Well…I have a question for you…do you feel “loaded up” with money? Yeah, I didn’t think so…but, according to the idiot in chief “our consumers are rich” and “I gave a tremendous tax cut and they’re loaded up with money”…so I guess the 40% of you Americans who can’t even come up with 400 bucks in an emergency must be wrong or you’re lying. This is just how clueless the idiot in chief is…he believes the bullshit from fox news that most of the repub tax cuts went to everyday Americans and not to the rich and corporations when only 20% of Americans polled believe it…call it clueless, call it a lack of empathy, or call it what it is, that trump doesn’t give a damn about anyone but himself. When the recession hits, and it will, even the kool aid drinkers on the right are going to turn on trump when they start losing their jobs and everything else because they are not “loaded up” with money and trump and his cronies are don’t have the talent to help soften the blow…even now, trump has already started to blame everyone else but his stupid trade war for the coming recession…and if he truly believes that it is the media who are causing the problems with the economy, he won’t do a damn thing about it but attack them and play the victim while the country burns…

A recession is coming…
Well…as we all know, the idiot trump inherited a booming economy from Obama and has done nothing but try to screw it up ever since…tax cuts for the rich, tariffs, and trade wars even with our friends have put the economy in a precarious position with all of the signs pointing to a recession later in the year or next year…so what is trump going to run on then? Hate and racism? Yep, probably…when you hear Ken Cuccinelli, trump’s immigration chief say that the immortal words on the plaque at the Statue of Liberty were meant for Europeans only…not those icky black and brown people. The problem with a recession coming with trump and his cronies in charge is that we have lower that fourth rate minds in charge of dealing with it who have all drunk the tax cut kool aid and have no thoughts other than cuts are the only thing that is ever necessary in any situation. Now, who would have thought that having an idiot who bankrupted every business he ever had and has a fourth grade understanding of economics would be a bad thing to have in charge when the economy crashes? I do feel for the people who are going to lose their jobs because of the morons running things…but, most of them voted for trump so I have absolutely no sympathy for them…voting for someone who you watched portray a successful businessman on tv is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard..but that is your trump voter…geez…
The economy starts to sag…
Well…gee, who could have ever predicted that putting an ignorant moron in charge of the US economy would cause damage that starts to destroy the great one he was left by Obama? Ominous clouds have started to appear on the horizon with the release of the jobs numbers this morning that showed only 75,000 jobs were created and, with a revision of earlier numbers from this year, the past three months have seen no jobs created at all and in fact, layoffs across the country have started with over a 100,000 jobs lost just in the past month or so. I wonder what that cause would be? Could it be the moronic tariffs that idiot boy has imposed on friends and foes alike? That’s sure what it looks like as the taxes by tariff that have been loaded on the shoulders of the American people take effect and the higher costs cool off demand across the country…and that doesn’t even take into effect the Mexican tariffs that are slated to take effect Monday and that will slam the Michigan economy by instantly raising costs for automakers who get much of their parts from Mexico…auto sales are already slowing ominously and an extra 5% in costs that idiot boy wants to raise to 25% will mean huge layoffs that have already started with the slowing demand. So, I wonder what the idiot in chief is going to run on when the economy goes into a recession by the end of the year? He has nothing else and with being underwater in the midwest states already, a cratering economy is not going to make it better….impeach…
Here comes the trump economy…
Well…as the idiot trump boasted that his economy would be “the greatest” and some in the business community bought into those lies to make the stock market shoot up, the reality of the idiot that knows nothing being in control is finally being felt….starting with job growth that was half of predicted last month, we now have more data showing that trump being in office and the morons he has put into the government just because they are rich don’t have a clue what they are doing and the things they are doing are damaging business confidence….and that is slicing the estimates of growth in the economy to under 1%….not the bigly 4% that trump promised…but we all know how much he lies and he didn’t even know anything about the economy so why would anyone think he could deliver on those promises? So, the idiot trump can no longer blame anyone but himself when we hit the next recession that is coming this summer..;..this is what you voted for trump voters…enjoy the unemployment lines you idiots….impeach..
Is anyone surprised?
Well… I have to laugh at the surprise that has been coming out of some quarters in Europe that the economy there has slowed markedly over the past few months with the head of the IMF now saying the continent will go back into recession this year. What did they expect? When you slash spending and pay for workers, the result has always been slowing growth…just as Keynes postulated in his economic theories that have been so derided by the right here in the US. One of the things that everyone seems to be ignoring in the headlong rush to austerity across the globe is that you can never cut your way to growth….that cuts in spending and infrastructure investment will certainly mean years of slower growth instead of the robust growth that comes from deficit spending in a recession. I feel we have lost the ability to be objective in economics as the partisanship of politics and ideology have blinded us to what works in climbing out of recession…but, I think that is the aim of the repubs with their only stated goal over the last 3 years is to defeat Obama; no matter how much damage is done to the country…geez…

Well…this is going to be a quick hitter for now….as the world has been gripped by the nonsense of the right across the world that austerity is the right path to take in a recession, we have started to see what the results of these programs are in Europe and they mirror the slowdown here in the US. I cant wait to say that Keynes is right and has always been right…the proper path to take in a recession is to continue to stimulate until the economy’s growth is self sustaining by the increase in demand that comes with rising incomes. It’s not really that complicated and it works every time when there are educated adults in charge….that are not so ideologically driven as the right is here….and since the austerity program was enacted first in Europe, the troubling slowdown in France and Germany that is happening now is what we can expect here, too…nonsense, nonsense, nonsense….thank you tea party….geez…
I may have been a little harsh…and other things..
Well…I may have been a little harsh in my assessment that the Post wanted stories that were more desperate than mine….but, my story is not the typical one of unemployment that most people face. So, that’s the last time I’ll talk about that. I did want to say “I told you so” with the steadily worsening economy and the Dow down almost 300 points today…something I predicted in the last week or so. Not something I wanted to see since I am losing money like crazy and I don’t have a lot left but maybe it’s something that needs to happen to get rid of the repubs and their nonsense on the economy….the strange thing is, the repubs are always going back into history to justify their positions and then they ignore it when it doesn’t fit…oh, it’s not a strange thing, they cherry pick everything and lie about everything else….man, I am losing my edge…but, back to the historical significance of where we are….it’s just like 1937 when Roosevelt bowed to repub pressure and made drastic cuts to spending while the economy was idling; sending it back into a recession that was only broken by WW II. I will predict that is what is going to happen in the next few months….geez….
I think they may have won….
Well…have been reading a lot today…yeah, I know, I do that everyday but today it seems that an idea has formed that I wasn’t even thinking about. Weird, huh? Not really, I’ll bet that happens to everyone…we have this long, protracted recession on our hands and one thing that I haven’t heard anything about is the decline of the middle class and it’s effect on the recovery. Since 75% of the economy is consumer spending, when the consumers have been squeezed as they have been by outsourcing of jobs, wage cuts, and rising health care costs, the engine of growth that used to be the middle class can only sputter. It has been an orchestrated attack on labor by the right and business that has led us to these straights; where the average worker makes less today than he did 30 years ago but the top one percent’s share of the economy has grown from 9 percent 30 years ago to almost 25% today. It is clear that it has been the goal of the right to decimate organized labor but I can’t understand why this same labor keeps voting for them because they will “get government out of the way” and allow them to keep more of their money. But more of less wages is always going to be less than what they would have had if the playing field wasn’t so tilted to business. And, the repubs have their thumb on the scale taking more and more from you and me and giving it to the rich.
I’ll end with a question that I now ask of all business but was originally aimed at GM: “Who is going to buy your 40 thousand dollar Suburbans when the middle class is destroyed?” I think we now know the answer….
