Well….things appear to be closing in on the idiot trump this week when a federal judge shut down his claims of “executive privilege” as he tries to hide his role in the insurrection…and she did it three times with three rulings that slapped him down hard and opened the way to release of some of the information tomorrow. She really had to explain to idiot boy’s lawyer that executive privilege resides with the current president and knocked down trump’s assertion that privilege “exists in perpetuity” and the money quote was this one…”but presidents are not kings and plaintiff is not president” and made sure to make the point that privilege belongs to the office, not any individual and that Biden has made it abundantly clear that he will not invoke and privilege on any of the records. So, finally, we may start to see just how deeply idiot boy and his minions were involved with the planning and operation of the insurrection….and then maybe some charges will finally be brought…but with Garland as AG, I don’t hold out a lot of hope for that happening…geez…

Merrick Garland has to go…
Well…you know, I really wanted Merrick Garland to be a good AG and start restoring the rule of law in this country…but, he sits on his hands as all of trump’s cronies ignore congressional subpoenas which is braking the law…a few of them actually and yet Steve Bannon thumbs his nose at them and refuses to even acknowledge that he has received the subpoena…and what about the ten counts of obstruction of justice that Mueller had evidence for in his report? That surely should be enough to charge trump and now, the special prosecutor has shown that 13 people in the idiot’s circle broke the law by campaigning on government time…a violation of the Hatch act that makes this crap a felony….where are the charges for that? Look, I can understand getting your feet under you in new job but 10 months is enough…it’s time to start fixing our broken justice system and if he is not up to it, it’s time for him to go….geez….
It finally is infrastructure week….
Well….the dems first big bill has been passed and it is finally, really infrastructure week….not the joke that it was for the past 4 years under the idiot boy…and there was even a few repubs that voted for it, too….this 1.7 trillion dollar bill will get started on fixing the roads, bridges, airports, and every other part of the things that make this country run…along with that, there is money for lead water pipe replacement for the entire country along with broadband internet for underserved areas…but, as always, the repubs are so terrified of the dems being able to run on getting things done for the people of the country that they have started to lie about it…both taking credit for the bill while voting against it and saying that only 11% of the money is going to “real” infrastructure, whatever that is….but it just more of the same sour grapes that always comes from them when the dems get something done…just like they did for the ACA or Obamacare. Now, they need to get moving on the second bill and include the expansion of Medicare that will then cover dental, vision, and hearing care that is supported by 84% of Americans….but that doesn’t matter to Manchin and Sinema…they still don’t want to help people since their owners don’t want it…and that is pretty sick…geez…
The Koch’s are at it again….
Well….how damn dumb do you have to be to think the most important thing to do with your time is go out and protest against something that doesn’t exist? That’s just what it happening with all of the non-degreed white women who elected a trump clone for governor of Virginia….and have been polled that critical race theory was the most important thing that got them to vote for the repub….and they don’t want it taught to their children…which it isn’t in any school across the country. So, why would they think it is? It’s the Koch’s again who have set up an interlocking network of “news” organizations. podcasts, and rallies that use that non-existent theory to stir up the racist whites and keep them agitated by bombarding them with crap like “all white kids are racist” according to the theory and that is what is going to be taught to them if CRT is allowed into the schools….and one of the messages that is repeated by this network is that slavery wasn’t that bad and it wasn’t whites fault since every race has owned slaves in the past. If you remember, it was the Koch’s who were behind the astroturf tea party that came into being after Obama was elected…and that was no coincidence…they know they can gin up outrage in these people since they are primed for it by fox news, sinclair, and the rest. My question is history is history, shouldn’t kids be taught the truth? That this damn country was built on the backs of slaves and racism is still pretty prevalent…how do you fix something if you don’t let kids see the truth? I feel bad for people who are being used as foot soldiers in this war on progress in this country….but they have a responsibility to seek out the truth and it is just lazy on their part to take the easy path and just let fox news rot their brains….geez….

Well…those asshole repubs really do want to kill children and leading the charge is the supreme asshole, Ted Cruz. Just today when someone posted a quote from Big Bird on twitter that he had gotten his covid vaccine and the innocuous comment that it would “give his body an extra protective boost that keeps me and others healthy”…and I’m sure this is part of the rollout of the vaccine for children 5 years old and up that started this week and is trying to put the kids at ease about it…but ole ted had to weigh in with his corrosive assholeness when he replied: “government propaganda for your 5 year old”….now, why does he and all repubs want children to die? By tweeting this out to his followers, he is going to kill at least a few children whose parents are on the fence about the vaccine…I know that if I had young children we would have been first in line to get them vaccinated just like with the MMR vaccine and the polio vaccine…and the third shot of the covid vaccine and flu vaccine that I got a few weeks back…and I didn’t do it because I’m scared of covid…although I am…but I got them because it is my duty as a citizen to help protect everyone else and stop the spread of covid…if it protects me too, so much better…how do these assholes live with themselves?
A messaging problem…
Well…I think the dems brought a knife to a gun fight…when it comes to messaging all of the good things that they have done for the country and the economy, why aren’t they shouting it from the rooftops? When exit polling shows that people don’t credit the dems for anything, we know there is a messaging problem…when they don’t even recognize that the couple of grand in stimulus money came from dem legislation, there is a messaging problem….when they don’t recognize that the economy is booming, there is a messaging problem…especially when the same exit polling from around the country show that people think the economy stinks when unemployment is down by over 10% since Biden took office and over half a million jobs were added last month…to go with the 12 million added since Biden was elected…so what do we do about it? The repubs have fox news to counter all of the good things with lies and we need to make sure the truth is out there…every damn dem needs to get with the program and tout what has been accomplished and maybe even spend some money to take out ads across the media landscape to make sure people know what is going on and what we’ve done….things have changed and we need to change to cut through the fox bullshit….geez…
The CNN sory gets worse…
Well…if it wasn’t enough for CNN to go to blood red Texas and interview a couple who says “Biden inflation” is costing them an extra 38 dollars a month just for milk for their big family…something that can’t be true if you just look at the average and local cost graphs for milk for the country and Texas…but it popped into my head that a family with 9 kids under the age of 18 (some adopted) would be getting 2700 dollars a month from the “Biden” child tax credit of 300 dollars per child…and the CNN piece is just so obviously a hit piece that they never even checked whether or not the couples story was true or to press them if they are taking advantage of the child tax credit…so they whine about 38 bucks a month while getting 2700 and sit there with their “woe is me” story about inflation impacting their way of life and the reporter just sits there and nods his head…letting these repubs bash Biden with lies. This is the problem with media these days, they don’t report facts anymore but just try to gin up “crisis” after “crisis” and try to blame it all on Biden…no wonder his approval rating is down and no wonder CNN’s is too….geez…

Well…I am getting really tired of the media, especially CNN, having to make everything into a crisis and the worst thing that has ever happened every damn day….their latest botch job focuses on inflation and the price of milk for some reason and the reporter went nuts when the people he was interviewing said that they couldn’t afford milk anymore because of Biden’s inflation…and then, like the hack he is, the reporter then goes to the grocery store with the people so he can make it sound even worse, look, yeah there is some inflation right now and the cost of gas is high…and pork chops…pork chops!! Have gone up in price by 50 cents a pound…why doesn’t Biden do something about that? I mean he should go to the processing plants and stand on the dis-assembly line and single handidly butcher enough hogs to make the price go down…and after that, he should go drill some oil wells to get the price of gas down….yep, that was sarcasm…there’s not a damn thing that can be done about any of this right now since he can’t get legislation through the repub blockade that would help…so, for once, why don’t we blame mitch mcconnel for his obstruction? Hey CNN…here’s a story for you…think you could do some real reporting for a change? Geez…
Elections…
Well…we had an election here in Muskegon and I’m pretty happy with the result…all three progressive candidates I voted for won their races so that was cool…we are going to have a new mayor replacing the repub one that has been in office for almost 10 years and I can’t be happier about that…but, I can’t believe that only a little over 4,000 people voted and the mayor’s race was won 2200 to 2100…and that is out of 38,000 people who live here…now, I know that the number of registered voters can be half of that or less but damn, only 4,000 voters? Now, that I don’t understand…I hit the record this year of being a voter for 50 years and have never missed an election that I was eligible for….and now with the permanent absentee ballots, it is just too easy to vote so I wonder why no one does? Oh, well…I did my part…..
Why hasn’t the idiot been prosecuted?
Well…I’ve had this thought kicking around in my head a while and thought I’d try to get it out of there…whey hasn’t idiot boy been prosecuted for his malfeasance during the start of the covid pandemic? With estimates saying that his failures cost an additional 130,000 American lives, he at least should be prosecuted for negligent homicide and be locked up for the rest of his life…especially since all of their decisions were politically motivated…especially at the start when it looked like the virus was only attacking blue states and minorities and they were perfectly okay with that. What needs to happen, and I am confused why it hasn’t, is a investigation of the pandemic response from start to finish to find out what really happened…and then the doj needs to get involved to prosecute anyone who made it worse as they just did in Brazil with the investigators recommending charges against Bolsinaro…and since he is considered a mini trump, trump should be charged as well….geez…
