Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I won at pool so that was cool…but it was a long day with going out to have a couple with G after pool so I am a little worn out today…slept crappy again…and again…oh, well…didn’t get anything done yesterday and today looks like the same since I have to be down at the Van Andel around 5 to help T out with some volunteer work…that is going to make this a long day so I guess I’ll take a nap this aft….it is raining outside right now and the roads were a little slick going out to Meijers but with it warming up, it should be just rain in a little while…T is out at the
Santa parade with her work and I think I’ll take a look at that on tv and see if I can see her…not much to do today..going to just watch sports and relax…and try to get another one of these out…more later….

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t do much with all of the snow….slept okay last night but a little fitfully but that is normal so I’m not going to complain….didn’t get up too early today so maybe there will be no need for a nap today….I do need to get some cleaning done to compliment the kitchen floor work but, with it being pool day, I’m not sure how much I’ll do..did have a funny thing happen to me this morning….my next door neighbor knocked on my door and invited me to her in-laws for Thanksgiving if I had no place to go…that was pretty nice of her….but, as you know, I do a turkey every t-day and I am looking forward to making it and watching football…T asked me to help volunteer at the Griffins game tomorrow night for the Salvation Army since she couldn’t get enough people to do it….so I am going to be working there at 5 until the end of the game…even going to be bell ringing at the end of it as the people file out….might be fun…and it’s for a good cause…more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I slept okay, too…that, in itself, is weird….and I had dreams with a 65 Cadillac convertible and Hugh Hefner in it…not the old, dried up current one but the swinging one from the 60’s….and, I was good again last night so I feel okay today…have to do the grocery run this morning and take back the bottles and cans that have been around here for the past year…only about 3 bucks worth but they won’t be in my kitchen anymore…I did get the kitchen floor scrubbed with a scrub brush yesterday and even did the cupboard doors…today should be the countertops and sink along with getting more resumes out…not much to do today…other than cleaning, I still just want to hibernate with the cold and snow….more later…

Oh…one last thing…Joe Walsh turns 67 today…so, Happy Birthday Joe!

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but all I did was hibernate with all of the snow…and it looks like there is 6 more inches on the car this morning which does not help my mood at all….slept crappy and have been up since before 5 since this time I couldn’t get back to sleep….so there will be lots of coffee this morning…it was a little weird yesterday with the car freezing the brakes after the run out to get the papers but it seems like it is okay after I took it out to check them later in the day…don’t need anything to go wrong with it when it’s this cold…not much to do today…and this time it’s true…I am going to do the kitchen today with a floor scrub but that will be about it…have been good the past three days so even with not sleeping, I feel okay today…we’ll see how long that lasts…more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and had a nice lunch with T so that was cool…but I just looked outside and can’t find the Miata there is so much snow…that is really, really depressing and it looks like a hibernation day for today…slept better than I expected which is poor for most people but I lived through it….I do need to go out and get the papers and that is going to mean getting cold and snowy here in a few minutes and I am not looking forward to that….not ,much to do today…I got the oven cleaned yesterday with just a little damage to the hands so that was cool and today I may just do the rest of the kitchen, even the floor and then maybe a little tv time today….need to get caught up on Homeland so that might be an idea…and, one more of these today since there are things happening I do need to comment on…more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get anything done so that was a little disappointing…slept crappy and was up at 5 this morning so that was not good…I did get out to have a couple with K yesterday afternoon and that was fun..but the Lions and the Wings both lost so that wasn’t….and today I won’t be able to get on the bike since it is icy and that makes for a raised level of grumpiness…I am going to have lunch with T so maybe that will help with that…not much to do today…going to try to start on the kitchen this morning and then finish it this aft…need to do my oven, too so that will keep me busy most of the day…more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done…lost an earplug over night and that woke me up so the sleep was not good…not sure why I’m surprised at that….the turkey was good but it just struck me as funny that I had the meal and had everything cleaned up by noon yesterday….man, my life is boring….no cleaning at all yesterday but the kitchen needs to be done today but I’m not sure I’m motivated to do it….can’t get on the bike today since it snowed last night so that makes it 8:30 and I’m already bored…oh, well…not much to do today…just going to veg it until the Lions come on or the race…there’s not even any soccer today….more later…

Well…yeah, I know…haven’t done any politics lately but it is from still smarting from out losses in the election a few weeks back..but, the darkness is lifting and I will have one of those for tomorrow…and then I hope it will continue right on for the rest of the year…but, this one is not about politics…it’s just another life update to keep me busy until the race comes on in a half hour…the bike ride was COLD this morning and I can’t figure that out…I was in full thermasuit but my hands an feet were so cold when I got back it was no longer cold but pain instead….I was out last week when it was only one degree warmer with no problems so that is a little confusing…I did get the shifter dialed in but I don’t like the shorter brake handle….I will have to see if I can swap them out…I did make some cash today so I will have enough for the rest of the year so that takes a load off…and, the turkey came out pretty good but I am still full from lunch and almost uncomfortable…but that from one slice of turkey, one biscuit, some mashed potatoes, and some corn? I know I can’t eat a lot but that can’t be more than 800 calories…oh, well….

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t win at pool…didn’t play pool so it would have been pretty hard to win…slept okay but was up early again this morning for some reason….and no dreams to speak of again, too, which is getting boring…didn’t really do anything yesterday but put the new shifter on the bike and get the adjustment semi set that I will work on this morning when I get out for a ride…need to go today since there is supposed to be 4-8 inches of snow over the next day or so and I want to get out before that happens…I am a little excited since today is the first turkey day of the month and I am roasting one this morning…54 cents a pound for protein is a pretty cheap price and I like turkey a lot so that will be good…not much to do today…just the bike ride and cooking but that is it…might have a drink with K later but no plans other than that…more later…

Well…just sitting here thinking about how coincidences make me smile sometimes…as you know, Fridays are normally pool days but today Tom begged off and I was okay with that…a little after the time that I would have normally left, I get a knock on the door from the mailman who has my new shifter to replace the one that broke earlier in the week. The strange thing was it was not even supposed to get here until next week sometime…and if I would have been out shooting pool, I would have had to find it up at the office if the mailman would have left a notice which they sometimes don’t.  So, after 15 minutes or so of work, I have the new one mounted and adjusted and I will be ready to get back on the bike tomorrow if the trails are clear enough…just a neat coincidence…
