Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I got a few things done…finally…and have a spider free bathroom, for today anyway…slept normally and crappy but feel okay today…it feels nice to have a cool breeze blowing through here this morning but it is going to be hot over the weekend…might even have to put the air on to sleep….I did get the broken pedal replaced on the bike but can’t get the left hand threaded one off…just don’t have enough leverage…so, Tom…I need a 5/8 open ended wrench and a piece of pipe or something for a cheater bar…I’ll e-mail later….no pain today but I did get some more ibuprofen this morning and I may try that before the bike just to keep the cramps out of my calves….not much to do today….there is soccer on in a minute and I want to see England play so the bike ride will be put back for a while unless the game is not interesting…more later……

Keep talking Donald…just keep talking…
Well….I think all we need to do in this election is just let the Donald keep talking…the more he talks the dumber he appears and the more his poll numbers tank….in fact…after the Orlando speech debacle, his unfavorables have hit a never before seen 70%…that means that 70% of the people in the US now have an unfavorable view of Donald….this number would better fit with a murderer or a serial killer; not a candidate for president from one of our major political parties…but, that doesn’t matter to him…he is so delusional that he truly believes that polling didn’t exist before he came along….”I think I’ve made polling a very important thing. ‘Cause I never used to hear about the polls.” How much more isolated of a person can there be? That polls don’t exist because he didn’t notice them before? We just need this guy to keep talking and we will not even need to spend any money on the election….typical rich repub….that nothing exists unless they can see it personally…what a maroon….geez…
June 15th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I got a few things done…tried to get the pedals off the bike and luckily, I got the broken one loose…but, the other one won’t come off so I am soaking it in penetrating oil…going to go out in a while and buy and new set so I can get out on the bike when it quits raining…slept okay, kinda, last night and feel okay today with being good for a second day and I will do that again tonight….did toss and turn all night and I wonder it it is time to try new things to make my sleep better….probably would be a good idea….not really sore today anywhere but my hands that I abused trying to get the pedals off so the bike ride will be okay…not much to do today…need to do some work around here and then clean a little later….started the bathroom yesterday but then soccer came on and I vegged it out the rest of the day….more later…..
More corporate welfare in Michigan…
Well…yep you are seeing right, no Trump for today even though he is such an easy target that I could write those with my eyes closed…yeah, I know some of these already look like I’ve done that…but, back to topic….here in Michigan, we have an energy supplier called DTE Energy that supplies gas and electricity to the eastern side of the state and whose job it is to project energy needs and build the needed infrastructure to support those needs…but, it appears that they are stuck in the past with the type of energy that will be needed over the next 20 years. Over the past few months, they have been trying to get the state of Michigan and us taxpayers to pay for a new gas pipeline to bring in gas from Pennsylvania and Ohio..but worse than that, they want us to guarantee that they will make a profit on the line for the next 30 years…nevermind that Bloomberg came out with projections that oil and gas usage is going to plummet over the next decade as more and more renewables come on line….these guys at DTE want to insulate themselves from any downside and make us pay for their bad decisions…oh, and the company that owns the pipeline? A subsidiary of DTE….since when is it fair that DTE gets any and all profits while any losses will be paid for by you and me? This is just the kind of corporate welfare that really irritates me….geez…
June 14th
Well…it was a busy day yesterday but I made some cash so that was cool…had stuff going on from 8 until almost 4 so the day went by pretty fast…and I got a lot of stuff done that I needed to which will make today a little easier…slept okay last night but had some kind of bug wake me up during the night…need to spray again to keep them out of here…had some dreams that I don’t remember but maybe tonight I will…I have been feeling kind of old lately with all of the aches and pains but then I remembered that I’ve always felt that way so I shouldn’t be concerned….at least my back is holding up so I’ll take that and move on….the rain I hoped for is here but it is not going to last long enough for me to stay off the bike today and rest the legs….should end just after I work out so it looks like I’ll bag the phone and go out in the wet…not much to do today…after the busy day yesterday…that is really true…the spiders are irritating me so I may get to the bathroom today…more later….
Trump really is an idiot…
Well…it only took 12 hours after the tragedy in Orlando for Trump to make it all about him…basically shouting in a tweet that he is happy so many people are congratulating him for being right about Muslim terrorists and then called for the closing of our borders to Muslims…again…no matter that he killer was born in the US and didn’t have to cross any border…as you know, facts don’t matter to the Donald…but the worst part is his interview with fox this morning where he went off the rails and said that Obama must be working with the terrorists since he won’t say Muslim terrorists….now…I really do think Trumps really is an idiot or he must be working with idiots to say any of that crap…and no one calls him on it….fox should be ashamed for allowing this….okay…just too irritated to write about this anymore…more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday…not really…but I do have to do this update….slept okay last night but feel a little hollow this morning and you know why….didn’t do anything yesterday but watch races all day an I think that was a good thing…made a huge ham for lunch and I’ll have leftovers for the entire week from that…not too sore today other than the normal creaks from being old…I do have to lie out in the sun today to start evening out the biker tan that is starting to look weird….have a bad case of raccoon eyes going on and that needs to be fixed….still don’t think I’m eating enough since I am at my end of summer weight already and don’t have a lot of energy…will try to fix that today but I find it’s really hard to eat more….not much to do today…need to run some errands either today or tomorrow but that is about it….more later….
I’ve had enough of this crap…
50 people dead. I can’t believe I’m writing this…50 people dead. Just because they were gay. And, the “good guy with a gun” turns into a bad guy with a gun and ruins the lives of 50 families just because he was “upset” when he saw two guys kissing. I’m going to lay this at the feet of the people on the right who have been demonizing the LGBT community out of some stupid religious nonsense….and it continued after the murders with the Lt. Governor of Texas, Dan Patrick tweeting this: “Do not be deceived…god cannot be mocked…a man reaps what he sows..”
Yeah…this idiot blamed the victims for being murdered because they were born gay….and just trying to live their lives and enjoy themselves a little….but, we can’t have that…the right believes that the LGBT community deserves to be murdered because of some book written by ignorant goatherders 2K years ago….I’ve had enough of this crap…we need to do something….anything….this is on you repubs….

Well….it was an okay day yesterday and I made a little cash so that was cool….didn’t get anything else done and today looks the same….there are 3 races on this aft so I will be riding the couch after noon…slept okay last night but back to the earplugs again but I think that helps me sleep…not too sore today…just twinges right now but I think it will get worse after I get on the bike…not sure why I should be getting this pain with almost 1K miles already…that normally happens up until 400 miles each spring so I am a little confused…oh, well…I was hoping there would be some storms today but it looks like that won’t happen….I could use it getting a little less humid around here but I like the heat on the bike….not much to do today…going to make that ham that is in the fridge but that is about it…just can’t get motivated to do anything right now….more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I won at pool so that was cool…went out and had a couple with K, too, so that put me ahead of the night and I am feeling it today…but, the coffee is working so I am improving and almost ready to get on the bike….have been having problems with cramps in my calves lately and I’m not sure why…along with the other pains, I am feeling old lately and I don’t like it….didn’t get anything else done yesterday and I’m not sure if I’ll do anything today…the bathroom needs to be cleaned but we’ll see how I’m feeling later….I was really hoping that we’d get some storms so I could take a day off the bike but that is not going to happen so maybe I’ll just do a no sprint day and see if that helps…my legs are getting flat so I know they will need a rest soon….not much to do today….was going to make a ham but I have leftovers that need to be used so I think I’ll wait until tomorrow…more later…
