Well…with the mainstream media doing everything they could to get the right wing party elected in France included shouting every day that the right was ahead and the left wing had no chance, the people surprised the world by giving the most votes to left wing parties and the right wing assholes finished a distant third…now, lets try to learn something from that…we need to ignore the media here that are pushing the right wing’s desire to get rid of Joe since he will beat the idiot trump…and just go out and vote…don’t be distracted by all the bullshit flooding the country…remember, it’s all lies and Joe is proving that he is up to being president by the best measure of all…he is doing the job and doing it as well as almost any president in my long lifetime and idiot boy is rated the worst president in history…oh, and his incompetence killed more than a half million Americans…but Joe stumbled in the debate…that’s equal, right? We’re getting organized…
Well…with the utter collapse of honesty at the NYT, we on the left are starting to get organized and that means unconditionally getting behind Joe…and using every tool at our disposal to uncover the fascist 2025 project and make sure that every voter knows what the repubs have planned for this country….like using the army to arrest anyone who speaks out against them…firing all federal employees and staffing the government with right wing assholes that will try to burn the place to the ground…and take away women’s rights on a federal level…so even here in Michigan where we’ve placed women’s rights into our constitution, federal law and a corrupt supreme court will take them away…so, gee, you can’t decide between a good old man or a 34 felony convicted rapist fraudster who only knows how to lie? And you have to remember that you’re not just voting for Joe…you are voting for competent government staffed by honest people who really will do the right thing for the people of this country and not just their rich donors…and Stephen King weighed in over the past couple of days to his 7 million followers about what the repubs are planning since the media won’t talk about it…so just stop reading anything from the NYT or the Post…they are right wing rags now and we need to hurt them by cancelling any subscriptions you have with them…and seek out honest ones like the Philadelphia Enquirer…let’s get to work…geez…
I did it!
Well…I made it to 5,012 miles today well before my birthday and that checks off the first of the 4 remaining goals for this year…to go over my record of 6,109 miles for the year, to get to 7,100 miles, and to ride every day this year…I’m only doing two rides today and have those done before 10…I do need some rest and recovery time since my legs were really flat this ,morning but I think I did that to myself with not enough calories to support 38 miles on the bike and mowing the lawn yesterday…so, I’m going to try to eat more since I have four burgers and 3 chicken thighs that I grilled yesterday in the fridge…so it’s going to be a day of TDF and races all day so I’m going to read and maybe clean a bit…the bathroom can use some work…
July 7th
Well…damn, only have 25 minutes before I need to get on the bike for the first of only two rides today…only have 12 miles to do to get to 5,000 for the year and I am going to give myself a light day since my body really does need a rest…slept okay last night but I am just so worn out today and I know I did it to myself…just two chicken legs baked beans and an ear of corn for lunch and then 2 boneless/skinless chicken thighs and some beans and peas from the garden for dinner and that is nowhere near enough calories to support what I’m doing….oh, well…it’s foggy out here this morning and only 57 degrees but I’m still not going to put a fleece on…need to get the rides in before the F1 race comes on at 10 but I’ve just started the coffee and need to get a cup down before I get on the bike…looks like an almost calm day out there and that will be welcomed after going into the wind so much lately…I need to order the parts for the black bike soon so I can put it back together but the shifter on the grey bike is still working after the adjuster broke and I am amazed that I’ve put a thousand miles on it since then…I wonder if I can get the rest of the year out of it? Not much to do today…just the rides and no cooking today with grilling 4 burgers and chicken thighs yesterday…really looking forward to the easy day today…need a rest…bad…more later…
Damn, that was early…
Well… you know, getting on the bike before 6:30 is way too damn early…but it got me done with the rides before 10 so I could see F1 qualifying…the straight into mowing the lawn and now it’s the England match and then over the the Harley dealer to see if they have any vintage cars and bikes like advertised on the radio a couple of days back…after killing the weeds, the lawn has started to fill back in and it would look okay if it would rain every few days…I am going to do some filling and seeding tomorrow since I have two bags of topsoil to use and lots of bluegrass seed…only have 14 miles to ride to get to 5K for the year so that will happen tomorrow and I may just do two rides to give myself a little break and let my body heal up some…pretty sure I can ride 2,100 more miles by the end of the year but should I make a stretch goal of riding another 5,000? Nope, that will take away the last goal that I’m still going to try to hit before I turn 75…I guess we’ll see…time for weight work…
Walking on water…
Well…int he current media environment, if Joe Biden learned how to walk on water, the pundits would say “why did you use so much water?” And that’s exactly what happened after Joe did the ABC interview Friday and then did a rally with Wisconsin democrats where he did a barn burner of a speech calling out the idiot trump and his lies, criminality, and fraud…but the only reaction to that was “nope, he didn’t do enough” so, again…stumbling in one debate is fatal for Joe but 34 felonies, rape, and treason is just hunky dory for idiot boy…and some of the criticism is coming from the left and the only thing I’ll say to that is shut the hell up…attention seeking from these smug asses will cost us the election…and you wait, you’ll find the dems that are calling for Joe to drop out are on the take from the repubs…as I said the other day, the whole push to get Joe to drop out is an operation run by China and Russia…just like the 2016 election theft was…so dems get your heads out of your asses and get behind a decent competent president…I know I’m for Joe until the end…geez…
July 6th
Well…man, I need to get on the bike before 6:30 to get three rides in before F1 qualifying comes on at 10…and the humidity out here is 90% so even though it’s only 64 degrees, it’s going to be a chore on the bike today…only have 51 more miles to ride to get to 5K before my birthday next week and I think that is an accomplishment…but I don’t think I’ve ever abused my body like this in my life…not too sore today but I sure was last night and I had to slather all of the topical pain killers on my back and joints just to be able to sit here….not sure what I’m going to do today but I know I need to eat more…had two chicken legs and an ear of corn for lunch and then a salad for dinner but need to load up today or I’ll be heading for a crash later…going to grill some chicken thighs and burgers today so I won’t have to cook for a couple and I’ll have enough to eat if I can force myself to do it…might have to mow the lawn today since it may rain tomorrow and Monday and the food I put on it has started it growing again…I really need to work on the door frame on the back of the house but there is a lot sports on today that I want to see starting at noon so I don’t know how I can wedge that in…more later…
It’s an operation…
Well…with all of the news media and social media shouting that Joe Biden should drop out of the race after his poor performance in the first debate, the one thing to remember is that trying to damage Joe and get him out of the race is a coordinated operation of the right wing billionaires and Russia and China…why else would they go silent on trump in the NYT but run 4 front page articles on why Joe should drop out of the race? And they have ignored the bombshell that idiot boy is being sued by a woman that he and jeffrey epstein raped when she was 12 years old…and there are 16 other women that have said he did the same to them…so Joe stumbled in the debate, but trump raped a 12 year old…they’re the same, right? Russia and China have operations all over social media that is amplifying the NYT’s attacks on Joe, too, including fake polls that show trump up 6 points…but, you know what? No one on the left reads the times anymore anyway…and the same with the post…right wingers turned them into the print version of fox news so why would our side give a damn what they say? Look, I’m “ridin with Biden”…he’s my president and the only person that deserves re-election with what he’s done…and just take a look at Kos if you want to see the Russians in action…they are planting articles on that left wing site to sow confusion and damage Joe…but, all we have to do is ignore it and stay behind Joe right up til the election…and you should be, too…geez…
July 5th
Well…it was a damn war zone up here last night and with it being calm, the smoke was so thick it looked like the fog we get here all the time…and it was so damn loud that the earplugs weren’t enough…I am so glad the 4th is over…and we didn’t get any rain and it looks like it will be dry today even though the forecast called for a 100% chance of rain…but it may rain in a few minutes…ha,ha…yeah that made me laugh, too…need to get on a bike here soon and I’m not sure if I should do the inside bike or not…if the damn rain would start it would make the decision for me…I need to go to the library this morning and return the books I finished up yesterday…and I need to do laundry and figure out what to eat today…I am so disappointed in the garden this year that I may have to do something different next year…maybe put everything in containers with new soil since I think there is something in the soil that is killing all of it…oh, well…I do need to put a new trellis up for the peas I planted in the leek space since 6 of them have come up and they will need something to support them…man, I just can’t get going and it’s almost 7….so it may be a 16 mile day today…but it won’t be…more like a 33 miler but we’ll see…off we go…more later…
Got everything done…
Well…I purposely made my schedule a little lighter today with how busy I’ve been the past week and had everything done by 12:30…got on the bike for the first ride quite early at 7am and saw a freighter going in to Verplanks east docks and finally got a photo of a blue heron that was standing alongside Muskegon Lake…he normally gets spooked when I stop to get the phone out..got all three rides in by 10:30 and then got the string trimmer out and did the whole property which just trashed my right shoulder and it hurts even not moving it…that will have to be treated later…and I got the downspout part painted since the duct tape I removed pulled all the paint off of it…tried some new bourbon marinade by SBR and I will be grilling the 6 legs I put in it along with 4 ears of corn…thinking of opening a can of baked beans, too, since I’m under on calories with only having a two egg omelet with a little cheese that couldn’t be more than 400 calories and with having just corn and two chicken legs, that’s only about another 300 cals and that is not enough…down to only 80 miles to get to the 5K before my birthday but it looks like a short day tomorrow with the rain that is supposed to be coming in and it may mean only 16 miles on the indoor bike and I wouldn’t mind that…rain is supposed to start at 3am and rain until 2pm but I’ll believe that when I see it since the rain did the splits again today and went to the north and south of us here…oh, well…
