Well…up and moving at 5:25 this morning and that follows waking up around 4am and I sure don’t want that to be the new normal…the goal is to stay in bed til at least 6am but that seems like a goal too far these days…we got another foot of snow last night so I’ll be out there shoveling for a couple of hours after I get the weight work and rides in and that sucks…it’s barely December and we’ve had 22 inches of snow in the past two days and that is so damn depressing…but there isn’t anything I can do about that but just hunker down and hibernate…have 5 1/2 books and enough food for a week and I don’t have to go out until the10th….so damn tired of the weather running my life…not sure what I’m going to do today other than read…should do some meal planning and I am going to make some ham soup but not until I use up the container I took out of the freezer a couple of days ago…so, I need to get going and get the weight work started…more later…

That was scary…
Well…that was scary…they finally plowed the alley and one lane on the street so I took the car out to take some due books back and pick up a few things at Meijers but I won’t be doing that again…the tires on the car do not like the snow and the car was sliding all over the place…had to start stopping a quarter of a mile from the stop lights or the thing would just go into a slide…and it was almost impossible to get moving from a stop…so, since this is my last car and I don’t want to be isolated here, next spring I’m going to start looking for some steel wheels and mount some winter tires…so I’ll have to start saving now…should be about a thousand bucks or maybe I’ll look on the Miata forums to see if anyone has some used stuff…so that means I won’t be going anywhere until the roads are dry…yow!
It really is Murder
Well…the consensus is in and the entire world thinks that Hegseth committed murder when he ordered the military to “kill them all” and did kill survivors of an earlier attack on the same boat…I mean you have two guys who are barely alive clinging to their shattered boat and you send another missile to murder them? What kind of a ghoul do you have to be to do something like that? This violates federal law and the UCMJ and it is true that the military personnel are also liable for carrying out this illegal order since they are required to not follow illegal orders and now the betting now is how much time Hegseth is going to serve in prison for these crimes…finally even the repubs have had enough and have started bipartisan investigations of this bullshit “war” the idiot trump thinks is one because he said it was…and the whole drug thing is just crap since idiot boy doesn’t care a bit about drug trafficking since he just pardoned the former president of Honduras who was in jail here for importing 100’s of tons of cocaine into the US…I wonder how much the idiot got paid for that pardon? Geez…
December 1st
Well…up and out of bed at 5;22 this morning and I would really like to get to 6 am at some point before I get up but I am enough of a realist to know that’s not going to happen anytime soon…just poured my first cup of coffee…there is another winter storm warning on for today with 6-12 inches forecast and that means I won’t be getting out of here until later in the week if I get out at all…don’t really have to go out until next week…have planned for this and have everything I need to hibernate for a week or so…might have to walk over to the library since I have books that are due back on the 9th…this is just too much, too early for winter…I really need to get more done around here today but I am so depressed about the damn snow that all I want to do is sit here on the couch and do nothing but I won’t…weight work first and then on the bike to get the rides done before 10am…not much to do today…I do have to cook since the turkey went bad yesterday and I had to toss the carcass so no turkey soup…but I have ham bones and they will end up in soup this week….more later…
