Well…just read that Bernie Sanders just endorsed Joe Biden in the online forum that Joe was using to talk about some of the issues today…and it was exactly what I was looking for, asking his followers, independents, greens, and even sane repubs to support Joe and return this country to sanity….and Joe talked directly to Bernie’s supporters and thanked them for their ideas and enthusiasm and promised to earn their votes in the fall…now, this is exactly what I was hoping would happen…but I would have gone a little further even and had Joe promise that Bernie is going to be an integral part of the campaign and administration that Joe puts together…here’s the thing, too…even when being attacked during the campaign, Joe was always the gracious, decent human being that this country needs right now…but that is Joe…no flash or soaring rhetoric but an innate goodness that trump and his cabal of idiots just don’t possess…and that needs to go into lots of ads starting now…split screen with Joe consoling an American and trump screaming at one of his “rallies”…cripes I could write a hundred of them…again…thanks Bernie…

Well…with the news today the Bernie Sanders is dropping out of the race for the dem nomination, all I have to say is thanks Bernie….look, I’ve been a fan of Bernie’s for a long time with his core being always trying to look out for the little guy and trying to rein in the corporations who are sucking this country dry. Bernie was not my choice in the primary, I voted for Liz Warren since I think she has the best combination of empathy, tact and steel and would make a great president…but, she didn’t win and am I sitting here pouting and saying that I’ll vote for trump if Liz is not the nominee? I’m looking at you Joe Rogan…you pea-brained idiot…you’d give us 4 more years of trump just because your fee fees are hurt that your guy didn’t get enough votes to win…I’ve got news for you, moron…that’s how it works…Joe got more votes so he is the nominee…with no rigging of the primaries or any other bullshit conspiracy theories that you and the rest of the “Bernie Bros” have been spouting….okay Bernie, now is the time to tell your followers in no uncertain terms that you will back Joe completely and you expect your followers to do the same…to do anything else is to be collaborators in the destruction of this country…and no, destruction is not necessary for the country to be rebuilt…it makes it so much damn harder to get the society you say you want….so, swallow your pride and understand that Joe Biden, with Bernie, Liz, Kamala, Amy, and Pete working together can start that repair process…and get us all to the country we can be if we just shoulder the repubs aside…

Well…with Joe Biden’s performance in the primaries held yesterday, his path to the nominations seems assured and all of us who had another candidate as our primary need to mourn a little, but then step back and look at the big picture…and that has to be getting behind our ticket to beat trump and his cronies and fumigate our government of him, moscow mitch, and the rest of these amoral, hypocrite assholes once and for all…and we can’t let the Russian misinformation, lies and bullshit affect our determination to throw trump out on his ass. If you remember 2016…the Russian backed ‘independent” candidate Jill Stein took enough “protest” votes from our side to give trump the election…and we all need to think, not this time. No more purity votes, no protest votes, no holding our nose votes, but votes for our side that will end the trump national nightmare that we have been living through for the past 3 1/2 years…I know I harp on this a lot, but this is the most important thing that any of you are going to do maybe in your lifetime…I mean isn’t saving our country worth voting for the one person who can do it? That person is our candidate…and there are going to be a group of happy people on our side when the VP slot is offered to another one of our great candidates…so, cry a little but then let’s get back to work and frickin vote….

Well…it’s another primary day in the vote for the dem candidate and with the polls showing that Joe Biden is going to be the big winner today, the predictable morons on our side are all over the internet saying that they can’t vote for Joe because he is just another republican or that the nomination was stolen from Bernie or there is no difference between the idiot trump and Joe…hey morons, if you are so stupid that you think a non vote for Joe is not a vote for the idiot boy you are dumber than a box of rocks. Yeah, Joe may be more conservative than you’d like and he may have taken some centrist stands over the years but comparing him to trump? That is just whining that your guy is going to lose…do you think there is a chance that any of your progressive agenda is going to be enacted if you sit this out and trump wins? With Joe, and the rest of the congress in our control, you bernie supporters still have a chance to shape the agenda and get some of what you want if Joe is president…and let’s remember, even if Bernie was elected, the congress is more conservative and cautious than he and you guys are and you are not going to get everything he wants either….you know, I’ve had enough of this damn whining from people on our side…Joe wasn’t my first choice but he is a decent human being that won’t keep children in cages, will fight for a woman’s right to control her own body, and will protect the working people in this country along with agreeing to much of our agenda…if that is not enough for you than go back to your whining and wait for another 4 years of trump and you’ll never get a bit of your agenda…go ahead, cut off that nose….
538 says it’s going to be Joe…
Well…isn’t it a breath of fresh air to not talk about the idiot trump for a change? After the wins on super Tuesday and with the pile of endorsements he has gotten just before an since then, the polling site 538 is giving Joe Biden a 94% chance of winning the dem nomination for president when you include the latest polling out of the remaining states. While Joe was not my first choice, I can get on board with this fundamentally decent man who we can count on to do the right thing where the country is concerned…and to follow the law…and to not lie all the damn time…and to be competent in appointing judges and his cabinet…not like the idiot who squats in the WH. One thing that does need to happen, though, is that some of the bigwigs in the dem party need to take him aside and destroy the delusion he has that there are people on the right he can work with…there are none and he needs to be ready to govern that way…he needs to make sure that he can get things done without them and that means we need to take the senate back, too, along with keeping the House…one other thing he needs to do is to draft Elizabeth Warren and the other wonderful candidates we had to craft the platform to be presented at the convention this summer…that will at least be a step to mending the fractures that still exist in our party…I will say thank you to Bernie for his comments the other day that he will support whom ever the candidate is…now he needs to get that word out to the berniebros who are grousing and planning to sit out the election that they need to put the country first, that winning this election is more important than their hurt feelings…there is plenty of time to bring this all together and crush idiot boy in the fall…and that has to be our message from here on out…
Super Tuesday part two…
Well…the voting is over and it appears that Joe Biden is the big winner in the primaries from yesterday….just a couple of weeks ago, the pundits were all saying his candidacy was dead and Bernie was going to take the nom easily…but, guess what? The voters had other ideas and those who wanted someone who could beat trump rose up and decided that Joe was the one…and it looks like his votes were a cross section of America…bolstered by AA voters, Latinos, and even some young people who are just so damn tired of the idiot trump that they voted for pragmatism instead of progressivism. I feel a little bad that Liz didn’t do better but what a VP candidate she would make…with Joe setting the agenda and then Liz doing what she does…making a plan for that. I’m not sure if we can count on Bernie’s supporters for the general with his comments last night that were basically a rant against people in the dem party who didn’t choose him…not a good look with all of the anger..but that is Bernie and if Joe wins, we need outreach to his supporters to get some of them on board….the hard core Bernie supporters are gone…they are almost as much of cultists as trump supporters are…okay, no…that’s not right..they are tired of the status quo and they feel Bernie can deliver change that no one else can….but, if they don’t come along, there may be no change but for the worse if trump steals another election. That has got to be the message to them…that they are welcome and Bernie’s ideas are welcome…we are the big tent party after all and should welcome anyone who can help…this is going to get even more interesting in the next month or so…next we need Bloomberg gone but not his money…if it used to defeat the idiot trump….

Well…I know you’ve probably had enough of the idiot trump and his band of criminals as I have so today I’m not going to talk about them…let’s talk about the Iowa caucuses and the shakeup that could come from them next week. At this point, I’m not really sure who my favorite is…I think I’ve accepted the fact that we need to support whoever the nominee is and make sure he beats the hell out of trump…I’ve liked Joe Biden for quite a while but he seems to be a little naive and out of touch with the new political reality that the repubs can’t be reasoned with, they won’t be part of any compromise that moves the entire country forward or treats Americans as more than pawns to be used to maintain their power…and they don’t give a damn about anyone who doesn’t vote for them. I think Biden’s beliefs are an old fashioned delusion where he is substituting how he thinks things are or should be with the political reality on the ground…and I fear that the progressive activists who are powering the party will sit this one out if he is the nominee. But, that is the one thing that can’t happen this year…we all need to get behind whoever the nominee is since anyone with a functioning brain and just a little empathy will be better than 4 more years of trump/mcconnell….hmmm…I think I’ll make this a series where I’ll talk about each of the leading candidates in a separate one….I know I’m already over for the month but to talk about having some hope and the genuinely great candidates we have is starting to restore my brain from the rot of trump….and I need a lot of that right now…
Rudy’s up to it again….
Well…you would think that will all of the shit that is ready to hit the fan with Rudy Giuliani and his part in the extortion of Ukraine for his boss the idiot boy, that he would be laying low and not doing even more crimes…..if you think that, you are wrong, wrong, wrong. Ole Rudy is back at it, crisscrossing Europe meeting with every damn disgraced “prosecutor” and Putin toady trying to make what’s false true and support the right wing conspiracy theories that the Bidens were guilty of everything bad that has happened in the past 50 years including killing Jimmy Hoffa. I have a word for the SDNY and it’s investigators…get those damn charges that you are going to charge Rudy with on the fast track and lock his ass up so he can’t do any more damage to the country by his international crime spree. It’s just so damn ridiculous that all of us are going to pay the price for this un-elected asshole’s meddling in the world that could just lead to Russia increasing their attacks on Ukraine since Rudy is telegraphing that the only thing the US cares about is political bullshit that helps trump….I have just had enough of this crap…we are not the US of trump….geez…

Well…okay, just a short one on something that Joe Biden said the other day…that he expects to be able to “work with” repubs if he is elected…and to me that calls into question his judgment…don’t get me wrong, I like Joe and always have…he has served this country well for almost his entire life but Joe, haven’t you been paying attention for the past 40 years? Especially the past 10 where the repubs have shown quite clearly that they would prefer to burn the country down than even talk to any dem about anything. Joe, you are not magic…and these are not the people who you worked with in the House and Senate…this crop of repubs are the most ill informed, hate filled bigots who have ever defiled this country and not a damn thing you say or do is going to change that….and to talk about “working’ with them shows a lack of grasp of the political realty that now infests this country and the only thing that will change that is getting rid of every damn repub…things have changed, Joe…get with the times…
Ted Cruz is the worst person in the world…
Well…I apologize up front to Keith Olbermann for stealing his schtick but there is no better description for Ted Cruz for what he did this week….at some speaking engagement, ole Ted was trying to be his smarmy best to the ugly crowd and decided he needed to make jokes about Joe Biden…the same Joe Biden who is burying his son right now…the same one who has seen tragedy throughout his life, losing his wife and young daughter in a car accident many years ago…but that doesn’t matter to ole Ted, the only thing that matters to him is to get a laugh at anyone’s expense….but this, this is just the distilled essence of the modern republican….the cruel psychopath that doesn’t care about anything but his ideology, who doesn’t care that…okay…who just doesn’t care about anything except himself….how can he live with himself?
