Well..man, getting out of bed was a process this morning…woke up at 5:04 but was able to get back to sleep in small chunks that ended at 7:23…had some weird dreams in that time that had “The Way of the World” by Genesis running through it….feel pretty worn out today with having to think about the health problems I’m having and the logistics of all of it…figuring out how to get to and from the appointments for my teeth and what needs to happen before then…oh, well…I did sleep okay last night so I should feel okay but I don’t….need to run an errand this morning but that’s the last thing I want to do…but we are supposed to get 5-8 inches of snow out here tonight along with high winds so it looks like a hibernation day that I hope will be the last one….there are races on from Daytona tonight so that will be the plan for later and I’ll push the good shows on Plex back until Friday night….but the truck race is on then so I don’t know if I’ll get to them…not much to do today…just want to get the errand run soon so I can settle in and take it easy for a bit…don’t need to cook until tomorrow with leftover chili and ribs in the fridge but to need to plan what will be next….more later…
Another okay day…
Well…have had another pretty good day and got a few things done so that is cool…started out with doing the grocery runs and for once, got everything that was on my list…even some navel oranges at Aldis for under three bucks for a 4 pound bag…when I got back, I did a ride indoors and decided that one was enough after doing 30 miles yesterday…I do have to arrange my freezer since I had to put stuff on top of the ice cube trays and that won’t work when I fill them later…there is some food in there that has been there since I bought this house two years ago so that can go to make room…just marinated some small rib pieces to have for dinner tonight and the dishes are done and now I am done for the day….need to watch some soccer…Arsenal needs to get it in gear to beat Man city down 1-0…

Well…I like the new Joe Biden…just today he attacked the repubs attempts to crash the economy so they can force cuts to SS and Medicare by releasing a fact sheet that shows that repub plans would increase the debt by 3 trillion dollars while Joe’s plans would cut it by almost two trillion…and that shows that the repubs using the debt for anything is just so much bullshit and lies…and Joe was blunt in a speech yesterday when he pointed out that the first bill the repubs passed would add 114 billion to the debt to protect tax cheats…and the 159 billion they would add to the debt by repealing reforms to medicare drug pricing…and they want to repeal corporate tax increases would add 269 billion to the debt….you get the picture…the repubs are willing to crash the world’s economy for the lie that they care about the debt when the only thing they care about is getting rid of Medicare and SS as they have since the start of them…but they won’t…for that they will need complete control of the country and that is not going to happen soon…I love the fact that Joe is getting aggressive in pointing out the truth…he needs to keep it up…geez…
February 15th
Well..running about on time today with not getting out of bed til 6:30…slept all the way through the night without getting up and I guess not sleeping at all Monday night had something to do with that…or maybe getting two rides in outdoors did it….still feel pretty worn out with the news of my medical problems yesterday but what can you do? Other than the rides, I didn’t get anything done yesterday and I only have the grocery runs to do today,,,it looks like we may get a winter storm tomorrow night with 5 inches of snow and high winds and I really hope that’s the end of it for this year…the temps are going to fall into the 20’s for a couple of days but it looks like the snow will melt over the next week…that’s my hope anyway….I do have some time to kill before the grocery run so I’m going to just sit here and read some news looking for topics for more of these later…it looks like the rides will be inside today with the little icon at the bottom of the screen saying “wind” and I can hear it’s blowing out there already….but it will probably only be one today with feeling as I do right now….not much to do today…just the grocery runs and then back here for the rest of the coffee…I do have to cook something since I only have leftover chili in the fridge….maybe some of the chicken thighs I’m getting at Meijers? Some motion…
Well…you know how many times I have expressed my frustration that the idiot trump is still roaming around free when the evidence of his crimes is piled so high you can’t see over it…but, there seems to be some motion going on with special counsel Jack Smith and his investigation into the idiot trump’s stealing government documents…and it was just revealed that trump had ordered some of the top secret stuff digitized and it was found on the computer of an aide along with a thumb drive they found at the tacky golf club he calls home…and this digitization just make it easier for idiot boy to sell state secrets as I’m sure he and Kushner have already done…how else does the Saudi sovereign wealth fund give Kushner 2 billion dollars…is it thanks for giving MBS a list of his opponents so he could kill them and ascend to power? Whatever it is, I found it funny this weekend when ABC news asked one of the repub idiots running the investigations into Hunter Biden whey they haven’t investigated trump and kushner when the stench of corruption follows them around like a puppy…and this moron just sputtered and left…geez…

Well…as you know, I had an appointment with a urologist this morning to check out a lump in my prostate and when I asked her after the exam what she thought, she is pretty sure we are going to find cancer when they do the biopsy at the end of March….one good thing is that they have refined the biopsy procedure so they only have to poke me twice to get what they need to confirm it…I do like this doctor so that is a a good thing…very friendly and outgoing…she didn’t really feel concerned, though, since 95% of prostate cancer is slow growing and is normally localized so those are good odds….and we’ll figure out what the treatment plan will be in April…oh, well…
February 14th
Well…that sucked…only slept about 3 hours last night and tossed and turned enough to hurt myself overnight…and I need to get ready for the urologist appointment at 8….I was good last night and feel pretty good this morning so I guess that’s something…had an okay day yesterday with having lunch with T and a lot of laughs and it was nice to be out for a bit…still uncomfortable going out and sitting indoors and I won’t be doing that again anytime soon…started to get a ride in outdoors yesterday since they said the wind was only about 7 but when I suited up and got out, it was blowing around 20 on the point and the temp had dropped 5 degrees so I gave up at only 4 miles…and today looks like I’ll be riding indoors with a gale warning in effect out here…winds of 20-30 and gusts of up to 45…but it is going to be 50 so that is nice…but it is going to get cold again…like it should be in Feb, for the next couple of weeks but that gets us to March and I have my fingers crossed that it will turn into spring soon…not much to do today…just the doctor’s appointment and then at least one ride….will try for two after not riding yesterday…should be back here by 9 or so and then I’ll have more coffee and figure out the day….more later….
The Georgia grand jury report to be released today…
Well..it looks like the crap is about to hit the fan since a judge in Georgia ruled that parts of the GJ’s investigation can be released to the public…and I think Fani Willis gets the charging recomendations with this release so if I’m one of trump’s cronies that testified and had anything to do with trying to “find” 12,000 votes, I’d be making a run for it right now…I feel pretty confident that there will be charges from this investigation since the decision on indictments have been “imminent” for a couple of weeks and how can there not be when idiot boy is on tape committing the crime? Yeah, I know, we have all been predicting that the idiot is going to be charged for years now but I have hope that this is going to be the time it is going to happen…fingers crossed…
February 13th
Well…running a little late today with not getting out of bed until after 7…and I’m feeling quite worn out this morning with only eating a bowl of chili and a small slider burger and doing 15 miles outside on the bike…it looks like I’ll get an outdoor ride in again today and tomorrow but then back downstairs with the temps falling back into the 30’s for the rest of the week…but it’s still going to be above freezing so I guess that’s good…maybe no snow for the rest of the winter? Didn’t get anything done yesterday but get my pre doctor’s appointment check in done and that had a 5 page questionaire that I had to fill out and I realized that I don’t have any symptoms of prostate disease at all…and, at my age, that’s a good thing….I do have to clean a bit today and get some meals planned…have to look in the freezer to see what is in there…have had a lot of burger lately so I need some chicken or maybe some pasta….but not til tomorrow since I have enough burger and chili for today…I can’t believe I get 6 burgers out of a pound…not much to do today…just going to take it easy for a while and then go down for a ride just in case I can’t get outside today….the medical stuff starts tomorrow so no cocktails tonight and I go into survival mode until the middle of March….oh, well….more later…
A pretty good day…so far…
Well…have had a pretty good day so far with having fresh coffee, Man U winning, and getting an outdoor ride in on a Sunday when I normally take the day off…and I saw a pair of Bald Eagles flying along the shoreline of Muskegon Lake when I was going by…probably wouldn’t have noticed them but a family was standing on the trail trying to get a video so I wanted to see what the were looking at and looked up…pretty cool to see….now I’m just going to take it easy for the rest of the day and maybe watch the super bowl later….
