Well…yeah, I stole that line from Buffalo Springfield but it truly is descriptive of the idiot trump’s behavior yesterday on another one of his tacky golf courses…all day we saw the idiot and his cronies driving golf carts, without golf clubs, all over the course where they would stop and get out of them to stand around in a group while trump was talking to them…can you say obstruction of justice going on in plain sight? His paranoia of being bugged has exploded to the point where he is using mobster tactics just like gotti did when he thought he was being bugged…and one of the funniest takes on his behavior came from Steven Van Zant who played a mobster in the Sopranos and posted a photo on twitter of he and his fellow actors from the show on the golf course captioned “at least we brought golf clubs” and that made me laugh out loud…and I really do think trump should be paranoid with the report that 40 subpoenas went out last week to much of his inner circle to do with trying to overturn the 2020 election…hey, idiot boy, maybe you should hide in a bunker like saddam hussein did…they are coming for you…tick tock….
September 13th
Well…not sure if it was getting the vaccine or what but I didn’t get out of bed until 6:48 this morning and I still hurt a bit…but it’s better than last night so I’ll take it…but it is a little weird that the pain in the vaccination site is mirrored in my right arm…and that amuses me….and I forgot to hit the button on the coffee maker after I loaded it last night so I’m only on my first cup of coffee and I’m going to need more before getting on the bike…I wonder if the chills I had last night are from the vaccine or it just being cold? Whatever it was, I put my sweats and socks on to be comfortable and that reminded me that fall is coming and I don’t mind that at all…read an article about the details of the development that is going to happen on the point and it looks like it is going to be pretty cool with lots of public spaces for fishing and boating…and they are going to start on it next year…man, this is going to be a nice community with all the work being done…almost a billion dollars of improvements in the next 5 years along the lake…and selfishly, it is going to make my house worth much more in that time…it could be worth 200 grand by the time I die….hmmmm….darn…this should have been a separate one….not much to do today….need to get out on the bike here in a couple of minutes but I really don’t have much than that to do today…I did fix my bike riding hat with some velcro yesterday after the adjusting strap rotted through from sweat and whenever I come up with something like that it makes me feel that I still have capability even though I’m just so damn old….I sure need to eat more today after just a small chunk of ribs and some tomatoes yesterday…but I’m not sure what that would be…more later….
John Robert’s whining tour…
Well…it looks like SC chief justice John Roberts got his fee fees hurt from the protestors outside the supreme court there to voice their displeasure with the court taking rights away from more than 50% of the country when the gutted roe…and he is whining and whining about it saying that people shouldn’t do that just because they don’t agree with any court ruling. Yeah…pretty damn tone deaf when he allowed alito to reach back before the constitution was even written and use the ranting of a witch burner as justification for taking away rights for the first time in the history of the court…and Johnny boy, you fully supported ignoring settle law and precedent when he did that…and you are a grown man whining like a little kid when someone doesn’t like you acting like a frickin king and criticizes you… and you have telegraphed you are going to let the right wing hacks on your court continue to try to come for voting rights as you did when you wrote the opinion gutting the voting rights act saying that “racism no longer exists in this country” so the VRA is no longer needed…so quit your whining…you did this to the court…you engineered this collapse of the legitimacy of the court and you still allow Thomas the seditionist to sit on the court as his wife tried to overthrow the government…so just quit your bitching until you fix the damage you’ve done…geez…
Fully boosted again….
Well…with over 500 people dying every day from the Omicron variant of covid, it still seems a pretty dangerous sickness and I was waiting for the new double booster to be available that would address both of them….and it was announced late last week that it was available along with the flu vaccine that will address the bad flu they have been fighting in the southern hemisphere…so yesterday, I scheduled an appointment at Meijers to get both of them…and got that done this morning at 9:30…not a lot of side effects from either of them other than my shoulder is a little sore…about like it was when I got the last booster in March and not nearly as bad as the original vaccine hurt when it went all the way down my arm and into my left hand….so we’ll see how it goes for the rest of the day….it does feel good to get that behind me and I’ll continue to do whatever it takes to not get that damn disease…
September 12th
Well…it’s uncanny how consistent waking up has been for me…today it was 5:07 but I was able to go back to sleep for an hour or so and that was a win….I seem to have slept okay but still feel a little worn out and that seems to be another new normal….I really, really need the coffee to work….have an appointment this morning at Meijers to get my latest covid booster and a flu shot but I need to get a ride in before that so I have about 30 mins to get on the bike…we did get lots of rain out here yesterday and it is going to be cool with a high of about 67 today so it will be perfect to get to work on the house…I probably should take the rest of the garden out today to put the bag out for pickup tomorrow but I want to cut down the flowers from the back of the house, too, so I may wait another week since they are still alive…not going to pull them out by the roots since some of them are perennials and I didn’t keep track of what ones are so I’ll have to wait til spring to see that….and I need to get more bags from menards to be ready for the leaves….not much to do today…just going to get my vaccines and then get the second ride in after that….then I’m going to prep for work and hope to get the bathroom door off and get the hinges in the stripper….baby steps….more later…
Busy day…
Well…damn, I thought today was going to be easier than it has been with the rain that came in but I had a bunch of new stuff to do…had to fill out the forms for the UK trip next year and was on the phone with my daughter for 2 1/2 hours just shooting the bull…and then I had to get my latest new vaccine booster and flu shot scheduled…tomorrow at 9:30 AM for both and that will be out of the way….and now I’m just going to sit here and listen to the rain and watch a race….and maybe take a nap…still at a pretty big sleep deficit and I’m starting to feel it today….
The repubs need to shut the hell up about 9/11…
Well…on this anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, we have all the damn repubs out there going on and on about how terrible the attacks were and that they appreciate the armed forces and what they do about protecting “freedom” here…and that it was the worst attack int he history of the country…you know what? Shut the hell up repubs…it was your president who fomented the January 6th attack and all of you supported trying to overturn the election and your continuing effort to keep half of the country from voting…that is a worse attack than 9/11 and if you had your way, there would be no democracy to protect and not a damn one of you chastised the idiot trump for stealing and selling national secrets that has gotten people killed all over the world…so just shut the hell up unless you are willing to stop attacking this country and support free and fair elections for everyone…and stop attacking every woman in this country with your bullshit….I just don’t want to hear a thing from you anymore…you are no different than the 9/11 attackers….geez…
September 11th
Well…Damn, this is getting annoying…another 4:51 morning but I feel okay and I think I can live with it…until I can’t….I’ve been watching the rain coming for two days now and it appears it’s going to fall apart before it gets here…that sucks since we really do need the rain….so that means I’ll be out on the bike as soon as it gets light to get one ride in before the F1 race from Monza….and then maybe the rain will get here and I’ll have the rest of the day off to watch football and races….didn’t get anything done yesterday and I may start on the bathroom door and frame today but who knows? I did try the pork ribs I got the other day and they are pretty good…at least worth the 1.19 a pound I paid for them and I’ll have another slab today along with a big salad for dinner…with only one ride today, I’ll have to cut back the food I eat a bit but just doing the salad for dinner should cover that…I was so sore from the waist down on the bike yesterday and I can’t figure that out…my right thigh has been sore all summer but this was different….my back, hips, and even my achilles all hurt and that may be just from the fatigue from doing 4300 miles so far this year…it doesn’t look like I’m going to get to 6050 this year for a new record but that’s okay…just haven’t felt like doing the 45 to 60 mile runs that it would take to get there…after all, I’m getting old but there is more to it than that…losing all motivation doesn’t help and it has been a struggle all summer…it’s become less fun and I don’t know what I’ll do when I get so bored with it that I don’t want to ride at all….I guess we’ll see….not much to do today…just need to get on the bike here in a minute and then hope the rain comes to make the second ride decision moot…more later…

Well…I know a lot of you are just as frustrated as I am that the idiot trump has not been indicted yet but I think we all need to take a deep breath and take a look at what is known about the multiple cases against him that are meandering through the justice system…not only the theft of government documents (and the probable sale of them)…the election interference in Georgia is still moving with the court ruling that Lindsey Graham has to testify in front of the grand jury and the governor and others who have already testified just recently so that information needs to be incorporated into any indictment but it is moving…oh, and let’s remember that his former number 2 in the trump organization has recently flipped so they will get a lot of info from him that will be used for any indictment of trump…then we have as a part of the January 6th investigation the fake electors scheme that just had a bunch of new subpoenas go out the end of the week so that is moving forward, too…so, as much as we want to see idiot boy perp walked, let’s not lose hope…oh, one last thing, a video has just surfaced that showed trump and his minions moving a boatload of boxes out of his tacky Florida club right after the subpoena was filed for the records he stole….so, as I said earlier, every damn property of his should be searched, especially since the DOJ is sure he still has records he stole that were not found in Florida…so get on it DOJ…this should have happened yesterday….geez…
September 10th
Well…damn, straight to coffee this morning with not getting out of bed til 7:19 and it is strange getting out of the normal routine…need to get out on the bike in the next ten minutes if I’m going to be done before F1 qualifying at 10….so this whole morning is going to be a rush and I need to get going…had an okay day yesterday with the last beach day but I was exhausted all day and that is the reason I stayed in bed so late this morning…and that may happen again tomorrow with the rain that is coming in…I may even have a day off and I think my body could use that….so damn sore and nothing will help that other than rest…I did get the ribs in a marinade last night and I am looking forward to trying some of them…and I need to make a big salad for the second meal today with the head of lettuce that has been in the fridge since last week…would hate to see it go bad before I use it…and I have tomatoes that need to be used so I may even just slice a few up and use the new hot sauce I’m starting to like a lot….not much to do today…need to get going right now if I’m going to meet my schedule for the day but I don’t feel like it….sure wish it would rain right now….more later…
