Well….after the attack on our country and the proper dem response that idiot boy needs to be impeached…again…and that process starting Monday, the repub talking point is that another impeachment so close to trump leaving office will “further divide” the nation and trump should be let off for his part in this treason. This is coming from many of the ringleaders who spent every damn day since the election trying to cheat and overturn the election by lies and deceit and supporting the very terrorists who attacked the capitol…and the dems doing their necessary job of protecting the country from trump is going to “divide” the country? None of these assholes have a thing to say about dividing the country that anyone should listen too…after all, they spent the last 4 years trashing the country by supporting every illegal thing that idiot boy has done and still has to do in the 11 days he has left in office…and they still support him even after he tried to overthrow the government by violence that put their lives in danger…so, we don’t need to listen to a damn thing they say our side has to do…they are all hypocrites and have forfeited any respect that they may have had…if they ever had any….geez…
January 9th
Well…running a little late this morning with being able to roll over and go back to sleep after waking up at 4:14…and 5:24….but, I feel okay so I guess I must have slept okay….I’m still wondering when there is going to be even a little healing for my right heel…my whole foot aches from walking only on the ball and that pain is now in my knee and hip, too…it felt better late in the day yesterday and I could walk on it a little but it always gets worse overnight after not walking on it…how weird is that? Oh, well…didn’t get out on the bike yesterday and there was no reason for it other than I didn’t want to be cold…and it is only 15 out there right now so any ride today is going to happen in the afternoon…I did go down to one meal yesterday to compensate and I wonder how that is going to affect me later today….I did need to cut out the bike riding calories to try to maintain my weight and will do it again today…but I wonder if a couple of spoons of roasted potatoes and a pork chop is enough? Didn’t get anything else done but run an errand to get my mega tickets…couldn’t resist with the jackpot over 500 mil and a cash value of over 400….gave me a day to dream….more later….

Well…don’t let them bullshit you that the attack on the capital buildings wed was a spontaneous “grass roots” protest of the election….as more and more information comes out, it is clear that this attack was planned and organized by trump and his cronies…and the non response by the pentagon, prohibiting the national guard from being in place and ready to respond, was part of the plan and was executed by the trump toadies who were installed at the Pentagon after idiot boy fired the professionals there. How else would trump, his sons, and other conspirators just happen to have a war room with live video of the attack that trump watched with glee as it was going on…then next thing that needs to be exposed is if there was command and control communication going on from trumps toadies to the attackers…and if that is not treason, treason doesn’t exist. This conspiracy also exposed the troubling connection between the police and the fascist right wingers as the capital police just let the attackers through and even pointed out where to go as the attack started…pulling barricades aside so they could get through easier and just watching as the capital was ransacked….now, there were a few officers who did their duty and one of them even died from being beaten…so now I think we need to bring murder or accessory to murder charges against trump and his cronies since they basically told these assholes to attack and were okay with any tactics they used. So, prosecutors…what the hell are you going to do about this? Probably nothing until Joe takes over on the 20th…then this crap won’t be ignored or encouraged as the justice department is doing now…the new people there will go back to the traditional role of the department…to follow the evidence, indict, and try everyone involved….these laughing goons have gotten away with this crap too long…not much longer…geez…
January 8th
Well….running a little late today after waking up at 6 or so and not having any motivation to get started…but, I’m here now so let’s go….crap…my damn heel has split up the side of my foot now and that restarts the healing clock…I was really hoping that the week it normally takes to heal would be over this weekend but, with this new crack, it looks like I’ve got another week of limping around….it appears I slept okay because I woke up with my shoulder hurting and that means I slept on my right one all night with little tossing and turning…but I still feel pretty slow right now and will need boatloads of coffee to fix that….I did get an 8 mile ride in yesterday but the trails are still snow covered so it was all on the street and that’s where I’ll be today when I get out…but, that won’t come til later today since it is in the 20’s out there and that’s too damn cold…I do need to remember to put the trash bin and recycle bin out this morning since they are both full and I think I’ll do that right after I finish this one…didn’t get anything done yesterday…geez…that’s starting to sound like a broken record so I guess I won’t share any plans to do anything today…if I get to cleaning, I’ll report that tomorrow….more later….

Well…what the hell can you say when one of our political parties is run by a lunatic whose troglodyte followers were allowed to attack the US capital? And the idiot trump told them to do it in a speech just an hour before the attack…so, again, as I have asked many, many times in the last 4 years: “is this enough for you repubs?” Is it finally enough that treason was committed in front of your face on national tv? And then you and your colleagues were threatened by the attacks? And these thugs then broke into the capital and trashed the place…and it is all on cctv…so when is the FBI going to find and arrest every damn one of them? This one is quite disjointed since I am so damn outraged that trump has been allowed to spout his bullshit and egg these assholes on with no consequences…and even when the attacks were happening, idiot boy tweeted out “love you guys” as they were trashing the capitol…then, these traitors were allowed to just walk out of the capital like they had just finished taking a tour….imagine if these were BLM protestors….there would be a hundred dead and thousands in jail right now….there had better be investigations and arrests of all of them…including trump…the rule of law is hanging by a thread and inaction will cut that thread…geez…
January 7th
Well…feel a little down today with not having any luck on finding a house but I didn’t get out of bed until after 6 so I guess that’s something…I don’t know when I’ve had a heel crack last this long but I’m still hobbling around in pain this morning and it doesn’t seem to be getting much better…will have to make sure to treat it twice today after the bike ride…and just hope that it will follow the normal pattern and I’ll just wake up with no pain soon….didn’t get a damn thing done yesterday but look at the house and I don’t feel like doing much right now but I’m hoping I’ll get some motivation later on and get started packing my stuff up and cleaning…I do have to do one later on about the right wing attack on the capital yesterday and the apparent collusion with the capital police that made it happen but that’s for later…I think today is going to be a day to take it easy and just get a bike ride in when it gets light since it is 33 and is just going to get colder all day…and I need to get my miles in with a double after not riding yesterday…but not until lots more coffee and reading more news….more later…

Well…let’s get back to the real world and talk about the Georgia senate elections for a bit…as you can tell by the title, it looks like we won both of them and that means that moscow mitch is no longer going to be able to continue to damage this country with his packing of the courts with unqualified right wing judges and obstruction of the relief package that is needed to get this country to recover from the covid pandemic. We can all thank trump for this great turn of events with his bullshit rants about voting fraud and even discouraging repub voters from turning out. This means that Joe will get his cabinet picks confirmed, he will get tons of judges confirmed and we may even get DC statehood which would give us two more dem senators and shut the repubs out for long time with the favorable senate map for 2022 for the dems. So, bad day on the house front but a good day for our country….and I can take that…

Well…just got back from running out to look at the house in Ionia and it doesn’t look good…the whole house is trashed and looks like it hasn’t been taken care of in 20 years…and the garage is full of trash along with the house…just loads and loads of work to be done and boatloads of money to be put into it…and unless I can get it for around 80k, I don’t think the financials will work…it is on a huge lot on a hill in a quiet neighborhood but with the asking at 109K, I don’t think there is any way I can get there…oh, well…
January 6th
Well…didn’t sleep at all last night with all of the happenings…a new grandchild, maybe a new house, and the dems took back the senate with wins in two seats in Georgia…so I woke up at 4:22 and didn’t get back to sleep but this time it’s okay….I sure hope this house is going to be the one…and there is another house in Ionia that is for sale at 96K that doesn’t need any work at all but it’s right in town and I’m not sure I’d want to live there…going to have my brother do a drive by when we are out there just to take a look at it…of course I didn’t get anything done yesterday and today will be the same with all of the traveling and with Man U playing City in the semi finals of the league cup this afternoon…I am going to try to get a bike ride in today after I get back from looking at houses…it hasn’t been bad riding in the streets but I think I’ll go out and take a look at the trails to see what condition they are in….I am pretty excited that today could be the day all of the stress of house hunting and moving is gone…the we go into the stress of applying for a loan and getting the closing done but I should have enough time to make it and only move once…that would be cool….more later…

Well…just got a text from my middle son that my granddaughter was born tonight….and he sent me the coolest video that he took….my son said “hello Lily” and she answered him with a little baby noise….I have tears in my eyes tonight….I’ve been damn lucky to have such great kids that are such nice people….life is okay….can’t wait to meet her….
