Well…I guess that could be considered “sleeping in” for me…didn’t get up til 7:23 and slept through the night without getting up once and I don’t know how I feel about that…I should feel better but I guess having a couple of cocktails last night offset it…..still feel pretty slow this morning…I did have some dreams last night that had a falcon 9 landing in them and I’m not sure what that had to do for the story but I was really close when it happened so it was cool…and the rocket was damn big from up close…did a total veg yesterday and yes, I am feeling guilty about that…should have cleaned some but just didn’t feel that hot most of the day and I’m not sure what that was about other than not eating enough…feel that way again this morning…a little…so I am going to ease into it…forgot to hit the button on the coffee maker last night so the coffee was cold when I got up and even 45 secs in the microwave didn’t get it hot enough for me…ick….didn’t even ride the bike yesterday and I may have to take the day off today, too, with the wind blowing 20 or so right now and it being really cold…maybe later in the day…right now I just need coffee and to try to read the news a little….more later..
I probably should eat more…
Well…sitting here in the cold gloomy dark of the living room this afternoon and I am feeling exhausted and crappy…now, I think I know why I feel exhausted…I mean half a chicken breast and two bowls of turkey soup just isn’t enough to support riding 20 miles yesterday…and I started out today with the same problem with only having a small piece of smoked sausage and a handful of chips for lunch…and I am planning a dinner of the other half of the chicken breast and a handful of baked fries so it looks like I’ll be down around 1200 calories again today…but, if I try to eat more, I feel like I’ve eaten a Buick and am so uncomfortable that it hurts to just sit here. Hmmmm…and the allergies don’t help at all with the damn headache that I’ve had for weeks and that takes a lot out of me…okay, that’s enough bitching…I guess I should do something about it, huh? I did take an aspirin about an hour ago that has helped some but I can’t take any allergy stuff right now since I’m only allowed one a day and I’ll need that later to be able to breathe as I try to sleep…I wonder if this is what it is like to grow old? If it is, it sucks…oh, well…..

Well….as the idiot in chief continues his revenge tour by replacing everyone that he can in the government, I really wish he would just go away…with the virus rampaging through the country at the highest levels since the pandemic started earlier in the year and idiot boy actively doing his best to sabotage Joe’s attempts to get started on doing what the idiot refuses by ordering his minions to not cooperate with Joe’s transition team, I wish he would just go away and let the competent people who care about the country and Americans work on controlling the virus. Look, I think trump is just too stupid to understand that all of the changes he is making and all of the people he is appointing will be fired on January 20th at about 1pm, right after Joe is sworn in so why doesn’t trump just go to one of his ugly golf courses and stay there until then? He is the just worthless and never really did the job of president anyway….just go away and leave us frickin alone….
November 15th
Well…running a little late this morning and it’s just that I was a little distracted with the F1 race and MotoGP starting in a few minutes and reading all the news already…I did sleep better last night and didn’t get up til almost 6…when it got to 5:44 I gave up trying and just got up…and that’s okay since I slept with strange, strange dreams and that means I got into deep sleep that I haven’t been able to do for a few days…I am thinking about getting out for a ride since there is a dry slot that is coming over right now and the rain will be stopping for a couple of hours or so…and it is about 50 out there right now so I should take advantage of it even though I had planned for today to be an off day….still having the problems with thighs hurting like crazy at the end of the ride and that is new so I’m not sure why that would be…not going any harder than normal so I am a little confused….didn’t get anything done yesterday but really didn’t have to so I think I may be able to keep the guilts at bay today…don’t really have much to do today, either, but clean and I should do the kitchen so that will be the plan for the day…but it’s still early so I guess I can take it easy for a bit and watch the race first…more later….
Good news from Michigan…
Well….how about we dispense with politics for a minute and talk about something else that is really important to the people of Michigan? Yesterday, governor Whitmer revoked the easement for Enbridge’s line 5 oil pipeline that runs under the Straits of Mackinac and that means that it must be shut down in 180 days…and that is good news for us here since the majority of our drinking water comes from Lake Michigan and Lake Huron and any oil spill in the straits would pollute both lakes and crash our economy. A couple of years ago, we came so close to that spill when a barge dragged it’s anchor across the dual pipelines and it was only by luck that the lines were only dented and not ruptured but how much luck can we count on with pipelines that were installed the year I was born…and I’m really old? Now Embridge has proposed digging a tunnel lined with concrete to put the lines in but why? It’s the reason why there is no offshore oil drilling allowed in the Great Lakes…that any spill would cause damage that the lakes may never recover from and the economic disruption would be catastrophic to the people of Michigan…and all so an oil company who is responsible for the worst oil spill in Michigan history can continue to rake in profits while they put the state at risk? I applaud Governor Whitmer’s tough stance to protect the environment and the people of Michigan…and now we have a dem controlled supreme court that will follow the law and protect Michigan from business that doesn’t give a damn about anything but profit…
November 14th
Well….that was a little better…didn’t wake up til 5:34 and was able to get back to sleep for about an hour so I’ll take it after yesterday…and I don’t feel too bad right now…felt just exhausted yesterday afternoon and I still haven’t figured that out yet and I hope that doesn’t happen again today…I did get out for a 20 miler yesterday and had a weird thing happen when the fronts of my thighs hurt like crazy for the last 6 miles and that never happens….it was cold enough to go out in almost full thermasuit and was pretty damn cold when I got back here that lasted most of the afternoon….I think I still haven’t shifted to be used to the cold yet and I hope it happens soon…didn’t get out to shoot pool with some concerns about covid and that was the smart thing to do but it would be nice to have a few things get back to normal…I guess that won’t happen until there is a vaccine available….didn’t get much done yesterday but put the trash out and that got rid of all of the garden refuse so the cleanup on the yard is complete…I may rake some more of the leaves in the back yard after the rest of them are down but those will just be composted behind the garage….not much to do today…going to just wait out the weather and let it warm up before I even think about getting out and watch some football later….more later…
Rats, meet sinking ship…
Well…with no pool shooting today due to covid concerns, I though I’d come here and do a short one on more rats deserting the sinking ship of trump…just over the past two days, two law firms that were working on the trump delusion that he could overturn the legal results of the election have quit…in both PA and Arizona, two different firms have asked to allowed to withdraw from any further legal action on the part of trump as he flails around and just won’t accept that he lost by the largest amount of votes in history…and part of the reason for these withdrawals is the public shaming of these companies by a lot of organizations the shone a light on their anti American activities and made sure their other clients knew what they were doing…I wonder who trump will get now? Barry the ambulance chaser? Or I wonder if he will get Rudy to do it? Whoever they find, the new firms will be worse than the ones that just quit and those firms were 0-15 so I really don’t think this is going anywhere…and you know I think it’s just a grift anyway…a way to squeeze a few more dollars out of the rubes…I wonder how many rats there still are on the trumptanic?
November 13th
Well…that just sucked…up at 3:34 and then had the hardest time getting back to sleep…think it took til almost 5 but I guess I slept until almost 6:30 but that is just not enough…oh, well…slept on my right thumb that has arthritis in it and woke up with howling pain in it that did go away for the most part….it is going to hurt playing pool later…and that is cool…I am going out to play pool this morning and it will be the first time in months I’ve been out of here for something other than groceries or supplies to work on this house…and it looks like another lockdown is coming with the virus exploding here in Michigan and across the country…I guess that what we get when a lazy moron gets elected…okay, no politics here…I did get a nice bike ride in yesterday and did almost 20 miles but I won’t get out today with it raining right now and I never go out after having a couple shooting pool so I’ll have to wait til tomorrow…I am really trying to not feel guilty about not getting out after getting to my goals and with the pain I’ve been in lately….my legs just need some rest…but that means I’m back to eating only one meal a day to compensate for less riding…not much to do today…pool at 10 and then I think I’ll take the rest of the day off and just take it easy…I can use a day off….more later…

Well…there has been massive speculation on why the idiot trump has knee capped every head of the military and the IC since he lost the election last week…but there really isn’t any need to speculate…it’s clear that this is just another tactic to cover up his incompetence and wrongdoing and to hit back at critics and try to prove that Russia didn’t help him in 2016. The people he replaced, the sec def and others, were mildly competent and had shown that they would buck him in certain instances…as Esper did when he resisted putting troops in the streets to attack peaceful protesters in DC…and I’m sure they would have resisted the wholesale destruction of records that trump is counting on his new toadies to carry out before Jan 20th…you only have to look back at the entirety of idiot boy’s term where they wouldn’t even provide any information even under subpoena since they knew it would reveal lawbreaking across trump’s entire administration…so those records have to go even though that would be breaking even more laws…which I don’t get since once Joe takes over, all of this criminality will be exposed and these new toadies will be exposed to jail time. So, a coup? Nope, just trump covering his ass while he still can…
November 12th
Well…that was another night of okay sleep but I wonder when I’m going to start feeling better from it…still feel so damn worn out even without riding yesterday that I’m beginning to think I may be getting old…that can’t be it…had some strange dreams again and that is one bright spot of sleeping a little better and this one had all people I didn’t know and lots of pizza in it…and I was going on a group ride that I never do…strange….I wonder if I should order pizza? I did get some cleaning done yesterday and should do the kitchen today and I just might since it is only 29 outside and that is means I’ll have to wait to get on the bike until this afternoon….just don’t want to do full thermasuit just yet but I guess I’m going to have to sometime…after all, I did put jeans on the last time it was cold and I usually wait to do that until t-day….I think it was a good thing to take a day off riding…my right knee was starting to get sore and I am having pain in my foot that isn’t the gout coming back so maybe I need to take it a little easier…not much to do today…just cleaning and looking for houses…I did see a nice one in Hastings for only 118K that doesn’t even need any work and I may just take a run down there and take a look at it…I am a little limited of how far out I can go since I do need cable internet…I should have something picked out by the end of the month…I hope…more later
