Well….with the idiot trump and his stupid mini trump governors plowing ahead with “opening” the country in complete disregard of the science that says we are nowhere close to being able to do that safely, and with the new meme that the right is pushing that people need to be “warriors” and put their lives at risk to get profit flowing back into the pockets of the 1%, I find it so damn funny…or ironic that while the little people are being told to put their fears of dying aside and get back to work, a WH aide went on fox “news” the other day to decry that going to work was “scary” and that he was a he-man for doing it….never mind that everyone going into the WH is tested every day and their treatment is the best in the country if they do get sick, it is still almost too “scary” to keep going to work…but meat packers? Nope, working shoulder to shoulder doing backbreaking work for little pay in place where upwards to 90% of the workers get sick…but you know what they don’t do? Go on fox news to whine about it…that is the typical repub, folks…any little danger that they personally have to face is the worst thing in the world and they are “heroes” for doing it…everyone else? Another busy day…
Well…the damn stimulus check came today! It was supposed to be direct deposit but somehow the morons in charge screwed that up….and that was going to be a problem depositing the check with my bank having closed all of the in person banking….I had completely forgotten about drive through banking and just sat here saying duh….so I jumped in the car and ran out to the bank and got that done with no waiting…and now I have to try to figure out how to make sure any others are direct deposit…but it’s not too much of a pain to do the paper checks so no big deal…the day started out with getting out to Menards to get garden supplies and got them all with no problem there, either…even got my tomato cages for only 95 cents each so I bought 20 of them…should have enough for the overflow garden, too…and I noticed the first bean plant is coming up in the overflow garden so maybe the seeds I planted there will work…and I have at least one of those downstairs too, along with all of my sunflowers so I know I’ll have at least 8 of them….oh, and I got two bike rides in today too….I may wait to plant the tomatoes until Friday since we are supposed to get thunderstorms Thursday and I don’t want to chance hurting them when they are just transplanted….but right now, it’s 3 and I need to take a few minutes off…and to look for a political topic….more later….

Well….it appears that 4:45 is the new, standard wake up time and I’m not sure what I think about that….I knew it was going to happen so I was tempted to take an otc sleeping pill just to try to break that cycle but I’ve gotten out of that habit so I think I’ll just take the 5 hours and call it a win….and yesterday was the second day with no allergy meds since I’m trying to make them last a while but I don’t feel too bad so no damage so far….I do have to try to eat more…two days of one meal a day made the bike ride torture with running out of steam about 3 miles in…the excess wind didn’t help either and I felt so bad yesterday afternoon that I had to hit the couch for an hour or so…I guess I do need more than a thousand calories a day to support my activities…and I’ll be going back to double rides today so I think I need to get started on eating something soon…still have some homemade bread to toast this morning and I do need to get some fruit this week since I need to eat healthier and I do like oranges and apples….I am going out this morning to try to get my garden supplies so I can plant tomorrow or Thursday and I am not looking forward to it…shopping has become a pain lately and I just want it over….not much to do today…just the shopping and then some outside work after the first ride….the grass seed I put in the front is sprouting and filling in the bare spots and that is cool…and I still have some seed left to fill some of the back yard, too…more later….
The “hoax” invades the WH…
Well…I would laugh but I won’t enjoy anyone being exposed to this damn virus…but there is a little irony in the fact that the coronavirus has reached the WH with at least two confirmed positive cases there and quite a few people going into self-isolation with their exposure to those people….but, the idiot pair of pence and trump still refuse to wear masks since neither one of them understand how the virus is transmitted with the idiot in chief commenting that he was “surprised” that a person can test negative for a long time and then all of a sudden they are positive…cripes, that’s how viruses work you moron….and today, idiot boy is having another one of his fascist rally/virus presentation photo ops in the Rose Garden when he doesn’t have a clue who may be carrying the virus…and it can be spread before it shows up on the test…but he is too stupid to understand that so on he goes…putting more people at risk just so he can get his ego fluffed and showing just how much he doesn’t care about anyone but himself…he just needs to be gone….
May 11th
Well…that was a mistake…didn’t take any allergy meds before bed last night and I am miserable this morning with all of the usual symptoms but even worse than normal…so, I am going to suffer all day until I can take something tonight as I need to make the meds last a while…what a pain in the butt…and I didn’t sleep either so I am grumpy today…and feeling like crap….I did get two rides in yesterday and that is the only thing I did all day other than cook…but today is going to be a one ride day with the temp only getting up to 50 or so and feeling so worn out….I may get out to start prepping the trim on the front and side of the front porch so I can paint it later in the week when it warms up but I may just wait until it warms up Wednesday…I do need to get out to get my tomato cages tomorrow along with some potting soil so I can get at planting Thursday with the end of the frost…I did have the first couple of garlic plants come up in the overflow garden yesterday but something is digging in it and I found black sunflower seed shells all over it that must have been buried there before I planted…weird….not much to do today…coffee, coffee, and more coffee first and then I’ll just ease into the day…don’t have the energy to do much else….more later…
The toddler in the WH is having a sad…
Well…the poor baby squatting in the WH is having a sad over his sinking electoral prospects and is moping around because no one is doing anything about it…he’s not having a sad because 80,000 Americans have died from his incompetence and bungling…nope, that would need idiot boy having empathy for anyone but himself and we all know he doesn’t….and he has made the choice to stop any federal response to the virus since that would emphasize that he is a lying sack of shit who is killing almost 3,000 Americans every damn day. The new plan for repubs in general is to deflect from their part in this massacre by leaving trump in office when he was clearly guilty and incompetent….and blaming everything on China and Obama if you can believe it…and they are even going back the old chestnut of Russia’s proven interference in installing trump was nothing but a hoax…and idiot boy tweeted over 120 times just today…and not one thing about 80,000 dead, just conspiracy theories and hate…not something that a sane person would do. So, I’m happy that this frickin moron is having a sad…hey trumpy bear, you ain’t never seen sad until your sorry ass is out of office and in jail…NY state is still coming for you and there is not a damn thing you can do about it…

Well…okay, that was early…running a little late today with getting out on the bike by 7:10 to try to beat the rain and almost did…it was spitting rain the whole 15 miles but I didn’t get too wet and it was over 48 so I could even go out in shorts….but that hot shower really felt good since the temp was borderline…feels good to get a ride in that early but I’m not sure if there will be a second one today with rain supposed to be on an off all day…but, we’ll see….slept okay last night and didn’t get out of bed til 6 but woke up at 4:30 and then tried to sleep again without much success…so crap…that only means 5 hours or so of sleep and we’re getting back to that again…I did just notice that my left shoulder is not hurting anywhere near as much as it had been but I think the tendonitus moved over to my right elbow since that hurts and is stiff again…I do have two of the garlic cloves that I planted that have sprouted but none of the other seeds I planted have yet…but with upper 60′s to 70 weather coming, I think I’ll get some of them to grow….I do have to get out to depot this week to get my tomato cages and some potting soil to put some plants in buckets in the back yard and that needs to happen before I plant Thursday with the weather breaking for good and the nighttime temps over 40 from there on out….didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today looks the same but I am going to make a pizza for lunch since I was able to find yeast this week…and how I make them, they really are pretty healthy…I even use turkey pepperoni so there is no fat in it all…and the rest of it is just veggies…oh, I do use real cheese so I guess that’s bad for you but I can live with that….more later…
Idiot boy is scared of the mail…
Well…the deranged squatter in the WH went off on another twitter rant today about the idea that there must be a scam involved since California lets people vote by mail…which they have for years…and he is so damn dumb and addled that he doesn’t get that Californians can vote in person, too if they want…..ranting that they opened A voting booth in a democratically controlled area so the dems just have to be cheating…cripes…project much? Look dimwit…if you had half a brain and weren’t so damn ignorant, you would know that most states have varied ways to vote…as here in Michigan where we have no reason permanent absentee voting where anyone can request an absentee ballot and they don’t need a reason to request it…due to a citizens initiative that passed in 2018 but we also have in person voting for those who want to vote that way…I know what you’re scared of with mail in voting…you even said the all too rare bit of truth when you commented that a repub would never be elected again if there is universal mail in voting….that the repubs can’t suppress or play their voter ID games with…with this asshole still squatting in the WH and spewing his ignorance, it feels like we’re all in an abusive relationship…and it is so damn tiring…can November come quickly?
Yep…I’m late…
Well…yeah, I’m really late with this one but I have been out of synch all day and I’m not sure why….the day just feels weird to me and a little off…and I lost two of the four tomato plants I had out last night even though they were double covered…I guess 24 degrees is just too much for them…and I’ll probably lose the other two in the next four days that it is going to be below freezing…but, I have four more going downstairs so I guess it’s no big deal other than I’ll be behind where I wanted to be….and I planted beans and sunflowers downstairs too just to make sure I can get them to come up…the garden is looking to be a bust along with the flowers out front but I’m only out about 10 bucks so I can live with that…my day is so screwed up I didn’t even eat lunch until 2:30 and that normally happens by noon or so…it’s hard to eat when I don’t get rides in since I can’t afford to not offset the calories with a ride…and I only did one today with the wind blowing over 20…it was really brutal out there on the way out into the wind….and it wasn’t warm enough to go out again…the cold ride this morning left me freezing all day and I am just now getting to feel warm again..okay, yeah, no political one today…again, haven’t even been able to get through the news to find a topic…and that is not me either….okay, think I have a topic….
May 9th
Well…26 degrees…in frickin May…record cold that I can’t remember ever happening before…and I’m old…that’s just depressing….but, after the next 5 days, the weather is supposed to get back to almost normal and I am going to be able to plant my veggie garden…finally…feel pretty crappy this morning after having cocktails last night but I don’t hurt as much as I did the past few days and I hope taking the day off the bike yesterday will help that too…but I am going to get out later today after it gets over 42 so I can go out without gloves or a stocking hat….used up the last of the bird food yesterday and saw something pretty cool….some young sparrows that were being fed seed by their mother on my window feeder…have never seen that before…I did have an almost no work day yesterday but it was harder than I expected…and boring, boring, boring…the day seemed like it lasted forever and my guilt about doing nothing welled up all day to the point where it wasn’t too enjoyable….so, not going to do that today…probably won’t do a lot but I will do some stuff….have cleaning and laundry to do and I may bake a loaf of bread since I was able to find yeast at Meijers and I have some bread flour that I can use….I did cover the 4 tomato plants that I have outside but they were looking pretty scraggly even before the cold so I don’t think they are going to survive it….so I planted 4 more seeds that just came up and I will be able to plant those in their place….more later….
