Well…if you’ve been looking at the news over the past week or so, you’d have seen that a SpaceX rocket blew up during fueling and the cause has not really been determined yet. Now, with the internet and lots of people with time on their hands, we have the explanation…it was aliens! A video that shows an object passing just over the top of the rocket when it explodes has been posted…and I just watched it in my Twitter feed….not sure if I would say aliens but it gave me a great laugh….wonder what the next theory will be?

Just trying…
Well…not sure why I am not creative at all when I don’t feel well but you can see it with me missing post number two the past few days….now, there is one thing that just makes me furious with my fellow Americans…over 40% of them want the idiot Trump to be president…just let that sink in for a while….that there are millions of people that have bought the fox news bs so totally that they could run a Saint Bernard and they would vote for it…..I am at a loss why that could be other than they really enjoy hate and they really do hate gays, AA’s, and anyone that has a thought that is to the left of Ghengis Khan….I wonder what it would be like to live in that world? Now, I used to be angry quite a bit, but it was a righteous anger aimed at the inequities and stupidity in the world…and mostly at the idiot GW since he did so much damage to this country…damage that would look like a tea party compared to what Trump would do…but, I got better over time and I find myself more bemused most of the time since I realize that there isn’t a damn thing I can do about anything….much easier on my psyche….
September 6th
Well…have been having a hard time coming up with topics lately and I know I need to do a better job of it…am in a little bit of a slump and I’m not sure what the deal is…oh, well….feel a little better today but I shouldn’t with going out to have a few with G yesterday….she brought me so many veggies that it is all I will be eating the rest of the week…going to make some salsa today and saute some eggplant but how many veggies can you eat without being tired of them? Got some weird long beans, too, that I have never had before so that will be something to try….spent 30 bucks this morning and got all the spices I need for the salsa…cumin and cilantro is not cheap….didn’t do much yesterday but watch races and today will be the same…it is already hot out there and I put the top down for the grocery run…almost decided to go out to the beach today with the kids going back to school…but, still don’t feel 100% so I think maybe tomorrow….more later…
September 5th
Well…still feeling pretty crappy today…and I’m not sure what is going on…all I know is that I am sweating like crazy just sitting here typing so there must be some kind of a bug…I just want it gone…and, I woke up to my left foot hurting like it has cramps…man, I’m falling apart this week….it seems like a normal Monday to me but I know it’s a holiday and I know they don’t mean much to me anymore….I did have to clean the bike yesterday so I will need to lube it up this morning before I get out…rode in the rain/sludge the other day and couldn’t get the squeak out if it with all of the sand in the swingarm….I really do need to start thinking about a new bike….not much to do today…going to do the normal stuff and then watch the drag races for a while but that is about it….
The DeVos family buy themselves a legislature…
Well…are you as damned tired of the DeVos family buying themselves laws here in Michigan as I am? Their latest interference in the basic operation of Michigan’s government came during the reform of the Detroit Public Schools that was working it’s way through the legislature in the spring, and included reform of the charter school laws that let basically any idiot start a school with no oversight. But, no, making the schools better by holding them responsible for outcomes is not part of these idiots ultra right wing, free market delusions…so, they did what they always do…they spread almost 2 million dollars around to the repubs through their charter school lobbying firm and poof, that pesky oversight was gone from the law…basically guaranteeing that the 50% of kids in Detroit who are enrolled in charter schools will get substandard educations…but, do they care? Hell no, as long as their cronies who run these for-profit schools get their cut of the tax money that supports them. Just another example where the repubs think that government is a tool to be used to push their agendas or to transfer more money from the taxpayers to the 1%…..I just hate the rich these days…they won’t even allow us to TRY to make things better for the majority….they can all go to hell….
September 4th
Well…still not feeling too hot today and that will be three days now…not sure what is going on but it has gotten really annoying…didn’t get a lot done yesterday and it looks the same for today…I do have some work to do and there are lots of races on so I think it may be a semi veg day today after the bike ride….I will go over 2K miles this morning and it looks like an average year this year…haven’t done a lot of double stints since I just don’t feel like it for some reason…not too sore today but I do need the pain killers before the bike ride since I have pain in my right forearm that feels like tendonitus…..and I don’t need to aggravate it….okay…need to get back to the F1 race and have more coffee….more later….
This isn’t equivalent…
Well….with the news media trying it’s best to gin up some scandal about the Clinton Foundation, they are ignoring a real, true scandal happening at the Trump Foundation…a scandal that, if it happened by the efforts of the Clintons, would spawn a least a dozen congressional investigations. The particulars of the Trump scandal is that they actually laundered money through the foundation to bribe the AG of Florida to drop her investigation of Trump U….and the Trump folks admitted they did it and paid a fine…now, how are these two things equivalent? The Clinton Foundation gets the highest ranking by two different organizations that rate non-profits for it’s work and transparency, while the Trump slush fund makes illegal donations (bribes) and gives money to Trump’s cronies and the media treat it if they are doing the same things….who are running these news organizations to have them act this way? I am really tired of this crap going on….where the repubs can do whatever they want and never get called on it and then the media (I’m talking to you AP) fakes “scandals” that supposedly involve dems and run with those stories….geez…

Well….man…I still feel pretty crappy today and can’t figure out what the heck is going on…oh, I did win at pool and had fun doing it….I think I may not be eating enough, again, so today there are going to be no limits on what I eat…other than the years of limiting my caloric intake…that may be hard to overcome….it is pretty cool outside so I do need to wait until after F1 qualifying to get out on the bike….but I do need to get out right after since Michigan plays at noon and I want to see that…will have to see if I can find my gear to wear…and I hope they play better than State did last night…they just looked pretty bad…I did watch the season finale of Roadies last night and I am trying to figure out what it is about the show that I like so much…might have to do one of these later to explain it…don’t have a lot to do today other than sports so I think it will be pretty much of a veg day after the bike ride and I don’t mind that….more later…
September 2nd
Well…it wasn’t a bad day yesterday other than I didn’t feel too hot all day and that is a little better today….just not eating enough and that screws everything up……I did get out to see T for a couple yesterday aft and it is always good to see her…she has lots of cool things going on at work and it was good to see her have her sparkle back again….it was kind of nice to have it in the 50′s this morning but I have to wait for the temp to come up to get out on the bike…but, I really don’t have anything to do this morning so that’s okay…going to keep it low key today…other than pool….it looks like a quite quiet weekend with the holiday and all but college football starts tonight with State playing and then Michigan tomorrow…so I will have stuff to do…more later….
