Well…damn..I really don’t know what is in the water in Missouri but it is revealing the crazy that is rampant down there…and the latest two laws that the repubs there are going to pass are just stunning in the dripping hate towards women that comes from their Taliban like repub party…the first one that was reported on a few days back would prohibit women living in Missouri to go across state lines to get an abortion no matter if it would save the life of the pregnant woman…and they are using the same damn bullshit that the supreme court allowed in Texas…that private citizens will be allowed to sue any woman that goes out of state for an abortion…how this is not unconstitutional, I really don’t know but with the right wing capture of the judicial branch in the US, the theocracy loving judges appointed by repubs will think it just fine to treat women as second class citizens…after all, that’s what the bible says they are and that is good enough for them…the next law that will be passed early next week outlaws abortions for ectopic pregnancies, where the fertilized egg implants in the fallopian tube instead of the uterus and will result in the death of the woman if it is allowed to grow and destroy the tube…resulting in the woman bleeding out if nothing is done…but that is okay with these assholes in Missouri…and the sick thing is this one is introduced by a woman rep who is so ignorant that she doesn’t know or care that this law will sentence every woman that has this happen to death…but I guess that is just fine with these “religious” assholes…if a few hundred women die so they can push their theocracy on the people of Missouri that’s just the price that has to be paid….these people are murderers plain and simple and the courts are letting them get away with it…and it’s just the start unless we all get out and vote these assholes out…geez…

Can these guys get any crazier?
Well…reading the papers today…and especially Daily Kos…okay, not technically a newspaper but a great place for we progressives to congregate…I was struck by the crazy being taken up to 11 by some idiot legislator in Missouri who proposed to make it a felony to even propose any gun control measures in that state. Yep, you heard me right…the party that reveres the constitution (or parts of it) has proposed that the 2nd amendment trumps every other one just showing that these folks are not qualified to serve anywhere. I wonder if they have even read the constitution? Don’t they understand that the Missouri constitution has specific clauses that make lawmakers immune to these types of charges? Man…just when I think that the right can’t get more stupid, here they come again with more, and more, and more…of the jaw dropping idiocy that is making them the laughingstock of the country…way to go Missouri!
The troglodytes are running the GOP…
Well…just a short one on a couple of troubling things that I have talked about before but I think they bear repeating…with the rape nonsense that is going on in Missouri by the gop senate candidate there, along with all of the anti-science legislation being passed in repub controlled states across the country…there is only one conclusion that can be reached: that the troglodytes have taken over the repub party…I just want to shout at them ‘fire good, learning good” whenever any one of them wants to equate the religious nonsense that pervades this country with true thought and science….we have become the laughingstock of the world when supposedly serious people of the gop go on and on about the fact that they don’t need science because they have god to tell them what to do…and this is exactly why idiots like Todd Akin are so dangerous to this country. As you know, these ideas pervade the gop and is a primary reason that they have become as crazy as they are….geez…
Eric Cantor is evil….
Well…reading and watching the news this morning and I came upon a little tidbit of information that dropped my jaw about 2 feet…with the widespread destruction in the middle of this country caused by the tornados and flooding, there is a need to do for these people what only government can do…manage the financial burden by giving FEMA and other agencies money that will help alleviate the suffering….well, not alleviate it but mitigate it some. But, what do we hear from the most evil man in the US House? That before he will even consider a supplemental appropriations bill to fund the recovery efforts, Eric Cantor rolls politics into and delays what should have been done yesterday…he won’t allow any bill to be voted on until the amount they are appropriating is cut from other parts of the budget. Yeah, that sound you just heard is my brain locking up with this nonsense….and to make matters worse, the repub controlled Missouri legislature and the other Missouri repub members of congress and senate support this evil man’s ideas….if you ever had any doubt about what the repubs are, here it is for all to see….keep tax breaks for oil companies but when the people are in need, tell them to go to hell…geez….
