Well…I’ll admit I had a pretty big smile on my face when I read the news that Paul Manafort was yanked off a plane this morning in Miami and his passport revoked as he was trying to make a run for it to Dubai….and it seems a little funny that this would happen to the fully pardoned trump flunky unless there are other things going on at the Justice department that are going to break soon…like more crimes in Ukraine to go with the the ones he already committed there that helped lead to Putin’s invasion….or even maybe that this could be part of a criminal complaint against the idiot boy (we can hope) that could land them both in jail and the JD is making sure he is going to be here to face the charges…and this time he will stay in jail since he doesn’t have the idiot to give him a pardon and that fact may even get him to cooperate this time. This will be an interesting one to watch over the next couple of weeks…and it couldn’t happen to a bigger crook…oh, okay…trump is a bigger crook and I hope they get him in this one, too…geez…

Ukraine’s big problems started with Manafort and trump…
Well….if you think that this invasion of Ukraine started just recently, you’re wrong….Putin’s meddling started long ago…even before he started screwing with our elections in 2016…and Paul Manafort and trump were essential in trying to give Ukraine to Putin but weren’t successful…or as successful as Putin wanted and that meant making Ukraine a client state that he could dictate to and basically run to his every whim and plunder as he wanted….and when trump tried to extort Zelensky into making up dirt on Biden, it was all part of the disrespect that trump telegraphed that was taught to him by Putin…and since he was such a sycophant, trump was more than happy to treat them like crap like they had no worth….not like the democracy they are. With trump showing Putin that the US didn’t care about Ukraine for 4 years, Putin thought that was still the policy of the US and the EU no matter who was the in charge since we didn’t to anything at all when he invaded the Crimea….so he assumed that Ukraine wasn’t important to anyone and he could do the same there…but, it is not 2014 and trump is not in charge…we now have a president who understands that making partnerships with our allies is extremely important and you can see that with the almost monolithic response to Putin’s thuggery that is due to Biden and his team’s work….now we just need to keep it up and make Putin pay for his decades of bullshit…geez…

Well….with the lenient sentences handed down to Paul Manafort…okay, one lenient and the other about right by the sentencing guidelines…the bombshell news just dropped that a Manhattan grand jury has just indicted Manafort on 16 additional counts…including mortgage fraud along with 12 other felonies…and guess what little Paulie? All of these felonies are out of reach of the corrupt idiot trump whose pardon power only works for federal crimes. Okay, don’t want to sound too gleeful about anyone going to prison for the rest of their lives, but, if any low life deserves it, it’s Manafort…he has been an enabler of the worst of the worst regimes around the world and has been a remorseless criminal his entire life…and it is clear he worked against the US in the 2016 election purely to get out of the 12 million dollar debt he owed to a Russian oligarch and he selfishly didn’t care what damage he did just so long as he “got whole”….so, hey…donnie boy…guess what is going to happen to you when you’re tossed out of office in a year an a half…yep, pardon proof state charges for you and your entire crime family….and then I will be gleeful and do a little dance….impeach…
A blameless life?
Well…not sure if you’ve read about the sentencing of Paul Manafort that took place yesterday and the shock that almost everyone feels for the rogue judge when he ignored sentencing guidelines that would have put Manafort in jail for a minimum of 19 years and sentenced him to only 47 months in jail. The most jawdropping comment that the judge made before pronouncing sentence was that, until these crimes, Manafort had led a ‘blameless life”…a blameless life? What the hell world is this idiot living in? Manafort has been the “murderers lobbyist” for the past 30 years, working for some of the worst of the worst dictators in the world, helping to get people murdered and governments overthrown along with even helping a Ukrainian dictator attack American soldiers during unrest there. So, no judge, Manafort did not live a blameless life and you have just driven another stake into the integrity of the US legal system…and you have shown that if you are a friend of trump, you can get away with anything with just a slap on the wrist. For a little context here…a woman in Texas voted mistakenly…she thought she was eligible to vote but wasn’t…and she was sentenced to 12 years in prison…and a guy who bought legal marijuana in Oregon and took it back to Mississippi is now spending 15 years in prison. Manafort did not deserve any lenience since he continued to commit crimes almost up to his sentencing but this trump loving judge took it up himself to do what he could to de-legitimize and attack the Mueller investigation by this terrible travesty of a sentence. Impeach…

Well…I wonder if the idiot trump is going to continue screeching “no collusion” after the revelations from today? This afternoon, Paul Manafort’s lawyers filed some paperwork in response to Mueller asserting that Manafort continued to lie to him after he agreed to cooperate fully with his investigation…only one little problem with that paperwork…there was one part that I’m sure they didn’t want to expose…and that was that Manafort went to Madrid to meet with a Russian agent to give him internal polling data from the trump campaign…hmmmm…seems to me that this is the definition of collusion with a foreign power to sway the election since this information WAS used for targeting purposes by the Russian troll farms that were all over social media spreading propaganda that helped trump win. I can’t wait for this question to be asked to trump and his cronies…I’ll bet the answer will be that they don’t know Manafort and even though he was the campaign chair, he didn’t really have anything to do with the campaign….impeach this son of a bitch already…geez…
This is what happens when an idiot thinks he’s a genius…
Well…haven’t been watching much news lately, preferring to read print instead but last night I turned on Rachel since there was nothing good on tv and, without cocktails, I get bored pretty easily. It was an interesting show comparing what crimes Nixon was impeached for to what the idiot trump has been doing since he was installed. The conclusion was that trump is much, much worse…attempting to obstruct justice on an almost hourly basis and using the same tactics as Nixon did to subvert the Justice Department. One of the details of obstruction, and written right into the law, is dangling a pardon in front of people who are essential to the investigation into crimes committed by the president…something that idiot boy does on a daily basis and especially in regard to Paul Manafort. With it being revealed that Manfort blew up his plea agreement with Mueller by lying to and spying on Mueller and his investigation, I can see trump sitting in the WH thinking he is the most clever person in the world by getting Manafort to do that…but, Mueller is playing eleventy dimension chess while trump is playing checkers….there was a reason that none of the past few days revelations came out until trump had submitted his answers to Mueller’s questions…Mueller knew that Manafort was spying and lying and he knew that with the coordination between trump’s and Manfort’s lawyers, he had the evidence that trump was committing perjury in those answers…this was all because trump is an idiot who thinks he is a genius and truly believed that he was smarter than Mueller…and everyone who has ever listened to trump knows that is a huge laugh. Today, the dominoes continued to tumble with the pleas of Michael Cohen to many more crimes that he did for trump…and, with 70 hours more testimony, Cohen has given Mueller what must be getting close to being the final nails in trump’s coffin. No matter what trump wishes for, the Mueller investigation is not winding down but speeding up and it looks like the timing of the release of the report should be just when the dems take charge of the House and can use the information to reveal just how big a bag of crooks that trump and his cronies are….and I just can’t wait…impeach…
Manafort is scared of the Russians…
Well…it appears that Paul Manafort is going to jail for the rest of his life by continuing to lie to Mueller in violation of his plea agreement…the first question that popped into my head was why did he make that decision…he knew that Mueller would know he was lying and that it would put him away for the rest of his life, so why is that the better choice? I think the pardon from idiot boy is still on the table…but I’m sure Mueller has that move covered by state charges that can be filed in NY or Virginia…but, I think there is more to it…I think Manafort is scared of the Russians…after all, there have been at least 5 murders of Putin’s opponents in just this past year, and he has shown that he can get to anyone, anywhere so maybe it’s self preservation on Manfort’s part…if he gets out of jail alive, he knows way too much about Russian oligarchs for Putin to allow him to roam free….or, maybe he’s just as dumb as the rest of the liars that infest the trump orbit and thought he could continue to lie and get away with it? Whatever the case, another idiot goes to jail…it won’t be the last….impeach…
Manafort has flipped…
Well…not sure how long this one is going to be but I just wanted to acknowledge that Paul Manafort has flipped and is now going to work with Mueller to fill in the gaps in the trump/Russia investigation, but not just that, Manafort has been in repub politics since back in the Reagan administration and has seen all of the scams and lawbreaking that has happened in the past 40 years by the repubs…but, more than that, he saw all of the conspiracy that got trump installed as president even though he was only campaign manager for 4 months..but those 4 months were the decisive ones in the election…so, I think Mueller has enough now to charge trump but I also think he is going to continue to build the cases in the methodical way he has done through the entire investigation…and remember that no one who Mueller has charged has walked away from the charges…and trump won’t either…impeach…
Can’t pardon state charges…
Well…as predictable as the sun rising, the idiot trump is already talking about pardoning Paul Manafort for the 8 felonies he was convicted of just Tuesday….you have to remember that traditionally the presidential pardon power has been used to right a wrong or to help someone who is really sorry for what they’ve done and additional punishment would not be the right thing to happen…but, as we can see with trump’s pardons so far, the power is being misused to reward trump’s buddies who broke the law and still proclaim their innocence, as if the law doesn’t apply to them. So, it was with more than a little smile on my face that I read that Mueller has been working with some state AG’s on a contingency plan to have Manafort tried in state courts that are beyond the reach of trump…and, I’m sure this contingency has been considered for everyone else that is under investigation in the trump/Russia conspiracy case. So, idiot boy, go ahead and pardon everyone that is part of your elections stealing scheme…it will just be more evidence of your obstruction and it will make it far easier to put you in jail…impeach…

Well…have been getting some news on the Manafort trial jurors and the reasons that they couldn’t agree on a verdict on ten of the counts against him…it is a little sick that just one MAGA trump lover kept the rest of the jurors from doing their jobs and convicting on all counts…the hours of voting in the jury room and more hours of the rest of the jurors patiently showing this holdout why they were voting to convict;…but this one trump loving juror kept parroting what trump said before the trial started that the only reason that Manafort was on trial was to get to trump and that the whole trial was not “fair”….now this is what trump’s constant bleating about witch hunts and bias in the justice department has gotten us…a poisoned jury pool who puts trump above the law and refuses to convict when the evidence is clear that Manafort was guilty on all counts. With this knowledge, I think Manfort should be re-tried on the counts that were declared mistrials…and the feds need to do a better job of jury selection…if the jurors watch fox news, they should be booted….impeach….
