Well…I’m tired….and I’ve only been up for an hour or so…that seems to be the new normal and something that I’ve been bitching about for too damn long….not sure what to do about it other than bitch, though…oh,well…just need to have the coffee start to work and I’ll be okay…got a nice bide ride in yesterday but it looks like today is going to be a bust with it raining already and a huge blob of it still coming from the south…maybe I’ll just make today the day off I was going to take tomorrow….but, we’ll see…at lease I won’t even be attempting going out until the afternoon but it is going to be cold so I’ll be back in light thermasuit and gloves today…the premier league comes back today with Man U playing at 11 and F1 qualifying is on at the same time so there will be some flipping this morning…I am going to try a new recipe for boneless/skinless thighs for lunch and cook a little rice to go with it….not sure if I’ll use the instant pot but probably should since I haven’t used it in a while….but, right now there is an F2 race on and I need more coffee so I’ll end here….more later…

Adam Schiff is my new hero…
Well…you just have to watch the destruction that Adam Schiff leveled on the idiot trump supporters on the House Intelligence Committee yesterday when the 9 repubs pushed the moronic idea that Schiff should resign since he had the gall to say what everyone knows…that trump and his campaign got help from the Russians during the 2016 election no matter what the trump shill Barr said in his “summary” of the Mueller report. I was almost laughing when I watched Devin Nunes sitting there thinking he had engineered a coup against Schiff, and then Schiff just eviscerated him and the rest of the repub traitors who serve on the committee with a very simple recitation of all of the times it is factually known that the trump campaign met with and tried to help the Russians during the campaign…and how the Russians helped elect trump…and he used a simple rhetorical flourish with the words “you might think” at the start of each recitation…which made it even more powerful…you really do need to go out to twitter or youtube and watch it…and watch the faces of Nunes and the rest of the repubs when they realize they have really screwed the pooch and made a huge mistake taking on a former prosecutor who is prepared for their attack…it is just beautiful to watch….
March 29th
Well…made it all the way to 5:37 this morning and that is just not enough sleep with not getting to bed until almost 12 last night….feel pretty crappy right now and I hope that goes away soon but I’m pretty sure it won’t…have been exhausted for the past week or so and that is getting really old…and the disruption around here with them patching the holes in my ceiling and putting in the new disposal is a pain that will continue today with more ceiling work to be done…just want them to finish so I can put everything back in it’s place and get things back to normal…I did get a nice bike ride in with no fleece yesterday and it was quite early for that this year…but, it looks like the weather is going to be changing back to cold starting tomorrow and that is a little depressing…but it’s Michigan so that is to be expected….didn’t get much done with all of the crap going on around here yesterday and today looks the same…I do need to run out and get some chicken at Aldi’s later and get a workout in but that will be about it for the day if I continue to feel this lousy…more later…
Fumigate the VanAndel….
Well…with the idiot trump in town for some reason, the thought came into my head on the bike that they are going to have to fumigate the VanAndel arena where his “rally” is being held before I’ll be able to set foot in there again….I even got a text from his re-election campaign telling me how I could get tickets…now, anyone who knows me at all knows that the last place on earth I would ever be would be listening to the most stupid, racist asshole on the planet spout off and get his moron followers worked up into a frenzy…you know, living here in West Michigan all of my life, I thought the people here were pretty okay…but I was wrong…we are infested with hateful, racist assholes as evidenced by the DeVos and Van Andel families who, while they have done some good work, are trump’s biggest enablers here in Michigan, and that alone has tarred them with nothing but contempt from people here who have more than two brain cells. So, I won’t be watching any local news today since the local stations are all controlled by repubs and will fawn all over the asshole in chief…and I don’t need to see that…impeach….
March 28th
Well…running a little early for it being a grocery day and I’m not sure whey that would be…had to run the entire grocery section from front to back and had lots of stuff to buy so that should have take more time…oh, well…didn’t sleep all that hot last night and was up by 6 or so and I should feel worn out from that but I don’t feel too bad this morning…I wonder if it’s the bug going away or that I’ve started to try eating more…whatever it is, it is nice to not be exhausted just walking out to the couch in the morning…I did have a nasty surprise last night when my disposal started leaking like a sieve and dumping water all over my kitchen floor…so now, I’ll have to call it in at 9 so they can come and put in a new one and I can use my kitchen sink again…may have them replace the kitchen faucet, too since it has been leaking for a while now and my sprayer fell apart a couple of weeks ago…so that will screw up my plans of getting a bike ride in early today with it being almost 50 already…got out in shorts yesterday and want to do the same today…it is just more fun riding without the thermasuit and gloves…more later…
Back to politics…
Well…are the repubs just stupid or what? After the 2018 election where they just got trounced and where the dems won the healthcare voters by a whopping 52%, the repubs just can’t help themselves and are attacking the ACA through the courts again and are gleefully court shopping in hopes of taking healthcare away from 100 million Americans. If you look at the polls, the issue of healthcare is the most important one to almost 50% of the country and these people said they will vote against anyone who is trying to take away the ACA and that is the repubs only…no bullshit “bothsiderism” here, it is the nutty right wing assholes who don’t care about anyone but the rich who are doing it…and I wonder why the idiot trump is still playing to only his base by doing this…after all, his base is only about 40% of the country if that much and that is not enough to get re-elected….so, in the era of the end of the Mueller report, there are still things we need to keep our eyes open for…the repubs are going to try to do as much damage as they can before we vote them out in 2020 and it is up to us to minimize that as best we can until we become the clean up crew…again…impeach…
March 27th
Well…running a little late this morning and there is no reason for it other than boredom…and not having a bit of motivation…woke up at 5:14 but stayed in bed until almost 6:30…not sleeping but just didn’t want to start the day that early…still damn exhausted as I have been for a week now and I am starting to get a little concerned about that….hmmmm…I finally got a few things done yesterday morning and at least that is something…while I was waiting for the temp to come up enough to ride, I washed the car and put the summer wheels back on the car and I was really surprised at how much just that little bit of work made me hurt later in the day…my left hamstring is hurting again and that’s not the only thing…it felt like everything hurt so I had to take an ibuprofen to make it tolerable…and it is better this morning so I think that was a good idea…I am considering waiting to ride until it is warm enough to get out in shorts today since it is going to be 54 or so but I really don’t like waiting to ride…we’ll see…I do need to get some cleaning done and I am going to try to do that after I have lots more coffee and get some time on the weight machine….more later…
Some trail stuff…
Well…I’m pretty sure you are as tired if the idiot trump as I am so I am not going to write about him today….instead, I’m going to do the first trail update for the year…there’s not a lot to talk about but here goes…it appears that the beavers have left the pond along M-6 some time during my indoor riding…the water level has dropped almost 10 feet since winter and I don’t see any evidence that they are still cutting trees around it….that’s too bad…less entertainment for me…one funny thing happened yesterday while I was on another part of the trail…a mouse came running out of the brush and smacked right into my front tire, flipped about two feet in the air and, if I had been quick enough, I could have reached out and caught it in the air…one of those things that appear to be in slow motion and are so damn amusing that you just have to smile…and the mouse hit the trail and took off running back into the grass so I guess there wasn’t any damage…I sure can’t wait until I can get out in shorts and a t-shirt…it is starting to get annoying always being in thermasuit and gloves…maybe tomorrow…
March 26th
Well…running late today since my son forgot to renew my domain name and I just got back online right now…I do need to send him a check for 12 bucks to cover it for the year and that’s not bad…I feel quite a bit better today and now I know the exhaustion is from not eating enough since I stuffed myself all day yesterday…well…stuffed myself as much as I can which means going from 1,000 cals to 1,500 but that made the difference for me…I will still think about having a bug since I am still sweating again right now…I need to remember that I can’t assume causality with just one data set but it is good to have a little energy for the first time in a while…I did sleep okay but got up at 5:14 again and that happens enough that I don’t really need to talk about it….no dreams again that I can remember but that just rates an oh, well…I did just get out to get my powerball tickets for the 750 million jackpot for tomorrow night…which would be almost 500 mil in cash and I think I may be able to live on that for a while….I think I’m going to wash the car to get ready to change to my summer wheels tomorrow
Are you surprised?
Well…with the 4 page summary on the Mueller investigation issued but AG Barr, are you surprised that he summarized the thousands of pages down to “trump did nothing that can be prosecuted”? I’m not, given Barr’s history as being a repub hack who I predicted would whitewash any findings against the idiot boy…after all, you just need to look at his history…Barr was instrumental in getting the Iran Contra felons their pardons from the elder Bush and has made it perfectly clear that he is a partisan hack that will do anything to protect repubs…and even said so in his confirmation hearing. So, why should we believe anything he has to say? Look, the only way we are going to get at the truth is to have house dems subpoena the entire report and the underlying evidence so impartial investigators can confirm what Barr had to say…and then summon Barr and Mueller to testify in front of the Intelligence and Judiciary committees to ensure that Barr is not able to get away with this coverup….I have confidence in the dems in the House to do their jobs and get the report released to the public…and if I were idiot boy, I’d skip the victory laps for now….the SDNY is still working on many more cases and, as I said before, the Mueller report is not the most important thing going on….it’s just one of the many things happening and trump will still go to jail after he is out of office….impeach….
