Well…just saw some disturbing news about Elon Musk that is going to turn a lot of people’s stomachs…I thought he was a okay guy who understands that climate change is going to destroy this planet, and that equality for all is necessary for a fair society. Yeah, not so much…it was revealed today that he wrote a check for 40,000 dollars to the super pac whose sole purpose is to keep repubs in control of the House…yep, the guy that stands up and lies to everyone that he believes in social justice is trying to ensure that the knuckle draggers who are trying to take us back to the 1800’s keep control of the House and do more damage to this country…so, to any gays that are thinking about buying a Tesla, the profit from your car is going to make sure you will never be equal in this country…to any women out there who are thinking of buying a Tesla, the profit from your car is going to the party that is doing everything they can to make sure you won’t have control over your own body anymore…I know I can’t afford a Tesla, but I have been supportive of Space X and now that ends with this sickening bit of news…I guess money is the only thing that matters to Elon…should have figured that out….WTF Elon?

No feats of strength this year…
Well…if you’ve been here the past few years, you’ve seen that I normally try to think up some athletic feat to perform on my birthday that is usually doing something on the bike…like the year when I turned 56, I rode 56 miles and last year when I turned 64, I rode the bike 100 miles….just to prove to myself that I still can do those things..but, after spending 8 hours in the saddle last year, I really can’t think of anything else I want to do this year…I’m already beating my records for mileage for the year so far so I guess that will have to do….so, unless I get some kind of inspiration tonight, it looks like an easy day for me tomorrow…
Now we know…
Well….after the bombshell revelations of the indictments of 12 Russian agents who were some of the people who broke into the dem servers, we also found out that information was provided not only to the idiot trump’s campaign but to many other repubs who were running for office. With these new indictments, we now know why Paul Ryan has been helping Devin Nunes obstruct the House investigation…Ryan himself used this stolen information to help numerous House repubs running for election…now, let’s say that again…the speaker of the house, the person third in line to the presidency, conspired with Russian intelligence to help not only his own election, but to help many, many other repubs get elected. Every time he did that, it was a felony since accepting help from any foreign entity in a federal election is a felony…and that is not the worst part…he conspired with our greatest enemy to attack our country and then sits there with that granny-starving grin on his face and lectures the dems when they want to get to the truth. As I’ve said before, this is the biggest damn scandal in the history of this country and it only happened because the repubs are just fine with taking help from our biggest enemy if it keeps them in power…the party of values my ass….impeach….
July 14th
Well…running late today with getting out on the bike before coming here…and it was not a good idea to go out without having coffee first…made the ride just torture but I’m glad I got out before the storms come in…had huge cramps in my hands the whole way and I’m not sure what that is about…they normally go away after the first few miles but not today…slept okay last night but got up early today…it is strange to get up at 6:50 and be on the bike by 7:10….didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today looks to be the same with the tour on now and then going over to watch the third place match from the world cup…the game that no one wants to play so it may not be a good one….I do need to do some laundry in a few minutes but I am trying to get some coffee in first…this is just not the right sequence with the coffee….don’t think I’ll do that again…didn’t even get a full glass of water in before the bike ride and that didn’t help…more later…
12 more indictments from the “witch hunt”
Well…with just the most perfect timing, preceding the idiot trump’s meeting with Putin, 12 more indictments were issued from the Mueller investigation into trump’s conspiracy with the Russians. And, guess who the people are who were indicted? Every damn one of them work for the GRU, the successor to the KGB in Russia. Yeah, Mueller is showing that all of the hacks into the dems before the election were done by the Russian government…and the e-mails that were released by Wikileaks and guccifer all came from that Russian government hack. I wonder what the repubs are going to say now? Especially the idiot Nunes who ignored all of the evidence to give cover to trump by saying “nothing to see here” in his report from the intel committee? I want our media to ask every repub until the election if they still want to keep their head in the sand when there is proof that Russia threw the election to trump….and I want our side to continue to hammer the repubs on the fact they are doing nothing to make sure they don’t do it again….this is in fact the biggest scandal in the history of this country and trump needs to be impeached for it…now…
One last thing to remember when the idiot boy spews “witch hunt” again, his buddy, Roger Stone, worked with these 12 guys guys to get “dirt” on Hillary…and committed treason in the process….and he didn’t do it on his own…he told trump about it so that is treason by trump, too….let’s get out and vote folks, it’s up to us to save this country…
July 13th
Well…man, I feel like crap this morning and I think it may be the new allergy medicine I used last night….wanted to try something other than the red dots I had been using but I think these are not going to do it….slept okay last night but feel tired as heck today so I think I’ll have to ease into it with more coffee…I did get the car cleaned yesterday but it may have rained last night so I may have to do it all over…but, probably not…geez…my lungs are congested today and I wonder where that came from…just not feeling too hot….I did run the ac in the car yesterday and it is still cold so I can run it out to pool Monday in the storms….I did get a few things done yesterday and I should do more today but I’m not sure how much I’ll do feeling like this….just want to hit the couch and veg but I do have a couple of things to do this morning….and have some cleaning to do later but need to let the coffee work first….more later….
The spandex boys are back…
Well…you’ve heard me rant before that no one, and I mean no one should ever wear spandex…at least I’ve never seen anyone who looks good in it…but, the spandex is blooming again now that the Tour de France is going on…this happens every year when groups of newbies decked out like cycle teams infest my trails. It started Sunday when I saw the first one….a guy about my height but weighing approximately 250 pounds went by…and every roll of fat stuck out like a balloon that is being squeezed…and he had the seat of the bike so low that he could barely pedal…now, I normally don’t comment on people’s looks but damn, didn’t he look in the mirror before he left his place? There is still two more weeks to go in the tour so I guess I’ll just have to look the other way….
July 12th
Well….running on time for a Thursday and that means it’s a little late for a normal day….not sure why but I feel pretty crappy this morning…probably from not eating enough but I am going to fix that today…going to make a taco casserole and then some chicken thighs so I hope that fixes it…slept okay last night but my bed looks like a hurricane hit it so I must have tossed a bit…I had both earplugs in when I got up so that was new….I am a little disappointed that England lost yesterday but it should still be a good final…and I found out the Ukrainian woman at the checkout is actually from Croatia and she is happy that they are in the final……I did get a bunch of errands run yesterday and I may even clean the car today but I need to get the bike ride in first…not much to do today….going to just cook today and then veg it out…more later…
trump embarrasses the US again…
Well…I’ll bet Putin is just laughing his ass off and grinning with his puppet trump’s performance at the NATO breakfast this morning..god, can the idiot boy get any more embarrassing to us? Showing his ignorance and stupidity, trump went off on Germany today calling them “captive of Russia” because they get 35% of their natural gas from Russia…and you could visibly see everyone else in the room cringe when idiot boy went off on his rant and when the adults in the room tried to correct his lies with facts, this moron just shouted them down and wouldn’t listen. This all plays into Putin’s goals of breaking up the EU and NATO and sowing discord that will reduce Europe’s power to contain Russia….goals that trump seems to gleefully embrace as he trashes our closet allies. I have a bit of advice for the friends we have left in the world, just frickin ignore trump and his minions and go your own way until we can get rid of this idiot…and that day is coming…just not soon enough…impeach…

Well…running on time today and I really shouldn’t be…haven’t been feeling that hot the past few days and I’m not sure what it is…slept okay last night but have this feeling of fatigue today so I think I’ll ease into it…I did have a nice lunch with T yesterday and it is funny to see her turning into a soccer geek like me…but, Belgium lost yesterday and that is a little depressing…but I still have England to root for this afternoon and then the final on Sunday…and the premier league starts back up in a couple of weeks so that will give me something to watch…didn’t get a lot done yesterday but have errands to run after the ride today that will take me to lunch….need to figure out what to cook but nothing looks too appealing so that may be a chore…more later….
