Well…damn, it appears that the repubs aren’t happy unless they have a new group to hate…Muslims, African Americans, Latinos, Gays have all had their turn in the box with these assholes and now they have picked trans kids as their latest group to be attacked across the country with laws that are legislated child abuse and cross the line over into sexual abuse….and all this from the biggest damn group of hypocrites the world has ever seen and who say they are against government intrusion in people’s lives…but I guess that’s just for people like them. Why the hell is there so much hate for trans kids? First, they started with banning trans kids from sports from kindergarten through college and are still trying to force them into standard binary choices of how they were born when we now know that sometimes you are born into the wrong body and the medical literature now support that there is a myriad of types of how sex is manifested in humans….okay, I think there is a religious component to all of this hate since religion is quoted by every damn repub hater who are responsible for these hateful laws….and that is just wrong…why should it be allowed to use your religion to hate an entire class of people? The worst law in the country has just passed in Florida that requires children to submit to “inspection” of their genitals before they can go out for sports to make sure that no trans kids can participate…now, how would you feel if some “doctor” hired by a school district forced one of your kids to expose themselves for “inspection” just to go out for sports? Never in a million years would I let any of my kids suffer this degrading crap that could scar them for life…but repubs don’t care…their hate trumps everything…

Here’s your “bipartisanship”…
Well…I am just shaking my head at the lack of awareness that both Sinema and Manchin have when it comes to their magic pony of “bipartisanship” and their efforts to find it when they have actually met mitch mcconnell….just today, ole mitch directed his repub senators to “use” both Sinema and Manchin and string them along with lies about the possibility of “bipartisanship” to block any and all of Biden’s agenda…you hear that Sinema? You hear that Manchin? mitch has revealed that he and his caucus will lie to you all day long to make sure they can dupe you into blocking Joe’s agenda and the agenda that will help the American people…and guess what? You are swallowing it hook line and sinker with your preening bullshit while you wallow in your self importance…and that is just another tactic of mitch’s….stoking your crappy sense of importance so you’ll think you are in control but mitch is playing you like a stratocaster and you are either complicit or too damn dumb to realize it. Now, anyone with a tiny bit of self respect would tell mitch and his asshole caucus to go to hell and get on with doing right by America…the ball’s in your court…
Foreign policy takes center stage…
Well…wow, lots of stuff to talk about on the foreign policy stage today and after the chaos of the past 4 years, we have a coherent policy taking shape that will start to restore our standing in the world. First, and something that went basically unnoticed when it was announced two weeks ago, the US is entering back into talks with Iran on their nuclear program that was discarded by the idiot trump and that lead to Iran advancing it’s uranium enrichment that has been stopped under the agreement negotiated by damn near all of the world that trump crapped all over…now, it’s going to be slow going since no one in the world trusts us anymore after the incompetence of trump and his cronies but at least diplomacy is back and is retaking it’s rightful place in foreign policy. Second, Joe has done what I have advocated for years…he is getting us out of Afghanistan in September after 20 long years of losing our soldiers to a war that has no reason for being other than to enrich defense companies…I know the hawks out there are wringing their hands about it but nothing we can do will change the outcome there…so let’s declare victory and go home. Third, and the coolest thing yet is the announcement of stiff sanctions on Russia, Putin, and his oligarch cronies for their interference in our elections and the hacking of most of the US government last year…and hey, let’s contrast that to the previous guy who had the same information from the intelligence agencies and didn’t do a damn thing since he just loved him some Putin. Joe even went farther than expected when he tied Paul Manafort to Konstantin Kilimnik and stated that Manafort gave information to Kilimnik who then gave it to Russia and it’s intelligence agencies to allow them to micro target our election and install the idiot trump….so, and I know we knew this before, there was collusion between the trump campaign and Russia that got trump elected…and no matter how many times trump chants “no collusion” the truth is the truth…and I hope these sanctions crash the Russian economy and stirs a revolt against the murderer Putin….it is so cool that we finally have someone with backbone as president who will look out for the country and not just himself…go Joe…
It gets worse for the repubs..
Well…damn, the repubs are looking dumber and dumber every day with their efforts across the country to suppress the votes of people they don’t want to vote…like everyone who won’t vote for them. But, I’m pretty sure they didn’t count on their reliable partners in business reacting as they have been…with over 300 more businesses pushing back on these un-American bills by condemning them in just the past day…and all of the big three automakers here in Michigan joining in and schooling them on why they are opposing them…that all people in the US have the right to vote without repub interference by the erection of barriers to any and all kinds of voting. Okay, sternly worded letters are all well and good, but what concrete steps are these businesses going to take to punish this crap? At the very least, they need to stop giving a dime to any repub…and I don’t care about the ones who sit there and whine that they had nothing to do with it…just by being repubs, they are supporting every damn law across this country and they shouldn’t get one thin dime…and all of that money should then go to dems who have proven over and over that making sure that everyone who is eligible can vote without repub interference…only then are these protestations actually doing something that the repubs will pay attention to. I guess this is a start but only a start to getting rid of every damn repub across this country…they have proven they hate this country and they need to go….
Joe Manchin really is delusional…
Well….if you have been following the drama of trying to get anything passed in the senate with dem senator Joe Manchin preening and displaying his delusions for everyone to see, you have to think he must not read anything or hasn’t looked at the repub behavior over the past 20 years. First, he keeps talking an talking about finding “bipartisanship” with the repubs to get the infrastructure bill passed and he continues to look through the horseshit pile that the repubs have piled on this country looking for that elusive pony…one that doesn’t exist…damn, Joe, have you seen the repub votes for the recovery act? Yeah, there weren’t any and that was supported by 70% of the American people. the second thing is that ole Joe has bought into the repub idea that tax cuts create jobs when not one damn study of any tax cut over the past 40 years says it doesn’t…but that doesn’t stop Joe from parroting the repub talking points and holding up more legislation to try to give more tax cuts to the repubs…and that is complete bullshit…damn, Joe…read the study that just came out on the trump tax cuts…not one damn job was created and the only thing that happened was stock buybacks that transferred wealth to the 1%…so, Joe, read something for a change and stop listening to the liars on the right…it’s all they do…geez…
I think they miscalculated…
Well…how damn dumb do the repubs have to be to not have seen the backlash to the 300 voting suppression bills that have been introduced by them across the country? It’s not only dumb but it is wrong and business across this country are weighing in with actions that highlight their opposition to this attack on their customers…and you can see the rift with ole mitch mcconnell essentially saying to them to shut up about voting rights and just give money to us…an abrupt about face from the Citizens United decision where the repubs just loved the “speech” of corporations since it supported what the repubs wanted…but now, when these same companies are appalled with trying to take the vote away from their customers and making it known, ole mitch blatantly wants them to stop and is even thinking of new laws that will punish companies that don’t support the repubs…some kind of free speech, huh? The rift got even worse over the weekend when the heads of 100 of the largest US businesses and even the Chamber of Commerce had a conference call to try to figure out how to most effectively oppose these new Jim Crow laws…and one suggestion was to stop giving money to any repub who supports this voter suppression aimed at minorities and designed for the repubs to be able to cheat…if this new law in Georgia had been in effect for the 2020 election, the repubs could have “found” the 12,000 votes that would have given the state to the idiot trump and installed him as president when he lost the election. Make no mistake, the repubs in this country hate democracy and are going to do everything they can to ensure their continued rule even when they lose the vote….and we all have to oppose this crap at every turn…let’s hope business will be partners in these efforts…
Now they are killing kids here in Michigan..
Well… as we watch repubs forcing their states to open across the US against the advice of the experts and every damn doctor other than Scott Atlas, we now have the repubs here in Michigan killing kids with their bullshit threatening of governor Whitmer that forced her to allow high school sports and schools to reopen with the the obvious effect…obvious to everyone but the stupid damn repubs that control the legislature….so now, we have the highest rate of new cases of the B 1.17 variant of the virus that is 20 times more infectious and causes serious cases in young people that could harm them for the rest of their lives…but the repubs still scream “freedumb” and want even more restrictions lifted as Whitmer pleads with people to keep up the mask wearing and to have them stay away from indoor dining or bars, etc. where the virus is known to spread. The repub head of the MHSAA (the Michigan High School Athletic Assoc.) has even come out and said that they are going to continue to hold tournaments and spring sports even with the wildfire spread of the virus in high school athletes. Look, I understand that people are getting restriction weary but this stupidity by Michigan repubs is going to make the year we have lived in isolation not worth a damn thing as they gleefully kill more and more of our friends an neighbors…and now they come after the children and feel no remorse at all…monsters, all of them….
Not one repub….
Well…I’m sure you’ve heard of the saga of the mini trump repub Matt Gaetz who has been connected to child trafficking and using campaign funds to pay for women to travel with him all over the country…and his connection to the disgraced former Florida official who has been charged with 33 counts of various felonies, and who has flipped on Gaetz and is giving testimony to the FBI….and this is not the only instance of how sleazy Gaetz is….he has paraded around the House floor showing nude photos of women he has slept with to other repubs….and here’s the thing…not one damn repub has said a word against this child trafficker….not one damn repub has condemned his general sleaziness when all of them knew who he was…and that is the modern repub party folks, the party of family values is okay with one of their members having sex with underage girls, illegally using campaign funds to pay for it, and lying his ass off about the whole thing. I never want to hear another one of them try to lecture anyone on “family values” when this is perfectly acceptable to them…when is the last time you heard of a dem doing half of what is just peachy with repubs these days? I can’t wait for the perp walk of this mini trump who feels that the law doesn’t apply to him….just like the rest of them…
It’s on you, Manchin…
Well…as conversation continues on what to do about the filibuster to get this country going again, we have the biggest obstacle to moving America’s agenda, Joe Manchin, going on and on that the filibuster can be preserved and get the laws passed that are needed to repair the economy and protect voting rights…and he thinks he can get the 60 votes necessary in the senate by bringing along 10 repubs to vote for Joe Biden’s agenda. Now, I should just laugh at the prospect that any repub senator, let alone ten, will vote for anything that benefits the American people…they have shown over the past decade that they don’t give a damn about anyone but the rich way too many times and Manchin must be the most delusional senator in DC if he believes that he can convince any repub to go against mcconnell and the hordes of trumpists who would howl to the heavens if any of them voted for anything the dems want. I wonder how long it will take for Manchin and Sinema to have reality smack them in the face and for them to finally realize that the American people are more important than any senate rule that allows the minority to block needed infrastructure spending or relief…not sure if they are bright enough to realize that they are playing into the repubs hands with this delusional belief in bipartisanship…and I wonder if they care….

Well…with the Derek Chauvin trial still going on for his killing of George Floyd last year by kneeling on his neck for almost 9 minutes, a thought hit me today about how screwed up our legal system is that this trial has gone on for almost two weeks…let’s think about a hypothetical for just a minute…what if we replace George Floyd with a german shepard and Chauvin kneeled on it’s neck for 9 minutes in the view of witnesses? Right now Chauvin would be in in prison for a count of felony animal abuse and it would have been an easy open and shut case. So, why is it so hard to see that Chauvin kneeling on George Floyd’s neck for 9 minutes that killed him isn’t at least manslaughter? Especially since he had George handcuffed and lying on the ground and posed no threat to the Chauvin? I’m afraid our legal system is too far gone to be saved if this creep is let off from the murder charges…and I fear for Minnesota if that is the outcome…I don’t advocate for violent protests at all, but damn…this is as open and shut as a case gets…and it is highlighting there really is a different legal system for white people in this country…and that is just wrong…
