Well…with the latest manufactured controversy that is spreading like a fungus across the right…the thought comes to my mind..”don’t they have anything better to do?” This time…just like the other thousands of times, the right is going off the rails with the fact that Kamala Harris didn’t salute the soldiers who were standing guard at the foot of the stairs of AF2 when she was boarding…and they are going on and on that she doesn’t respect the military and is too aloof to perform that simple courtesy…hey right wing assholes, I’ve got news for you…VP Harris is a civilian and it is not proper for a civilian to salute or to return a salute from a military person…in every damn military code the only people who are supposed to salute are other military members in uniform but that doesn’t matter to the ignorant morons on the right…the Biden admin is so competent and scandal free that they spend their horrible lives trying to invent something, anything that would allow them to fuel the outrage meter that was a daily occurrance when the idiot trump was in office…so sorry assholes…she is right and you are just pathetic losers…try again….

Confiscate all the damn guns…
Well…when is it enough? How many damn people have to die from shootings here in the US before we do something about it? 20 more dead just this week and we don’t even get to absorb what happened in the last one before another one happens….and that is just too much. I think we truly need to start thinking about repealing the 2nd amendment since no one on the right will go along with even the popular, basic first steps to regulate who can buy a gun and what kind…so, let’s just buy back all of them and make guns illegal…okay, I don’t want to go that far but when AR-15’s have been used in almost every damn mass shooting over the past 5 years there is a reason…and that is you can get huge magazines and they are rapid fire…and will empty the mag just as fast as you can pull the trigger….and don’t give me the bullshit that they are necessary for “protection”…from what? The Taliban coming across the East Beltline? I’ve just had enough of the gun fetishists being so damn scared that they need to be armed everywhere and then the rest of us suffer the stress from seeing these idiots carrying guns around and not knowing if this is the time that the idiot goes off and starts shooting. If they won’t compromise, lets just get rid of all guns…no guns, no more mass murders…I’ve had enough…
Why shouldn’t DC be a state?
Well…with the hearings that are taking place in the house today on making DC the 51 st state, my question is “why shouldn’t DC be a state?” It has more population than Wyoming and they get a rep and two senators and get the right to vote for them…so why not DC? Since the district was formed in 1790, not one resident of the area has been allowed to vote for a rep or senator…they pay all the same taxes as the rest of the country but get no representation and they are ruled by congress who can overrule any laws passed by the city council…so, basically the residents have no say in how they are governed at all….and we know why repubs are so against statehood…the district is a majority black/brown area and the repubs are doing whatever they can to make sure that minorities can’t vote all across the country….and, with the prospect of the 51st state sending two dem senators to the senate, the repubs chances to take control of the senate in 2022 goes way down….but, this is all about fairness and one of the reasons we fought the revolutionary war…”no taxation without representation”…and that is just what is happening to those American citizens…so, I think this needs to happen…there is no reason why almost a million Americans should be treated differently than the rest of us….let’s get this done, dems…
Ted Cruz truly is a terrible person…
Well….after the repubs lost the two senate races in Georgia and others across the country, their response was not to ask why people weren’t buying what they are selling when it includes hate and misogyny…nope, they are pefectly happy to continue to have no policies that people want…or no policies at all other than a blind allegiance to the idiot trump and tax cuts for the rich….and their big takeaway from the huge turnout of voters both on the left and right is that they can’t let that happen again….so in state legislatures across the country their have been almost 300 bills that would make it harder for people to vote even though this last election was one of the most secure and accurate in the history of the country and the only purpose for these bills is to make sure dem voters can’t vote since it is the only way that repubs can win. The dems response to these bills is HR1 which would codify a minimum set of voting rules that states would have to adhere to such as any reason absentee voting, 15 days of early voting, election day registration, and other things that the repubs just hate…and now we get to ole Ted…last week, ted was caught on tape saying that if HR1 passes, the dems will control the government for a “hundred years” and we will have rampaging socialism that will ruin this country…all that just for making it easier to vote and taking the ability to gerrymander out of the hands of repubs…and, of course, cruz is lying his ass off when he told the group that “illegal aliens” will get the right to vote along with child molesters and rapists…and not one word about any policy that will help the American people like the dems passed recently, but just more and more of the terrible bullshit that spews out of ole ted’s mouth….this is what happens when the repubs have nothing to offer, no policy, and nothing else…just hate and white supremacy…and I do kind of like the idea if HR1 passes the dems will be in control for a hundred years…won’t happen but it is nice to contemplate…
He’s too boring?
Well…okay, I know I did one on this before and I don’t like to repeat myself since that feels like cheating…but damn, I laughed my butt off with comments from idiots on the right from the past few days that Biden is just “too boring” and not giving them anything to be outraged about like trump did for four years…and one far right moron, Dan Bongino, went so far as to say he thinks being boring is just a plot by Biden to lull people to sleep while he enacts a “radical” agenda…yeah, if he means by radical agenda one that helps most of America and not just the one percent and bringing competence an truth to government. One of the big complaints from all of the right wing media swamp is that Joe is not giving them anything to run like trump did all day and now they have to work for a change and they don’t like….they seem to think that the atrocity that was the government under trump was normal and they just can’t understand that someone really does have empathy and cares about more than taking credit for things he didn’t do and lying all the time…get used to it morons…eight more years….

Well…damn, another mass murder, this time against Asian women in Georgia…this is what happens when you have the asshole trump going on and on about the “China virus” Kung flu” and the many many other racial slurs his filthy hole spouted over 4 years that were amplified by every damn part of the right wing media cesspool…6 Asian women are dead because some white asshole decided they weren’t paying enough attention to him so he’d get even by killing as many as he could find…and this goes along with the daily attacks on Asian Americans across this country that are up over 150% in the past year…and the worst part of it is the right wing Georgia sherriff who does a press conference and says that the murderer had a “bad day”….yeah nowhere near as bad as the dead you asshole…god, I just hate these goobers that are part of the good old boy networks that will do their best to excuse any action that is done by a white guy…it’s just a “bad day” that made him murder 6 Asian women…and it’s been revealed that this sheriff has been part of this Asian hatred, liking t-shirts that denigrated Asians and making a joke about it. I’ve had damn enough of these assholes who think just because their life hasn’t worked out to the delusions they have it’s an excuse to take it out on other people…if your life isn’t what you wanted, do something about it…get off OANN and Newsmax and do something about it…I guess it’s easier to just play the victim all the time just as all the damn repubs do than it is to make something of yourself…I’m a non-vioIent person but I hope they fry this asshole…and every damn other one who pops his ugly loser head out from under their rock….geez…
A scorched Earth threat?
Well…As talk increases on what to do to reform the filibuster in the Senate to keep moscow mitch from killing all the legislation that country needs to move forward, he has started to threaten the dems with a “Scorched earth” policy that he will use to pass all the things the dems don’t want like militarization of the Southern border, outlawing all abortions and taking voting rights away from everyone the repubs don’t think should vote…you notice that there is not one thing in that list that does anything to move the country forward or help anyone? After the threat was made, the majority whip, Dick Durbin, basically replied with “bring it” and then asked mitch why that is any different from what he did with Merrick Garland’s nomination to the supreme court and mitch calling himself the grim reaper; making sure that popular legislation passed in the house died in the senate when he controlled it. I am happy to see that the dems are still showing a backbone and are meeting threats with promises and action that helps most of the country…and that means reforming the filibuster but doing away with it or, at the very least, making the repubs actually hold the floor by being there and speaking instead of phoning in their objections without doing any work. I’m glad to see the even Joe is getting on board to these changes to get the rest of his agenda passed to protect our democracy from the hundreds of bills that the repubs are pushing to make voting harder for dems especially…it’s about time…
Kavanaugh should be sweating…
Well…it looks like the lying drunk Kavanaugh just might have some problems in the future if a dem senator gets his way…just the other day, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse sent a letter to AG Merrick Garland asking him to conduct proper oversight in the FBI’s probe into Kavanaugh which Whithouse contends was “politcally constrained and perhaps fake” and the FBI did their best to make sure that no information detrimental to Kavanaugh was allowed into any report by ignoring witnesses and setting up a fake tip line that sent tips directly to the trash bin. Whithouse also wants to find out who was running the show and what political interference was done and by whom….while this may not get Kavanaugh off the court…it will forever taint his tenure there and maybe, just maybe we could get the senate to impeach the liar…with the repubs, we’d never get a conviction and removal, but then the whole world will know his seat is not legitimate and that will further destroy the legitimacy of the court…and maybe force some reform there? We can hope….

Well…I think I may have used this topic before, but I think it bears repeating and repeating and repeating….as the relief checks and child’s tax credit along with help for damn near everyone in the country except the rich starts to roll out, not one damn repub voted for help for regular Americans…they fall all over themselves to give unneeded tax cuts for the 1%, but for you and me? Nothing…and you can see how much they care about us by their posturing and bitching and complaining….and they are really going on and on about the dems doing the relief plan on their own without “bipartisanship” but I think they are just pissed that Schumer and Biden learned something about the repubs during the fight for the ACA…that no matter how much you compromise and put repub ideas into any bill, they are still going to vote against it so why take that step? Why waste that time when people are going homeless and hungry? To me, that is the best thing they are finally realizing…that repubs don’t want to govern and don’t have any ideas that would make life better for most Americans…you just have to look at the 300+ bills that are being proposed in repub controlled state legislatures that will gut the right to vote for anyone who is not a repub…that is what they are all about…so dems, kill the filibuster and get the new voting rights act passed…that will kill all of this repub cheating and make for fair elections again…geez….
Government that works again…
Well….I don’t want to gush about Joe and the changes he is bringing to almost everyone’s lives here in the US, but damn, after 4 years of bullshit lies and feeding all the money to the rich, it feels good that we have someone on our side again….and finally, the dems are bulldozing the repubs for a change and it is for the people, not for the rich. I mean the recovery act is forecast to cut childhood poverty by 50%…I can’t remember when a piece of legislation did something so well for the people who need it…and the cool thing is that the dems are not apologizing for it but are owning it and the repubs don’t know how to act with over 70% of the people supporting it….I think ole moscow mitch made a huge mistake by not allowing any senator to vote for it just as the idiot McCarthy did in the House….how do they explain voting against help for Americans? The media has even started to tear into the repubs when they whine about the “exploding” deficit by reminding them that in just 4 years of trump, the repubs added over 7 trillion dollars to the national debt and they never once bitched about it….so let’s get to work on HR1 to protect the vote in the entire country from repub voter suppression…and if it means getting ride of the filibuster, then just do it and take away the only thing that gets any repub elected…go Joe…
