Well…I was going to write about the shredding of the rule of law that Barr and the idiot trump are doing right now with dropping the charges against Michael Flynn and letting Paul Manafort out of jail before he has even served a year of his 7 year sentence…along with Barr’s efforts to re-write history and destroy the Mueller investigation by making up wrongdoing by Mueller and his deputies…and the thousands of former DOJ officials who have called for Barr to resign of to be investigated for his illegal use of the justice department for political purposes…but all of this happening with the tacit approval of one of the major political parties just makes me sick….so, I’m going to leave this right here for now…oh, and the supreme court that McConnell packed for trump is going to declare him above the law even though the founders of this country specifically said that no one is above the law…even a president, but that doesn’t matter to the conservative hacks on the court…they don’t give a damn about the rule of law or what the constitution says…they are just making it up as the go along and that is going to be Roberts legacy…heading up the most lawless partisan court in the country’s history….okay, you get my drift and why I am so depressed with all this crap….you know, I should be pretty happy right now…still alive with no virus, some cash in the bank….but what the hell does that mean when these assholes are destroying this country? I need a break from all this crap….

Being a “warrior” is only for the little people…
Well….with the idiot trump and his stupid mini trump governors plowing ahead with “opening” the country in complete disregard of the science that says we are nowhere close to being able to do that safely, and with the new meme that the right is pushing that people need to be “warriors” and put their lives at risk to get profit flowing back into the pockets of the 1%, I find it so damn funny…or ironic that while the little people are being told to put their fears of dying aside and get back to work, a WH aide went on fox “news” the other day to decry that going to work was “scary” and that he was a he-man for doing it….never mind that everyone going into the WH is tested every day and their treatment is the best in the country if they do get sick, it is still almost too “scary” to keep going to work…but meat packers? Nope, working shoulder to shoulder doing backbreaking work for little pay in place where upwards to 90% of the workers get sick…but you know what they don’t do? Go on fox news to whine about it…that is the typical repub, folks…any little danger that they personally have to face is the worst thing in the world and they are “heroes” for doing it…everyone else? Not so much…get back to work and die peons…I need my pork loin…
The “hoax” invades the WH…
Well…I would laugh but I won’t enjoy anyone being exposed to this damn virus…but there is a little irony in the fact that the coronavirus has reached the WH with at least two confirmed positive cases there and quite a few people going into self-isolation with their exposure to those people….but, the idiot pair of pence and trump still refuse to wear masks since neither one of them understand how the virus is transmitted with the idiot in chief commenting that he was “surprised” that a person can test negative for a long time and then all of a sudden they are positive…cripes, that’s how viruses work you moron….and today, idiot boy is having another one of his fascist rally/virus presentation photo ops in the Rose Garden when he doesn’t have a clue who may be carrying the virus…and it can be spread before it shows up on the test…but he is too stupid to understand that so on he goes…putting more people at risk just so he can get his ego fluffed and showing just how much he doesn’t care about anyone but himself…he just needs to be gone….

Well…the poor baby squatting in the WH is having a sad over his sinking electoral prospects and is moping around because no one is doing anything about it…he’s not having a sad because 80,000 Americans have died from his incompetence and bungling…nope, that would need idiot boy having empathy for anyone but himself and we all know he doesn’t….and he has made the choice to stop any federal response to the virus since that would emphasize that he is a lying sack of shit who is killing almost 3,000 Americans every damn day. The new plan for repubs in general is to deflect from their part in this massacre by leaving trump in office when he was clearly guilty and incompetent….and blaming everything on China and Obama if you can believe it…and they are even going back the old chestnut of Russia’s proven interference in installing trump was nothing but a hoax…and idiot boy tweeted over 120 times just today…and not one thing about 80,000 dead, just conspiracy theories and hate…not something that a sane person would do. So, I’m happy that this frickin moron is having a sad…hey trumpy bear, you ain’t never seen sad until your sorry ass is out of office and in jail…NY state is still coming for you and there is not a damn thing you can do about it…

Well…the deranged squatter in the WH went off on another twitter rant today about the idea that there must be a scam involved since California lets people vote by mail…which they have for years…and he is so damn dumb and addled that he doesn’t get that Californians can vote in person, too if they want…..ranting that they opened A voting booth in a democratically controlled area so the dems just have to be cheating…cripes…project much? Look dimwit…if you had half a brain and weren’t so damn ignorant, you would know that most states have varied ways to vote…as here in Michigan where we have no reason permanent absentee voting where anyone can request an absentee ballot and they don’t need a reason to request it…due to a citizens initiative that passed in 2018 but we also have in person voting for those who want to vote that way…I know what you’re scared of with mail in voting…you even said the all too rare bit of truth when you commented that a repub would never be elected again if there is universal mail in voting….that the repubs can’t suppress or play their voter ID games with…with this asshole still squatting in the WH and spewing his ignorance, it feels like we’re all in an abusive relationship…and it is so damn tiring…can November come quickly?

Well….this is going much as I expected…it’s 9:10 and I’m bored already…so, that’s why I’m back here already…think I’ll do some short takes and see what happens…if you needed any reason to delete facebook, Zuckerberg just got on board with the idiot trump and has started to remove opposition ads from the Lincoln Project that tell the truth about trump and his bungling of damn near everything…so, unless you want to support trump and his cronies, stop using facebook…I have…now, that latest on the idiot is that he has ordered the “re-opening” guidance from the CDC suppressed, not that it is wrong or anything but just that it will make trump look bad since it directly contradicts what idiot boy has been saying and would give the opposition more ammunition that trump is in over his head….every damn thing is politics to this asshole…he doesn’t care one whit about Americans dying, just his re-election…but, I’ve said that before as has everybody in the fact based community…..look, we all know that idiot boy is delusional but his latest ad that uses praise from Putin is otherworldly delusional and stupid….who is it aimed at? His base could be the only target since no one on the left thinks having Putin as your buddy is an argument that will carry the day after Putin installed the wrecking ball in the WH….what else? Okay, that’s enough for now even though I’m bored…will probably be back here for a few more today since I need to be doing something, anything to stave off the boredom…

Well…yeah, I’m running late for this one today with being busy with all kinds of other stuff that has left me sore as heck…it even hurts to type so this one is going to be short…if you are getting disheartened with all of the damage that trump and his cronies are doing to this country, just remember one thing…everything they do can be undone if we just get the hell out and vote in November. Just today, we had the trump toady Barr put his fingers in another case by dropping the charges against Michael Flynn who admitted to lying to the FBI and plead guilty to that and other charges…but that doesn’t matter to Barr…he dropped the charges anyway and the speculation is it was to head off the idiot trump pardoning Flynn since the pardon could be used against trump in the campaign…not that he wasn’t guilty, the justice department is now just another part of idiot boy’s campaign apparatus…and that is something that has never happened in the history of this country. But, guess what doesn’t happen, the evidence against Flynn doesn’t magically disappear…it will still be there when an ethical AG is appointed by Biden in January and the charges can then be re-instated and Flynn will still pay for his betrayal of this country…and this goes for every other damn thing trump is doing….letting polluters off the hook for killing people? Not after January….favoring red states over blue? Done after January….and so on and so on….all we need to do is vote and this nightmare will be over…and trump will be in jail….
31 million out of work…
Well…if the idiot trump’s incompetence wasn’t clear before, and really, it has been damn clear for years now, the new number of unemployed will clear out all of the smog…31 million Americans out of work…let’s put that in perspective…this is the same percentage of people that were out of work in the great depression…24-25%…even at the trough of the great recession of 2008, the unemployment rate only reached 10%….and the carnage isn’t over yet….layoffs are still happening with at least another 5-7 million yet to come…so I guess trump does have a record that everyone can point to. The bitch of the whole thing is that it didn’t have to happen…many other economies in developed countries who have competent leaders who don’t just hold rallies and golf are doing so much better than the US…and let’s shut the repub apologists up right here….that the virus is an “act of god” that no one could have done better against…just look at Germany and France for example, who do have competent leaders who believe in science and think it IS their responsibility to protect their nations…same virus but different outcomes…many fewer deaths and much less economic damage…and all of the pain here was and is still being caused by the fact that trump is just so damn stupid…and he doesn’t really care about what the effects are on regular Americans…repeat after me…he only cares about getting re-elected and that is why he wants the economy to be “opened” no matter how many deaths it causes…but re-election is not going to happen even if he learns to shit gold and gives a million dollars to everyone….he is going to continue to kill Americans by his stupidity…and when the number reaches 200,000 or more as the summer comes, more and more people are going to have a friend or relative that has died because of trump and who, other than trump zombies, will vote for the idiot who killed grandma, or sister, or brother, or son, or daughter, or grandpa? Not many of us who live in the sane world that’s for sure…..

Well…hey, idiot boy, didn’t you say that there were only going to be 15 cases of the virus and that “it will be gone soon”…then didn’t you say that there would be 30,000 dead and that meant you had done a”terrific job” of dealing with the virus? Now, I wonder where those goalposts are? Yeah, mounted on the back of Lamborghini that you are driving at full speed trying to keep up with the results of your bungling of the response…now where are they? Halfway to Cleveland as you announced that there was going to be at least 100,000 deaths but then your “secret assessment” that includes the effects of “reopening” the country predicts this stupid move is going to cost the country 3,000 deaths a day…and, let’s do the math….3,000 times 30 is 90,000 deaths in just one month…and as more and more people are exposed that could rise to more than a million a month….and that means the goalposts are now in the middle of the Pacific ocean mounted on a 4 engine ocean speedboat moving at 150 mph. And he still takes “no responsibility” when all of the experts say that if he had actually done anything in January and February, 90% of the deaths would have been prevented….I guess this is one thing that the idiot trump will be the “best” at…killing Americans with millions of deaths on his hands…more than the Civil War, more than every other war combined….I wonder where the goalposts will be next week…the moon? Space X has probably been contacted by idiot boy to use a Falcon 9 for that move….and trump tweets as Americans die….
50 years ago today…
Well….May 4th 1970….four dead in Ohio…four students killed at Kent State University for exercising their first amendment rights to protest the actions of their government…this one hurts every year…as a 16 year old kid staring down the very real possibility of going to Vietnam to die for whatever reasons, these murders shattered what was left of the innocence and pride that I felt to be an American…I mean, how can the government send soldiers to kill students who did nothing but assemble and protest? Until that point I believed that the government of the US operated in good faith but that naivete was only the safety blanket that had insulated a 16 year old who only thought of 16 year old things til that day….but the thought of kids who were just a little older than I was being killed just because they pissed off Nixon and the others who were running the government really shocked me and took away the safety that I felt…I still feel that day even 50 years later…and seeing the archival footage shows me how we haven’t progressed as a nation at all in that 50 years…and I still think Neil’s song says it best…just substitute trump for Nixon….”tin soldiers and Nixon comin, we’re finally on our own…” RIP…..Allison, Sandra, Jeffrey, and William…
