Well….as the virus explodes again here in Michigan and our competent governor is forced to take steps again to stop the spread with closing dine in restaurants, bars, and schools for three weeks…we get the predictable comments from trump’s toady, Scott Atlas, who is supposed to be running the covid response…that the people of Michigan should “rise up” to stop the new restrictions…never mind that governor Whitman was the target of a kidnapping and murder scheme that was spurred on by the idiot’s comments on earlier restrictions and this comment will probably do the same this time for the gun-toting morons that belch “freedom” every time government tries to protect us from their stupidity. Look, trump’s cronies did nothing for Michigan when this pandemic started and are still doing nothing as we reach a million new cases a day in the US so they should just shut the hell up and stay out of Michigan’s business…and let our governor do what’s best for this state by listening to the experts and not some washed up doctor who is not an expert in anything but kissing trump’s ass….god, I can’t wait for these assholes to be gone…

Just go away…
Well….as the idiot in chief continues his revenge tour by replacing everyone that he can in the government, I really wish he would just go away…with the virus rampaging through the country at the highest levels since the pandemic started earlier in the year and idiot boy actively doing his best to sabotage Joe’s attempts to get started on doing what the idiot refuses by ordering his minions to not cooperate with Joe’s transition team, I wish he would just go away and let the competent people who care about the country and Americans work on controlling the virus. Look, I think trump is just too stupid to understand that all of the changes he is making and all of the people he is appointing will be fired on January 20th at about 1pm, right after Joe is sworn in so why doesn’t trump just go to one of his ugly golf courses and stay there until then? He is the just worthless and never really did the job of president anyway….just go away and leave us frickin alone….
Good news from Michigan…
Well….how about we dispense with politics for a minute and talk about something else that is really important to the people of Michigan? Yesterday, governor Whitmer revoked the easement for Enbridge’s line 5 oil pipeline that runs under the Straits of Mackinac and that means that it must be shut down in 180 days…and that is good news for us here since the majority of our drinking water comes from Lake Michigan and Lake Huron and any oil spill in the straits would pollute both lakes and crash our economy. A couple of years ago, we came so close to that spill when a barge dragged it’s anchor across the dual pipelines and it was only by luck that the lines were only dented and not ruptured but how much luck can we count on with pipelines that were installed the year I was born…and I’m really old? Now Embridge has proposed digging a tunnel lined with concrete to put the lines in but why? It’s the reason why there is no offshore oil drilling allowed in the Great Lakes…that any spill would cause damage that the lakes may never recover from and the economic disruption would be catastrophic to the people of Michigan…and all so an oil company who is responsible for the worst oil spill in Michigan history can continue to rake in profits while they put the state at risk? I applaud Governor Whitmer’s tough stance to protect the environment and the people of Michigan…and now we have a dem controlled supreme court that will follow the law and protect Michigan from business that doesn’t give a damn about anything but profit…
Rats, meet sinking ship…
Well…with no pool shooting today due to covid concerns, I though I’d come here and do a short one on more rats deserting the sinking ship of trump…just over the past two days, two law firms that were working on the trump delusion that he could overturn the legal results of the election have quit…in both PA and Arizona, two different firms have asked to allowed to withdraw from any further legal action on the part of trump as he flails around and just won’t accept that he lost by the largest amount of votes in history…and part of the reason for these withdrawals is the public shaming of these companies by a lot of organizations the shone a light on their anti American activities and made sure their other clients knew what they were doing…I wonder who trump will get now? Barry the ambulance chaser? Or I wonder if he will get Rudy to do it? Whoever they find, the new firms will be worse than the ones that just quit and those firms were 0-15 so I really don’t think this is going anywhere…and you know I think it’s just a grift anyway…a way to squeeze a few more dollars out of the rubes…I wonder how many rats there still are on the trumptanic?
Here’s the reason…
Well…there has been massive speculation on why the idiot trump has knee capped every head of the military and the IC since he lost the election last week…but there really isn’t any need to speculate…it’s clear that this is just another tactic to cover up his incompetence and wrongdoing and to hit back at critics and try to prove that Russia didn’t help him in 2016. The people he replaced, the sec def and others, were mildly competent and had shown that they would buck him in certain instances…as Esper did when he resisted putting troops in the streets to attack peaceful protesters in DC…and I’m sure they would have resisted the wholesale destruction of records that trump is counting on his new toadies to carry out before Jan 20th…you only have to look back at the entirety of idiot boy’s term where they wouldn’t even provide any information even under subpoena since they knew it would reveal lawbreaking across trump’s entire administration…so those records have to go even though that would be breaking even more laws…which I don’t get since once Joe takes over, all of this criminality will be exposed and these new toadies will be exposed to jail time. So, a coup? Nope, just trump covering his ass while he still can…
The idiot continues to lose…
Well…this whole not riding thing has freed up way too much time for me so I thought I’d come here and do another one of these while I finish up my last cup of coffee…the idiot boy must just be fuming with going 0-12 in lawsuits to try to overturn the election…but he just keeps filing them…I wonder what the final count will be? Just this morning, he got a bit more bad news on two fronts…the international organization that idiot boy invited in to “watch” the election put out a statement saying they saw absolutely no fraud of any kind in the states they were observing…and then they put out a statement that he should stop lying about it since it undermines the public’s faith in our electoral process…ouch. Then he has the NYT this morning with the front page headline: “Election officials nationwide find no fraud”…that one must sting, too, but will it stop his lying crap? Notp…as I said yesterday, he needs to keep his cult whipped up so they will continue to give him money since his campaign is broke. While all this is going on, the rest of the country knows that Joe won the election with a poll from yesterday saying that 80% of Americans agree that he won…so we are going to move inexorably toward the inauguration and trump is going to be gone on the 20th of January no matter what he does….and he is hiding in his bunker right now…not being seen in public for 5 days…tick tock, asshole…

Well….if you look closely at the “voter fraud” bleating of the repubs that are going on since the idiot boy lost the election you can see that even if they won all of the lawsuits and had those ballots thrown out they would still be behind and won’t have won the election. So, what would be the reason they are doing it other than they just hate democracy and are looking for any way to stab at it? You just have to look at the 200 fundraising e-mails that have gone out since this bullshit started…look, idiot boy’s campaign is broke and there is no way they are going to pay the 3 million dollars to get a recount in Wisconsin or any other state….but what they can do is squeeze more cash out of the rubes so trump can leave office with 20 million bucks and then set up rallies to keep the grift going…and that’s what he wants anyway…to still be able to to do the rallies and work up the idiots who follow him but not have to do any real work…it’s not like he does any now but after he is out of office, all he will have to do is show up, rant a little, and cash the checks…which is right up his alley…so it’s all a grift and he is going to use this chaos to make money…after all, he is going to need it with 400 million in personal loans coming due next year….

Well…you knew that the idiot trump was not going to go quietly or make the transition to Joe an easy one…and yesterday, his crony that runs the GSA has refused to send the transition letter that allows the winners to access funds necessary for the transition process…and I’m sure trump called her and told her the same bullshit he has been peddling in the news…that the election is not over yet and he hasn’t lost and will “probably” win after more votes are counted so she shouldn’t send the letter. Now, we’ve seen this asshole shred the norms of our society on a daily basis, but this bit of pettiness could only come from trump…in every other transition in every other presidential election, the letter was sent the day after the election was called or even the day it was called…but we all knew trump wouldn’t do it…and with the virus raging across the country, this bit of bullshit is going to delay Biden’s virus committee from getting a flying start and could cost another 100K American lives…but, idiot boy doesn’t care about any of that…he only wants his revenge on everyone who didn’t kiss his ass enough…just as firing the Def Sec this morning was…just pure revenge for Esper bucking him and not putting troops in the street to attack Americans. god, I can’t wait for that asshole to be gone….
I refuse to forgive and forget…
Well…as predicted, pundits all over the country are flapping their gums and telling our side that we must try to “understand” trump voters and their lives and move on from the hatred of trump…I call bullshit on that whole idea…I refuse to forgive and forget what those people did to our country by voting trump into office in 2016 and then reveling in his hatred and racism and letting their own fly like a flag…making this country a cesspool of misoginy and xenophobia and loving the fact that children…damn it, children were ripped away from their parents and put in cages just because they were fleeing violence in their own countries. These are not “American” values…and this is not political, this IS all about values, how you treat other people and try to do anything to make this country a better place…but, 70 million Americans still think that the idiot trump and his hatred is just what they want….and that will never be my values or that of any of us on the left…the right has no values if they still want trump…and how do you reconcile that with the love for others that we have? It is time for them to understand us…not the caricature that has been built by fox news and right wing radio but who we really are…I have absolutely no hope that any person on the right even has the capability or desire to change…they don’t think they need to…and that is a chasm too big for us to bridge…and I am in no mood to build one….

Well…with the news that they don’t have to deal with the orange moron anymore, there has been an outpouring of support and relief from our allies across the world…with the kind of words no one would ever say about idiot boy…like “friends” and “looking forward to working with the president elect” “we have shared values”, “looking forward to stability in our relationship”…there were even fireworks set off by the mayor of London as he congratulated Joe….I hope this keeps up and idiot boy really gets to understand that not one world leader liked or respected him other than the thugs like him…and even they didn’t like or respect him…they just knew he was so damn dumb they could manipulate him easily with just a few words of praise…now the long task starts to repair the damage that idiot boy did…like stopping his stupid trade war, re joining the Paris Climate accords on day on, and reaffirming our support for NATO. I really do think that the world understood that the US was off the rails because of trump and his minions and with Joe and Kamala in charge, our respect around the world will skyrocket since they know we will be a dependable partner again….man, it feels good to feel good about this country again…
