Well…as you all probably know, Elon Musk bought twitter and is doing his best to destroy it by letting racist right wing bullshit to flood the site…and firing almost everyone who worked there…including all of the content moderators who made sure there wasn’t the fascist crap that dominates some sites out there…so lots of the people I follow have been searching for a new social media site that won’t allow the right wing bullshit to pollute it…and lots of them have migrated to Mastodon so I signed up for an account earlier today and that’s why I’m late getting to this one today…damn, the last thing I wanted to do was to learn how to run a new platform but the deterioration that I saw in twitter left me no choice…and with ole elon today blocking anyone who disagrees with him…and that means any one on the left who criticizes his repub cronies…so I guess I’ll dig deep and learn a new site…maybe it will give me something to do…who knows? At the very least, I don’t want to support anything elon anymore…we don’t need more billionaire assholes ruining this country…

57 Russian bots…
Well…when ole elon said that nothing would change on twitter after he took over, he was either stupid or lying…since he took over last Friday, I’ve had 57 Russian bots follow me when I had a total of about 8 followers who were real people before…and there is really no reason for anyone to follow me on twitter, I don’t post there very often and when I do, it something about music or riding the bike or some such nonsense that it would not interest anyone but me…but now I have over 60 followers and the funny think is the pictures they have attached to the accounts are all good looking women…kind of a clue to the fact that they are Russian bots. So, again ole elon is doing Russia’s work for it by cutting the content moderation and the bot detectors back to the point that most of twitter is going to be bots, not anyone you want to hear from…and that will mean that Russian disinformation and lies about our elections is going to explode over the next week…basically making twitter useless…good job elon…geez…
Could it be karma?
Well…you know, there are times that I do believe in karma and that people get what they deserve when they are so damn terrible people…and yesterday was one of those days when Tesla’s stock dropped almost 140 billion dollars in reaction to ole elon borrowing against it to buy twitter…and the sick thing is that it means nothing to elon…he still has 300 billion dollars and there is just something wrong with that…and the shenanigans have already started at twitter with conservative assholes gaining thousands and thousands of followers while the progressive voices have been losing them hand over fist…even Mark Hamill has lost over 8,000 followers since the sale of twitter was announced…and ole elon’s freedom of speech bullshit has been revealed to be just that…all he wants is to be free of twitter’s moderators and be able to attack whoever he wants…starting with some twitter execs who were then piled on by all of the deplorables who elon is allowing back on twitter…okay, he doesn’t own it yet so I’m not sure how much he had to do with it but he was setting the example that attacks are just peachy with him if they are to support him…hmmm…who does that sound like? trump? Yep….and he is just trying to intimidate people who work for twitter to show them that when he is in charge, they will have hell to pay if they cross him…and that is exactly what elon does…when he disagrees with someone or they disagree with him, he wants twitter to be able to launch an even bigger attack that the people he is attacking can’t respond to…and that is not “free speech”, it is just another rich guy trying to shut everyone else out of any conversation…after all, the only people these rich assholes think should have the right to speak to them are other rich guys…geez…
Quitting twitter after today….
Well…I really hate frickin billionaires….with the pandemic windfall the all of these parasites made over the past two years, they now have trillions of dollars to take over the country and it’s communications…and today, Elon Musk is going to buy twitter with some of that free money and I, for one, am not going to help him make even more money so I will be leaving twitter after today. Look, the country just does not need another trump humper in charge of another huge part of the news/communication infrastructure like they have taken over most radio and television stations in this country…and the only reason he’s doing it is to help the far right spread their hate and propaganda since twitter now has rules in place to stop the spread of disinformation and lies but when he is owner, those rules go away and it turns into just another parler or gab where lies will be the currency of the day and support for the killing of our democracy is one of it’s prime purposes. This is the reason we need a billionaires tax that keeps this much power from the hands of a few right wing assholes who don’t give a damn about anything but themselves…bye,bye twitter…
73% less misinformation…
Well…cripes..if you didn’t understand how toxic and damaging the idiot boy’s lies were, you just have to look at the study done after trump was thrown off every social media platform after the January 6th attacks that found that misinformation on the web declined by 73% as a result of that ban…yep, lies and misinformation dropped by 3/4ths just by shutting the asshole in chief up. I know that after the twitter ban, personally I felt better not having to hear about anything that idiot had to say….but we also have to realize that he wasn’t alone…millions of people retweeted the ravings and lies that came from all of this morons administration and the weak minded of them believed it all…and still support trump and his lies…so, what do we do about them? Surely not try to understand them because I don’t give a damn about anyone who stops thinking and joins a cult like trump’s that is directly against what this country stands for…and no healing, either…every damn one of them has to be rooted out and made to pay for the damage they’ve done before we should even listen to these assholes anymore…it’s their turn to understand the damage they’ve done and they need to fix it….geez…
The toddler in chief is angry…
Well…as the country and the media finally get the idea that trump is just a stupid, lying toddler in a 74 year old body and have started to call him out on it, he went into a meltdown over something twitter did that surprised the hell out of everyone…they actually flagged two tweets as being lies. I know you’ve seen and heard the repubs go to lie of voter fraud across this country that has never been supported by evidence…and with the idea gathering support that the only way to have safe elections this fall is to expand on vote by mail, as they have here in Michigan, idiot boy has used his two remaining brain cells to understand that if there is widespread vote by mail, the normal repub tactics of voter intimidation and suppression won’t work anymore and they are in a world of hurt…so, of course trump grabs at the “voter fraud” lie and pushes it relentlessly on twitter…as he has with 53,000 other lying tweets on other subjects he has posted there…but this time, twitter flags these two tweets as lies and points people to a fact check site to get the truth…and predictably the idiot boy just explodes with his ignorance of the constitution, threatening to shut down twitter…yadda,yadda…because his 1st amendment rights to lie to the country are being violated by a big bad company…hey,idiot boy…cripes, do I have to tell you this again? The only way to violate anyone’s 1st amendment rights is if the government keeps you from saying what you want to say…companies are allowed to have their own rules on what speech they will allow and there is not a damn thing you can do about it….this is just another example of how ignorant this asshole is about almost everything…how does it feel trumpie? Being called out for your lies for a change? Keep it up twitter…and hey Zuckerberg…how about your trashy facebook doing the same? It’s time…
Devin Nunes is such a snowflake…
Well…I think we were all amused with the antics that Devin Nunes showed when he was twisting himself into knots protecting trump from any oversight when the repubs controlled the House…other than the fact that he was protecting the biggest criminal to ever infest government…and, over the past few days, we have seen even more from the biggest snowflake in the House when his fee fees were hurt by parody twitter accounts called Devin Nunes’ Mom, and Devin Nunes’ Cow whose sole purpose is to make fun of the idiot’s behavior. Now, in about of the most snow flakey behavior I have ever seen, ole Devin has sued twitter and these two accounts for 250 million dollars alleging “emotional distress” from having these accounts make fun of his stupid behavior….now, as we see every day, the repubs don’t know what’s in the constitution and really don’t care…but this one just makes me laugh since a public figure is fair game to ridicule for his behavior, or his looks, or anything else that satirists decide is funny at the time…it’s not up to Nunes to decide what other people can say about him…so, this suit is going to explode and probably kill a judge from laughter if it ever even gets to court. One unintended consequence the ole Devin didn’t plan on was that, with his help, the devincow twitter account now has more followers than he does…and that means that instead of silencing it, the idiot Devin has just made sure that more and more people will know just how ridiculous he is….poor, poor snowflake…
Are all repubs morons?
Well…you know, every time I hear a repub talk one question pops into my head: “are all repubs morons?” Just over the weekend, the majority leader of the house, Kevin McCarthy, went off on a rant that twitter is censoring conservatives and he was going to haul the ceo in to testify before the house and explain why…only one little problem with that….the moron doesn’t understand how to use the settings on twitter and had them set to the under 18 setting which filters most political speech out since it can get pretty nasty. Even when it was explained to him by tens of thousands of twitter users, ole Kevin didn’t respond or change the filters…but just kept on with what I guess is this weeks talking point that the mean liberal social media sites are “censoring” conservatives and is still saying he wants to have the ceo’s of all of the social media companies come in and explain themselves…maybe one of those people will be able to explain to the idiot Kevin how to use the sites…he’s obviously not too bright so that may be a stretch….

Well…just sitting here reading the news and, with all of the scandals that are quickly closing in on the idiot trump, the title of this one just popped into my head..”watch out, he’s gonna blow”. It is well reported today that idiot boy became “unglued” when Hope Hicks resigned and that was preceded by another blowup when he heard that she was talking to Mueller…and now, who does the idiot have to talk to who doesn’t think he’s a moron? More telling evidence that the pressure gauge is almost maxed out was the twitter rant he went on this morning attacking Alec Baldwin that was full of spelling errors and that was erased 10 minutes later…I guess one of the staff took his phone away for a few minutes….now, I normally don’t wish ill on anyone…I’m more of live and let live kind of person…but, with the idiot boy, I hope he goes into full meltdown mode soon…the country can’t take much more of his venality and stupidity…and I hope he takes all of the repubs with him….impeach….
Should do some politics…
Well….sitting here a little bored this morning and thought I really should get back to talking a little about politics…there was a little nugget in the news this morning about testimony that the heads of twitter gave to the senate committee that is investigating the Russian attack on this country during the election…oh, and one more thing…the attacks are still going on and trump and his cronies are not doing anything about it…not one damn thing…okay back to twitter…when the people at twitter investigated, they found that there were 50,000 bots that were tweeting and re-tweeting trump propaganda….to the total of over 2 million tweets from September ’16 to the election…and the kicker is that trump and his campaign knew it was happening and didn’t report it, which they are required by law to do. But, when has breaking the law ever been a problem for trump and his idiots? I’m not sure how much longer it is going to take for charges to be filed against these idiots…but there is one little fact that everyone should remember…guess who the prosecutor was who finally got John Gotti, the “teflon don”? Yep, Robert Mueller…this is going to get good soon…..impeach….
