Well…I’m doing this one again…after I posted the last one, this one disappeared…it was an okay day yesterday…I did win at pool but like crap all day…and I am hoping it is a bug and not something serious…slept okay last night but was up really early so that is going to make for another long day…I think the clutch master cylinder is going in the car…the pedal keeps changing and it is getting really annoying so I may have some repairs to do later in the week….okay…that’s enough for now…need to watch the Wings…
The right has gone completely frickin crazy…
Well…as I was reading some of the online stuff today, I came across the latest bout of outrage aimed at Obama from the right and I am just shaking my head at this one…as a little background, Obama was doing a presser with the head of Turkey the other day in the Rose Garden, and due to poor planning, it started to rain while Obama was making his remarks and one of the marine detail held an umbrella over him….well…the idiots on the right exploded calling it another reason to impeach Obama…Marines are never allowed to do that…he picked a white Marine since he is a racist…that Obama can’t order a Marine to do that…and many, many more asinine statements that just show they plain just hate the guy and no matter what he does, it is wrong. No matter that every president since FDR had Marines doing that for them and there are even photos of Reagan and both Bushes having an umbrella held for them….these folks on the right have just gone over the edge with this one…maybe this will be the one that makes the rest of the US understand that these folks are crazy…sure hope so….geez…
The real Benghazi scandal…
Well….with all of the repub outrage over Benghazi when there was never really any there there…we now have a real scandal but it is one that can be pinned on the repubs…late last week, ABC news reported on the “smoking gun” e-mails that were supposed to show that there was some sort of coverup by the WH..of what, no one is really sure, and the funny thing is that this was before the e-mails were released by the WH…so this means that some member of Congress must have given them to ABC…and the even worse thing is that the e-mails were doctored by someone (read repubs) to make it appear that there was a coverup…so, what we have is that these thugs are using the deaths of four Americans for pure partisan reasons and when the facts don’t support their narrative, they just lie and continue on as if their lies are the truth….now here is a real scandal that ole Issa should be investigation…oh, wait, that will never happen…the repubs don’t want the truth they just want the black guy gone….geez…

Well…running late today and I think it’s because the malaise that has settled here is still here this morning…hard to get motivated to do anything, really….slept okay last night for the first time in a week but I know it was from the cocktails so I can’t really judge if it will be a pattern or not….but, I do feel crappy today and I’m not sure if the trade-off is worth it….I have been trying to eat enough but it has been harder than expected…I think I’ll have a bagel before the bike ride to try to see if the dead legs were from the lack of fuel…that said, I think I’ll go make one and have more coffee….more later…
Just can’t get motivated…
Well…have been sitting here thinking about some political stuff but just can’t get motivated to write about it…not sure if it is the no sleep, not eating right, or just general malaise, but I’m not sure what to do about it….so, I think I’ll just muse a little…the new trans oil is working out okay…much smoother shifts and I can get it into first gear at stoplights much easier….there is still something going on with one of my friends and I’m not sure what it is…or if I should care about it, really….consistent pattern but still irritating…at least today…this is the last day I’m going to think about it….did get a nice, long bike ride in today but the legs were dead the whole 15 miles and I think that points to not eating right….or enough….and, I have been good all week so that can’t be it….but, that ends tonight with it being a cocktail night…I do need a night of just pure relaxation to shut the brain off for a while….oh, one political thing…I just love the way that people are starting to push back on the right’s nonsense with the heads of the Benghazi commission being the latest to go after ole Issa…and the idea that he knows that these guys will crush him with the truth so he proposes that they be the only witnesses that testify in private? So he can manipulate what part of the truth gets out….what a maroon…geez…

Well…it was a long day yesterday and the Wings lost bad…and I really did not enjoy going out to watch them so I think that will be it for me….NBC is going to kill the league by putting all the games on channels that only a few get and I won’t pay more to see it…slept like crap and I am worn out today…didn’t do a whole lot yesterday and today looks about the same other than doing the grocery run this morning…and cleaning around here…I am going to try to cook something new today since I am so bored with pork loins and chops…maybe something bad for me….that tastes good….more later…
Pushback against the thugs…
Well…just a short little one on the testimony that Eric Holder gave at the idiot Issa’s committee today…I know ole Darrell was thinking that he had an easy target to score points for the crazy assed right….but they didn’t count on Holder pushing back on this continuous nonsense that Issa especially has been doing…using his committee to waste money on all of these “investigations” that have not yielded one instance of wrongdoing by anyone…okay, back to the pushback…in the committee there was some heated exchanges and then Holder laid the smackdown on Issa…”…It is inappropriate and too consistent with the way in which you conduct yourself as a member of Congress. It’s unacceptable, and it’s shameful…” Let me add that it’s about time that everyone in the Obama administration treats these idiots as the partisan idiots that they are and stop caring what they think…Issa needs to get back to the work of the people…not his personal witch hunts and we can help him by telling him he is ridiculous whenever we get the chance…
May 15th
Well…running really late today and, if you checked earlier, you could see why…the servers were crashed again this morning and my son just got it back up and running again…it was an okay day yesterday but I was just so worn out all day…I think from not eating enough and the lack of sleep….feel much better today and did a long bike ride to celebrate…I did get the new trans oil in the Miata yesterday but took about half the skin off my right forearm trying to get the fill plug out…ended up taking out the back up light switch and using that for a fill hole…looks like it worked since it took all 2 quarts and the trans has not fallen out after a drive…and the oil is pretty good, shifting slicker already and should get better…but, at 45 bucks for 2 quarts, it should cook me breakfast…I am starting to get excited about the Wings game tonight but will have to go out to watch it since I don’t get the damn NBC channel it’s on…keep this crap up and they are going to kill the NHL….might be okay to get out around people….more later…
The only thing you need to know about the IRS “scandal”
Well…the repubs have raised hypocrisy to an even new level over the past couple of days with their insistence that the IRS scrutinizing some right wing non profits is the same as Watergate…and Obama should be impeached….yada, yada…what the hell is it with these guys? I really hate to bring up ole GW since he is better off unseen and unheard, but not one repub said a word when progressive groups were targeted when ole GW was in office…and, the head of the IRS during these operations that the repubs are bitching so much about was a GW appointee….this crap is nothing more than a continuation of the throw everything at Obama with as much pretend outrage as they can muster and hope that no one notices they aren’t doing one damn thing to help put people back to work or to solve the college loan crisis or, or, or…and on and on….what a bunch of idiots…geez…

Well…running late again today and I do feel like crap from the damn allergies today and from not eating enough yesterday….I did get the chance to go out and meet up with C for a couple but that was really the extent of the day…slept like crap last night…not going down until 12:30 and the back up at 4:30….so that doesn’t help, either….I did get the car detailed yesterday but then it’s covered in pollen again today so what’s the point? I am going to go out and try to find the super gear lube from Ford to change the oil in the trans and it is going to hurt at 20 bucks a quart…or more…might even try to get it done today depending on how I feel later…but I still need to work out and ride so I should get to it…more later…
