Well…it was a pretty good day yesterday, getting the car fixed and making a little cash…and the car is quieter than it has ever been…and that presents it’s own problems…now I can hear every other noise it makes and I’ll have to get used to them again…still…pretty stealth….slept okay last night but the dreams were not cool enough to remember…I do remember there were Russian prisons involved but I’m not sure why….not much pain this morning but my shoulder has been giving me some previews of tightness that I hope doesn’t turn into pain…didn’t get out on the bike yesterday with all the rain but I will today…but, I need to wash the car first so I can wax it later today…going to do a complete cleaning, too, so the glass will be acceptable to me….and the interior is dusty so that will have to be done, too…but it is different when you choose to do something to the car instead of having to so something to it….not much to do today…need to work out then take the car to wash…want to hear what it sounds like with the top down….I do need to clean and do some work around here but that can wait until the weekend….more later….

Well…just got home from running some errands and thought I’d just do a little update on the car….took it in this morning to have a stock exhaust installed and couldn’t be happier with it…the stealth Miata returns….I don’t think it has ever been quieter and it feels good to be able to wind it out a little without the sound being so loud I couldn’t hear inside the car….and the guy I took it to for the replacement I found out grew up in the Ada/Cascade area that I did and we had some laughs while he was working on the car….and, I got to hang out in the shop while he was working on the car…something I miss with all the rules that shops have to live by. The kicker was that he asked me what it was worth to me and I said 30 bucks…he said that was too much for 15 minutes of work so he settled on 25 bucks….it’s nice to have something good happen for a change….and to have my car back….

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I got a few things done so that was cool….slept really crappy again and feel pretty worn out this morning but I am running early since I have the stock exhaust that is going on the car at 8 and have to prep for that….the Walker that I got looks good and I hope it is a quiet as it says…Quiet Flow SS….that makes me laugh every time I see it…it will look pretty weird with 4 feet of pipe hanging out the back of the trunk taking it there…..but, that will put this whole saga to rest and I will be able to drive the car normally again….it does not like the short shifting that I have been doing to keep it reasonable….not much to do today…just get the car done and then back here to clean since it is going to rain all day…should be able to get caught up on the bathroom and kitchen today….oh, one last thing…Happy Star Wars Day…more later….

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I got a bunch of stuff done so that was cool….worked from 8 til 3 and I am a little sore from it…but I even got the bike ride in in the aft and don’t feel bad about skipping working out…will do that this morning….have been having some cramps in my calves and big toes out on the bike and I’m not sure what that is about….the toes still hurt now and I hope the traveling tendonitus is not settling there this year….for the second night in a row, I’ve had some dreams but again, I don’t remember them and that is frustrating since that would give me more to write about here…and lately, I’ve needed the help….not much to do today…have to hang around here to wait for the new exhaust to come that I am having installed tomorrow morning…will be nice to get my car back and be able to drive it like it likes….I do have to clean here but the trash bin is full so I will have to wait til they come to empty it before I can get started…more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get anything done….didn’t even get a bike ride in since I had the front tire fail on the way out and didn’t want to chance it splitting and dumping me on the trail…slept okay and had some dreams that I don’t remember so they couldn’t have been very good…not sure why but I feel pretty crappy this morning and am having a hard time getting going…and I have stuff to do today so that is a problem….so I guess I’ll just sit here for a while and hope it gets better…I did eat enough yesterday…I think…so that is not it….hmmmm…not much to do today…need to get some work done around here and then run some errands but that is about it….more later…

Well….it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done….slept okay but wasn’t good so I feel it today….almost didn’t make the goal for the month since I forgot that April only has 30 days in it…I was a little surprised to see 5/1 come up on the phone this morning…forgot to eat dinner last night so that is part of not feeling so great today and I need to do something about that….I wonder when we are going to get to spring? It is cold and rainy again this morning and I’m not sure if I want to brave it for a bike ride today…just can’t get motivated and the coffee is not helping…not much to do today….I should clean but I’m not sure if I will and I need to finish off all of the leftovers so I can cook again tomorrow…more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I won at pool so that was cool….made a little cash, too, so there will be groceries again this week…it was a long day with pool and then errands after and I am feeling it today…not too badly but a little slow…haven’t been on the bike in three days and I will need to get out today…it is too cold right now but there is no wind so I am itching to get out…going to rain this aft so it will have to happen this morning….oh, just checked and this is my 4,500th post here since I started this thing many years ago…that is a hell of a lot of writing and I’m not sure if I’ve learned anything from it or even gotten better as time has gone on…I’ll have to look back to the start to see the progression…might be something to do on a rainy day…not much to do today…have a bunch of stuff to do around here today along with cleaning so that will probably be about it….more later…

Well….it was an okay day yesterday and the only thing I got done was the exhaust…but that saga was in another post so I won’t go into that here….did go out to meet G and had many more than a few to celebrate her getting an offer for a new job…and with cocktails here after that, it is going to be a challenging morning….and I forgot to eat dinner so that is going to compound it…oh, well….felt like crap when I got up but the coffee is helping…got a care package on my door this morning from Brian so I have more fish and and venison to eat…might thaw some and have it for lunch….or maybe take some to Tom…not sure yet…not much to do today…pool, of course, but that is about it…I wonder how loud the car will be when I put the top down later?….more later…

Well….got the car done and this new exhaust is way too loud for me…oh, well…out 180 bucks…I guess I can live with it for a while but I do need to find one that is much quieter…damn….

update: I found an oem super quiet system at rock auto for 130 bucks and ordered it…it comes with a 30 buck rebate so all I need to do is sell the other one for 100 bucks and I will be clear….

Update two: sent a nastygram to the people I bought the exhaust from and they agreed to take it back and return my money…and pay the shipping back….

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I made a little cash so that was cool….slept okay, too…so I have a little energy today…running early today since I have to have the car in to the shop at 8 for the new exhaust and I hope that goes off with no snags….my shoulder seems to be healing from I’m not sure what but there are still twinges of pain that I’m sure I would have aggravated if I would have tried the exhaust…and, it’s raining out there and I hate to get wet so that is a plus, too….feel okay today with being good for the fourth day now and I may make it 5 today…I am getting used to feeling okay…well…okay but for the allergies that are killing me…had to take something for it in the middle of the day yesterday and that is not normal…not much to do today….just the car and the grocery run then back here for cooking and cleaning….more later….
