Well…made it all the way to 6 this morning but with enough tossing and turning that I hurt my ribs again…just sitting still here hurts like crazy but ibuprofen did help yesterday so I think I’ll take some before I get on the bike here in a few minutes…I did get a hummingbird feeder yesterday and it looks like a hot air balloon with hand painted glass for the food container…and it was only 12 bucks but I’m not sure if I’ll get any birds to it…it did take the sparrows almost 3 weeks to find the seed feeder that I put out last fall so I guess I need to be patient…and this one even has little perches that the birds can land on so they don’t have to hover to feed….I finally got the super teflon lube for the bike that I have been waiitng for for a month and got the chain cleaned and lubed since it had to dry overnight…and it won’t leave the sticky black residue that the oil I was using did….I am a little excited to see if it will work as advertised since the chain was making noise as I let it dry out over the past week or so…didn’t get anything done yesterday other than screw around with the garden but I need to get after the front door and get it sanded so I can paint it…but, with my ribs still hurting, I’m not sure if I can handle my angle grinder to smooth out the paint chips…we’ll see…I do think I may have gone overboard with my gardens with all of the stuff that I have in them…I really don’t know how many beans are going to come off one plant and with having 6 of them growing, I may have way too many…cripes I could turn into a vegetarian this summer to use them all….oh, and the potato pieces I planted just came up yesterday so I’m going to have potatoes, too…more later…
The #bunkerbitch was “inspecting”
Well…with “bunkergate” in full swing, okay, I’m trying to get bunkergate to trend with not much luck yet, the idiot in chief had to go on his propaganda network; fox news to whine and cry that he wasn’t hiding in the bunker but had gone down there to “inspect” it to make sure he knew his way around in case of a terrorist attack…okay…yeah…I’m laughing my ass off at that one…since when did trump actually do any work? And he damn sure wasn’t doing any “inspection” when he fled to the bunker to escape the dangerous shouts of people protesting outside…you know, those 50 caliber shouts that can kill from 300 yards away? This moron is falling apart in front of our eyes and when asked about all of the crazy assed shit trump has done in just the past week, every damn repub senator, who by the way left him in office after he was impeached..oh, remember that…he is still the impeached *president…I’d almost forgotten…back to the running senators…every damn one of them have run away when asked about trump gassing protesters to get his photo op….not one of them would answer even when they won’t shut the hell up about everything else….so, let’s try to get #bunkergate trending…maybe on twitter…it would go really well with #bunkerbitch….and guess who it will piss off?

Well…running a little late again this morning and, again, there is no reason for it other than I had to read the news to see what happened overnight…there is a little good news in that my eye appears to be healing some but there is bad news that my ribs aren’t….still hurts to just sit here and do this so I do need to take some ibuprofen before the grocery run today….other than that, I don’t feel too bad this morning…I almost fell into the 3 rides mistake yesterday since I had the second one done before lunch but sanity, what little of it I have, prevailed and I realized I’m not young anymore and that 45 miles in a day could do some real damage to this old body that I inhabit….I did get some gardening done yesterday and have all of the plants out that I had started downstairs…if they all live, everyone I know is going to be tired of getting free produce starting in August…might have to put a table out in the front yard with “free” on it to make sure it doesn’t go to waste…and, I am going to can some of the beans, peppers, and tomatoes since I have quart jars and the pressure cooker to use so I’ll be moving lots of jars when I find a house to buy….going to make my own tomato sauce too, just to try something new…and salsa…I wonder if you can can that? Not much to do today…just the grocery run and then out for the rides…I’m taking a little time off heavy work around here to try to let the ribs heal but I’ll be back at it early next week…I hope….more later….
Attacking Americans for a photo op…
Well…after the chicken in chief hid in his bunker over the weekend because the big tough guy couldn’t take people yelling at him from outside the fence of the WH with it’s hundreds of armed guards…and then shut the light off both inside an outside the WH for some reason…did he think it was Halloween and he wasn’t going to hand out candy so he turned out the lights? The idiot was concerned that being a chicken made him look weak…and damn, everything he does makes him look weak so what changed? Moron boy then had to prove he’s tough by ordering the army to attack peaceful protestors outside the WH with tear gas and helicopters to get rid of them so he could walk to a nearby church for a photo op that miraculously turned into a campaign ad about an hour later…and, by the way, the soldiers who were breaking their oaths and the commanders who ordered the attacks were breaking the law by following an illegal order…trump does not have the authority to order the armed forces to attack Americans on our home soil…and these thugs even gassed the priests at the church to keep them out of the way so trump could get his photo…and what was the response of the “law and order” repubs to this lawbreaking? Hell…I can hear the crickets from here…not a damn one of them even care anymore that trump is breaking the law…they gave him a pass on impeachment and they are giving him another one today…hey army commanders, when Biden is elected this desecration of your oath is not reset, the crimes you are committing can be prosecuted under the UCMJ in January 2021….do you really want to throw your careers away for the idiot trump…Milley, you already have…you are going to end up in the brig next year and no “retirement” will protect you…and the same goes for Barr…criminals all…

Well…damn…my ribs hurt again today after nothing at all yesterday afternoon and that resulted in a 5:01 morning this morning….and my damn eyelid infection is driving me nuts…I get one of those about once a year and it takes a couple of weeks to heal it but it is so damn annoying while I wait…okay, not going to bitch anymore today…had a nice afternoon yesterday with T coming over for a chat and a tour of the house….she’s was only the second person to see the house with the majority of it done and it made me feel good that she recognized how much work has been done by this old guy…I did get the rest of my sprouted veggies planted yesterday and T laughed about how many tomato plants I have…but I had to brute force plant since I have been losing quite a few to some damn animal and to the clay in the soil that I didn’t condition enough before planting…I do hope I can get some more green peppers to sprout since I only have two that have survived and they aren’t looking too good…cripes…just started sneezing from allergies and that hurts the ribs like crazy….will probably need to take something for it today with the “pollen bomb” that has been blaring over the news happens after the wet weather we had last week….not much to do today…going to get out on the bike here in a few minutes since it is already almost 70 outside at 6:17 but I have all day so I think I may relax a little first and have more coffee….it seems like I’m always in a hurry when I really have no place to be and little to do….need to work on that…I may just take a week off here and just enjoy what I’ve done so far…might even lay out in the sun to start to even out the biker’s tan…I have beer and that might be a thing for taking it easy….more later….
Tough guy hiding in a bunker…
Well…the idiot trump sure TALKS tough but when shit gets real…where is he? Hiding in a bunker at the WH meant for nuclear attacks or terrorist attacks…but what does he use if for? To not hear the crowds chanting outside and having a minor skirmish with the police….while he tweets that the Secret Service put the protesters down fast and that he has the mostest, bestest, secret weapons in the WH that can be used on American citizens who are exercising their constitutional rights. Hey right wing tough guys…here is your tough guy leader hiding like the chicken he is….and going farther and farther off the rails as he sits on his ass watching fox news and eating fast food while he does nothing to deal with either the protests or the coronavirus…which aides said he is “done caring about”….as I said the other day, trump has the attention span of a gnat and he is bored with the “wrong” kind of deaths that he can’t use to make himself look better. Any other *president would have talked to the country about both the 103,000 dead from the virus and to try to calm the country in the face of violent protest…but trump’s aides are keeping him from doing it since they know he doesn’t give a damn about anything but himself and is past the point of even being able to fake that he cares….hey trump voters and the rest of you repubs…this is what you did to this country…happy now?
June 1st
Well…running late this morning and it’s because I just can’t get going…don’t feel all that bad but just have no energy…and I’m on the first cup of coffee and that doesn’t help either….slept okay…for me last night but was still up before 6 and that is getting old…okay, that’s enough of the whining…have been down a little lately but I am going to stop that today….I think I did save a couple of sunflowers that had been knocked over yesterday by putting up some support sticks and tying them to the sticks…we’ll see….and I got the rest of the cherry tomatoes planted and will do all of the rest of the stuff that is downstairs today….I think I just need to give up and go with whatever plants survive…I did get my new hose yesterday and now I have enough to reach the entire yard but that was an ordeal….I had to play Amazon delivery guy since the one who delivered here mixed up the address here and across the street but I was able to just trade the packages so that worked out…and my bike lube is coming wed so I can get everything lubed up and stop using the oil that makes a mess…didn’t get much else done yesterday other than the bike rides and cleaning but I do have a nice clean house and that make me happy…I do have to start planning the rest of the outdoor work on the house so I can finish it up this month….but not today…I am going to just do garden work today after the first bike ride but that won’t happen until after 9…it needs to warm up some before I I head out since it is still in the 40′s and I don’t want to be cold anymore….more later…

Well…damn, I’m exhausted…how about you? Not only physically, but mentally too with all of the things that are going on in this country right now…I’m not sure if there is any good news at all except that Biden is up by 10 points in the latest poll released today…oh, and SpaceX successfully launched astronauts to the ISS for the first American launch for almost 12 years….that’s about it….I’m so damn tired but can’t figure out how that doesn’t translate into better sleep…it was another 5 hour night last night and I can’t remember how many days that has been…two weeks, a month? I did get two bike rides in today but probably shouldn’t have…was a little dizzy on the second ride and that is normally caused by dehydration but have been pouring the water down all day today and that may be a reason why I feel so crappy…I am tired of having to work so hard to stay healthy…water water water…and then trying to eat right…and enough food to support the thirty miles daily on the bike…and then being in constant pain with my damn ribs not healing and my toe either….okay…yeah, I know…two days without a political one…and that is another thing…I stress the hell out of myself when I don’t keep up here and that adds to the exhaustion…but, I’ll try to be better tomorrow…where the hell has this year gone?
May 31st
Well…it’s a normal Sunday morning but my damn ribs are hurting worse now than when I crashed and hurt them…owww…didn’t get to bed until after midnight last night but still woke up at 5 or so and got out of bed before 6 so I am a little tired today…I did make the run up to Mt. P yesterday and it was nice to do something finally and to see C for a while….but doing that 200 miles did take a lot out of me…I did skip the bike rides yesterday but I did mow the lawn since I wanted to mulch and the grass was getting pretty long for that…and it looks like one ride at the most today with it only being 41 out there and I will not go full thermasuit anymore…so I’ll wait for the afternoon and get some cleaning done since T is coming over to take a look at the house at some point…I’m supposed to get my new hose and chain lube today and that will be welcome after it took almost a month to get it and I can’t wait to try the dry lube on the chain and shifters…it’s got teflon in it and that should keep the chain from wearing out….I do need to get some planting done today since the new tomatoes and the sunflowers are ready but I am a little confused why the green pepper seeds haven’t sprouted yet….I do need a couple more of those to make sure I’ll have what I need to make salsa later in the summer….more later….
May 30th
Well…man, it’s going to be a busy one today with taking a road trip to Mt P to hang out with C for a while…it’s been too damn long of a house isolation without seeing anyone and with C having older parents on the farm, I know he’s been careful about his social distancing so there’s no problem…damn, my ribs still hurt like crazy this morning and I may have done more than just bruise them when I crashed…might have cracked one or more of them…but, that won’t stop me from getting on the bike this morning and getting a ride on before I take off at 9 or so…or maybe not…I really could use a day off the bike and taking a trip today may just be a good excuse for that…..not sure yet….I do know that I feel pretty crappy right now and that is my fault for having cocktails last night….but I have a couple of hours to feel better and have lots of coffee so that will work out…didn’t get much done yesterday and, of course, won’t get much done today…should be back here by 3 or so but then it will be couch time since driving 200 miles wears me out some….I did get the car washed and waxed yesterday and I do have to remember the sunscreen since I am doing the run with the top down…and I think I’ll use my ear buds for the trip too so I can hear my music….more later…
