Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I won at pool so that was cool…and, 76 degrees in the first part of November? I’ll take that all winter…had the top down out and back and it was a nice drive…slept okay last night and feel okay today except for the lungs still being a pain with way too much coughing…I am ready for this bug to be gone…actually I was ready for it to be gone last weekend but no such luck….I did get the shifter on the bike fixed and it is working as good as it has since the bike was new…it was working so good that I did 30 miles on the bike yesterday…but, I think that was a mistake since I am sore today but a good sore so I guess I can live with that. They are coming to fix my bathroom ceiling today and getting ready for that is a huge pain…just want this mess to be finished…not much to do today…going to just clean around here while the guys work and then get the bike ride in after they leave…more later…

Well…it was an okay but busy day yesterday with going out to have a couple with K and K and then out with G…but it was nice to put the top down on the car and leave it down until I got home…I even washed and waxed it yesterday…slept pretty crappy last night since I forgot to take an antihistamine and that left me plugged up and wheezing all night…and I feel that this morning…just tired as hell and coughing…but, I think the bug is breaking up, finally, at least I hope it is…I would like to be able to breathe again….finally had to tear the bike apart yesterday since it stopped shifting…the lubricant that I had been using on the cables turned hard and basically welded the cable to the sheath…took two hours and lots of simple green to break it up…put a new cable in it since the old one came apart taking it out and it shifts pretty good now…the shifter is still bad and needs to be replaced and the new one came yesterday but I don’t feel like working on it today…later in the week….not much to do today…pool, of course, and some cleaning but that is about it….more later…

Well…running late today with having to run an errand already…and I’m having a hard time getting going without the normal two cups of coffee…slept okay last night and had some dreams that were uninteresting so I won’t relate them here….my lungs are still bad today with more of the coughing that is so annoying and I think part of it is allergies but I can’t be sure there’s not a bug in there, too…don’t feel bad, though, so maybe I’ll get lucky this time…I did have to order a new shifter for the bike but there are other problems with it, too…for some reason the cable is binding up in one of the sleeves and it may be a build up of gunk in there…I’ll take care of that when I put the shifter and new cable in later in the week…it is so damn annoying on the bike that I almost don’t want to ride it…not much to do today…have to run out in a minute and get a card for T’s birthday tomorrow and then the normal stuff but that’s about it…more later….

Well…it was another depressing day today with almost all of my equipment giving me problems….even my car started to leak around the drivers window in the rain yesterday and I’ll have to take a look at that in the next couple of days while it’s still warm…and Chrome crapped out on the computer so I’m back to Firefox and the google people were absolutely no help…I may have to buy a new computer since this one is just getting too old…..and, I spilled chicken fat in the oven when I made lunch which I didn’t notice so when I fired up the oven to make dinner, this whole place filled up with smoke and it stinks now…and, I ran out of febreeze…so, I can’t make the smell go away…you can see why today has not been a good one….going to stop here and go back to the couch…oh, and my lungs are still giving me fits today…yep, just keep piling stuff on….geez…

Well…another month starts and more depression comes…oh,well…it was an okay day yesterday and I made a little cash so that was cool but Chrome stopped working and I had to go back to Firefox…think I need a new computer but will have to try to save the money for it…slept okay but the time change is going to screw me up later tonight…as it always does…need to get out on the bike here in a few minutes since the Lions play at 9:30 and, even though they are terrible, I still want to watch….my lungs are still screwed up and I am coughing like crazy so it will be interesting to see how they fare on the bike…not much to do today…just sports and I hope a nap later…more later…

Well…I almost forgot that I needed to do one more for the month so I guess this is it….Man U is starting to irritate the hell out of me with losing to a championship team in the League Cup this week and then tying at 0-0 today…just a listless,  lackluster performance that just bored the hell out of me…and the Wings have been doing the same after the good start they had…I know they have a pretty young team and a lot of people injured but still…they should be able to score a damn goal once in a while….so, I guess I’ll go watch the Michigan game that is starting right now that I will abandon when Doctor Who comes on….

Well…as you can see I have two more of these to do today so these next two are going to be a little fillerish just so I can make my goal…but, you’ll have to admit the filler level has gone down markedly this year so I guess I’ve that going for me…I did have something weird happen today that I am still trying to figure out…cooking some chicken for lunch today and it was getting towards done so I was going to use my thermometer to check to make sure it was done but I couldn’t find it…looked everywhere in and under everything and still couldn’t find it….so, I was resigned to buying a new one until I decided to check one last place…my trash can…and there it was…I am still trying to figure out how it got in there…must have been with a bunch of used z-locs that I threw away when I was cleaning the counter…makes me feel good that I found it…even though they’re only a few bucks…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday…filled with too much stuff going on but okay…slept okay but I now know for sure that I have a bug of some kind and that is taking away a bunch of energy…have been coughing like crazy again and could barely breathe last night…so it will be an easy day today…just have one errand to run around noon and then I’m not going to do much else but watch soccer and football…I think there may be a race on later, too, so at least I won’t be bored….I did have to cover the hole in my bathroom ceiling since it was pouring cold air into it and it smelled really bad from being wet….I do have a few more of these to do today to get to the goal but right now I’m not sure what they will be…stop back to find out…

Well…it has just been one of those crazy days today that happens sometimes…but, it also included a nice lunch with T so that kind of balanced it out. First the crazy….after I finally got out for a bike ride after two days off because of rain, I came back here and jumped in the shower as I normally do, but, after climbing out, I noticed that there was water dripping from the ceiling above my sink…after I prepared this place…and Tom, you know what that means…I called and they sent a maint guy to take a look. After he cut a hole in my ceiling to see what was happening, water started gushing everywhere and making a huge mess…it turns out the woman above me had put a big hole in her tub and had not bothered to call maint to report it…now I’m not sure where she thought that water was going…but even an idiot would know it wasn’t going down the drain. So, I now have a huge, uninsulated hole in my bathroom ceiling that has to stay open until next wed so it can dry out enough to be repaired…what a pain….

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I got a few things done so that was cool….slept okay but still feel like crap today and I think it’s a new bug that is screwing up my lungs….have been coughing since the morning yesterday and it continues today…and, my head is plugged up, too, so this time it has to be a bug, not allergies…not going to do a pain update today since that is boring even to me…it has been strange not being able to ride the bike the past two days but I am going to get out this morning as soon as the temp comes up enough…I need that exercise and miss it…and, it has been hard to try to not eat more…although this time I have just not felt like eating with the bug so I guess that works out….not much to do today…it is a little weird not having pool on Friday but I do have lunch with T today so that will fill some of the day….and, I don’ think I’d have the energy to make a long day of it…more later…
