Well….running on time today for a Thursday and that is a little boring…I do feel good today with being good for 4 days now but man, nights are a little boring when you’re being good…and when you can’t find anything to watch on tv….oh, well….slept okay last night but was up really early this morning and that was okay since I wasn’t rushed to get out the door for groceries…and now I’m just waiting for the rain to clear so I can get on the bike and get a long ride in…but, I need more than one cup of coffee for that…I did get out to Target to get a new kitchen trash can yesterday…the old one’s top has been broken for 3 years or so and it’s nice to have one that works again….didn’t get much else done yesterday and I’m shooting pool again today so that will mean I won’t get much done today, either…but that’s okay…don’t have a lot to do….I am hoping they finish up the re-pave of the lots here before I leave today so I’ll have a parking space in front when I get back here….more later…

A little politics…
Well…after yesterday’s election, I thought it would be an idea to talk a little about that before I get on to the rest of the day…first up, in the Michigan governor’s race, Gretchen Whitmer won the dem primary over Abdul and Tanedar…could have voted for Abdul with his record of progressive ideas but never for Tanedar…he contributed to Ted Cruz in the 2016 election and is a dem in name only…and he had a bunch of shady deals in his past and we don’t need compromised candidates on our side. Whitmer is up over the repub by 7-8 points in the latest poll and will be our best chance of taking the governor’s office back from the repubs…and I hope we can take one of the houses back here too, and start to repair the damage that Snyder and his cronies have done over the past 8 years. One of the big happenings in Missouri was the passing of proposal A that reversed the repubs attacks on working people by repealing their right to work for less law there…the only purpose of those laws are to attack working people and the unions that made the middle class and I think people are catching on…I hope they try that here, too…I would surely vote to keep the freeloading repubs from hurting unions….last, there was the tussle in Ohio 12 where the dem is still in the running pending the counting of provisional ballots there…this in a district that went for trump by 11 point in ’16 and that the repubs had to pour millions into to basically get a draw…at last count, the repubs outspent the dems by 5-1 and only lead by .7%…so it looks like we have a great chance to take the house this fall…and to start doing the repair work that we dems always have to do after the repubs screw everything up….geez.;…
August 8th
Well….think I’m on time this morning…one of these days, I’m not going to act like I have a schedule and just let thing happen when they will…but, not today…have to go out and move the car in a few so they can tear out the parking lot here and repave it…that is going to be a pain for the next couple of days with all of the noise and smell…may have to put the air on just to keep the smell out…oh, well….slept okay last night but I am having a hard time getting going…the coffee isn’t working yet and I hope it starts soon…the church behind me had some kind of festival yesterday afternoon and it was the most damn annoying thing with the fire trucks constantly using their sirens and even a helicopter landing in the lot…just fricking annoying to the point that I had to close this place up to get some relief….didn’t get a lot done yesterday but will try to do more today…not sure what, but I’ll try to do more…more later….
They really are toxic and it’s spreading…
Well…I know we throw the word toxic around a lot when talking about the idiot trump’s administration…and there is no doubt it is toxic…but now, with new rules just listed by the EPA, that toxicity is going to spread across the US. Just a few days ago, in response to one of trump’s cronies request, the EPA has just said that using asbestos in building supplies is just hunky dory again…never mind that asbestos is one of the most deadly minerals ever mined and almost everyone who comes into contact with it gets mesothelioma that kills them, profit to his cronies is much more important that the lives of US citizens…as you have seen by earlier rule changes at the EPA that are going to kill hundreds of thousands of Americans with the increases of pollution that the EPA is now allowing. So now, the wonders of asbestos are going to inflicted on another generation of Americans just so the rich can get richer..it’s just frickin immoral…but that is the description of trump….impeach…
August 7th
Well…got up early today but it took me some time to come here…just can’t get started and I hope the coffee starts working soon…slept okay last night and don’t feel too badly today but I know I didn’t eat enough yesterday so that will have to be fixed today…had a nice run out and back to pool and there was no rain so the top was down both ways…oh, and I won at pool for the second week in a row…I do need to get out to vote this morning and I think I’ll ride my bike over to do it…have to look at the radar to see it it is going to rain first, though….didn’t get anything done yesterday but I will continue looking for a house today so it may be an afternoon in front of the computer…I do need to cook, too…have some pork chops that have been marinating since Saturday that need to be cooked….more later….
One little problem for donnie jr….
Well…sitting here trying to get some coffee down and this little thought just popped into my head…donnie jr. has a problem now that his idiot father has admitted that the trump tower meeting was to get “dirt” on Hillary…the little idiot went in front of congress and lied that the meeting was about “adoptions”…now, we know that the repubs won’t do a damn thing about it since they spend most of their time covering for the most lawless administration in the history of the US….but, November is coming and, after the election, he can be referred to the justice department and charges of lying to congress can be pressed….so, it does look like everyone that has been part of this debacle will go to jail…and it can’t happen soon enough…impeach…
August 6th
Well…running a little late today…didn’t get up til after 7 and that is sleeping in for me…slept okay last night and don’t feel too badly today other than a few aches and pains that are more and more normal these days…had a nice bike ride yesterday but it looks like I will finally have a day off the bike with the storms that are coming in…they’re stretched all the way back through Nebraska and it looks like the rain is going to start soon….I do need a day off the bike to let my legs heal up some but that means I’ll have to cut 600 cals out of my meals today and I’m not sure how I’ll do it….maybe I won’t…I think I can afford to be over a little today….didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today will be the same with pool this aft…but, I do have time this morning so maybe I’ll get something done before pool…more later…

Well….I am just shaking my head at this one…this morning the idiot came right out and admitted that donnie jr. met in trump tower with Russian agents to get dirt on Hillary…and I’m sure he thinks that just saying that “it’s totally legal and done all the time” will protect him and his demon spawn from Mueller. Yeah, idiot…it’s illegal to take help from any foreign entity to further your campaign….and the dirt on Hillary has value so..yeah, everyone that was there broke the law and then your idiot son called you and told you about it a half hour after the meeting was over…so, you knew about it, too. Now you can see the type of person trump is, willing to throw his own son under the bus to keep Mueller from getting to him…got news for you, idiot…Mueller has all the phone records and your phone number is on it from when little donnie called you…god, can anyone be any dumber than trump? Nope….impeach…
August 5th
Well…I remembered to come here this morning! That’s a little unusual for a Sunday morning and I’ll take it….it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done other than the bathroom but I guess that’s something….slept okay last night but lost the earplugs again and I’m not sure what that is about….think I’ll try a new pair tonight….woke up with no pain at all today and that has me a little confused since I always hurt somewhere…but, I’m happy that my neck is finally healed and I can move it…I do need to cook today and I have some pork chops marinating that have been in the marinade since Friday and I hope I finally have found a way to use pork loin that gives it some flavor…think I’ll use the broiler to cook them to try to get some crust on them….can’t wait to have a grill again….not much to do today…watching the Moto GP race right now and then out on the bike….more later…
The idiot trump is witness tampering again…
Well…if you’ve been here before, and I hope you have, you’ve heard me impugn the intelligence of the idiot boy many, many times with good reason….and today, in plain sight, trump is witness tampering again. Just today, Hope Hicks was seen getting on trump’s plane for the ride to Ohio where the idiot is holding another “rally”, supposedly to support some candidate for a house seat that appears to be slipping away from the repubs in a bright, red area…but, you know he probably doesn’t even know the name of the person he is supposed to be supporting. Back to the witness tampering….trump has been warned that he can’t talk to a federal witness in the case against him…Hope Hicks in particular, but does the idiot listen? Nope…and I am just shaking my head…it appears that trump is either the dumbest person on the Earth, or he is trying to get thrown out of office…. with this little plane ride, the obstruction of justice evidence against him has gotten stronger and it just made things a lot easier for Mueller…keep it up, donnie…you are going to spend the rest of your life in jail after you’re thrown out of office…and I couldn’t be happier…impeach…
Oh, and Hicks is not too bright to get on that plane, either…it opens her up to obstruction and conspiracy to obstruct charges…geez…what a bunch of idiots…
