Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I won at pool so that was cool…and the drive out and back was fun but the 3 beers were hitting me pretty hard and I’m not sure what that was about other than I didn’t eat much yesterday…slept okay last night but feel a little slow today…tried to get the pedal off the bike and it was a no go….might have to take the arm off and heat it but I’m not too worried about it since the pedal is still good…my mp-3 player gave me a scare this morning when it wouldn’t work going out to get the papers….must have left it on when I got home yesterday aft and ran the battery completely dead…it is charging now and that takes a load off….it is going to be a cool race day today with the 24 hours of LeMans, and F1 this morning…so, I am going to wait to get on the bike until later or I may even take the day off…not sure yet….more later….oh, forgot to do the not much to do today…going to clean a little and make an omelet for lunch…remembered to get the green pepper and cheese this morning so I can make a good one….now, more later…
Another one for the B-3 count…
Well…back to do another one on my obsession with the Hammond B-3 organ and the bands that used it…was watching a concert with the original lineup of the Beach Boys the other day and there it was… a B-3 sitting on the side of the stage but this one was painted white which was quite weird but still easily recognizable…so, add another one to the B-3 count…
June 17th
Well…running a little early today since I want to see the F1 practice at 9 and need to get the bike ride in before then…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get anything done…and today looks much the same…but I am going to make some cash today so that will be cool….feel okay today but shouldn’t…it was a cocktail night last night and I stayed up late for me….okay…need to get going…not much to do today…pool later but busy this morning so I will end here and come back later when I have time…not even going to have my second cup of coffee until I get back….more later….
Hypocrisy, hypocrisy, hypocrisy…
Well…I didn’t know if it was possible for me to hate one person as much as I hate Ted Cruz…but, guess what? It IS possible after his speech in the senate today that was dripping with so much hypocrisy I wonder why he didn’t drown in it. Everyone knows that ole Ted is one of the biggest haters of the LGBT community in the entire US and has made that known through his associations with people and organizations that advocate the killing of LGBT people if they can’t be “converted” by christianity….and these same groups have been instrumental in taking the culture wars to Africa…where, in Uganda, they have worked their dark magic to get the government there to make being gay a crime that is punishable by life in prison but their first iteration of the legislation basically let anyone kill anyone that is found to be gay. These are the people that ole Ted still supports so when he comes out and announces his sorrow at the killings in Orlando, he is being the biggest hypocrite in the US…he doesn’t give a damn about LGBT people and never has…just another of his calculated lies that he thinks will get him the repub nomination in 4 years….geez….
Synchronized bunny running and other trail stuff…
Well…I am amazed how much difference it makes to the bike just replacing a cracked pedal that flexed a bunch….now my right foot stays on the pedal without having to stress my hip at all…and the pain is almost gone…but, that’s not what this is about…a few days back, as I was in the fastest downhill that has a left-right-left fast curve in it, the damnedest thing happened…just in front of me, three bunnies on each side of the trail ran out and crossed right in front of me and then disappeared into the brush…now, I’m sure they didn’t practice that move but it couldn’t have been better synchronized if they did…I laughed my butt off for the rest of the ride at that sight…oh, one more thing…this morning as I was just starting my ride, a groundhog ran out onto the trail, between my wheels, and I whacked him with my right pedal, sending him rolling down the trail…I looked back to see if he was hurt and he just sat up, shook his head, and then took off into the brush….not sure why these animals have such a deathwish, or maybe they are just having fun? Who knows? Still funny….
June 16th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I got a few things done…finally…and have a spider free bathroom, for today anyway…slept normally and crappy but feel okay today…it feels nice to have a cool breeze blowing through here this morning but it is going to be hot over the weekend…might even have to put the air on to sleep….I did get the broken pedal replaced on the bike but can’t get the left hand threaded one off…just don’t have enough leverage…so, Tom…I need a 5/8 open ended wrench and a piece of pipe or something for a cheater bar…I’ll e-mail later….no pain today but I did get some more ibuprofen this morning and I may try that before the bike just to keep the cramps out of my calves….not much to do today….there is soccer on in a minute and I want to see England play so the bike ride will be put back for a while unless the game is not interesting…more later……

Well….I think all we need to do in this election is just let the Donald keep talking…the more he talks the dumber he appears and the more his poll numbers tank….in fact…after the Orlando speech debacle, his unfavorables have hit a never before seen 70%…that means that 70% of the people in the US now have an unfavorable view of Donald….this number would better fit with a murderer or a serial killer; not a candidate for president from one of our major political parties…but, that doesn’t matter to him…he is so delusional that he truly believes that polling didn’t exist before he came along….”I think I’ve made polling a very important thing. ‘Cause I never used to hear about the polls.” How much more isolated of a person can there be? That polls don’t exist because he didn’t notice them before? We just need this guy to keep talking and we will not even need to spend any money on the election….typical rich repub….that nothing exists unless they can see it personally…what a maroon….geez…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I got a few things done…tried to get the pedals off the bike and luckily, I got the broken one loose…but, the other one won’t come off so I am soaking it in penetrating oil…going to go out in a while and buy and new set so I can get out on the bike when it quits raining…slept okay, kinda, last night and feel okay today with being good for a second day and I will do that again tonight….did toss and turn all night and I wonder it it is time to try new things to make my sleep better….probably would be a good idea….not really sore today anywhere but my hands that I abused trying to get the pedals off so the bike ride will be okay…not much to do today…need to do some work around here and then clean a little later….started the bathroom yesterday but then soccer came on and I vegged it out the rest of the day….more later…..
More corporate welfare in Michigan…
Well…yep you are seeing right, no Trump for today even though he is such an easy target that I could write those with my eyes closed…yeah, I know some of these already look like I’ve done that…but, back to topic….here in Michigan, we have an energy supplier called DTE Energy that supplies gas and electricity to the eastern side of the state and whose job it is to project energy needs and build the needed infrastructure to support those needs…but, it appears that they are stuck in the past with the type of energy that will be needed over the next 20 years. Over the past few months, they have been trying to get the state of Michigan and us taxpayers to pay for a new gas pipeline to bring in gas from Pennsylvania and Ohio..but worse than that, they want us to guarantee that they will make a profit on the line for the next 30 years…nevermind that Bloomberg came out with projections that oil and gas usage is going to plummet over the next decade as more and more renewables come on line….these guys at DTE want to insulate themselves from any downside and make us pay for their bad decisions…oh, and the company that owns the pipeline? A subsidiary of DTE….since when is it fair that DTE gets any and all profits while any losses will be paid for by you and me? This is just the kind of corporate welfare that really irritates me….geez…
June 14th
Well…it was a busy day yesterday but I made some cash so that was cool…had stuff going on from 8 until almost 4 so the day went by pretty fast…and I got a lot of stuff done that I needed to which will make today a little easier…slept okay last night but had some kind of bug wake me up during the night…need to spray again to keep them out of here…had some dreams that I don’t remember but maybe tonight I will…I have been feeling kind of old lately with all of the aches and pains but then I remembered that I’ve always felt that way so I shouldn’t be concerned….at least my back is holding up so I’ll take that and move on….the rain I hoped for is here but it is not going to last long enough for me to stay off the bike today and rest the legs….should end just after I work out so it looks like I’ll bag the phone and go out in the wet…not much to do today…after the busy day yesterday…that is really true…the spiders are irritating me so I may get to the bathroom today…more later….
