Well…not sure if you have been following the causcases in Iowa, but I’m pretty sure you’re as tired of it as I am…the cool result was that Bernie and Hillary basically tied with only two tenths of a point separating them and the policy that they stressed was what the dems wanted to hear…not like the right who are filled with crap and personal attacks that I am just tired of. I probably should mention that Ted Cruz won on the repub side with Trump being the first loser as he calls it and Rubio coming in third that he has been touting all day as a win…the delusion runs deep in this one. the one thing I want my side to remember is to not go overboard on that support…that when or if your candidate loses, we have to remember to support the other candidate on our side….to sit out to just spite the chosen candidate will hand the presidency to the repubs…and I’m not sure that damage will ever be repaired…look how long it took Obama to fix the mess left by ole GW…geez…
February 2nd
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I made some cash so that was cool….and I got back on the bike for a nice ride but that has left me sore since I haven’t been on it since around Christmas….slept crappy last night and feel a little worn out today but I think that will pass after the coffee…my back is hurting again but not too bad so I can live with it…I may try an experiment later by taking some ibuprofen to see if it might help….the worst pain on the ride was in my wrists that cramped like crazy from about 4 miles out and that continues today….oh, well…did get out to have a couple with G last night and it was not terrible but it was supposed to be a beer free day and I do need the 4 days a week with being good….I am hoping to get out on the bike again this morning after it gets warm enough to melt the ice…it’s supposed to rain like crazy today so I may not be able to get out…not much to do today….have a lunch with T…maybe…and then I have to do a recap on Iowa, so come back later to take a look….more later….

Snyder is such a whiner….
Well…I am just shaking my head at this latest thing from ole Snyder…our wonderful governor here in Michigan. He went on the radio a few days back to whine, whine, whine that he is being heckled in public when he goes out to eat….let that sink in for a minute….this guy who, along with his cronies, poisoned an entire Michigan city and now he is whining that he is the victim here…not the people of Flint or the rest of us who are going to be stuck with the tab for the repairs, but him. How typical is that of the repubs across the country? They screw up completely, causing untold damage to the country and then when they get called on it they whine and play the victim….hey Snyder, how about you do something about the water in Flint instead of just whining and studying it….how much more tone deaf can one person get? I guess we’ll see…..geez…
Back on the bike…
Well…was trying to think of a political one to do today but until the caucases are over today, there really isn’t much news…but, I did get back on the bike today and got a good 12 miles in with only about 50 yards of walking over the ice….and that Ice may be gone tomorrow with all of the rain we are supposed to get…but, more cold and snow later in the week will probably take me off it again…I am sore everywhere but it is a good sore…and I don’t feel guilty about eating lunch….more later….
February 1st
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I made some cash so that was cool….slept pretty crappy…again…so I feel a little worn out today….didn’t get anything done so there will be things that I need to do today….still coughing like crazy but I am hoping that it will get better today…not sure if it’s allergies, too, since the antihistamine I took last night helped to get rid of the sneezing and congestion….I am thinking that the pain in my back is actually my hip and that is not good…don’t want any new pains that I haven’t dealt with before…and if it’s degenerative, I’m not sure I can wait two years to have it looked at….okay…enough of that…..one weird thing came up yesterday…I just can’t seem to get the seat in the car adjusted to my satisfaction…just irritates the heck out of me….might have to do with wearing a winter coat…not much to do today….just going to try to feel better and maybe clean the kitchen but I’m not sure about that…more later….

Well….yeah, the title says it all…just don’t have a topic for today so this one is just going to be filler…there was one thing about ole Ted Cruz….he has vowed that he will appoint “conservative” judges to the supreme court who will then outlaw gay marriage…yeah, Ted…you are never going to be elected so that’s not going to be a problem…and the 14th amendment doesn’t change just because you want it to….another time where the repubs are shown to be the huge hypocrites they are….real law and order until they don’t get what they want and then the court ruling is “unlawful”….what the hell law school do you go to? I’m sure they taught you what the constitution means…and yet you go on and on how illegitimate it is….what a poor excuse for a human being this guy is…hmmmm…might have to change the title…nope…I think I’ll just leave it…I did make the goal for the month so I guess that’s something….
Some noodling…
Well…since I have two more of these to do today, I thought I’d just noodle around and cover some small tidbits…one of our guys, Dylan Larkin from the Wings won the fastest skater at the all star game yesterday…beating a record that had stood for 20 years and it was pretty cool to see…that makes him the fastest skater in the league…or of the ones there anyway….have been watching the race since yesterday and it has been pretty good…and the first two cars are within one second after 21 hours so that is cool…might turn into a shootout for the last three which might keep me interested….Man U won their FA cup match yesterday but looked like they have all year…no energy or excitement…I have been hoping for a while now that they would replace Van Gaal as the manager and it looks like that may be coming if they lose their next match this week…the Iowa caucases are this week and I am really glad they are going to be over soon…after all, the 120,000 people who will vote on each side could set the nominees and I don’t think that’s right…just because they are first? Okay…that’s enough for this one…I will be back to do another one later….
January 31st
Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done….slept okay last night but the bug is still here and that is starting to get annoying…have been coughing again like a two pack a day smoker and can’t figure that out…my back is hurting again and I’m starting to wonder if it’s my hip instead of my back…hope not…the back can deal with but if it’s my hip, I’m not sure what to do…haven’t been taking any pain killers so maybe that’s the next step…I should get to the kitchen today but I’m not sure if I will….I do need to do laundry but that will only take a few minutes…the race has been a good boredom killer for the past day but I need to do something else…Everton plays in a few minutes so that will be good to change over to…not much to do today…I do have to do two more of these today but that will be about it….more later…
Daytona 24 Hours
Well…one of my favorite days of the year has rolled around again and I am getting excited…it is the start of the racing season with the 24 Hours of Daytona running this afternoon to tomorrow afternoon….to me, this starts the end of winter and and that just can’t come soon enough….this first race of the year gives you the chance to catch up on all of the changes to the series that have happened over the winter…like Scott Pruitt no longer driving for Ganassi….a team he has been with for many years…and the only thing I know about the change is a one line news item I read a few weeks ago….and we have the introduction of the new Ford GT which will run in the GTLM class…one down from the prototypes….it looks pretty cool from the pictures I have seen and bring back the memories I have of them running back in the 60’s…and fox sports has the first 8 hours live so I will have something to take a nap to this afternoon….and will give me something to watch tonight with cocktails…..can’t wait…
January 30th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I even got a little done…slept last night and I think I’m making up for the few days this week that I didn’t…didn’t get up until 7:30 this morning and that is an hour and a half later than normal….did have some dreams that had free beer in them so that was cool, too….still have the bug, though and spent the night last night coughing like crazy…and that has continued this morning so I guess I’ll need to take it easy today to try to heal some…my back hurt yesterday, too, and I’m not sure why that would be…it felt healed earlier in the week and I’m sure I didn’t do anything to stress it…oh, well….I did get to watch the new James Bond movie last night and I’m not sure what to think of it….it was really long at 2 1/2 hours but kept me interested throughout it so I guess I’ll have to say that I liked it….not much to do today…I am going to clean the kitchen and watch races but that is about it..oh, and the FA cup, too….so that means I’ll have soccer for the day…..more later…
