Well…running a little late today and just can’t get started….haven’t had coffee yet and that may be part of it….slept okay last night but I’m still tossing and turning all night and I would like just one night of sleeping through without waking up….oh, well…I did get out on the bike yesterday and I was going to try to get out again today but it looks like rain all day so I might not get out…going to try, though….I was really sore after the ride and that continues this morning but it feels good so I won’t bitch too much…..and I think I’ll be able to get out wed and through the rest of the week…..didn’t get a lot done yesterday…I did clean some and will do that again today…but not for a while….I need the coffee to work more before I’m going to do anything….more later….

Even the banks are turning on Kushner…
Well…in the category of “it couldn’t happen to a nicer guy”…it appears that even the banks are now turning on the idiot Kushner. Yesterday, I read that Deutsche Bank has turned a bunch of evidence on Kushner over to German bank regulators that shows “suspicious” bank transactions done by Kushner or one of his companies….and the bank is going to give the same info to Mueller to aid in his investigation. Now, I can understand why the bank is going after money laundering suspicions…they paid a fine of almost 650 million dollars a couple of years again for closing their eyes to the same type of stuff so I’m pretty sure they don’t want to get burned again. I wonder where that leaves little Jared now? He has been crossing the globe trying to get re-financing for his Park avenue building that he is so upside down on that no one will touch it and it is going to crash and burn the entire family fortune….Jared, just enjoy what little time you have outside of prison…Mueller is coming for you soon….and it can’t be soon enough for me….
January 21st
Well…woke up feeling pretty crappy today and I am going to blame it on going out to have a couple with K…..slept okay last night but feel a little slow today…took some work to even go out to get the paper today and the coffee is not working at all yet so I am going to just ease into the day….T got back into town yesterday and it’s nice to have her back here…I did see a funny thing while watching the car auctions last night…a 1.2 million dollar Ferrari had the same six dollar battery switch that I have on my car…I guess even rich people are cheap…..didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today is going to be the same…I may try to get out on the bike today after the sun comes up since it looks like the trails may be clear….I do need need to get some exercise….more later….
January 20th
Well…it’s always nice to wake up to a fresh pot of coffee brewing…it’s almost like a smell alarm clock on the days when the coffee brews….slept pretty crappy last night and I am feeling it today….just want to go back to bed but I know that won’t work…just realized something…last year when it was cold, when I started the car it made a banging noise like something in the exhaust was hitting on the floor….but, this year there is no noise and that is a little weird…cars normally don’t fix themselves but I’ll take this one….I did get the car washed yesterday but that is about all I got done….I am going to get more done today…maybe….but, I really don’t have much to do other than cleaning…I do need to take the old bike apart so I can get the new one ordered…Oh, I said that before…and I might not do it today…need more coffee before Man U plays at 10….more later….
Fusion GPS
Well…just read a great article over on Kos about the transcript of the head of Fusion GPS’s testimony to the House committee investigating trump/Russia and it is an eye opener….contrary to the senate transcripts that showed that all the repubs there wanted was to try to smear Fusion and discredit Glenn Simpson, the head of the company, the house committee appeared to be really trying to get to the bottom of the scandal. What we have to remember through all of this is that the author of the Steel dossier was working independently as a contractor and the rest of Fusions research was done by Fusion’s employees….and that staff are experts in financial research. What fusion found was that the idiot trump has been supported by and conspiring with mob figures his entire life…starting with the Italian Mafia when he was younger, and when the FBI destroyed the NY mob he was conspiring with, trump moved on the Russian mob…or the Russian government, since they are one and the same thing…all run by Putin. A couple of points that stuck out to me and that I wrote some about earlier was how Fusion discovered that the Russians have been infiltrating conservative organizations across the country, with the NRA becoming one of the money funnels they used to help steal the election for trump, and that almost all of trump’s money comes from trusts set up by daddy…he never has been the “great businessman” that he brags about all the time. What I get from Simpson’s testimony, that comes from public records only, is that there is plenty of evidence to convict the entire trump crime family, and it is only a matter of time until they are all indicted…and that day can’t come too soon….impeach….
January 19th
Well…feel pretty crappy today and don’t think it’s the flu but it is something…had a hell of a time getting moving so I think it’s going to be one of those days where I just ease into it and wait for the body to wake up….I sure hope it isn’t that I’m getting old….that would be disheartening…..didn’t get a lot done yesterday but I did cook some chicken in the slow cooker using the dry method and it came out quite good so I think I’ll try that again sometime….didn’t get anything else done and that is getting to be a pattern that I don’t like…but, it is winter so I guess I can cut myself a little slack….I do need to get out and wash the car today but that will wait until it gets above freezing so the locks don’t freeze after I’m done….other than that, it is going to be a low key day…don’t even have to cook…more later….
Read the constitution, Tom Cotton…
Well….just read a jaw-dropping article where senator Tom Cotton sent out a cease and desist letter to his constituents to tell them they will be reported to the capitol police if they continue to call him to stop being a lying, racist asshole supporting the lying, racist asshole in the WH. Yeah, I can’t believe it, either….this guy doesn’t give a damn that the reason he is even in Washington is to listen to his constituents and take care of them…and Tommy boy, read the damn constitution…I’d suggest the first amendment that protects a citizen’s right to “petition the government for redress of grievances”…and how does that happen? By calling and writing to their lying, racist senator….this is what you voted for repubs…while you wave your damn pocket constitutions, you elect people who don’t give a damn about it….so, Tom Cotton, you need to go…if you don’t want to do your job, then stop getting paid for it and go back where you came from…geez….
Darn, no SD this year….
Well…as you know, I was really geeked up last fall when Steely Dan came to Grand Rapids for the first time and it was so cool to see them on our turf versus having to go across the state to see them. But, darn, it looks like that was a one time thing since I just got an e-mail with their tour announcement for this year and they are going back to the east side of the state to Pine Knob….now, I have made that trip 5 times before but, at this time in my life, I just don’t want to make that much effort anymore…and, they are not playing alone but The Doobie Brothers are co-headlining with them this year…now, I wouldn’t mind seeing the Doobies…I have liked them for a long time but I’m just not up for a 4 hour concert anymore, either…..so it looks like last year was the last time I’ll see SD…the end of an era…..

Well….the coffee has finally started to work so I thought I’d come here to talk about a little article I read this morning about the NRA…you know, the hate group that is responsible for thousands of deaths every year in the US…this morning, it was reported that the FBI is investigating where the 30 million dollars the NRA spent to help elect the idiot trump came from. Yep, and the conjecture is that it was funneled from Putin and his cronies…well…not even conjecture…there is fire where the smoke is coming from or the FBI wouldn’t be involved….it’s just like the American citizens who were instrumental in funneling Russian oligarch’s money to the repubs in the election…and this wasn’t even restricted to the idiot trump but the money went to all levels of repbus, including Ryan and McConnell. My only hope is that this investigation proves the criminality of the NRA and shatters that terrorist organization so we can finally have some sane gun laws here in the US…..geez….
January 18th
Well….running a little late today with the grocery run today but you know that, it’s Thursday….slept okay last night but have been tossing and turning a lot lately and I’m not sure what that is about…but, I slept well enough that I feel okay today but part of that is the 4 days of being good…I am kinda getting used to that so I may stretch that out for a week or so…maybe….I did get the kitchen floor done yesterday and today will be counters and the stovetop…but I am going to make some dry, slow cooked chicken thighs and potatoes today and I have never run the cooker dry with just a little olive oil so that will be something new….have to brown the chicken first so I’ll need to get on that here in a few minutes…needs to cook all day so if I get it in by 9 that should be good…not much to do today….going to just clean some and then cook…and two more of these if I can come up with some topics….more later….
