Well….running a little late today…as you know, Thursday is grocery day and, with my back giving me fits of pain when I walk, it took a little longer than normal…I did get the top down over and back so that was cool…and the parking brake didn’t stick at all….maybe all the lube I put on it is working? Didn’t get a lot done yesterday with my legs being so flat for the past few days….tried to eat more yesterday to make up for it but didn’t have a lot of luck….I hope today will be better with cleaning up the leftovers….need to run out after the bike ride to get some chicken legs that are on sale for 69 cents a pound….I do need to vacuum today and do some laundry but that will be about it….more later….

Trump v. Putin
Well…have been slacking off here for the start of this month and I know that has to stop…so, I’ll go back to the easiest target in politics…the idiot trump. Just read an article on the idiot’s prep for the meeting with Putin on Friday….his handlers have had to dumb his briefings down to 140 character soundbites…easily remembered talking points is all the idiot has the capacity for and this is what we have going up against Putin. He’s the guy that ran the KGB and is as ruthless and brutal as anyone in the world…and so much smarter than trump I will be surprised if the idiot doesn’t give the country to him by the time the meeting is done. How much longer are you going to let this degradation of our country’s power go on repubs? It was bad enough when the idiot walked down from AF 1 the other day and just started wandering around the runway…not even recognizing that his limo was parked at the bottom of the stairs with the door open waiting for him….this is what you’ve done to the country, repubs…fix this…impeach….
July 5th
Well…another day, another day running late….and I broke a pair of glasses overnight….so I am not in a good mood this morning…and I didn’t sleep well last night so this will be a grumpy morning….didn’t get anything done yesterday and that may be part of the grumpiness….and I am having trouble eating enough which made my legs so flat yesterday the ride was torture….will probably be the same today…..and my back is back to hurting again and the trick with my weight machine didn’t work like it did Monday so I am at a loss to know why…..oh, well….not much to do today….I am going to try to clean a little but that is about it….more later….
Inline duck butts….
Well….sometimes when out on the bike, weird things happen…and, if you’ve been here before, you know that the weird stuff amuses me…sometimes a little too much. You also know that I look for trends in the things I observe….that happened over the past three days at the retention pond along M-6 that is at the start of my ride…a couple of days back, I looked over to the pond and saw three duck butts stuck up in the air in a perfectly straight line as they were feeding….then yesterday, the same thing happened to be repeated today. Now, if you’ve spent any time watching ducks, you know that many times you’ll see them in threes for some reason, but to see three butts in the air in a line is something I’ve never seen before and I’m pretty damn old…..
July 4th
Well….running late today since I didn’t get up until 7:30…not sure why that happened but it does set me back for the day…and it was a tie at pool yesterday….had a nice drive out and back but got a little burned even with 30 sunscreen on….might have to buy some different stuff….my back was okay most of the day yesterday but it does hurt today….I think I’ll try putting it back in place with the weight machine again today….didn’t get anything done yesterday but I am going to try to do more today….need to clean up around here today but need to do the workout and get a ride in first….more later….
July 3rd
Well…just can’t get going today and I know why but won’t share it….okay…wasn’t good last night and that’s the reason…I did watch the really strange episode of Twin Peaks last night and it was probably the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen…some Fellini, some Kubrick but totally strange….didn’t get anything done yesterday but clean up after the drain problems…and I’m not sure if I’ll get much done today either…I am going to wash the car here in a few minutes so I can wax it later…and I need to go get some drain cleaner since my shower drain is plugged now…what a pain….more later….

Well….have been staying away from the idiot trump for a couple of days and you can probably tell….just don’t want to have anything to do with his tweets attacking Morning Joe…now, the two hosts shoulder a lot of blame for trump getting elected…giving him millions and millions of dollars in free air time throughout the election, and what did they expect? There is no one who has ever come into contact with the idiot that he didn’t attack at some point….so why the surprise? Or the outrage at the lies included in all the tweets? They HAVE met the idiot so they should not be surprised at anything he does…studying for the G20 summit? Nope tweeting insults at tv hosts. Trying to understand the repubs horrible “healthcare” bills….nope, going off to golf again. Not only is trump the most stupid “president”, he is also the laziest…if he works more than an hour a day we would all be in trouble….impeach…
July 2nd
Well…running a little late today and almost forgot to come here and do this one…..with all of the work being done around here yesterday, I didn’t have the chance to get into my routine and that threw me off for the day….slept okay last night and don’t feel too bad today other than my back is sore again and I just feel creaky today…going to take some ibuprofen here in a minute before I get on the bike to try to keep the pain down some…I do need to continue to clean today and the kitchen needs it most with all of the sludge and crap that was all over the floor…not going to do much else today other than cook….more later…..
More drain problems…
Well….it has been a pretty crappy day today with the drain in my kitchen plugging up again today and flooding the whole damn thing again…they have been working on it all day and I am still waiting for the outside plumbers to come and finish it….the damn thing had so much pressure in it this morning that it blew the drain pipe off and flooded the kitchen…..okay, they were just here and it appears they have fixed the problem…the drain works better than it has in years and I am now running the dishwasher to try it out a little more….
July 1st
Well….running a little early today and I’m not sure why….other than getting up too damn early….had a pretty good day yesterday but no pool…I did get out to see a friend I haven’t seen in 5 years and that was cool…but didn’t get much else done and today will be much the same…I need to get the bike ride in here in a minute but I need coffee first….my back has been iffy again and I’m not sure why….not hurting now but it probably will on the bike….need to do a long one today with doing short ones the past two days…really don’t have anything to do until the race is on at noon so that will work out…more later….
