Well…not sure if you’ve been following what has been happening in Florida with deSantis and his troglodyte followers passing the “don’t say gay” law that would prevent any teacher there from mentioning that gay people exist or even children from talking about their gay parents and their family…and would allow any asshole parent to sue teachers if they even hear if they might have slipped and mentioned that gay people exist….and one of the biggest donors to these assholes is the Disney corporation who continue to pour money into these cretins to help them get elected….and they explain it by saying that they can’t speak out against the law or stop their donations or the extreme right wing assholes may boycott Disney and cost them money….but that is all just an excuse…what they are really doing is protecting their sweetheart tax deals they’ve gotten from Florida that allows them to essentially pay no taxes at all….and that is what concerns them more than laws that codify discrimination against the LGBT community….after all, Disney is run by a MAGA apologist who donates only to right wing assholes like trump and he is just fine with gays being treated like crap….so he fakes that Disney is being blackmailed by the red hats out there when he really doesn’t want to do anything to support the gay community anyway…it’s all just a convenient way for him to wave away the cynical calculus he is making to keep the cash pouring into his own pocket…the happiest place in the world, my ass…boycott Disney until they show that they care about all humans, not just the ones that line their pockets…geez…

Bill Barr, Mark Meadows and a few other things…
Well…lots of stuff going on today in the news but I’m still trying to get my brain working to be just a little lucid and talk about it…okay, Bill Barr…the rehab process goes on for the trump protector Bill Barr and it is just sickening to hear how he justified not doing anything to hold trump accountable for his crimes and how he tried so damn hard to discredit the Mueller report and yet the major news channels bring him on and let him lie his ass off like the hour he was on tv last night…do you need any more proof that the media is run by right wing apologists who have an agenda to wreck this country and allow trumpism to flourish? Now, with Mark Meadows, the idiot boy’s chief of staff who was neck deep in trying to overthrow the results of the 2020 election and who should be charged by now…it was reported yesterday that he has committed voting fraud in NC by registering to vote at an address that he has never owned, never lived at, and that the former and current owners have no clue why he would use the address….and the excuse the repubs in NC are using to justify not prosecuting him is that “no one has filed a complaint yet”…so now I guess it’s okay to commit crimes in NC just as long as no one complains? Let’s remember that every damn instance of voter fraud revealed in the past few years is all done by repubs as they wail about it….I wonder if the old saying “thou doth protest too loudly” applies here? Oh, and one last thing about Ukraine…a defense department official has said that the most effective weapon the Ukrainians have is the Javelin anti tank missile they got from the US…remember the Javelin? The missile that the idiot trump tried to use to extort Zelensky into fabricating dirt of Joe Biden? This shows just how dangerous that extortion was and how trump was working for Putin at the same time he was trying to cheat to an election win…I wish the media would ask some of the repubs about the Javelins and why none of them voted to convict trump in the senate for withholding them…it would be fun to watch the squirm….
The limits to a moron’s thinking…
Well…there really limits to a moron’s thinking and the moron trump showed it this weekend when he was talking to some repub donors….his solution to the challenge of Russia and China is to paint some Chinese flags on our F-22s and bomb Russia…and then Russia would naturally attack China and the we could “sit back and watch” as they fought each other…cripes, where do I start with this monumental bit of stupidity? First, we are the only country in the world that flies the F-22 and it can hardly be mistaken for a Chinese aircraft even by an idiot like trump…okay, yeah, he would mistake it since he thinks that “stealth” aircraft really are invisible and can’t be seen even just sitting on the runway….look, even if the Russians are as inept as their Ukrainian invasion shows, I’m sure they could tell an F-22 when they see one….this is the depth of critical military thinking that idiot boy and his followers have…and to be sure, there are millions of his idiot followers who will think this is the greatest piece of military strategy in the history of the world….the question that comes to me is why the hell does anyone still listen to this moron with a 3rd graders grasp of the world? Okay, his followers are proud to be thought of being that dumb since it is just the “elites” who think that and they really are stealth geniuses who know more about everything than the “libs”….stupidity has never been so revered as it is in the trump cult…geez…
Why is the Kentucky teacher retirment fund investing in Russia?
Well…as more and more information comes out about who has been supporting Russia and it’s banks, there have been a few surprises revealed in the past couple of days. One of them was the Kentucky teacher’s retirement fund that was the second largest investor in Sberbank, one of the banks that has just been sanctioned for supporting Putin and his invasion of Ukraine…initial reports were that the fund lost over 12 million dollars as the shares in the bank fell to junk status…and that would be bad enough to put teacher’s retirements at risk with investments in a bank that has been involved in many shady investments over the years…but just today, representatives from the teacher’s fund said “oh, no….we sold all of the investments the day before Russia invaded”…and that either has to be the smartest fund manager in the world or he was tipped off by the bank or any one of Moscow Mitch McConnell’s Russian contacts…you know, the Russian oligarchs that he pals around with and who he got sanctions removed from for their part in getting the idiot trump elected in 2016…and who said they were going to invest hundreds of millions in an aluminum plant in Kentucky that went pfffft once the sanctions were lifted….this whole thing screams of insider trading on the part of the fund manager that the feds should be looking into right now…and into who recommended investing American money in a corrupt Russian bank in the first place…who got paid off to do it would be my first question…of many, many others…geez…
I still don’t get it….
Well…with the latest great jobs report that was released today where it was reported that almost 700K jobs were added in Feb and the unemployment rate dropped to 3.8%, I still don’t understand the polls that show that almost 70% of the country thinks Biden is doing a bad job on employment. I mean, what the hell else does he have to do? Go door to door asking people if they need a job? I still don’t get how there is such a big disconnect between reality and perception…is it a feeling or are there reports saying he is doing a crappy job? I know that it is a daily feature of fox news that Biden is a failure at everything, but that is only watched by about 30% of the country so what is causing this disconnect when more people are working than ever before and pay is up almost across the board? I still think it is the bias in the media that is doing most of it…can you imagine if the idiot trump was still in office? The NYT and Washington Post would have 4 inch screaming headlines every damn day how much of a genius the moron was…but with Biden? Nothing, not a damn thing that connects his efforts to the Biden jobs boom…and I am getting tired of it…this is a country in the midst of a shared delusion that nothing good is happening…and I don’t know how to fix that…geez…
Idiot boy is going to be indicted…
Well…with the latest court filings by the Jan 6th committee, the only conclusion that can be drawn is idiot boy an his minions are going to be indicted sometime in the future….in a 61 page filing, the committees lawyers have told the court they have enough evidence to show that trump and his cronies tried to interfere with government functions and tried to overthrow the election…and that is nothing less than what one of the oathkeepers did who just pleaded guilty to seditious insurrection…and that is just one of the charges that trump is on the hook for…yeah, I know…I’ve been saying that idiot boy is going to be indicted for a long time now but if it doesn’t happen after this, Merrick Garland has to be fired and needs to take his ‘institutionalist” views back to the 19th century where they belong…things have changed and these serious threats to our country need to be dealt with now…not some time in the future…and there was enough evidence in the Mueller report to charge the idiot with but it just sits there and nothing is done…what the hell is more important than protecting our democracy? I know I’ve said that before but damn, now’s the time to get off the damn fence before it’s too late…geez…
Forgot to talk about the SOTU…
Well…I have been digesting the SOTU that Biden gave Tuesday night and I was not surprised at all…the right wing propaganda that has been pushing the lie that Joe is too old and senile to even walk was exploded as he delivered a Joe speech…lots of truth and empathy and guess what you didn’t see…yep, attacking his “enemies” and bragging that he was able to put his shoes on that morning that you got from TFG…and that was a refreshing thing to hear…policy that will help the country and getting his agenda out on the floor so he can point to it as he succeeds getting some of it passed…now, I’m enough or a realist to know that the repub attacks and obstructionism will continue, but to paint Joe with being naive is just wrong, he still wants to try to find some reasonable people on the other side of the isle but I know he is experienced enough to know that is probably not going to happen…but being a good guy, he has to try…overall, I would rate it a great speech but that is not a surprise anymore…Joe has shown that he is up to it and his passion for what he does always comes through…good job….
Chelsea is for sale…
Well…okay folks, this one is about soccer so you may want to skip it unless you’ve found new interest in the English football game by watching Ted Lasso…so, it looks like Roman Abramovich, the Russian oligarch is going to sell the Chelsea football club and to hear him say it, it is all about his love for the club and English football…I guess the trial balloons about putting the club in trust crashed as the probability of sanctions against him grow by the day and that would mean that he would lose the club and any other assets he has in England….and that includes a couple of huge estates and the normal huge yacht that all of the oligarchs have….now, I will say that he has said the proceeds from the club will be donated to the victims of the Ukraine invasion but who is going to trust him when he has not come out against Putin since most of his cash is from being in the inner circle of Russian business and you don’t get to be a Russian billionaire without Putin approving it and and having a continuing relationship with him….so, let’s take all of this supposed concern for the Ukrainians with a supertanker sized grain of salt…I think he is just trying to avoid the sanctions that are coming and is scrambling to keep some cash when they hit….geez….
Russian bots are dead….
Well…I haven’t seen much of this reported other than in small comments about the facets of the Russian attack on the Ukraine but it does bleed over into what they are still doing to attack the US and sow discord while trying to exploit the natural divisions in our society. Once the attack on Ukraine started, one of the things that happened was the shut down of access to twitter and other social media sites in the US, and…surprise surprise…once that happened, the comments, likes, and retweets that were supposed to be coming from the US criticizing Biden and stirring up hate plummeted…to the point of disappearing completely…so gee, I wonder where those comments were coming from? Could it be….Russia? This is all of Russia’s plan to use Facebook, Twitter, and every other social media to attack the US and the owners of this media sit on their hands and do nothing about it…especially when they get rich from the ads that come with it…so now, we know that the dems want to do something about it by holding these folks accountable…but not a damn word from the repubs since we all know they benefit from the chaos and hate these bots foster by the dupes giving them money and the repubs amplifying the Russian propaganda that these bots swamp our society with. So, when you see comments supporting this right wing crap, just understand it’s not real people supporting them…it’s the Russian bots amplifying these unpopular ideas….I wonder what the repubs will do now with them being silenced? They sure won’t get any more bot “likes” to their bullshit….geez….
It’s all connected….
Well…when you look at the economy and how well it is doing, you would never know it by Biden’s approval rating which is hovering at 37%….and no matter what he does, record job growth, huge wage gains, repairing out standing in the world, no one knows it with how the media is focusing on bullshit and never even reports on any good things going….and, it hit me this morning that this hiding of Biden’s good achievements, most of the inflation, and focusing on the “failures” of the Biden administration is all connected….since most of the media in this country is run by repubs for repubs, it is just one facet of the attack that is going on against him right now…and inflation is the second…it is well known that prices are not rising for any reason other than business is taking excess profits and the whole inflation story is just a cover for that…look, when Starbucks could give each and every one if it’s employees a five thousand dollar bonus and still have 2.6 billion in profit left over…why the heck are they raising prices? And why are they fighting unionization so hard when they could easily afford everything that the workers are asking for and still be rolling in profit…it’s all about trying to take advantage of the inflation story that the repub editors have decided, in consultation with business owners, is going to be pushed all day every day both to give them cover for stealing more from their customers and to hurt any dem administration so they can get another repub in office who will let them steal everything and never pay any taxes at all. It really doesn’t matter how much they hurt the US while pulling this crap since they have no allegiance other than to themselves and their money…and all of this is connected into the web of deceit that they will use to continue to take more and more…people need to wake up to these connections and try to seek out the truth instead of just listening to the talking heads that go on and on about the price of gas when it’s all just gouging the people…and of course it’s Biden’s fault…geez…
