Well…just got a response from my e-mail to our new rep, Peter Meijer and the gist of the letter they sent is that if I haven’t gotten my 600 dollar covid relief check yet, I’m shit out of luck…or I’ll have to file a tax return to get a credit to offset the taxes I owe…hey shitheads, being on SS I don’t owe any taxes so how is that going to work? As I’ve said before, the SS admin has everything necessary to direct deposit the money into my checking account since they do it every damn month but the IRS can’t talk to them? Just another instance of doing everything right your whole life and then getting screwed since no one can do their damn jobs right…they can all go to hell…

Pay for play…exposed……
Well…these damn repubs are so stupid they are saying the quiet parts out loud…after most of the repubs in the House supported the lies that there was election fraud in the 2020 election that led directly to the attack on the capitol…there was huge backlash from their corporate donors who said they will stop giving money to the ones who supported the lie and insurrection…and what is the response of these repubs? To expose they are all doing “pay for play” by saying they won’t meet with any representative from the companies until they give them money again…gee…sounds a bit like blackmail or extortion to me and it does fit the criminal description of it….so now we know…okay, we knew this before…that the modern repubs are only in government to enrich themselves…they have no principles or any guiding system of governance…they are just in it for the money and when the money is shut off there is no reason for them to be there…not to make their voters life better since that never enters into their heads…just money…and money alone….god, I hate these guys…
Rudy is going to die broke….
Well…finally, some of the liars on the right are going to pay for lying about damn near everything…and it took companies to do it since the repub party is infested with liars that will say anything for advantage and are still lying about the election. After Dominion Voting Systems sued ole Rudy for 1.3 billion dollars for all of his lies about them that they cheated in the election and switched trump votes to Biden, he now is being sued by the Lincoln Project for lying that they were behind the attacks on the capitol when it has been clear from the start that it was a right wing plot financed by the trump campaign…and I just read the letter from their law firm on twitter and it is so damn funny that you should go out and read it…it just blasts rudy and asks “what happened to you?” and then goes on with a litany of things that rudy has done after becoming involved with trump….with this defamation suit, ole rudy is going to die penniless and they will take whatever is left over after the Dominion suit is over…how does that feel rudy? I think you probably should shut your mouth right now..and go away….

Well…holy crap, the repub party is electing the worst of the worst to congress…a bunch of delusional, conspiracy spreader morons that is led by Marjorie Green of Georgia are so far down the rabbit hole you have to wonder how they even dress themselves in the morning…while she has advocated murdering Nancy Pelosi and supports the Qanon conspiracy theory, one of the craziest damn thing I have ever heard came out of this moron’s mouth last year during the Camp fires in California. When commenting on how the fires started and that California shouldn’t get any federal aid since it was California that didn’t keep their forest floors “clean”, parroting trump’s idiocy of why the fires were so bad…but then she added her own brand of crazy, saying that the fires were started by “Jewish lasers from space” and then went off on George Soros and bleated every anti-semitic trope that the right uses to attack them. And guess what? After it was revealed in Facebook posts that she advocated murder of her political opponents, guess what the repub leadership did? Nothing, not a damn thing, so I guess now it’s okay to foment revolution and call for murder of dems and there is no price to pay for trying to destroy our government or country…in fact it is now an operating principle of the repub party here in the US. This crap has got to end and Nancy Pelosi has to strip this gargoyle of all committee assignments and make sure she can do no more damage to this country until she can be expelled from the house…geez…

Well…do you hear that? It’s the quiet sound of competence that Joe is bringing to all parts of the of the government…no fanfare, no boasting, no fighting, no name calling and guess what? Over 70% of the country likes what he’s doing and that even includes a lot of repubs that haven’t drunk the qanon koolaid….now, how long will that last? Who knows but one thing that I am a little pissed about is the damn MSM like the NYT who are questioning the use of executive orders to reverse the damage that idiot boy did with his…saying he is using them too much…look, Joe has been in office for 9 days and they are already bitching? Especially for protecting the DACA young adults who just want to have some stability in their lives and to know that ICE is not going to show up at their college and put them on a plane to a country they have never been to? All of the things Joe has done with EO’s have to been to root out the racist and homophobic bullshit that trump was doing with them and protecting Americans from discrimination like the ban on trans people serving in the military. Gee, I guess it’s hard for the media to understand that what Joe is doing is what the people want done, not just the rich or corporations…what the people want…now that’s a strange concept that the media just doesn’t understand….

Well…don’t ever let any repub lecture you on the rule of law ever again after the debacle that happened in the senate yesterday when 45 repub traitors voted to not even have a trial again for idiot boy’s second impeachment. So now I guess it’s okay to send a mob in to try to kill your senators and representatives….and your vice president and not be held accountable for it. This shouldn’t be a surprise since they didn’t hold a trial but just a vote for the idiot’s first impeachment when there was overwhelming evidence that he committed many, many crimes…but, while we probably won’t get a conviction this time, with the dems in charge of the senate there will be a trial and there will be witnesses and evidence presented and we need to expose how many of these traitors we in on the plot to overthrow the election….and to tar all of the repubs for supporting trump and letting him off both times. Cripes, I’m an old guy and I can’t remember a more craven un-American bunch than the current crop of repubs…when I was a kid, they at least had principles….but no longer…and they all need to go…

Well…does anyone else hear it? The wonderful silence of a twitterless idiot boy? I guess some his former aides are saying that trump is stewing now that Fauci is telling the truth about trying to be forced to lie for him….and you can see it in Fauci’s face that he relaxed with Biden in the WH and the re-emergence of an emphasis on science again…and trump is still really pissed that he can’t tweet to “set the record straight” when Biden told the world that there was no vaccine distribution plan that was left behind by trump’s cronies….you know what else is nice? Having competent experts being appointed to run the government instead of incompetent lackeys…oh, and no lies from the WH briefing room…just information that the country needs to know so everyone knows what is going on. I don’t cringe anymore when I get up and look at the news in the morning, either…since I know Joe is a decent man who would never do any of the crap that trump did daily…and I am even a little excited about the progress that Joe has made in just 6 days…the country looks and feels like a better place already and will continue to get better every day with Joe in charge…and now I’m a homeowner and it looks like I’ll make the deadlines for moving…all in all things are looking up…one more move…

Well…hey, I guess the new word from the supreme court is that if you run out the clock until you’re out of office, it’s all good and you won’t be held responsible. Just today, the SC dismissed multiple lawsuits against the idiot boy for violating the emoluments clause of the constitution (you know the one where an elected official is not supposed to take money from outside the government while in office that trump did every damn day)…saying that the suits were “moot” since he is no longer in office….giving him a pass on all of the bribes he got by renting rooms in his hotels at inflated prices to foreign governments and from these same governments renting office space at one of his buildings. Now, I think the SC missed an important chance to clarify what is legal and not legal in the way of these direct payments and you have the trump crony justices to thank for it…I guess he did finally get some “help” from his justices…they just saved him from having to pay all that money back…what a bunch of crooks….

Well…I guess Joe and his team are not screwing around and I am cheering…in the first day, wow: Killed the Muslim travel ban, restored LGBTQ rights to serve in the armed forces and be treated as equals, stopped asylum seeker deportations, stopped oil and gas drilling in the ANWR, killed the Keystone pipeline, fired the anti labor counsel of the NLRB, cleaned out many, many trump supporters civilians out of the armed forces, rejoined WHO, rejoined the Paris climate agreement, fired the trump loving head of the federal media agencies…oh, and his people are telling the truth. Gee…it’s like these guys know what they are doing and they are doing it for everyone in this country to try to make this a better place to live…imagine that…no scandals, no unqualified appointments and no golfing at his own club….and just the bestest thing is that ole Mitch is fuming along with all of the rest of the repubs calling these moves “divisive” and overreaching….it wasn’t when idiot boy did it but it surely is when we reverse it….but we all knew that was their game plan….bitch and complain about everything when they don’t get their way…tough luck, repubs…
Proud to be an American again….
Well…sitting here watching the inauguration and it just struck me that I am proud to be an American again….after 4 long years where I couldn’t say that, it is a relief to know that dignity is going to be restored to the presidency and I don’t have to be ashamed of the things that trump and his idiot followers were doing in our names…we now have a new president and first family who I am going to enjoy getting to know….what a relief….
