Well…as I’ve written about before, the repubs these days are the biggest chickenshits there are in this country…scared of everything and their own shadows. They even take to making up dangers since they are either using that fear to scare the hell out of their chickenshit followers or they really get off on being scared themselves…probably a little of both. The latest bogeyman they are fixated on is a couple of hundred refugees from Honduras and other central American countries who are trying to save their lives by leaving their homes and trying to get to the US…walking hundreds of miles into the unknown because that is better than the situations they left behind. But, of course, the idiot trump and his minions are turning these refugees into a horde of killing machines that are part ISIS and part terminator to demonize them since they just hate brown people so much and they know that, even though it is all lies, de-humanizing people they hate works to motivate their base and was the key to trump stealing the election. So, what do we do about it folks? We Vote….we elect humans to office and throw these monsters out and put them back under the rocks where they lived until trump released them….and we work every day to fix our elections so that they can’t be hijacked by gerrymandering and voter suppression…only then can we put the 28% of people in this country who are repubs back to their place as the fringe shouters they should be…not ruining this country with their bullshit and lies…impeach….

October 23rd
Well…running early again today…ick…up at 5:37 and that is getting old…I think I’ve said that many, many times lately and I’m getting tired of even writing it…I did sleep okay, though, so I guess that’s something…had a pretty good day and got a few things done…got the surface rust on the car taken care of and had a nice ride out and back to pool with the top down but those days are going to end here soon…oh, and I won at pool…I think….didn’t get anything else done yesterday but I have a few things to do today…need to get my hair cut and then make a run out to the daily deals store to look at fully cooked turkey breast they have on sale…only 77 cents a pound but I do need to check the salt content so I’m not surprised like I was with the ham a few weeks back….I did make some fish for dinner last night but my stomach was queasy all night after that so I wonder if the fish was bad or if it was just from not eating enough…I guess I’ll find out when I have the other two fillets today….more later…

Well…as the pre-excuses start to pile up from the repubs since it looks like they will lose the house next month…the idiot trump has started to float a real whopper…that the mid-terms are not a “real” election so his followers don’t really need to turn out to vote…and the second part of that is that if they do lose, it’s not his fault since the mid-terms are not a referendum on him but it is anyone else’s fault but his…and he lies, and lies that “people” are coming up to him at his propaganda shows and telling him that they will never, ever vote in the mid-terms since idiot boy is not running….the delusion continues with trump saying that any repub who loses didn’t tie themselves closely enough to trump and his policies since he and they are so popular. Man, is there any dumber person on the planet? All I have to say is keep it up idiot…keep telling your deplorables to stay home and not vote and maybe we can take the senate, too…what a moron….impeach…
October 22nd
Well…just noticed that I didn’t come back for a second one yesterday and I’m not sure why that is…didn’t have anything to do but watch sports so there was plenty of time…hmmm…not sure how I slept last night but I feel like it was crappy so I’ll go with that…my neck has been killing me the past few days and that’s another one I can’t figure out…must be that I’m sleeping wrong but it should work out if that’s what it is but it continues all day….another puzzler…didn’t get a lot done yesterday other than clean the stove top and the controls for it…I do have to stop wearing my glasses around here since I see how dirty things are when I wear them…and that makes me need to clean when I don’t want to….probably won’t get to much today with pool this aft…but, I do have to work on some surface rust on the car again this morning but that will have to wait til the temp comes up some….more later….
October 21st
Well…after that bad news, I still do need to do this one before I get on the bike this morning…yeah, running really late today and just can’t get started even though I slept in til almost 7…and even with that, I still feel a little worn out today and I shouldn’t be since I didn’t do much yesterday…I did get out to have a couple with K in the afternoon but that made sure I wouldn’t get anything done…and, I’m not sure what I’ll do this aft with two races on and the Lions playing so I guess I’ll play it by ear….I really don’t like having to wait for the temp to come up to get on the bike but I guess I’ll have to get used to it as we get deeper into fall…I do need to do a top down color tour at some point in the next week or so before the leaves are all down but I’m just not in the mood to go today….not much to do today…I should clean the kitchen some but that’s not a morning thing to me so I guess I’ll just have to finish the coffee and watch some bad sci fi movies for now…more later…
Some bad news…
Well…heard some bad news yesterday when G called and said her father had died Friday…it wasn’t too big of a shock since he had a massive stroke two weeks ago and had been on a ventilator ever since…so, with that news, the rest of what I have to say is kind of put into perspective and really is of no importance right now…so, I’ll come back later with another one….more later….
October 20th
Well…things seem to be back to normal with my wake up time…I think so, anyway…got up at 6 today and I’m trying to get moving but really don’t need to just yet…Man U plays at 8 so that will keep me from getting out on the bike until they start to stink the place up….they are playing Chelsea today and that is normally a pretty good game but there is a lot of turmoil at Man U right now so who knows how they’ll play….I did check my BP just a few minutes ago and that confused me….it is 117/71 and that is lower than it has been in a week or so and I really didn’t do anything different to change it…hmmmm….didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today looks to be the same with all of the sports on….Michigan plays State at noon and then there is a race on later so I’ll be couch bound most of the day…I do have to cook lunch but that will be simple with just making some chicken and steaming some cauliflower and carrots….bought one of those collapsing veggie steamers that seems to work quite well but I am still learning how to use it….oh, and I do need to clean the kitchen but that will be in between the sports…more later….
Health update…
Well…just got back from the doctors appointment where they were going to try to fix the snafu that got my initial Medicare appointment payment rejected…and there was some good news that I am going to celebrate today…in the month since the last appointment, I’ve lost 5 pounds and the EKG they took today was completely normal, so at least no heart problems are evident right now…and I passed all of the tests they use to look for dementia…along with the cursory vision tests they did…so, I feel pretty good about that…I am still trying to figure out my blood pressure not dropping to where it should be with me being good and cutting out all of the salt in my diet…but, I’m not going to worry about that right now, I DO get to celebrate a little or what the hell is life for?

Well…we all knows that the idiot trump lies all the time, but, do they all have to lie all the time? The latest in the liar contest is the SoS Mike Pompeo who grinnind and laughed his way through a meeting with the rulers of Saudi Arabia that was supposed to be about the murder of Jamal Khashoggi, a reporter for the Washington Post, but from the behavior of Pompeo and his assistants, you would think they were on vacation…given the photos of them mugging for the camera. But, the worst thing was the lies that Pompeo told after the meeting where he stated that he knew that Khashoggi had “disappeared” but he didn’t know if he was alive or not…now, this is the biggest lie of them all when it was reported this morning that Pompeo heard the tape of the murder while he was in Saudi Arabia and before he lied to the world…and with yesterday’s revelation that trump and his minions knew about the planning for the abduction and murder, they are accomplices in that murder since they did and said nothing to stop it. Is this what the US has come to now? Letting a thug regime murder journalists just to protect trump’s financial involvement in the country? As every revelation of the moral rot inside this administration comes, I find myself more and more disgusted at both trump and the repubs that enable this behavior…they are all culpable in murder….impeach…
October 19th
Well….slept in a little today with not getting up until 6:16 but I don’t feel any different for it…or better for that matter so I’m not sure of the value of additional sleep…had an okay day yesterday and got a few things done so that was a bonus…got the car cleaned but I think I may have to re-do the windows since there is still some fog on them and that annoys the hell out of me…didn’t get a lot else done but the bike ride and groceries and really didn’t have too much energy with trying to get my weight down and skipping everything that has even a hint of salt in it…my BP has not been good and I’m having trouble getting it below 120 so no salt or anything that tastes good…and that means I may need to cut coffee out, too, but just don’t want to give up everything that I enjoy….I do have another doctors appointment this morning at 10 and I think it’s just for an ekg to get Medicare to pay for my check up….what a pain in the butt…not sure when I’m going to get the bike ride in today…I may do it as soon as it gets light but if I wait, I may be able to go out in shorts again….more later…
