Well…just got back from getting my teeth cleaned and had a bit of good news…I’ve made so much progress with them that they don’t need to see me again until next January…only the periodontist to see in July and then we’re back on a normal schedule and won’t lose any more teeth….I think that may deserve a cocktail tonight and I just might break my streak….what a relief…at first, my dentist thought I’d lose all my teeth but not anymore….not sure if I’m going to have another meal today with the big one I had for lunch…we’ll see…and yes I am reading the news for a topic….

Starship go boom…
Well…again, even though I hate elon….it was cool to see the super heavy with starship take off this morning…but, that was about all that was good about it…the first and second stage failed to separate and the whole thing started to tumble so it was destroyed…one good thing was the look on ole elon’s face sitting in the control room when it blew…poor, poor, elon…I’ll do one in politics when I get back from having my teeth cleaned at 2…

April 20th
Well…that was better…went to bed at the normal time last night and only woke up twice…at 1:40 and 5:07…then stayed in bed til 6:17 after I smelled the coffee…had dreams all night and that was cool…it was about inventing a new game that changed every time you played it and all players had input on what would change as the game evolved…yeah, have no clue where that came from…have never been into RPG’s but I’ll take it…probably why I feel refreshed this morning…it looks like the rides will be indoors today with a line of storms coming in here in a half hour or so…it will be warm enough to go outside but after the pain I got from the wind yesterday, I don’t want to compound that today….and I have a teeth cleaning at 2 this afternoon so I need to be done by one or so…I may be able to put the top down on the car going to the appointment but will have to seal the car up while I’m there with forecasts of rain and storms all day….it was pretty funny moving the heating pad on me all night last night to hit the five spots of pain I had from the ride…even my right knee started to hurt and that never happens….but no pain this morning so the heat must have worked…not much to do today….just need to read some news and have coffee right now and get on the bike by 8….second night of being good has me feeling okay today but I may break that tonight…or maybe not, who knows? More later…
Got a bunch of stuff done…again…
Well…I don’t know whey I keep doing these when it seems that every day is a day I get a bunch of stuff done….started out with the grocery runs and then when I got back here, I took the cover off the garden to see that I’ve lost almost all of the tomatoes but I have a lot of them downstairs still so I may be able to salvage that…then I made a chicken stir fry for lunch and I think my taste is still limited since it just didn’t have the flavor it used to have…then out on the bike outdoors for a brutal ride at 45 degrees with a 20 mph wind blowing from the NE on the way back…and lets add in a little rain for the last 5 miles coming back….so, there was no way I was going to get back on the bike outside since it nearing the end of April and I’m still wearing almost full thermasuit to go outside….so then I went downstairs and put 8 in for 23 miles today and I can live with that…it was supposed to get over 60 today but it’s not going to get there but I hope it does tomorrow….but I’m done for the day…going to just have a chicken sandwich for dinner since I do need to eat something to support all the running and miles today…going to take another day off tonight and be good and will try to stretch that all the way to next Tuesday….
Dominion settled…
Well…cripes jury selection just started yesterday and fox news decided to settle the lawsuit Dominion filed against them for 787 million dollars…and I will be the first to say I’m pretty damn disappointed that dominion didn’t inflict more damage on fox and drag their dirty laundry of lies out into the open….and force rupert murdoch, his son , and the on air liars to testify in court that they knew they were lying and didn’t care…and while 787 million dollars seems like a lot of money, the murdochs won’t pay a penny of it…all of you who have cable or satellite tv are going to be the ones who pay since you pay for fox now even if you don’t watch it…they will just raise the fees that all of the carriers pay them and probably end up making a profit off settling the suit…one silver lining in the whole thing is that the head of Dominion said they were just getting started and there would be more suits…and I’m hoping that individual suits will be fired against tucker and the rest of the on air liars…and remember that Smartmatic still has a 2.6 billion dollar suit that an appeals court has said can go forward so we still have that one to look forward to….geez…
April 19th
Well…that really, really sucked…didn’t go to bed til an hour after normal and the tried and tried to sleep and maybe got 2-3 hours…so it’s going to be a low and slow day today…still have lots to do with the grocery run this morning, uncovering the garden and then trying to get two bike rides in….I was good last night so that has something to do with not sleeping and I’m going to be good until next Tuesday night after my MRI…didn’t get a lot done yesterday but do the laundry but today will be much busier and when I run out of steam, which I will, I am going to try not to power through it but rest a bit….it looks like I will still have most of the garden after the freeze last night…I hope…and I finally have peppers and tomatoes downstairs so I can replace everything I lost….I have to get my absentee ballot filled out for the millage election out here and drop it off at the cop shop tomorrow to keep my string alive of voting in every election I’ve been eligible….I won’t say not much to do today because that’s not true…have lots to do but I don’t need to get going just yet…have to stall until the Meijer pharmacy opens at 9 since I need to pick up some prep stuff for the MRI….more later..
The fox news trial is on…
Well…there was a lot of consternation by commenters and the news media that the Dominion/fox news suit was going to be settled before trial but jury selection has started today so I guess those talks are off…I wanted to see the suit go to trial for selfish reasons…that a trial will do much more damage that any settlement since settlements can be kept secret and we might have never known what happened and fox would be able to continue to lie about it…and I know why there was concern in the media about a settlement…since that would take away an easy story for them that will stay in the news now probably for months as the trial goes on…with the earlier summary judgement earlier that Dominion’s evidence gotten in discovery already proved fox’s liability, the only thing that Dominion needs to prove now is what’s called “actual malice” that fox new they were lying and kept it up anyway…and that may be a little difficult but is certainly doable….can’t wait to read more about the trial…and remember that this is just the first suit…Smartmatic has another, bigger one in the pipeline and if fox loses the Dominion suit, it will be in a world of hurt for the second one….geez…
Still can’t get moving…
Well…damn, still can’t get moving today and I’m not sure why that would be…just laid on the couch all morning and haven’t even taken a shower yet and it after 1…I did get laundry run so I guess that’s something…I am going to go out to fill the bird feeder in a bit and will check on the garden then…it’s still in the 30′s but I’m hoping that the partial sun will make the plastic act as a greenhouse and warm up the dirt so the plants don’t die….both my right hip and shoulder hurt today and it must be from sleeping on them last night…although my hip hurt before I went to bed so maybe that’s not it…I better get going if I’m going to get anything done today….more later…
April 18th
Well… damn, I’m so worn out today that I am contemplating taking the day off….I wonder how that would feel? Not sure what is going on but I woke up sweating through everything today and I wonder if that has something to do with losing my taste? Okay, with losing so much weight, I have lots of crepey skin that is just hanging off me and that makes me look so damn old….how the hell do you have hanging skin on your hands? I am going to try to get on the bike today but not too soon….have no motivation at all right now and one of these days I’m just going to sit here and do nothing…there is snow on the ground out there and I guess I’m going to just assume that I’ve lost the garden and will have to start over…but I’m not sure I want to…not sure if I want to do anything….slept okay last night but don’t have a lot of energy right now….have laundry running already and need to go down and put it in the dryer in a minute…I spread one chicken breast over two meals yesterday but my brain is treating that as a lot of food when it’s only about 300 calories…probably under 1K for the day yesterday and that is not sustainable….not much to do today….don’t want to do anything right now but have more coffee and sit here…going to try to get moving but I feel so damn tired…oh, well…I am old after all…more later….
