Well….as if pushing an unapproved drug for coronvirus that kills people isn’t enough, the moron in chief yesterday told his stupid followers that “intense” UV rays and injecting disinfectant is the new cure…yep, you heard that bit of colossal stupidity right….he wants people to get 3rd degree sunburns and inject themselves with Lysol to “cure” the virus…and do you want to bet that some of his followers are going to do it? Look, repubs, I know you want more unqualified judges, but do you really want this idiot killing more people than the 60,000 he already has? Okay, we all know the answer to that…and it is yes…yes they do want to kill more people…especially if they are the brown and black people who are disproportionately killed by the virus. Why do you think Kemp wants to open Georgia? Because the right wing media is still pushing the idea that white people are immune and that is one of the reasons for the “demonstrations” by all white people to reopen the country….along with the whole “the cure is worse than the disease” lies that are pushed by the billionaires who are behind the idiot uprising. Incompetence squared…
Well….I really don’t think there is language to describe how incompetent trump and his cronies are in response to the coronavirus pandemic….maybe incompetence squared? Fip floppy? Whinery? Strategery? Okay, that last one was from ole GW but it still fits these morons….and now, the head person that was coordinating the vaccine/treatment response has been demoted/fired for telling trump that any reccommendations for treatments for the virus need to be based on science and not on the idiot trump’s “gut feel”…the last one that trump and fox news harped on and pushed as the “cure” for the virus has been shown in studies to kill people and make outcomes worse than if they weren’t treated….so in addition to the deaths that idiot boy is responsible for by his inaction and stupidity, he is now responsible for touting a deadly treatment that does nothing but kill people. Now we learn that HHS secretary Azar has appointed a crony to head the coronavirus response whose only qualification is…wait for it…that he is a dog breeder…no medical or scientific experience at all. What’s next? Putting a horse breeder on charge of FEMA? Oh, that was ole GW who did that…what’s wrong? Was ‘heckofajob Browie” not available? These assholes are playing at government and costing American’s their lives and yet they still have 41% of the country that still supports them….I really do think that “Idiocracy” is a how to manual for these morons and we are going to die because of it….
Now we know why Kemp is opening Georgia…
Well…you know, I’m getting damn tired of the repubs spending all their time trying to screw over the workers who make this country work and I know I’m always harping on the worst of them and how creative they are doing it…there has been a lot of confusion on why the repub governor of Georgia is putting the whole damn state at risk by opening businesses up way to damn early in the infection curve. But now we know why he is doing it and it is for one vile reason…if there is no stay at home order in place, then the workers who choose to stay home to not die are no longer quaified for any assistance at all….not fed, not unemployment, no nothing since they will be considered to have “quit” their jobs that will save the state huge amounts of unemployment insurance and will lead to many of the most vulnerable going hungry and becoming homeless just because the repubs are such assholes and just can’t resist hurting people just for the hell of it. I have had enough of these guys cheating their way into office…as Kemp did by the go to method of repubs by voter suppression, and then using their office to screw people over just for the fun of it….no empathy or humanity from these assholes and they all need to go…
The death cult strikes again….
Well….how stupid are these people? First you have the “protesters” of the lockdowns going around and exposing people to the virus as part of their “freedumb” and owning the libs….and I have a bitch about that…a few thousand astroturf fake protesters wave their guns and maga hats around and the news falls all over themselves calling it a “movement” when we all know it’s bankrolled by the DeVos family and other billionaires who don’t give a shit about people that they are going to hurt by “reopening” the country just for their profit….and now you have the governors of Georgia, Florida, and Texas getting ready to let beaches, businesses, restaurants and bars open by the weekend even though the virus is still tearing through their states with no letup or “flattening of the curve” that is generally agreed to need to happen before any talk of opening anything…but do these morons care? Nope, they are so steeped in the death cult that the repubs have become that they believe that sacrificing thousands of lives needlessly is worth it to get “bidness” back on track. So, in about two weeks, we are going to see thousands of new cases that are going to spread across the country as these morons believe the lies from rush, Hannity and the rest that this sickness is no worse than the flu…even though it has already killed more people than we lost in the Vietnam war and the curve is not bending downward….this is what a death cult looks like…killing people in service to business by opening the country, by loosening environment regs that is going to let power plants pour mercury into thy sky and the brains of vulnerable children, and by heating the environment that will kill millions by drought and disease….the shit is going to hit the fan in two weeks, and it isn’t going to be pretty…
Oil is crashing…
Well…another thing that trump gets involved in crashes and burns…just today, after trump boasted about his “greatest deal” to get Russia and Saudi Arabia to cut oil production, oil prices crashed to their lowest point in almost 30 years….trading as low as a dollar a barrel this afternoon with the prospect of oil companies having to pay people to get them to take their oil….I know that not all of this is trump’s fault, but much is since this crash is related to coronavirus pandemic that is burning through this country as trump fiddled away all of the early warning time he was given to golf and hold rallies. One thing that has been puzzling me from the start of the oil crash is whey the hell was trump trying to raise prices in the first place? Well…we know the why is that his cronies in the oil business have been pushing him to do something to get their profits back up, but doesn’t trump realize that every dollar a barrel means a hundred million dollars in “tax” on the American consumer? Cripes we know the answer to that one, too…he just doesn’t care as long as he can take care of his cronies….he never gave a damn about anyone but himself for his whole life so why would now be different? My big bitch about the whole thing is that with not being able to drive, I can’t take advantage of the cheap gas prices that may go under a buck a gallon soon…

Well….cripes they are at it again…if you were under any delusion that the “protests” that hit only blue states were a grass roots movement, just take a look who is organizing them….someone who works for the DeVos family which includes our crappy sec of education. Have you seen one of the “protests” in a red state? Nope, and the amoral DeVos family is trying to use this pandemic to damage as many dem governors as they can…and hiding their role behind an “organic” protest lie…if they are organic, why none in Florida, or Texas, or Oklahoma? This isn’t the first time that the DeVos family has used their money to try to ruin an institution here in Michigan….they were the one who bankrolled the whole for profit charter school scam here to make sure their cronies could suck the education system dry and use tax dollars to promote religious schools and their extreme right wing ideology while they indoctrinate vulnerable children. If there is a better reason to tax the hell out of these people so they don’t have the money to try to subvert the results of elections here in Michigan, I haven’t seen it. At least this time the media is digging into who is bankrolling these “protests” and are doing a little better in not buying the propaganda coming out of the DeVos machine….

Well….after the embarrassing pushback from dem governors on the idiot trump’s ranting that he controls the states and when they come out of quarantine, he now has a new rant going on…and it is a coded message to his followers to “liberate” all of the states that are run by duly elected dem governors…essentially calling for civil war and violence against these elected officials. So, hey repubs…especially you, Susan Collins, is this the changed trump you just “knew” was going to appear after your rigged trial in the senate? This is the treasonous criminal you let off the hook just to give more money to the rich and to pack the courts with unqualified judges who will ignore the law and vote for the repubs political advantage…and now he is calling for murder of his political opponents…and it is a call for murder…it’s not just “trump being trump” as you folks on the right excuse all of his shredding of our constitution and criminality…and now what the hell are you going to do about this? Okay, I knew I could get you laughing with that one…they are going to do not…one…damn….thing. They are going to open up their red states and murder more than the 60,000 Americans trump’s incompetence has already killed….and it goes on and on and on….November, please get here fast…
Selfishness on display….
Well….I didn’t know that not being able to plant flowers or get a haircut was a threat to the “freedom” of the people of Michigan. Yesterday, spurred on by fox news, you know, the network that said that the coronavirus was a hoax…a bunch of rural, white repubs decided that trying to prevent the spread of the virus was not “‘murican” and not being able to go out to bars and gun ranges was the “greatest” threat to freedom in the history of the country….and a few of them even got out of their cars to gather on the steps of the capital to wave their guns, confederate flags, and trump 2020 flags and “own the libs” by ignoring social distance recommendations…. after all they say, that most of the infections are in “urban” areas which is racist code for black areas and they just think they are immune from the virus since they live in the country….now, I’ve raged about the selfishness of repubs here for years now….that they don’t care about any crisis unless it hits their immediate family and this puts that selfishness on full display…that even minor inconvenience…well, the stay at home orders are more than a minor inconvenience to many people who have lost their jobs and their businesses, but what are their lives worth? Again, the right is trotting out the “economic anxiety” excuse for the protests, that people need to get back to work, but that is the same reason that they used to explain the election of trump that has been exploded many times…and the true reason is that unless you are straight, white, and christian, you don’t count at all and it is okay that you die or get locked up in cages since you are “the other”….what other reason would there be for waving a confederate flag? I know that this lockdown is hard on people…even for someone like me who is used to being alone…but this “protest” of these morons is going to get people killed just like the 90% of coronavirus deaths here in the US that could have been avoided if trump and his cronies had done their jobs instead of playing politics with the response…I guess we are not “in this together”…but over the past 30 years we never were….

Well…just when you think the idiot trump couldn’t go any lower, he gets the damn shovel out and digs another 6 feet down…the latest bullshit from the bullshitter in chief is he just HAD to have his name on the relief checks that are being sent out like it is his own money that is being sent….and that one change to stroke this asshole’s vanity is going to cause the checks to go out at least a week late and maybe more…so people are not going to be able to pay their bills on time or even eat just so this narcissistic ass can have his name in front of the millions of people that need to money to just survive…and I know why he is doing it…he thinks that people will be thankful to him personally that they are getting the money…and to some of the ill informed followers of his, this may be true…but to the rest of the country who need this money asap to stay alive…the extra week or two that this signature is going to cost means that children go hungry, that old folks can’t buy their medicine, and people are going to die…just for this asshole’s vanity. Just like the 40,000 or so Americans who are dying or have died so trump could go golfing and hold his rallies in Feb as he downplayed the virus and did nothing. Okay, media…and dems, what are you going to do about it…media: ask that question at today’s propaganda conference…and dems, get an ad out today informing the people that it is trump’s vanity that is delaying your relief….now is the time for push back on this insanity…geez…why do we even have to do this?
So sorry repubs, it didn’t work…
Well….if you looked at the news over the past week or so, you saw the mighty voter suppression efforts by Wisconsin repubs to try to save a supreme court seat that even involved the US supreme court who dutifully weighed in and handed the repubs the tools they needed to try to steal the seat….and this included making sure that most polling places were closed in dem areas and forcing in person voting instead of the safer vote by mail that the dem governor was championing. But, a funny thing happened….dem voters braved the coronavirus and hours long lines to do their duty and thwarted the bad faith efforts of the repubs to rig the election….and three of Scott Walker’s hand picked judges went down to defeat…most importantly, a true progressive won the 10 year seat on the supreme court, whittling away at the repub majority who have done their best to support making it harder and harder for everyone but repubs to vote. The vote wasn’t even close and pundits are chalking that up to the dem voters being pissed and really, really motivated to make every damn one of the repbus to go away….and this time, even some of the repub base was snared in the voter suppression net and had to endure the long lines just like we always do….maybe it will open their eyes to the fact that their “leaders” are only out for themselves and to retain their power…they don’t give a damn about their voters…these results leave me with a glimmer of hope that there is a landslide coming this fall….maybe we can even take back the government here in Michigan…that would be cool….
