Well…didn’t get up til 6 but that didn’t help feeling crappy and tired this morning…just damn exhausted and I could use another day of taking it easy but I don’t have the time for that…need to continue to get ready for the move and have to get the internet working at the house along with shades and new thermostat…and I need to get the back yard ready for the new fence so it looks like another busy week…at least my foot is not hurting much and I may be able to stop the medication…or taper it off like I was instructed…I’ll bet it will still hurt to put a shoe on but I can live with that….I did get a bunch of moving related prep done around here yesterday and even got a bike ride in but I will have to wait til later to go out with it being in the 40’s right now and I just don’t want to be cold yet…I know that is coming but I am not ready to give up shorts yet…I am under 300 miles to go to beat my record on the bike and it looks like I may get there riding on the trainer indoors…but that is still riding and it counts….more later…

Ha, ha, ha…it’s fox news that is taking down trump…
Well….just read an article that I found to be pretty insightful and that posits that it is fox news who is taking down trump…just like the rest of the mouth breathing droolers who believe everything that fox news says…the idiot trump does exactly the same thing, but this time, believing the completely untrue conspiracy theory that fox news has been pushing about the Biden’s “corruption”, the idiot trump has acted on these lies by trying to extort the Ukraine into investigating them again…even though all 4 other investigations have found no “there” there and have found no wrongdoing by the Bidens at all. So, it appears that trump is no different from the rest of the fox news zombies but he has the power to take the lies to a new level that includes sending Barr all over the world to try to get anyone to buy into these conspiracies and lie for him. The fallout from all of this is that the countries that Barr has visited to try to use their intelligence agencies to dig up dirt on both our own IC and the Bidens are all fuming mad about the attempt and have told Barr to just stay the hell away from them….lots of winning, huh? These clowns need to be removed from office and put on trial for their crimes…can’t wait to see the Barr perp walk…geez…
October 6th
Well…man, that was a busy day yesterday with getting most of the old papers and trash out of here to get ready for the move…and one of my sons stopped over since he was on this side of the state and it was good to see him…and I put a new set of plugs in the car since I didn’t like how it ran with the ngk copper ones in it…we’ll see how that works when I run errands this morning…need to get the new shades and a thermostat for the house to get ready for the move on the 19th…which another of my sons and his wife are going to help with….just too damn much money for a mover to move 15 items 15 miles…I mean, 500 bucks? So, I hope my foot is healed by then and I can get some shoes on…it seems better today but I am still subconsciously favoring it and that is screwing up my back when I walk funny…I do have lots to do today and it all needs to be done before Man U plays at 11:30…it is almost warm enough to get out on the bike in a t-shirt but I don’t like being cold so I’ll need a fleece…more later….
The idiot trump is killing manufacturing…
Well…everyone knows that trump is ignorant of economics and thinking that trade wars are “easy to win” shows it…and the latest numbers on manufacturing in this country really pound that point home…in the past two months, US manufacturing has contracted by almost 8 percent and every damn economist and manufacturer puts the blame squarely on trump’s idiotic trade war and the disruption to the world economy it has caused…and now, even manufacturing employment is diving with manufacturers seeing that things are going to get much much worse before they get better so they are laying off workers across almost every industry…to the tune of hundreds of thousands of workers. This is just the start of a manufacturing bloodbath that the dems can use to punch holes in the myth of the trump economy…along with the tax scam for the rich which did nothing for anyone but the rich….if we’re lucky, the moron in chief will be long gone before the election…but, if not, he is going lose like he always loses…and this time it will mean jail time for the criminal in chief….

Well…as you know, I’m getting ready to move in the next couple of weeks and have started to get quotes from movers to move the 12 pieces of furniture that I have…the first one that came in was from two men and a truck and I am still fricking shocked by what they want to charge…I mean 500 bucks to move 12 pieces of furniture 15 miles? Needless to say, they sure aren’t getting my business and I am waiting for another couple to come in..hey Tom…you want to help me move one more time? I can rent a van for the day for about 25 bucks and the only heavy thing I have to move is my couch and it sure as hell won’t take 3 to 5 hours that the movers are charging…at 159 bucks an hour…cripes…
October 5th
Well…woke up this morning way too early to no more progress with my foot and that is a little disappointing…I know I abused it working at the house yesterday but I was really hoping that yesterday’s improvement would be continued today….oh, well…and it was another 4:54 morning today and I am really tired of not sleeping even though I stayed up later than normal….I did make a lot of progress on the house yesterday, finishing the kitchen floor, painting the last two windows in the living room and then cleaning that floor, too…and I got the kit I need to get the internet working Monday so I can schedule the movers for week after next…and that is not a minute too soon…I think all the driving is wearing on the car and is not running right….I think it may be the spark plugs I put in a month or so ago and I think I’ll replace them with the platinum ones I normally use…the engine is just not smooth like it used to be and all I need to do is get it to winter when I’ll put it in the garage and work on it to fix all the little things that are wrong with it…I do need to cook today and get rid of some trash that will leave almost half of this place empty…and one of sons may be stopping by with being on this side of the state for a funeral…and it is too cold to get out on the bike until this afternoon so I may take the luxury of just starting the day off slow…more later,,,
Do we really want to talk about trump some more?
Well…I for one are sick of trump and his assembly of criminals who are screwing over the country and world…and now, since he hasn’t been held accountable for coercing Ukraine into investigating his political rivals, the idiot boy goes on live tv and tries to do the same thing to China…but, the Chinese are having none of it, saying that they are not going to get involved in US politics (at least in public) and trump is pretty damn dumb if he thinks he can force them to do it. Yesterday’s news that Pence is also involved in extorting Ukraine, basically laying out what they had to do to get the 400 million dollars in military aid…and guess what? Today, the Ukraine announced that they would investigate, for the fourth time, the company that Joe Biden’s son worked for…and that every other investigation found that there was no there there…no corruption that had anything to do with the Bidens but that wasn’t enough for trump and his cronies…they are now investigating a bunch of conspiracy theories that were born in the far right fever dreams of Brietbart and Infowars. At least impeachment is coming…and I hope that will smack the idiot upside the head and get him ready for jail time after he’s gone…
October 4th
Well…cripes, I just saw that I didn’t come back here for a second one yesterday and I am going to blame it on the pain in my foot…it did hurt like crazy all day and doing the errands I needed to do made it worse to the point I couldn’t get my shoe on anymore…but, when I woke up this morning I can feel progress and it doesn’t hurt as much as it did yesterday…I’m still walking funny favoring it and I think I now can feel a reaction to the flu shot I got Tuesday….feeling warm and coughing so maybe it’s actually a bug? Who knows? But, I do know the pain from this bout of gout…ha, that’s funny…was the most pain I’ve felt since the bike crash last year…and I’m probably going to aggravate it working on the house today…going to be over there most of the day waiting for a UPS delivery that will allow me to get my internet up and running Monday…then, the race to the move starts and I should be over there the week after next…got some of the kitchen loaded up yesterday and will maybe finish that over the weekend…don’t want to move my spices or pots yet since I do need to cook but everything else will be gone before next week…or, maybe I’ll take the weekend off and just hang out and veg to try to get my foot healed completely…I am having a couple with K this afternoon to celebrate the move and that should be fun….more later…
October 3rd
Well…running a little late today with doing a hobbling grocery run and my foot feeling like fire with every step….but, that is not the worst of it…just getting a shoe on is the most pain I have felt in years and even ibuprofen does nothing to help it…so, I may be resting it some today…Thursdays are normally days off anyway but that is to do my food errands but I think today will just be taking care of the foot…of course, I didn’t sleep for crap last night since the weight of just the sheets set the pain in my foot howling and there was no way to get comfortable…so, I am exhausted again today but need to load the car up for the trip over to the house tomorrow…but that is going to wait for a while as I let the coffee work some…didn’t get a lot done yesterday but do some repairs on window frames so I can sand and paint to get ready to buy some new shades and install them next week….I may try to get started to clean this place today but I have all month so we’ll see how the foot feels…I’m kind of glad it’s raining out there so I don’t feel guilty about not riding but I may try to get one in if it stops…my foot doesn’t hurt when I ride but getting the shoe on is going to be hard….more later….
It’s a meltdown!
Well….the idiot trump continues to melt down from the reality that even his delusional ass has recognized…that he is going to be impeached, he may not be removed but he will not win reelection and he is going to go to jail after his term is done. In his latest rants, he went after Adam Schiff, the chair of the foreign relations committee, calling his impeachment investigation treason and calling for Schiff to be arrested for doing his job…and idiot boy went off again after Schiff and Nancy Pelosi held a joint news conference describing how they are going to proceed telling the reporters the investigation is going to be swift and thorough…and telling the country that they have had enough of trump’s obstruction and anyone who ignores subpoenas or tells their subordinates to not testify is guilty of obstruction of the impeachment investigation and there will be consequences if they do it…so maybe we’re getting somewhere, finally…
