Well…the hypocrisy is reaching new, even higher levels coming of the repubs today…if that is even possible…and remembering the breathless screaming about Hillary’s private e-mail server that was endlessly investigated for years…it was revealed yesterday that both Jared and Ivanka have been using private e-mails to conduct government business for the past two years with Jared going so far as to use a little app called WhatsApp to contact diplomats in other countries so it will be kept secret and there will be no record of what he says as he tries to make “deals” with other countries. Now, we all know this is against the law but, hey, that doesn’t matter to these criminals and their enablers in the repub party…the supposed party of “law and order” are just fine with breaking the law if a repub does it. It isn’t bad enough that we have an inexperienced crook who is basically running our foreign policy, but now we can’t even know what he is saying to the murderer MBS or how he is trading on his position to make money for himself…that is exactly the purpose of the laws that were enacted for transparency in government and why there are severe penalties for breaking them…but, with trump running the justice department, you can bet there will never be any consequences for this bullshit…let’s just trash the rule of law some more so we’ll have to clean it up in 2021….impeach…

Well…running somewhat late this morning and I just can’t get going which is getting to be the new normal lately…didn’t get out of bed until almost 6:30 but that doesn’t mean I slept well because I didn’t…part of that may be that I am sore everywhere from getting back on the bike outdoors this week and using all kind of new muscles that I just didn’t use riding inside…I feel like I have been beaten all over and it popped into my head yesterday that I just feel old and I never think like that…and the ride was just torture for the whole thing and that usually doesn’t happen until I’ve been out a few weeks….hmmm….I did get out to run a couple of errands and went back to Aldi’s to get the salmon that I forgot the other day…couldn’t pass it up at 3.99 a pound and thought I’d treat myself a little…need to get a couple of fillets in a marinade here in a while so I can bake it for lunch today…and I splurged ever more with asparagus to have with it so it should be a nice, healthy lunch….didn’t get anything else done yesterday but watch sports and veg quite a bit and today looks the same with how I’m feeling…unless the coffee works soon…more later…
Too many topics…
Well…running late for the second one today since I had some errands to run this morning, made a homemade pizza for lunch, and then got a bike ride in which left me really, really sore…and now I’m having a problem trying to decide what to write about since there are so many topics with the crazy assed things that are going on in the world. First thing…I wonder what the hell is wrong with trump and the repubs when idiot boy goes off on John McCain in a speech and says that he “allowed” McCain’s funeral to happen when he had not one damn thing to do with it…and not one repub has said one word about how sick it is for trump to continue to slander McCain…after all, he is dead and has been for a while now and it just shows how small and petty trump is…but, we all know that….and I think we are all damn tired of hearing about it….so, I won’t talk about it…at least anymore today…MSU is playing in the tournament and I want to watch it….
March 21st
Well…running really late this morning and just can’t get going…the grocery run was a chore and I’m glad that it was the only thing I have to do today…other than getting out on the bike later…I did get out yesterday but it started raining about halfway through the ride and, at 41 degrees, it was not too pleasant…but, I survived it and I am getting used to being outdoors again…slept okay last night but my head is plugged up again and it must be the allergies and that is a little disappointing that it is starting so early this year…I did get the chance to get out to have a couple with K yesterday and that was fun…haven’t been out for any fun in quite a while and I do need to start finding other things to do…didn’t get much done yesterday but run a couple of errands and I don’t really feel like doing much today…so far, anyway…but, I am only on the first cup of coffee so that may change as I get more in me…more later….
Devin Nunes is such a snowflake…
Well…I think we were all amused with the antics that Devin Nunes showed when he was twisting himself into knots protecting trump from any oversight when the repubs controlled the House…other than the fact that he was protecting the biggest criminal to ever infest government…and, over the past few days, we have seen even more from the biggest snowflake in the House when his fee fees were hurt by parody twitter accounts called Devin Nunes’ Mom, and Devin Nunes’ Cow whose sole purpose is to make fun of the idiot’s behavior. Now, in about of the most snow flakey behavior I have ever seen, ole Devin has sued twitter and these two accounts for 250 million dollars alleging “emotional distress” from having these accounts make fun of his stupid behavior….now, as we see every day, the repubs don’t know what’s in the constitution and really don’t care…but this one just makes me laugh since a public figure is fair game to ridicule for his behavior, or his looks, or anything else that satirists decide is funny at the time…it’s not up to Nunes to decide what other people can say about him…so, this suit is going to explode and probably kill a judge from laughter if it ever even gets to court. One unintended consequence the ole Devin didn’t plan on was that, with his help, the devincow twitter account now has more followers than he does…and that means that instead of silencing it, the idiot Devin has just made sure that more and more people will know just how ridiculous he is….poor, poor snowflake…
March 20th
Well…I think I’m about on time this morning and didn’t get up until after 6 for the final time so I guess that’s something…still feel exhausted and I’m not sure what the reason is for it…not sure if I ate enough yesterday and that may be part of it….had a short, 15 minute nap yesterday afternoon that did wonders for my energy level but that only lasted about an hour until I went back to feeling run down again…weird…I did get a bike ride in outdoors but I may have taken it off the trainer too early with the cold and rain coming back today so I think I’ll try to figure out how long it takes to put it back on to be able to ride every day either inside or out…will have to just keep track of how many rides I do so I can keep track of the mileage…not going to move the computer pickup back to the back wheel since that is a pain….not much to do today…I do have a couple of errands to run to get some 79 cents a pound chicken and some 3.99 a pound salmon but that is about it….and I need to cook today since all of the leftovers are gone…think I’ll use up the pizza ingredients and make another one of those for lunch…and I may clean a little but we’ll see….more later…
First ride outside…
Well…with the weather’s gradual change and it being warm enough melt some of the snow, I finally got out on the trail for an outdoor ride today and it was a little weird being out in the elements again….and actually moving with the bike was a little unnerving at first…it’s seems like I need to reprogram my balance since doing over 500 miles with the bike anchored to the trainer has regressed it to the point where I have to think about it….I found myself sliding back into not paying enough attention to the hazards on the trail since I didn’t have to really pay any attention at all riding indoors…with that said, one good thing that made me laugh a little was that it was much, much easier to ride with the bike moving…even on my long uphill sprint it was still easier than the lowest resistance setting on the trainer and my legs felt supercharged through the entire 12 miles…one thing I had forgotten was the effect of the wind…crosswinds almost caught me off guard a couple of times and pushed me around a lot…something that I think will get better as I get out there more…I really do like the effect of riding outdoors and being able to see some things for a change….I hope the weather cooperates and that can continue….

Well…if you’ve seen the news at all lately, you’ve seen the idiot trump’s meltdown over the weekend and everyone is trying to figure out why now? I have an idea and it appears to be connected to the latest bombshell that Deutsche bank is being investigated and is cooperating with at least two congressional committees, and various NY prosecutors who are looking into the trump attempt get Deutsche to lend him money to buy the Buffalo Bills. The undercurrent here is that trump regularly inflated and deflated his net worth to get loans and not pay taxes and that is part of what is going on…but, the big question that came up yesterday in the news was “why did Deutsche Bank continue to loans money (to the tune of over 2 billion dollars) to idiot boy after the had already defaulted on at least one loan from them along with a bond issue that Deutsche underwrote? Now, I think it’s all pretty simple why they did it…the Russian oligarchs who were using Deutsche to launder money made them a boatload of cash while doing it told them to…and trump was one of their most important conspirators here in the US and the Russians needed to keep him afloat to continue the scheme…after all, if he went bankrupt again and lost all of his properties, the new owners probably wouldn’t allow the Russians to continue to buy condos etc. which is the preferred method of laundering money into the US. So we really do know why trump is freaking out…the noose is closing and he knows it…and there is not a damn thing he can do about the state charges of bank and income tax fraud that he is staring down the barrel at…cripes, at this point, the Mueller investigation is looking more and more like it just may be irrelevant in taking down trump…it will be nice for understanding how the Russians stole the election for trump, but not necessary to ensure that trump spends the rest of his life in prison after he is gone…impeach….
March 19th
Well…up early again this morning but I’m not going to bitch about that today…maybe tomorrow, but not today….after all, it could get worse tomorrow and I need to save my bitching for those days…I do feel pretty worn out this morning and I guess that is from not getting too much sleep for months now…I did work out yesterday and it is a little comical how much noise my shoulder makes after not doing it for a few days…I think I’ll try that again this morning since I want to see if it will tolerate more weight work or if I do need to alternate days off…I did take the bike off the trainer yesterday and may have been a mistake since the weather report has changed overnight with the highs being lower than they were….so, instead of shorts, I’ll be going out today in a light thermasuit and gloves but I will be able to avoid a stocking hat and that makes the ride for me….I guess I can put the bike back on the trainer but I’ll lose any mileage I do indoors since I am not going to move the computer back to the back wheel…I’ll just have to miss the indoor mileage or skip the rainy days altogether…we’ll see…didn’t get a lot done yesterday but convert the bike and get the workout in and today will be much the same…I am going to have to figure out what to do with my mornings now that I am going to be riding in the afternoon and that may add to my boredom but who knows? More later…
546.7 miles…
Well…just finished getting the bike ready to go out on the trails tomorrow…the riding inside has gotten me a start of 546.7 miles inside to start the year and that is probably the most I’ve ever had before April…but, I’ll start piling the miles on tomorrow with the short rides being almost 11 miles…the two 20 minute rides indoors only got me about 8 miles a day and it was a lot of work…I’ve put almost an inch and a half on my thighs since the start of the year and I really do hope they go back to where they were since I don’t like the way my jeans fit anymore….and I don’t really like the way they look, either, so any change will be welcome….it is going to be kind of new to have to deal with the cold and rain again but it will be nice to actually see something other than the 4 walls here…
