Well…I have been sitting here today trying to work up some outrage so I can have some motivation to write something on politics but nothing has come so far…so, I guess I’ll just do another one to just talk and see what happens….I have been lucky so far with my weight with not riding the bike…only a few pounds gained but that has been a lot of work trying to cut the calories out from the ride….trying to keep the intake down to about 1,200 a day and have been somewhat successful…but the real problem is if I do that, I have very little energy during the day….or I’ve got a bug, not sure which yet….one crazy thing I’ve read today has me shaking my head…there are some of those Michigan Militia idiots who have gone to Flint to “protect” the people of Flint from I’m not sure what…are they going to shoot the lead out of the water? And, we have Ted Cruz’s campaign handing out water but to get it you have to go to a crisis pregnancy center…you know, the ones that lie to women who are needing help and try to shame them into keeping the fetus…real class move there, Ted….geez…okay…I’m about done with this for now…but, I may come back later if I get some inspiration….

January 25th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done but laundry….slept okay last night but no dreams to speak of so I won’t….still have the bug with the darn coughing but I don’t feel that bad so I guess I won’t bitch too much…just a little…the car wasn’t a block of ice this morning and that was a good thing since I washed it yesterday….and the new battery is doing it’s job so maybe the 110 bucks was worth it…never want to spend money…feel a little crappy today since I stayed up to watch the x-files that didn’t start until almost 10:30…not a good re-boot but I’ll give it one more chance tonight….it is nice that it is not too cold and the rest of the week looks the same…maybe in the 40’s one day later in the week…and we only have a month left of the really cold weather…..can’t wait for it to be over….not much to do today…going to just lay low around here for the day and try to feel better…more later…
Too much religion…
Well….I know it’s Iowa caucus time where the candidates are trying to woo the evangelical vote, but I mean, come on righties…this is even too much for you guys….first we have Ted Cruz coming out the other day and saying his religion is more important to him than the US is…now, this coming from someone who wants to be president? Does that mean he will put the christianists first instead of his oath to uphold and protect the constitution that builds a wall between church and state? Imagine if a Muslim candidate said that…he would be run out of town but this is just fine for a christian to say? Then you have the Donald saying the other day that christians are going to be running the country if he is elected…don’t they now? Oh, I guess he means that christians will be able to be open with their bigotry against everyone again…and he will use his power to subvert to constitution to cater to his christian followers…look, I have had way too much of these idiots believing that this is a christian country…we are not….and I take offense with having any religion jammed down my throat by having their religion codified into laws…just like the “blue laws” that kept almost every business closed on Sunday when I was a kid…and it was so bad here in West Michigan that we had the only McDonald’s in the country that was closed on Sunday…thanks Jenison….geez….
January 24th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I got my bathroom cleaned…finally…so that was cool…got out to see K for a couple so that was cool, too…slept okay last night but I am coughing like crazy this morning and I’m not sure what that is about….I know I had a bug but it is manifesting itself this morning so I may have to lay low today…l need to wash the car this morning but I want to have more coffee and watch some soccer first….talked to a couple of the kids who were in the snowpocalypse and they did get tons of snow…even got pictures of it this morning….not much to do today…going to just take it easy and see what happens…there is soccer and football to watch so that will be the plan for the day…and more of these if I can find a topic….more later…
January 23rd
Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done…I did have a nice lunch with T that made me smile the rest of the day and I got my new soap form the Bahamas, too…slept okay last night but woke up to a text from T that her dad is in the hospital and I am worried about that….nothing serious, but anytime anyone in their 80’s is in the hospital it’s not a good thing….waiting to hear an update this morning…no dreams last night and that was okay since I can’t get back to the one I want….three days of not having any back pain has been a good thing but there are twinges that I guess I’ll have to live with…and the car started this morning for the third day in a row with the new battery so I can start being a little less concerned….and I made some cash yesterday so there will be groceries for the next two weeks…not much to do today…need to clean the bathroom today but that will wait until after Man U plays at 10…might have to make more coffee…more later…
Justin Amash is just too much…
Well…if you didn’t think the tea partiers were idiots, you just have to listen to one of their “shining stars”, Justin Amash, talk about the Flint water crisis. Just today, this idiot let ideology override any humanity he may have by decrying the fact that the federal government is going to help fix the water system in Flint and he voted against it….saying since the crisis is contained within the state, the federal government CAN’T be involved since the constitution…blah, blah, blah….typical, typical tea party repub….listen Justin….the people that were hurt are also US citizens and pay federal taxes…and your interpretation of the constitution was discarded by everyone with a brain over 200 years ago….so, unless you can see past the DeVos’s asses that you kiss daily…shut the hell up…geez….
January 22nd
Well….it was an okay day yesterday and I got a few things done so that was cool…made a little cash, too, so there will be groceries this week….slept okay last night but the dream I was waiting for didn’t come back so that is a little disappointing…but, my back still doesn’t hurt today so I guess it all balances out…I still do have that bug and it’s been a couple of weeks so I don’t know what that is about…don’t feel bad just coughing so maybe it’s allergies? Man, I say that a lot….the car has started for two days now and I am starting to feel like I got it right with needing a new battery….the 110 bucks still hurts, though….not much to do today….I am going to have lunch with T today and will get my new soap from the Bahamas that she brought back for me…can’t wait to hear the stories…and I’m going to make some cash today, too, so that will set me up for a nice weekend….probably won’t get anything else done today since I don’t have to…more later…
We have a new worst person in the world…
Well…as you know, there are times when someone does something so egregiously creepy or nasty that I have to comment on it by stealing Keith Olbermann’s “worst person in the world” schtick and now is one of those times. On Wednesday, Carly Fiorina took her already creepy behavior to a new low when she hijacked a bunch of 4 and 5 years olds who were visiting a botanical garden in Iowa to use as props for an anti abortion screed…yep, little kids that just wanted to look at plants were subjected to this child abuse by another repub asshole who is so stupid they think everyone would just love to have their kids used for an anti abortion photo op….now, if I were one of those parents, I would have filed a lawsuit for the many felonies that she has committed here…photographing children without parental consent is one of them….and I would say since the children were not allowed to leave for almost an hour, that would be kidnapping as well…just typical, typical repub behavior….real presidential….geez….

Well….have been thinking of a topic for today and haven’t had much luck…I could write about the word salad that ole Palin did the other day when she was endorsing Trump…or that Palin now blames her son’s arrest for domestic violence on Obama…thanks Obama….or I could write about the stories I read today that says everyone that has ever met Ted Cruz hates him…now that is something to think about…how hard would you have to try to have everyone hate you? I know some people hate me, mostly commenters here, but not everyone….or I could write about the big donors from Jeb!’s campaign already pointing fingers at people trying to find the blame for how terrible he’s doing…I have news for them…he’s just an idiot spawn of an idiot family, that’s why no one wants him. I could write about our lousy governor and how incompetent he is unless it’s harming unions or giving tax cuts to his business cronies…and, how the e-mails that were released show that no one in his administration gives a damn about anyone that can’t give them money….but no, not going to write about any of those….just about stuff….nope, not even about stuff….just bored and I think I’ll go back and read some more…
January 21st
Well…it was a so so day yesterday but I won at pool so that was cool…I did have to buy the new battery for the car and it started this morning so I guess I needed it…way too much money for that tiny little thing, though…slept okay and had a recurring dream that I waited to long to remember so I guess I’ll have to wait for the next time to relate it here…I am calling the day back pain free since I haven’t thought about it today…feels good to be able to move again without thinking about it…this has been a long one…at least 6 weeks of bad pain and I still can’t figure out what I did to hurt it….but, I will take the lack of pain since the bug is still here and I started coughing again this morning…not much to do today…have an errand to run this aft but that is about it….and some stuff to do around here but I may let that slide until tomorrow…more later…
