Well…don’t think this place has been this clean since I moved in…have been working on cleaning all day and just took the ac unit downstairs and I am about done for the day…I have been looking for a topic for today without a lot of luck and that is disappointing…I did read about another insider’s look at the idiot’s wh and it was even worse than anyone knew…I mean playing show tunes to keep idiot boy calm and not telling him the staff sent AF1 to take the Bush’s to GHW’s funeral? I had to laugh when a jury ruled that Alex Jones has to pay damage to Sandy Hook parents for calling them “crisis actors” on his infowars website…now we wait for the damages to be awarded that will probably bankrupt this asshole and his website…good riddance. The dems are still fighting with themselves over the bills that are necessary to save this country and I can’t figure that out….but, I do applaud the progressive caucus for standing firm against the so-called moderates who are just repubs in different clothes and who only want to do the bare minimum…they sure look like they don’t understand that it is time to go big to fix this country…and to give me and all the other retirees dental insurance for medicare….not sure how long I can wait to have my dental work started…can hold out for a while but not too much longer…what else? Yeah, I think that’s enough for today….got the two rides in and then cleaning for a couple of hours has me pretty worn out…and the loctite didn’t work on the seat so I took my 12″ crescent wrench and reefed on it..I seem to remember I had to do that to the black bike, too…got through the second ride with no problem but we’ll see tomorrow….

This is no longer a representative democracy…
Well….I have been following the sausage making on the bills needed to move this country forward that are supported by almost 70% of Americans, and the only thing I can say is that this is no longer a representative democracy…when two people can prevent the country from the progress that is needed to make this a fairer society and help people to have better lives, there is something wrong…and the excuses that Sinema and Manchin are using are as incoherent as they are stupid…nit picking that this 1.5 trillion dollar bill is too much and the country can’t afford it even though it’s cost is only 150 billion a year over the 10 years it would be in effect…and both of these idiots voted for the trump tax cuts that was the biggest giveaway to the rich the country had ever seen…and cost 2 trillion dollars, but when there is anything ever to help normal people they can’t be bothered to support it…they might just as well be repubs for all of the damage they are doing to the dem party and this country….one thing they don’t get is that there is no more business as usual, for this time our side needs to go big and these two don’t want to go at all…damn, they need to be primaried with some true dems but that won’t help now…they are giving the country away to the repubs and it will be the final nail in the coffin for democracy…hope you guys are happy killing the US…what a couple of preening morons…geez…
September 30th
Well…running about on time this morning with getting up at about 6:45 but I’m having a little trouble getting going with just starting on the coffee for the morning….I don’t have much to do today so I guess I can ease into the day with no stress….had an okay day yesterday but I was just so damn worn out all day and I hope today will be better….have some cleaning to do since one of my sons is coming over tomorrow afternoon to hang out and living alone, that is not too much of a priority…and I have some outdoor work to do, too….need to remove the last of the flowers along the back of the house and do some trimming on the trees to get ready for winter….and I need to mow the lawn and do the weed walk today….so I have lots to do and hope I have the energy to do it….I may cut back to one ride today just to be careful with how I’ve been feeling but we’ll see after the first ride….my shoulder barely hurts today and, with getting two shots in it, it should hurt worse but I’ll take it….I did eat more yesterday and am going to try to keep that up for a few days…I know it makes a difference but my calorie restriction is so ingrained that I really don’t like eating like a normal person…..not much to do today…yeah, that’s not true….have to pay some bills two weeks early since the post office is so screwed up it takes a full week or longer to get to Ohio….and then on to the yard and I need to get on the windows to get them cleaned before winter…but I need to be careful since banging my thumb still hurts like crazy and I need to not get it infected….more later….

Well…yeah, if you’ve ever been here before, that’s pretty obvious but I want to make sure there is no doubt in anyone’s mind…this whole debt ceiling bullshit that McConnell and the rest of his domestic terrorists are pulling is just the latest in a long line of holding the country and world hostage to prevent the dems from governing and doing things that will help the everyday American….look, what this raise is going to do is allow the US to pay for the idiot trump’s tax cuts for the rich…it’s not for current spending since there has been very little new spending that hasn’t been paid for…so, the repubs blow up the budget with tax cuts that never pay for themselves, and then the dems have to come in and clean up the mess they leave every damn time…but this time the repubs don’t want the mess cleaned up since they think it will hurt Biden and keep him from doing anything to deal with the economic problems this country has and fix it’s crumbling infrastructure….and they especially don’t want the for the people act passed since it will take away the voter suppression tools that the repubs have been using all over the country to keep dem voters from voting. Now, this is just a few of the things they have been doing…and any sane person would hate the people doing it…doing their best to destroy this country and handing even more of it to the rich….I hate every damn one of them…geez…
The fraud “audits” continue…
Well…now that the fraud audit in Arizona is completed and found no problems other than those the repubs invented, and gave Joe almost 300 more votes..you would think that these results would deter other repub states from pulling the same BS…but if you thought that, you would be wrong. Even with the memo from trump’s lawyer laying out the plan to steal the election by loudly shouting fraud before the election, and admitting there was none, repubs all across the country are calling for “audits”…even in states that the idiot won…so we now know this was never about fraud but about a long term project to rig elections for the repubs by voter suppression and casting doubt on any election that the repubs lose….shouting fraud is just one of many tools they are using to ensure minority rule by them for a century or more….so, more than ever we need to keep the heat on our side to pass the vote protection law that would preempt the 500 or so new voter suppression laws that have been enacted on the state level by repubs carrying out their un-American cheating….and it needs to pass now…there isn’t a day to waste…geez…
Subpoenas are going out….
Well…running a little late this afternoon with getting everything done before coming here…but, when I got back from the second ride, there was a pleasant surprise in the news when I read that the House committee that is investigating the January 6th attack has sent out subpoenas to all of the idiot trump’s inner circle who were involved in the planning of the insurrection…now all we need is to have them subpoena trump and get him into a deposition where he’ll lie his ass of and perjure himself…idiot boy is already bleating that everything they are requesting is covered by “executive privilege” but that privilege ended when he was kicked out of office and Biden is the one who is going to be making the decisions on what info is going to be provided….and a lot of what has been requested and that trump is pissed about has already been provided by the national archives since they belong to the American people, not idiot boy. This committee needs to work fast and it appears they are doing just that…I’m sure there will be lawsuits from almost all of them to try to get out of telling the truth about their attempt to overthrow the government…and I really hope that the justice department follows up with charges against these treasonous bastards…geez…

Well…yeah, I’m here for a political one pretty early as I wait for the kitchen floor to dry so I can continue cleaning in there…so, here goes…with the release of an internal memo from the idiot trump’s campaign as part of the defamation suit the dominion voting systems company filed against almost all of the deplorables in and out of the idiot’s administration, we finally know with evidence that they knew that the whole “voter fraud” lies were really that, lies that were all a part of the repubs trying to overthrow the certified result of the 2020 election. The really sick part is that all of the “leaders” of the repub party knew of and discussed the memo but then, to a one, all of them trotted out and keep bleating the lie and still are to this day…and they are conveniently using this lie as the primary reason to pass new voting restrictions that will prevent may dems from voting…another attack on our democracy that is all part of the plan they have been working that includes the Jan 6 attacks and that we are now starting to see that these assholes don’t care about democracy since if we have fair elections, they will lose. This rot goes all the way to the top of the repub party and now we know why they have fought so hard to keep the truth from coming out…they were all involved in the plot. There needs to be consequences for this treason…Garland needs to bring charges against all of them once the House committee gets the evidence compiled…that will keep these assholes from trying it again…as they are still doing right now….geez…
Call Mitch what he is…
Well…with the asshole Mitch McConnell threatening to crash the whole world’s economy by making the US default on it’s debt, we need to start calling ole Mitch what he is…an economic terrorist. Just yesterday, the stock market tanked almost 800 points costing investors over a trillion dollars and the consensus is that it was Mitch’s posturing on letting the default happen that was the trigger…and the sick thing is that he doesn’t care at all…during idiot boy’s administration, Mitch voted to raise the debt ceiling 3 times…adding over 8 trillion to the national debt but as always when there is a dem president, Mitch takes the world hostage just because he can…now, if this same thing was done by some hacker somewhere or some private citizen, the FBI would be all over the case and they would spend many years in jail for economic terrorism…but Mitch gets away with all of the criminality because he’s a senator…and I’m tired of it…he has ruined the supreme court by stealing three seats and filling them with right wing ideologues and now he is ruined the full faith and credit of the US just to score political points and extend his power…and it is sick that one man is allowed to do it…geez…
Ignoring the virus isn’t working for the repubs…
Well…gee, who would think that ignoring the virus and doing nothing to fight it wouldn’t work for the repubs? In Florida, Ron DeSantis’ approval rating has plunged to the lower 40’s from the high 50’s in just a couple of months once the milestone of him killing more people than his margin of victory was passed…and, with 99% of those dying being unvaccinated and 99% of those being repubs, the damage is going to get worse….how the hell do you run on killing 50K people and doing nothing for anyone but your rich buddies? The ads write themselves for the 22 election and if Charlie Crist can’t win in this environment, he just needs to go away. Oh, and here’s a funny bit…with the trampling of women’s rights and voting rights in Texas, a new poll shows that Abbott would lose to…wait for it…Matthew McConaughey by almost 10 points if the election was held today…and Abbott’s approval ratings are flirting with the 30’s as many, many tech companies are re-evaluating their moves to Texas as women are turned into second class citizens with less rights than men….I really hope these morons lose and lose big next year…how can you live in Texas or Florida with these assholes in charge? Geez…
Career rehab continues…
Well…I guess with Woodward’s new book “Peril” coming out, it’s time for the repub career rehab to continue starting with Lindsey Graham where it states that he vehemently disagreed with the trump voter fraud bleating and found that the evidence was suitable for “third grade”…if that’s the case then why didn’t ole Lindsey say anything to the public and continued to play along with the lies to the point of calling the Georgia Secretary of State and ask him to throw out mail in votes that had “irregularities” with the signatures? And why to this day does ole Lindsey continue to support trump if he does nothing but lie? Look, this is just like ole GW giving a speech last week comparing the capital attackers to the Taliban…where the hell has he been for the past 4 years? Does he think this one speech wilI erase the memory of his failures? I know he loves sitting in his tub and painting but damn, couldn’t he muster just a little concern for the country? After all, he and his administration started the whole lying about everything that the idiot trump grabbed and ran with…so no amount of rehab is ever going to get rid of the stench of failure these traitors will carry the rest of their lives…geez…
