Well…boy, sure thought it would take me longer to be disappointed with Merrick Garland as AG but damn, defending the idiot trump against a defamation suit brought by Jean Carroll? I really thought that the justice department being the personal plaything of trump would go away after he did…but as of today, the department is still defending idiot boy in court and it is Garland’s decision to do that…he could, right now, end the justice department’s involvement by withdrawing from the case and letting the idiot pay for his defense…the justice department is no one’s personal law firm no matter who that person is…and trump is an EX president who is no longer in charge…so this defense should be dropped and let the chips fall…and why the hell Garland is still a part of it is beyond me….there are rules for the justice department and this must break a bunch of them…in my long lifetime I’ve never seen this kind of corruption and Garland was brought in as the guy to fix it….but he has chosen to continue it without any explanation for his actions…and we deserve an explanation….and fast…..geez…

Joe is finally wising up…
Well…it’s nice to see that Joe Biden is finally wising up to the modern republicans and is going to go it alone to try to get his infrastructure plan passed….just yesterday he gave up trying to “negotiate” with them and I think he is finally realizing that they don’t give a damn about making American lives better, they just want to make sure he isn’t successful…no matter who it hurts. I think Joe needs to forget all of the times in the past when he could work across the aisle…back when repubs were semi sane and at least tried to look like they cared about people other than the rich….but the crazy has taken over the party and ignorance now is a badge of honor as is lying, cheating, and stealing…oh, and hate…can’t forget the hate that oozes out of every one of those slimy bastards…so, good on ya, Joe…now try to get the other Joe to listen to you and act like a dem for a change….Manchin is almost as bad s the damn repubs…geez…
Got my absentee ballot application…
Well…forgot to talk about this one…but I got my first absentee ballot application for my first election here in Muskegon…and all I have to do is sign it and send it back and they will send me the ballot for the local election that is coming up….that is for now, the repubs here in Michigan are trying to make this easy, smooth process much harder in many different ways that include having to send a copy of your ID in with it…and who the hell has a copier anymore? I mean anyone who is retired and doesn’t need one…and that would mean going out to UPS or some other store and paying 1.50 for a copy…what about the people who don’t drive anymore? This is the kind of bullshit that the repubs are doing all across the country to still support the idiot trump’s big lie that mail in ballots are rife with fraud when there was absolutely none in Michigan with almost 7 million ballots cast….so, call your rep or senator and tell them to stop this crap of trying to make sure that people can’t vote…it’s the Russian playbook still in work….and the repubs are more than happy to support Putin over the US….geez…
Joe Manchin should just go be a republican…
Well…you know, I hate it when people who are supposed to be on our side…the side of America and democracy don’t see it that way…I’m sure you’ve seen all of the vote rigging/voter suppression laws that have been passed across this country by repubs who can only win elections when we are prevented from voting…and now Joe Manchin has come out against the for the people act that would fix all of those laws so more people can exercise their right to vote. Look, if he thinks that protecting the right to vote from partisan bullshit will only make it more partisan, then he just needs to go and join his fellow re[publicans and stop the pretense that he is a dem at all….how he came up with that convoluted logic is beyond me…like we can’t try to fix the roads since they will just wear out again? Or we can’t pass laws against murder since that will cause more people to murder? Geez…how do such stupid people get to run this government? Just go, Joe….you are just worthless to this country if you won’t protect the sacred right to vote…just frickin go…

Well…surprise, surprise…the trump appointee Louis DeJoy who has spent the past couple of years wrecking the Post Office, is under investigation, again, for campaign finance violations…and this time, there is a grand jury empaneled to look into it along with an FBI investigation. So, why hasn’t he been fired already? You know he won’t resign because these idiots have no conscience and truly believe the law doesn’t apply to them, but he needs to go. The alleged scheme is the same one he pulled at his firm back in 2014 that he was never prosecuted for for some reason…where he got employees to donate to repub campaigns and then a miracle happened…these same employees got bonuses for the exact same amount of money they “donated”…this kind of “straw donation” is really illegal and many on the right have gone to jail for it, trying to get around campaign finance donation limits….and now this new investigation must be for new violations since the 2014 crimes are past the statute of limitations for campaign finance violations….again, why hasn’t he been fired already? DeJoy has to go if it’s only for the damage he has done to the Postal Service…but for this, it would be the icing on the cake…geez….

Well…..I guess the media “empire” that the idiot trump was going to build is not working out so well…as of today, his blog/website that was going to be the replacement for being banned from Twitter and Facebook has been shut down and idiot boy himself has whined to his moron followers that too many people were “making fun” of the website and no one was reading what he had to say…ha,ha,ha….what the hell did he expect? That everyone would flock to his inane meanderings and racist bullshit because they used to? Hey, donnie…your time in the spotlight is over…for now anyway…get used to it…every time you open your mouth you confirm to just another sliver of your cult that you are just not worth it anymore…after all, almost 500 of your most ardent followers are going to end up in jail after listenting to you and attacking the capital…how did you expect them to react when you sit on your ass in your tacky golf club while the ones you egged on are sitting in the cooler? Mike Flynn should be in jail…
Well…you know, when you have a former general of the US openly calling for a coup against the government and and praising the generals in Myanmar for taking over the country and murdering thousands of people by musing “I wonder why what happened in Myanmar can’t happen here?”, he should be in jail especially given the fact that he was already convicted of multiple felonies and the only reason he’s not in jail are the pardons he got from the idiot trump. No wonder he was fired from his position in the NSA if this is the crap he was pushing even back then….but, even now, he can be recalled to active duty and court martialed for treason against the US, if the JAG that tweeted the other day is correct….that even once you are out of the Army, you can be called back to active duty even years after your tour is over…as happened to thousands of soldiers during the “stop loss” machinations that the gw bush administrations used to keep sending soldiers to Afghanistan and Iraq on multiple tours. This is the problem with the US these days….no one is held accountable for anything illegal they do….as Flynn keeps making speeches advocating the overthrow of the US government, no one does anything about his lawbreaking…just as no one does anything about the noise around here or the people who drive around here with no license plates…they just get to break any law they want since no one in law enforcement does anything about it….and that has to stop….
Ted Cruz is the biggest hypocrite…
Well…I knew there was a competition between the repubs to see who could be the biggest hypocrite, and guess what? Ted Cruz wins…just yesterday, ole Ted was on fox talking about a law he is going to introduce that would ban vaccine passports…and he justified it by saying: “Your healthcare decisions are yours to make…it shouldn’t be your boss, the government, or anyone else forcing you to make those decisions”….ted, ted, ted you hypocrite….does this only apply to white men? What about the women you have done your best to make sure they can’t make their healthcare decisions when it comes to reproductive healthcare? Isn’t what happens inside a woman her choice to make? Just like the rest of the repubs, ted is a hypocritical asshole who spends his time trying to score cheap political points instead of working for the American people…so just shut the hell up, ted…geez…
Sinema couldn’t be bothered…
Well…darn, I almost forgot to do this one today with cleaning all day…and I’m still not done but only have the bathroom to do so I’ll get that done in the morning…just today ole moscow mitch used the filibuster to keep the senate from passing the law that would set up the January 6 commission to investigate what happened when the right wingers attacked the capital…but the repubs sure don’t want that since all of them were involved if you look at the votes they took to dispute the election results…but the thing that burns me is that the supposed democratic senator from Arizona, Kristin Sinema couldn’t even be bothered to show up for the vote….and that made sure the filibuster couldn’t be broken….what the hell is her job? What is more important than saving our country? Now is the time to just end the filibuster and get the rest of Biden’s agenda passed…and that includes the law to nullify all of the voter suppression that the repubs have passed across the country…and tell Sinema to be the dem she is supposed to be and do her job….

Well…with every damn one of the repub senators set to vote against a commission to investigate the January 6 attack on our country, it is not hyperbole to say we are witnessing a continuation of that attack and that makes this vote treason for every repub senator that votes against the investigation. This from a party who spent two years and 8 separate investigations on Benghazi! and found nothing…while there have already been over 400 people charged in relation to the attack and I’m sure the reason they don’t want an investigation is that a large number of these same repubs were involved with the sedition….I want to know who Kevin McCarthy talked to that day and what he had to say to them…we know he talked to trump and we know that trump was happy watching the attack and now ole kevvie heads down to trumps tacky resort to kiss his ass almost daily? Look, what Nancy Pelosi needs to do is just appoint a special prosecutor to get to the bottom of it…just like Watergate or any other attack on this country and let the repubs stew about it…they are all dishonest assholes anyway and will only obstruct the investigation…so cut the repubs loose and tell them to go to hell….geez…
