Well…I’m kind of happy to see Kirstjen Nielsen get fired from her post as head of DHS but, with trump, you just know that whomever he finds to replace her is going to be much worse. I guess locking kids in cages, lying every damn day about it, and letting over 3,000 Puerto Ricans (Americans) die just for trump’s racist hatred just wasn’t enough to keep her job. The damage that the family separation policy (yeah, she lied to congress about that, too) has done to both parents and children is not something that can ever be fixed and should be hung around Nielsen’s neck every damn day she is out in public, and every damn time she is out on the wingnut welfare circuit cashing in on being the monster she is….to see these children and see the reporting on the damage that ripping them away from their parents does to them is just heartbreaking and every damn American should be incensed that this racist bullshit is being done in our names…or in the name of Stephen Miller, the racist in chief who is the one behind the policies of hatred that has now infested this country. The only hope we have to stop this damage is in the next election since the rest of the repubs are just fine with all this bullshit…and we need to get a pledge from every damn dem running that this crap will be reversed first thing as soon as we take back the WH….impeach this son of a bitch now….

A bad day for trump…
Well…not sure if it was coordinated or not, but there was loads of bad news coming out of the House yesterday for the idiot trump and his minions. The house Ways and Means committee who deals with all tax issues, formally requested 6 years of idiot boy’s personal tax returns along with the returns of about a half dozen of his holding companies….the key here is the request went to the IRS under a law that was specifically written in the 1920’s to get the tax returns of Woodrow Wilson and others in his administration as the House was investigating corruption…sound familiar? The key thing here is that they don’t have to get trump’s permission to get them and the IRS is required to hand over any requested return to the chair of the committee….and trump is so ignorant of how this works that he spouted off yesterday with his tired old talking point that his returns are still under audit so he can’t release them…donnie, donnie, get it through your thick head, you don’t have anything to do with this process…you can’t stop it you moron. The second bit of bad news that trump got was that the Jerry Nadler, the chair of the House Judiciary Committee got a subpoena approved to send to Bill Barr for the entire, unredacted Mueller report and all of the underlying information…not the justice obstructing 4 page propaganda letter that Barr released…and Nadler is ready to go to court to get the report, but he is being nice about it and giving Barr the opportunity to do what’s right instead of obstructing justice…remember, Bill…John Mitchell went to prison for 19 months for doing just what you’re doing when he tried to protect Nixon…oh, and one last thing…investigators and prosecutors who worked on the Mueller report are calling bullshit on Barr and his summary’s conclusion that trump didn’t obstruct justice…saying that it is a total misrepresentation of what is actually in the report….so, trump had a very no good, terrible day yesterday…and that is going to continue until he’s gone and in prison….can’t wait for today’s meltdown….impeach…
Oranges and wind turbine cancer…
Well…cripes…as every day goes by, the idiot trump sinks deeper into dementia and abject craziness….just yesterday during a press conference with the head of the UN, idiot boy just had to go on and on about the Mueller report and it’s “origins”…the only problem is that trump didn’t say origins but oranges…and continued to say it until his addled brain moved on to something else as the world watched…with any other *president, that would have been enough to get him hustled off to Bethesa for mental tests to see just how addled his brain is…but that was not the worst of his day….during a fundraiser in front of other repubs, he went off on wind power again… but not his normal schtick that you won’t be able to watch your tv when the wind isn’t blowing, no, he came up with an entirely new reason why wind power isn’t good for the country…I guess now the sound from wind turbines causes cancer…yep, you heard that right..he really believes that sound causes cancer and that, if you can see a turbine from your house, your home value will plunge 75%….god, this guy is in control of our nukes? He finished up the day by repeatedly asserting that his father was born in Germany…something he has done for weeks now but guess what? He’s lying about that, too…his father was born here in the US and really shows his mental decline since the Russians installed him. What is it going to take, repubs? Is getting your radical right wing judges worth putting the entire world in danger? Okay…stupid question…it is to you….impeach….
Snyder is going to get what he deserves…
Well…there was a little bit of good news from here in Michigan over the weekend that I almost forgot to write about…but, I remembered so here goes….you remember a few years back, the repubs in charge of the state were doing what repubs do, trying to make a profit off the water supply of Flint by switching it from Detroit where good, clean water was supplied for decades to the Flint river that was still polluted from years of industrial dumping from GM and other companies. With the finances of the city in dire straights due to population loss and cuts to state aid that is rampant under the repubs as they give tax breaks to corporations and the rich, Snyder appointed an emergency manager to take over the city…displacing the elected officials from the mayor on down whose only reason for being there was to cut costs with no regard for the safety of the residents. When the switch to the Flint River was done, the corrosive nature of the water started to leach lead from the old pipes and expose 100,000 people to huge amounts of lead…the big thing here is that Snyder and his cronies knew about the lead problem for a year and did nothing about it as men, women, and children were being poisoned. So, this weekend, Snyder was added back to the class action suit filed on behalf of the poisoned city and is now exposed to paying damages for his incompetence/inaction or the repub disease of just not caring about anyone who is not rich or a donor to their party…I, for one, hope he ends up losing everything and the people of Flint can at least use those millions to try to help fix the damage that was done…typical repub….
Subpoenas are coming…
Well…with Bill Barr still trying to obstruct justice by withholding the entire Mueller report from the House committees, the chair of the Judiciary committee, Jerry Nadler, has had enough and is readying subpoenas for the report and all supporting information to be issued by the end of the week. In a normal administration…or any administration before the criminal trump and his cronies infested the government, it was normal for the special counsel to supply the report and the underlying data as soon as the report was issued…every SC in the modern era has done this and there is no reason why Barr should not follow precedent…other than he can’t protect trump if he does…and let’s remember why there was a SC in the first place…to ensure an independent investigation that would be free of interference by the trump political appointees who run the justice department. So now, the real fight starts…and if Barr ignores the subpoenas, Nadler can send officers of the House to round up those who are ignoring the subpoenas and they can be held in contempt of congress until they comply….this could be an interesting week…
Polls…
Well…no matter how many times the bleater in chief stands in front of his minions and declares “no collusion, no collusion”, the US people just aren’t buying it…even with Bill Barr trying his damnest to try to spin the results of the Mueller probe, more than 80% of the US don’t believe him and want to see the entire Mueller report, not some “summary” or redacted version, but the entire report including the underlying evidence. Barr has been trying to create a role for the AG out of thin air when every other SC report has been released in it’s entirety…and there is no role in the SC statute for the AG to summarize, edit, or otherwise limit the information that the Intelligence committee can see so it will be interesting on Tuesday when the IC has a deadline for Barr to produce the report or they will start issuing subpoenas compelling Barr to give the entire, unredacted report to congress. Oh, back to the polls…I’ll bet the latest polls are driving the idiot in chief crazy when they say that his approval rating is back under 40%…and here’s the kicker…fully 64% of the US believes that trump committed crimes before he was installed by the Russians…and well over 50% think he’s committed crimes since he was installed. So, no…no “total exoneration” no matter how many times he shouts that to his troglodyte crowds…one other poll that I can’t find but I think it was really bad news for idiot boy here in Michigan…his approval here is only in the mid 30’s and almost 60% say they won’t vote for him if he’s not in jail before 2020…poor baby..impeach…
Q anon folks are just frickin nuts….
Well….have been thinking about doing one on this alt right fringe nonsense but was never triggered until they crawled out from under their rocks and brought this bullshit to GR…I am appalled that so many of my neighbors are so stupid they believe in the addled conspiracy theories pushed under the umbrella of Q anon….and we saw those supporters at the trump minstrel show that was inflicted upon us here in GR this past week. Now, come on, really? Do these people really believe that there is a huge conspiracy centered on the Getty museum in LA where someone, someone, Soros, is holding children in the basement there to be raped and then eaten…and they want the Marines to attack the museum and free the children. Or, how about the original conspiracy theory where Hillary Clinton was running a pedophile ring out of the basement of a pizza parlor in DC that was pushed by Hannity and other denizens of the right wing echo chamber…never mind that the parlor in question doesn’t have a basement and the only connection to Hillary is that the owner voted for her. Or, the granddaddy of them all is that trump and Mueller are working together to issue secret indictments of all of the dems in the country and that soon…really soon, they will be rounded up and executed since dems have to be traitors if they don’t worship trump. Now, in my lifetime I have seen plenty of stupidity, but until lately no one was proud of being an idiot but these folks are…they wear their ignorance as a badge of honor as they they wave their “Q” signs and continue to chant “lock her up”…what a bunch of morons…impeach…
Adam Schiff is my new hero…
Well…you just have to watch the destruction that Adam Schiff leveled on the idiot trump supporters on the House Intelligence Committee yesterday when the 9 repubs pushed the moronic idea that Schiff should resign since he had the gall to say what everyone knows…that trump and his campaign got help from the Russians during the 2016 election no matter what the trump shill Barr said in his “summary” of the Mueller report. I was almost laughing when I watched Devin Nunes sitting there thinking he had engineered a coup against Schiff, and then Schiff just eviscerated him and the rest of the repub traitors who serve on the committee with a very simple recitation of all of the times it is factually known that the trump campaign met with and tried to help the Russians during the campaign…and how the Russians helped elect trump…and he used a simple rhetorical flourish with the words “you might think” at the start of each recitation…which made it even more powerful…you really do need to go out to twitter or youtube and watch it…and watch the faces of Nunes and the rest of the repubs when they realize they have really screwed the pooch and made a huge mistake taking on a former prosecutor who is prepared for their attack…it is just beautiful to watch….
Fumigate the VanAndel….
Well…with the idiot trump in town for some reason, the thought came into my head on the bike that they are going to have to fumigate the VanAndel arena where his “rally” is being held before I’ll be able to set foot in there again….I even got a text from his re-election campaign telling me how I could get tickets…now, anyone who knows me at all knows that the last place on earth I would ever be would be listening to the most stupid, racist asshole on the planet spout off and get his moron followers worked up into a frenzy…you know, living here in West Michigan all of my life, I thought the people here were pretty okay…but I was wrong…we are infested with hateful, racist assholes as evidenced by the DeVos and Van Andel families who, while they have done some good work, are trump’s biggest enablers here in Michigan, and that alone has tarred them with nothing but contempt from people here who have more than two brain cells. So, I won’t be watching any local news today since the local stations are all controlled by repubs and will fawn all over the asshole in chief…and I don’t need to see that…impeach….
Back to politics…
Well…are the repubs just stupid or what? After the 2018 election where they just got trounced and where the dems won the healthcare voters by a whopping 52%, the repubs just can’t help themselves and are attacking the ACA through the courts again and are gleefully court shopping in hopes of taking healthcare away from 100 million Americans. If you look at the polls, the issue of healthcare is the most important one to almost 50% of the country and these people said they will vote against anyone who is trying to take away the ACA and that is the repubs only…no bullshit “bothsiderism” here, it is the nutty right wing assholes who don’t care about anyone but the rich who are doing it…and I wonder why the idiot trump is still playing to only his base by doing this…after all, his base is only about 40% of the country if that much and that is not enough to get re-elected….so, in the era of the end of the Mueller report, there are still things we need to keep our eyes open for…the repubs are going to try to do as much damage as they can before we vote them out in 2020 and it is up to us to minimize that as best we can until we become the clean up crew…again…impeach…
