Well….running really late today and I just have been a little zoned out this morning….just finished the paper and I am on my 3rd cup of coffee so I am starting to get moving a little…going to have to wait until noon to get out on the bike since I still want to go out in shorts for at least another week…slept okay last night and didn’t get up until after 7 and that is really late for me…feel okay today and my back is not hurting at all…it has been cracking like crazy for the past day or so and that is a good sign….still feel like I may have a little bug…feel a little warm and my lungs are kind of itchy but I don’t feel that bad…didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today looks the same…the Lions play later and there are two races on at the same time so I’ll have something to do…more later….

Well…trying to get things moving this morning before the Man U match but it looks like I won’t be successful….I did get some pork chops in the oven to cook low and slow today and it is already starting to smell good in here…slept okay last night but didn’t dream at all but I won’t bitch too much about that…after all, my back is back to cracking and not hurting and that makes everything better….it is going to be a good sports day today starting now and going through Michigan at noon and then a race later from Martinsville….and it is cold and raining so I may stay off the bike today….need to get the ride in by 11 or I won’t go….not much to do today…I do need to do another one today with the news that the first indictments of trump and his cronies have been issued and the arrests are going to start next week…I can’t wait….

Well….sitting here waiting for 7 to come and thought I’d come back here and do another one of these just for the heck of it….there was more politics to do but I’m not in that mood right now…and I just noticed that I’m over for the month so I really don’t have to do any more but…here I am again…I did get a bike ride in and it didn’t start to rain until the last two miles so that was cool but, it started out warm and colder as the ride went on…didn’t take my gloves so my hands were pretty stiff by the time I got back…won’t do that again…I did get a few things done around here today so I think I earned a few cocktails tonight….and the new season of “Stranger Things” dropped today so I think I’ll start that tonight….once fall came, there are too many shows to watch and I am getting behind so I do need to try to catch up on some of them tonight….okay…that’s enough for today….

Well…running early today with getting up early and I guess that’s okay…slept okay with taking some antihistamine  so I could breathe so I feel okay today….still think I have a bug since I feel warm sitting here and my lungs are still itchy and coughing…so, I think I’ll take it easy today and just do a bike ride and then lay low for the day…did get a few things done yesterday but I won’t get much done today….and don’t really need to…okay, I’m already feeling tired just sitting here so I am going to take a break and come back later for more…I need coffee….more later…

Well…have been feeling off for the past day or so and have been going downhill all day today….have started to cough and I am sitting here sweating with absolutely no energy…so I guess I’ve got a bug….crap…hope it doesn’t get much worse but it probably will…glad I don’t have anything to do tomorrow…and it’s supposed to rain so I can even stay off the bike…I did get some stuff done today…got the pins greased on the car and sprayed the rusted parts in the front end with rust preventer..and I got a bike ride in but it was torture…that’s when I felt the lungs were not right….the one good thing was that my back didn’t hurt much today and it is still okay….I guess that will have to be the thing that keeps the day from being really crappy….

Well…sitting here waiting for C&J to post so I thought I’d do a little car update…a little more detail of the battery swap. It was frickin miserable to change it out in the rain and then having to treat the surface rust under it…and the weird thing is there was never a tray under the battery…it was just sitting on the metal of the trunk floor…but, when I was treating the rust, a plastic tray fell out from being wedged between a brace and the inside of the fender….and it was the battery tray that I never even saw in the 5 years I’ve owned the car…at first, I had no clue what it was but then it dawned on me so I cleaned it up and put it under the battery…pretty cool but I wonder why the previous owner would have taken it out? Oh, well….at least it’s there now and I feel better about stopping the damage the last battery had done….

Well…running normally for a Thursday and it was good to get out and get some groceries…no good deals but when you’t down to nothing in the fridge, you have to buy something…slept really crappy last night but I don’t feel it today…I actually feel okay and that is just weird….and my back doesn’t hurt right now so I’ll take that….but, the car was covered in ice this morning and I had to run it to melt since I have no clue where my scraper is….the new battery spun the car over like crazy this morning and I am happy to have that fixed…but, I do need to grease the pins on the front brakes today but that is an easy job….and then the car should be ready for winter….other than putting the snow tires back on…but that won’t happen until Dec 1st or so…..not much to do today…I should clean and probably will do a little…more later…

Well…with two days of steady rain, I expected there would be some flooding on the trail when I went out on the bike…but, I didn’t expect what I saw…in the second retention pond next to M-6, the water level was almost up to the trail when it is normally 15 feet or so below it…and over at the park at 60th and Hanna Lake, the water was all the way out to 60th street…so high that there was no way I was even going to attempt to ford it to get into the park….I will be interested to see what it looks like tomorrow…

Well…running on time today and I shouldn’t be….feeling a little under the weather….slept okay last night but still no dreams to speak of…it was a pretty strange day yesterday but I got a few things done so that was cool….haven’t been on the bike in two days with the rain and it is going to be cold enough today that I’ll have to dig out the gloves when I ride….I am not ready for that but I should be with it getting to the end of October…..I do need to grease the pins on the car tomorrow and it should be warm enough to do that….not much to do today….just have no motivation right now but I hope to have some later…..need to clean and I have been thinking about going out to get a new coffee maker…or I can just buy more filters for the old one….more later…

Well…have been surveying the political landscape this morning and haven’t found anything that I really want to talk about so I guess I’ll just rummage around in my head and see what’s there…yeah, I know, kinda scary but I’m going in…it has been quite a busy morning with having to go up to the office to sign a new lease for one more year here…and that thing is 20 pages or so….not sure why but it is…and then the car barely started again today so I went over to the parts store and got my free replacement battery…but that turned into a major project since I had some rust under the battery that I needed to treat with the rust preventer…and then had to take the brackets out and do the same…and taking the battery out of the car causes the radio to lose all of my settings so I had to spend 20 minutes resetting all of the audio settings and the clock….and all of this in the frickin rain so I am still cold and wet….and I had to wash all of the clothes I was wearing since, if there is rust under the battery, there must have been a leak in the battery or the vent tubes that vent to the outside and I probably got acid on my clothes…luckily, the battery came with a new set of tubes so I installed them….and now I’m done….so, it’s veg time until Man U plays this aft….
