Well…I am just so angry at the media for allowing the idiots that pushed the Iraq war for no reason to chime in on the current strife or civil war that is going on there. Let’s just remember that all of these loud mouths, like Graham, McCain, Feith, Cheney and the rest of the couldn’t get it right squad were just dead wrong on everything about Iraq, and yet we have the media treating them like very serious people and allowing them to bang the drums for war again. Remember one more thing, they are wrong now, again….this new war is certainly a result of the constant litany of mistakes ole GW and his cronies made…especially thinking that the sectarian violence that had been suppressed for a hundred years by military force could be disarmed with platitudes and money….and now these same folks want to destroy what is left of our military by sending them back to Iraq for more of the same nonsense….what a bunch of idiots….geez…

June 16th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday but, as you can see, I was way too lazy and didn’t come back for another one…going to try to fix that today…slept pretty crappy again but that is pretty normal and I am getting used to being tired….the soccer has been fun, too, and today the US starts at 6 so that will be a nail biter…they need to win or tie today or they won’t get to the knockout stage…and Germany and Portugal play at noon so I need to get a bunch of stuff done before then….not much to do today….need to work out and get the ride in and then some stuff done here and then get ready for the games…more later…one last thing…T is finally gone from my life after 17 years…and I am still struggling some with that…how do you just stop talking to someone you’ve known for so long? Will probably have to write about that a little over the next week or so until I can really accept it….more later…
June 15th
Well…it was just a boring, boring day yesterday but I guess there was the 24hours…and soccer…okay, so it wasn’t that boring…slept kind of okay but I have been up since 5 or so and that makes only about 4 1/2 hours last night…oh, well….but, it looks like it is really nice outside this morning so the bike ride will be a good one…I think there is little wind, too, so that will make it quite pleasant….and, I am up to almost 750 miles for the year so far and I am quickly coming up on 20K miles on this bike and that should make me feel good but I’m not sure it does…hmmmm….not much to do today…going to just laze around here today and eat leftovers and watch more soccer…oh, and there is a race on, too, so maybe today won’t be too boring….more later…

Well…haven’t found anything to write about today so I’m going to start cheating early this month…have been without any energy today so it has been one of those days where you just hang out and be…not accomplish and that is okay for today…I am waiting for the England/Italy match to start in a few minutes and I hope I’m not already bored of soccer….maybe when the US starts to play Monday it will be better….I do have to start getting out in the sun to even out the biker tan that is forming up….and it looks quite strange….okay….just don’t want to do this right now so I’m going to go back to the couch and have some more water before the game…
June 14th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I won at pool so that was cool….and I had the chance to go out and have one with K and that was fun….and I am getting into the world cup so that gives me something to do…slept crappy, crappy, crappy last night but that is the new normal so I guess I should accept it….I am worn out again today so it is going to be a low key thing all day with races and soccer all day…might even clean a little if I get some energy back but I’m not holding my breath on that one….I will have to come back here for two more today to get caught up so I may even have to make the brain work today…not sure if that is possible…now it’s time for more coffee and the 24 hours of LeMans….more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but didn’t get much accomplished…still sleeping crappy and feeling it all day but I did eat enough for once so that is a plus…but, it was a cocktail night so that is adding to the malaise I feel this morning…and my back is still hurting and now it spikes every time I take a step…think I’ll have to take something for it before I get on the bike…with the wind blowing as it is, the bike ride is going to be a pain but I need to do it…can’t take two days off in one week…not much to do today…pool, of course, and world cup but that is about it…more later…
Spending our tax dollars for ideology…
Well…with the repubs in control here in Michigan, you can continue to expect that they will put their ideology ahead of jobs or roads or anything else the state needs…and the latest is the three new anti abortion laws that were just introduced that would make abortion illegal if you can hear a fetal heartbeat….just another attempt to take control of women’s bodies away from them…and one that is clearly unconstitutional when you read Roe v. Wade and the recent court decisions that have struck down these exact bills in other states…but, that won’t stop the repubs here from passing these bills and then paying for prolonged court fights with yours and my tax dollars. What the hell is wrong with these people? Are they just too stupid to read that the courts will never allow these bills to take effect? Or, are they just blinded by ideology and can’t help themselves? The one thing I can’t understand is why any woman would vote for these pricks…geez…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I was not good last night so I feel a little less than perfect this morning…but, that’s okay…I made a little cash so there will be groceries again and supplies that I need but have been putting off getting….slept okay but not back to the good nights I had a few weeks back and that is frustrating….thought about how many rpms I did trying to sleep…that made me laugh a little…the world cup is starting today so that will be something to keep the boredom at bay for a couple of weeks…not much to do today…I have some errands to run and some stuff to do around here but once the matches start, that will be it….more later…

Well…I was a little groggy last night when I heard this wonderful bit of news and it really didn’t sink in until this morning…one of the “brains’ of the repub party got his butt kicked in a primary yesterday and will be out of the house in a few months…I am laughing, and laughing since this smug little shit was the face behind the whold idea of cutting SS and Medicare to pay for the deficits that the repubs ran on purpose to destroy the hated social programs that benefit anyone but the rich. Now, he is gone…supposedly not conservative enough for his party anymore…a party who thinks that anyone who doesn’t hate gays enough, who doesn’t hate women enough, who doesn’t hate voters enough has to go…but, the one concerning thing about this goodness is that the one replacing him is just batshit insane…who thinks that SS and medicare payouts should be cut by 75% and that the only economy that has ever worked is one that uses christian principles instead of economics….and who can’t even put together a simple answer to whether he supports the minimum wage…this might not be good…geez…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done again…slept okay but had dreams about poppies and traveling all night that kind of tired me out…and getting up at 5 doesn’t help…it’s going to be another one of those low energy days that I am just going to survive…I have run out of groceries so I do need to make that run today and, with the rain, it looks like I’m going to take the day off the bike to try to rest the back for a day and get rid of the pain…I did go out to have a couple with G last night but I think that is going to end…it is just too much work and not a lot of fun anymore…more later…
