Well….up and running early today and I am bored already today…yep, 7:30 and I’m bored….it was a good day yesterday and I won at pool so that was cool…and I guessed right that it was going to storm on the way home so I stopped and put the top up just as the rain started and it just poured all the way from Ada to Cascade…..the car is clean again from it, too…..didn’t get anything else done and I’m not sure how much I’ll do today…some laundry probably but I don’t have to cook since I have leftovers from the past couple of days….I do need to get the bike ride in this morning but that will have to wait until after F1 qualifying at 8…more later….

More collusion or more stupidity?
Well…just read an article on the visas that the idiot trump has been issuing to the Russians….over 150 of them in the past couple of months and the American intel services know they are spies but the trump state department just doesn’t care. Now, the question needs to be asked: is this more evidence of continuing collusion from the idiot or is it more stupidity on his part? None of these spies have been vetted at all…Russia asks and trump delivers…and many of these folks that were given visas were the same ones who were tossed out of the country last year by Obama for spying and trying to meddle in the election…so, I guess the Obama derangement syndrome trumps the safety of the country and the integrity of our elections now….where are you now repubs? What does trump have to do? Give Putin the White House before you act? Get off your asses and remove these traitors….impeach…
July 7th
Well…running a little late today…have been talking to T this morning…her power is out and it won’t be back on until Saturday night…I just can’t believe that…and, after her car broke down yesterday, it adds a lot of stress…I had a nice day yesterday but didn’t get much done but kill bugs…I have a new spider alert going on with them everywhere and now there are crickets…I think I need to spray again….I did get a nice bike ride in but my back was bad the whole time…the weird thing is that it doesn’t hurt at all this morning and I don’t remember it cracking…so, we’ll see how the day goes….not much to do today…going to have more coffee and watch the F1 practice and then get out for a ride…then pool later….more later….
A spandex explosion
Well…I get to do this one every year around this time of the summer…I wonder what the connection could be? Yep…it’s Tour de France time again and that brings the spandex out of the closet and puts it on the trail…and this year is just not pretty. I wonder what any middle aged guy was thinking when he stuffed his ample gut into the most glaringly colored jersey he could find….and then takes it out to the trail huffing like a steam train trying to go over 10 mph…now, I’m an advocate of exercise in any form, but I’ve said this before, many, many times…the only people that look good in spandex are thin teenage girls…..and not many of them….
July 6th
Well….running a little late today…as you know, Thursday is grocery day and, with my back giving me fits of pain when I walk, it took a little longer than normal…I did get the top down over and back so that was cool…and the parking brake didn’t stick at all….maybe all the lube I put on it is working? Didn’t get a lot done yesterday with my legs being so flat for the past few days….tried to eat more yesterday to make up for it but didn’t have a lot of luck….I hope today will be better with cleaning up the leftovers….need to run out after the bike ride to get some chicken legs that are on sale for 69 cents a pound….I do need to vacuum today and do some laundry but that will be about it….more later….
Trump v. Putin
Well…have been slacking off here for the start of this month and I know that has to stop…so, I’ll go back to the easiest target in politics…the idiot trump. Just read an article on the idiot’s prep for the meeting with Putin on Friday….his handlers have had to dumb his briefings down to 140 character soundbites…easily remembered talking points is all the idiot has the capacity for and this is what we have going up against Putin. He’s the guy that ran the KGB and is as ruthless and brutal as anyone in the world…and so much smarter than trump I will be surprised if the idiot doesn’t give the country to him by the time the meeting is done. How much longer are you going to let this degradation of our country’s power go on repubs? It was bad enough when the idiot walked down from AF 1 the other day and just started wandering around the runway…not even recognizing that his limo was parked at the bottom of the stairs with the door open waiting for him….this is what you’ve done to the country, repubs…fix this…impeach….
July 5th
Well…another day, another day running late….and I broke a pair of glasses overnight….so I am not in a good mood this morning…and I didn’t sleep well last night so this will be a grumpy morning….didn’t get anything done yesterday and that may be part of the grumpiness….and I am having trouble eating enough which made my legs so flat yesterday the ride was torture….will probably be the same today…..and my back is back to hurting again and the trick with my weight machine didn’t work like it did Monday so I am at a loss to know why…..oh, well….not much to do today….I am going to try to clean a little but that is about it….more later….
Inline duck butts….
Well….sometimes when out on the bike, weird things happen…and, if you’ve been here before, you know that the weird stuff amuses me…sometimes a little too much. You also know that I look for trends in the things I observe….that happened over the past three days at the retention pond along M-6 that is at the start of my ride…a couple of days back, I looked over to the pond and saw three duck butts stuck up in the air in a perfectly straight line as they were feeding….then yesterday, the same thing happened to be repeated today. Now, if you’ve spent any time watching ducks, you know that many times you’ll see them in threes for some reason, but to see three butts in the air in a line is something I’ve never seen before and I’m pretty damn old…..
July 4th
Well….running late today since I didn’t get up until 7:30…not sure why that happened but it does set me back for the day…and it was a tie at pool yesterday….had a nice drive out and back but got a little burned even with 30 sunscreen on….might have to buy some different stuff….my back was okay most of the day yesterday but it does hurt today….I think I’ll try putting it back in place with the weight machine again today….didn’t get anything done yesterday but I am going to try to do more today….need to clean up around here today but need to do the workout and get a ride in first….more later….
July 3rd
Well…just can’t get going today and I know why but won’t share it….okay…wasn’t good last night and that’s the reason…I did watch the really strange episode of Twin Peaks last night and it was probably the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen…some Fellini, some Kubrick but totally strange….didn’t get anything done yesterday but clean up after the drain problems…and I’m not sure if I’ll get much done today either…I am going to wash the car here in a few minutes so I can wax it later…and I need to go get some drain cleaner since my shower drain is plugged now…what a pain….more later….
