Well…yeah, I’m a little late today with getting a second ride in just a few minutes ago, but I did want to talk a little about the moron in chief and his bleating that his campaign was “spied” on during the 2016 election…hey, idiot boy…it wasn’t spying, it was a criminal investigation of the criminals that you surrounded yourself with…and no amount of lying by you or by your toady Barr is going to change that. One other thing, facts are facts and it is a fact that damn near everyone on your campaign met with the Russians to try to get their help to elect you…and yes, there was collusion and the only way you got away with it was that your criminal minions destroyed enough evidence that Mueller couldn’t meet the DOJ rules for indicting your ass….so, media, stop parroting this frickin idiot’s “spying” bullshit and tell the truth…and no, both sides don’t do it…only this criminal colluded with the Russians, only this idiot obstructed justice at least 10 times during the Mueller investigation…oh, and by the way…it was revealed just yesterday that trump and his buddies in the congress…I’m talking to you, Devin Nunes…obstructed justice during the Mike Flynn debacle, too…can there be any reason left to not impeach this asshole? May 17th
Well…okay…that was weird…slept all the way through the night last night from 11 to 6 this morning and I can’t remember the last time that happened…but, I feel pretty crappy this morning and I know why that is and it’s my fault…the coffee better start working soon or my whole day is going to be be off kilter…I think it already is since I can’t think of anything to write…it is a fresh coffee day with my largest coffee cup fueling me and that still is not enough…okay, I’ll stop whining now….forgot to turn the heat back on last night and it was a little cold in here this morning but that may have been part of why I slept okay last night but, who knows? I did get the car cleaned yesterday and I got a 30 miler in on the bike so today will be a short one…trying out the new plan of alternating long and short days and it appears to be working since my legs feel okay today…and the second ride was good yesterday…didn’t feel like my legs were made of concrete…they do hurt some today but that is pretty normal…not much to do today…I do need to run the instant pot with some chicken leg quarters but I’m not motivated at all right now so maybe not…more later….
Too depressed to write about politics…
Well…that title may be a little misleading…I AM depressed about politics and how the repubs are killing this country, but I’m not depressed about anything else…I just don’t want to write about it today…well…maybe later but not right now…had a pretty pleasant surprise the other day when I stumbled on the Led Zeppelin concert film ‘The song Remains the Same” on AXS tv while I was just a little bored and running through the channels…damn good to see them from the same year that I saw them live in Chicago in January of 75…and it was pretty funny seeing Jimmy Page using a theremin on stage when I just saw Joe Bonamassa do the same thing in a concert from a couple of years ago….if he comes to the area, I will probably spend the cash to go see him since he plays the kind of rock, blues, funk that I like….what else? Oh, I did get the spring cleaning of the car done today just in time for it to start raining in a few minutes but I knew that was coming over the next few days and I don’t care…the inside of the glass will stay clean even if it rains and I like the way it looks with the water beading on the paint from waxing it and the glass from the Rain X I applied to it today…hmmm…that’s enough for now….I want to take it easy for a while since I’ve been on the go since 6:30 this morning….more later…
May 16th
Well…running really early this morning with getting to this at 5:44 but I have a reason for it…have a busy morning set up with the grocery run…then I have to wash and wax the car and do the first total cleaning of the interior and the glass…then I need to get a bike ride in before it rains…it’s supposed to be a two ride day today and it might be since I just checked the weather and the rain is holding off until around 4 this afternoon and it is going to be 75 today…don’t want to waste a day like that…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done since I felt like crap most of the day…just no energy again and that is getting annoying…I know I’m doing it to myself by not eating enough but I think there may be something else going on…not sure what that would be but I am going to try to eat more today and see if that helps…I did get out and get some cheap chicken at DD..couldn’t pass that up at 49 cents a pound but now I have 10 pounds of leg quarters in the fridge that I have to partially thaw so I can break it up and freeze some…don’t think I’ll get to anything else today but there is going to be lots of rain the next few days so I’ll have plenty of time to clean….more later….
Let’s get it to the courts…
Well…you know, I’ve frickin had enough of trump shitting all over the constitution as they did more of today when the WH said that congress has no “standing” to investigate the president and won’t provide them with any information at all…never mind that it is written into the constitution that it is exactly what the legislative branch has as one of it’s primary duties…so, let’s get on with it and stop the asking nicely and just go to the courts to have them force these assholes to provide what every president has…and on a parallel track, let’s start impeachment proceedings that the supreme court will have to rule that any information request “shall” be complied with…given the 8-0 precedent in the Nixon tapes decision and every other decision since the country was formed. No more damn delays, no more negotiation, just haul their asses into congress and lock them up if they don’t comply…geez….
May 15th
Well…feel like crap this morning and I think it’s an extension of how I felt yesterday all day…after I got back here after the second ride, I felt so worn out and lousy I thought I may have a bug of some sort…still coughing this morning and have no energy so it’s going to be a low key morning as I ease into it…I seem to have slept okay last night and nothing hurts too much so the ibuprofen I took last night seems to have worked but I am still a little concerned about taking one every day….I think I am going to have to alternate 30 mile days with 15′s on the bike…just too damn old to do 30′s every day and I don’t want to make riding a chore so I won’t do it…I do have some errands to run this morning so that means I won’t get on the bike until later today…I want to have a top down run to get some cheap chicken at 49 cents a pound and the car could use some running…haven’t used it at all this week and that is not good…and I do want to check on the fix for the coolant leak….not much to do today…the way I feel right now, I don’t think I’ll be doing much for a while…need lots of coffee to jump start my day….more later…

Well…sitting here waiting for the chicken to cook for lunch and thought I’d do one of these while I wait so I don’t feel stressed when I head back out on the bike this aft…today could be the day that the first subpoena on trumps financial records gets upheld and his accounting firm could be forced to turn them over. Last week, the judge in the case called bullshit on the delays that trump’s lawyers were trying to do by breaking the case down into tiny little parts and hoping the judge would go along with their ploys and stretch the case out for months…but, the judge wasn’t buying it, saying he was ready to hear from the parties involved today and he would rule on the validity of the subpoenas by the end of the day. One of the stunning parts was the judge told trump’s lawyers that there was no need for any other filings in the case since there was enough case law already on the books for him to render a decision…and legal experts out there think that means that that the legality of the subpoenas will be upheld. Of course that means that trump’s lawyers will appeal the decision immediately and I hope the House’s lawyers will again ask for an expedited hearing to take away trump’s only move that is to delay, delay, delay until he is out of office. There are other cases that are also coming up with idiot boy’s attempt to block Deutsche Bank from handing over more records and we can hope that that judge will expedite the case as well…as Rachel said last night, they can delay but they won’t be able to stop the House from getting the information they asked for…and that could be today…impeach…
May 14th
Well…it’s another 5:04 morning…sung to the tune of “Tequila Sunrise” by the Eagles…even though that was early, I still slept okay but my shoulder is aching today and I must have done something to it overnight…darn….I did have a dream with golf in it for some reason and I had broken my driver somehow…that whole thing was weird since I haven’t had the clubs out for over two years now…I think I may have to go out to the driving range next week just to see how the shoulder would hold up to it…the pain in my shoulder may have something to do with going back to 30 miles yesterday after “only” doing 15 miles Sunday…and it looks like the weather will be nice enough to do the second ride this afternoon with no fleece and that will be nice…it looks like a warm up is coming and the first wisps of spring will be here by the end of the week with temps approaching 80…I think I’ll finally be able to get the spring cleaning done on the car…the glass is just filthy and it needs to be vacuumed and there is winter’s worth of dust on the plastic that has to be removed…and that will make me happy after fixing the coolant leak yesterday…not much to do today….I do need to cook and clean the bathroom along with dishes and laundry so I will have something to do today…more later…
401K’s down the drain…
Well…hey there…trump voters…got a smile on your face today? Got a 401K? If you do, you shouldn’t…due to your idiot president, you have lost over 5% of your money in just the past two days…with the 630 point plunge from today and the 500 point drop from Friday, the Dow is down over 5% in just the past two days and it is only up 1.5% over the entire past year…so with inflation up over 2.5% in the past year you guys have lost a percent out of the gate on top of the 5% loss….and it is all because of the moronic trade war and tariffs that idiot boy has imposed on all of our trading partners. This is the “great businessman” you morons voted for and saddled the country with so I have not one morsel of feelings for you…it is just a shame that you hurt the entire country and the world just because you believed a reality show idiot that knows absolutely nothing about anything….I wish it was later today…I need a drink…
That’s a relief…
Well…as you know, I have been having a problem with coolant leaks on the car for the past couple of weeks with the top of the overflow tank being soaked in coolant and leaving small puddles under the car…so, this morning, I decided to check it out to see where the leak was coming from so I didn’t have to think about it anymore…so, after I fired the car up and let it run for a few minutes, I could see that the coolant was coming out around where the overflow tube is attached to the fitting that is on the cap….so, I thought it was broken since it is 25 years old plastic but when I took it apart to check it, I found that the tube that goes down into the tank was completely plugged so the pressure that made was pushing the coolant out around where the tube connects to the cap…so, after cleaning that out and putting it back together, I let the car run for a few minutes and no leak so that’s a relief and makes my day…it looks like I’m due for another coolant system flush….
