Well…I’m really starting to hate the media and it’s blatant trying to tear down Jo Biden and push for the asshole trump…and the latest incident was the Time magazine interviews of both men this past week and it was revealed that Joe took the hard questions and breezed through it cogently with no gaffes that the rest of the media was hoping to have happen…but the big reveal was that when they interviewed idiot boy, they dumbed the questions down and selectively edited his answers to make them try to make sense…now they have been doing the crap for years at his fascist rallies…when you see a transcript of any of them, he sounds dumber than a box of rocks and bare makes sense…and he glitches all the time where he just stands there for a minute staring blankly at the crowd…and they think Joe is too old? And now the publishers at both the Washington Post and the NYT are straight from right wing propaganda outlets and they are transforming those two papers into fox news in print…and I can’t stand it…geez…

June 8th
Well…damn, I’m sore everywhere this morning and I wonder how it’s going to feel on the bike? Going to do three rides outdoors this morning since there is little wind and it’s going to be sunny and almost 60 when I go out in an hour or so…I am going to sit here and enjoy the luxury of coffee and time today…don’t have anything to do today…okay, I do have things to do but nothing that is really pressing so I can choose what to do…going to grill some chicken today so I can make some chicken burritos for the next few days…I do need to clean the bathroom at some point and that will probably be this afternoon…the pain in my shoulders has moved to the right side where it has always been and it must be from sleeping on it last night…didn’t sleep well with getting up around three and then up and down the rest of the night but I feel okay…but the coffee needs to work soon or I’ll be dragging on the bike….it was a little weird to have a big chunk come out of the rear tire tread on the bike yesterday…it was as big as the tip of my finger and I could feel it through the seat coming back…but the tube protectors did their jobs so I didn’t have to put a new tube in…lots of races on today with F1, Indycar, and nascar all on and at the same time so I’ll have to pick what I want to watch…and cook chicken before all of that….more later….
It’s been a day…
Well…darn, it’s been another one of those busy days with going over to my brothers house again and spending over 4 hours there working…but, the day started out with me losing power while I was on the indoor bike around 8 am…then over to work on the tools, back here about 1:30pm and decided to take a ride in the rain…chunked the rear tire so I had to replace that while I was grilling burgers…glad I had remembered to buy a tire a couple of weeks ago to have one in stock…so, I’ll have to buy another one this week…the one I took off had holes all over it but I’ve only had one flat so far this year…fingers crossed…I did get some more tools today…got an electric impact driver that I’ve always wanted and a few small things…some little clamps that will come in handy when I get to patching the tubes I have downstairs…and I haven’t had time to even look at the news or do my weight work yet…butter get moving…again…
June 8th
Well…damn, need to get moving right now since I am going over to my brother’s house again today and need to get a bike ride in before that…so that gives me 10 minutes to drink coffee and do this….had a good day yesterday but didn’t get a damn thing done and today will be the same…need to get started on the windows and I’ve never been this late since I’ve lived here…damn, I’m getting old….when I get back here I need to grill some burgers since I thawed a pound of burger that needs to be cooked and I’ll need to add some chicken breasts so I’ll have food for the week…and I’ll make a batch of chicken masala tomorrow and probably some chicken burritos…want to make a pizza this week, too so I’ll have plenty of food…too much, really…it is supposed to rain today so I wonder if that will keep me off the outdoor bike? I can live with 16 miles on the indoor bike and can probably use the rest…not much to do today…just the work at my brothers and back here to figure out what else I need to do…more later…
A good day…so far…
Well…it has been a pretty good day today with all of errands I had to run and getting three rides in…and this afternoon, I’m heading over to Hackley Park for the “taste of Muskegon” with 30 food trucks, music and lots of other activities…going to ride my bike over there and hope I can just walk it around with me…if they don’t let me in, oh,well…I did go to the atm today to get cash out to have for the food tonight and just realized that it is the first time I’ve had cash in my pocket sine getting back from the trip last October…weird…it looks like I’m going to try to get another year out of this Miata since I can’t find one that I can afford with the prices doubling in the past two years…so that means I’m going to order a set of front brake pads and install them next week…they’re only about 45 bucks so no big deal…going to leave here at about 4:30 when the park thing opens and before it gets so busy…won’t spend more than 10 bucks…but it will be nice to get out to an event and the only ones I do are outdoors so I have to take advantage of them…

Well…how stupid are the people who run the right wing rag “The Federalist”? Stupid enough to attack Dolly Parton, that’s how much…and they called her interpretation of christianity a “false gospel” because she doesn’t hate gay people…now these pretend christians are going after her because she said she loved everybody…look, there is probably not many people who have done more good than Dolly…supporting the LGBTQ community with no reservations, distributed hundreds of million of books to children, and living a life to be emulated…something that the haters are jealous of…and one of the attacks was that Dolly has said that she doesn’t judge people and the Federalist assholes turned that into a “get out of jail free card” and a way to “sidestep” addressing sin directly…and what these assholes are calling a sin is being gay…something only the maga folks think…so, shut the hell up you right wing assholes…no one wants to hear your bullshit…geez…
June 7th
Well…damn, how the heck can I be running late with only being up for a half hour? Need to get moving so I can get the bike rides started and run an errand by 8am…had a really busy day yesterday and didn’t get everything done until after 2pm…I did get the lawn mowed and weed killer applied after the 33 miles on the bike and I cut lettuce out of the garden to make a salad…I really like the flat leaf lettuce I planted…it has a better flavor than iceberg and I’m going to cut more to use on some burgers I’m going to grill this weekend….going to be eating out of the freezer for the next week or so since no one had any protein on sale this week…I was really sore last night after all the work on the yard yesterday but I feel okay right now and will be getting on the indoor bike in 20 minutes or so…should have the rides in by noon or so and I need to get started on washing the exterior of the house so I can get the windows cleaned…the people doing the condo project are putting on boat races in a couple of weeks and that may be cool to ride out and see…I need to put the new beach sticker on the car…think I’ve resigned myself to keeping the old Miata running through the year as I wait for the prices to come down so I can buy another one….not much to do today…just the rides and an errand and I need to get that done by noon so I can relax a bit…the busyness is wearing me out…more later…

Well…with the religious zealots in the repub party getting what they wanted with the overturning of Roe, their next step in getting total control of women’s bodies is to enact laws that would ban contraceptives of any sort…yeah, you read that right…the repubs want to make sure that women can’t protect themselves from unwanted pregnancies using the lies that birth control is an “abortifactant” that kills millions of unborn babies…and they are also lying about their goal, saying that they don’t support a national contraception ban…so Chuck Schumer got them on record yesterday by putting protection of contraception access to a vote in the senate…and as he knew, every damn repub voted against it since even the “moderate” repub senators are still maga assholes that go out of their way to hurt women…so now we will see hundreds of ads telling the truth about these troglodytes and their hatred of women…and it’s about time…geez…
June 6th
Well…damn, I’m worn out from the busy day yesterday and it’s almost going to be that busy today…need to get on the indoor bike here in 30 minutes but I just poured the first cup of coffee and it’s not working yet…need to do the grocery run today but I really haven’t planned any meals and probably should…thinking about grilling burgers and using my lettuce from the garden for that and for a salad…I am going to get to 4,000 miles for the year today and I wonder if I should take a couple of days to heal my body? Not off, since I have the goal of riding every day this year, but maybe a little easier…say only 20 miles? Hoping to get back to the normal routine today so I can go on autopilot for a bit…allergies are nuts and I need to remember to treat them before I get on the indoor bike in a few minutes…it rained again last night and I sure hope that keeps my lawn alive for a while…it was looking pretty brown and I hope the food I put on helps…not much to do today…just grinding through my day gig as Donald puts it….more later…

Well…as the idiot trump spirals down into insanity, we get to go along for the ride even though we don’t want to…and just today he fell off the cliff of retaliation for the jury in NY finding him guilty of 34 felonies when he said if he is elected he will put Jill Biden in jail…you know, the wife of Joe Biden and a person who has committed no crimes…look, this crap needs to be pushed back against and right now and the media needs to stop saying “that’s just donald being donald”…it’s a convicted felon threatening the first lady of this country and the secret service needs to step in right now and pay this asshole a visit…people have gone to jail for threatening the president or first lady before and it needs to happen to the idiot and today…I just want trump gone from public life…he has defiled this country for far too long…cripes he destroyed the repub party and the repubs still follow him since they too like being assholes…they always were but now he has given them permission to do it openly…make him go away…geez…
