Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I had a nice lunch with T…and she brought me gifts…soap from the Bahamas and two potholders that she made for me…now, that is perfectly T and they are still making me grin….didn’t get on the bike yesterday since I just didn’t feel like it…will probably get out today but not for a while….need coffee first….not too sore today so it should be okay on the ride…my lower back was really stiff the other day but it seems to be okay today…we’ll see…..don’t have a lot to do today but watch Man U…I should clean some and probably will but, I’ll think about that after the coffee…more later….
Trumps’ private e-mail server…
Well…if we didn’t already know that the endless harping on Clinton’s private e-mail server was just a bunch of partisan repub bullshit, just take a look at what trump’s entire staff is doing…yep, they are all on a private server at the RNC…every damn one of them…the very servers that were hacked by the Russians a few months back and that are still vulnerable…where’s the outcry repubs? Bill O’Reilly, where’s your outrage? Sean Hannity, where is an entire network dedicated to this scandal? Republican house members…where are the endless investigations? Yeah….I thought so…all of the breathless shit that came out of Fox was just that…shit…and now we have trump even keeping his unsecured phone that he uses daily and that most 7 year olds could probably hack….hey idiots that voted for trump because of the incessant e-mail bullshit: you’ve be had…how does it feel?

Well…one bad thing that came from ending the news blackout was having to read about actors that I have enjoyed over the years dying…and today that list was added to by the death of Mary Tyler Moore….it is going to really age me but I have enjoyed her comedic work from all the way back to the Dick Van Dyke show in the days of black and white television through to her guest shots on “That 70’s show”….her own shows consistently made me laugh and I thank her for that….RIP Mary…..
January 25th
Well….feeling a little run down today and I do really need some coffee….did get out to run some errands yesterday and it was nice to get out for a while….and got a good bike ride in but today I’m not sure about today….don’t want to go back to full thermasuit but I guess I’ll have to since it won’t be warm enough this morning….and it is supposed to rain in a while and I don’t want to get wet….my back has been stiff lately and it is okay until I get on the bike…then I pay for it the rest of the day….but, it’s still not as bad as it used to be so I can deal with it….don’t have a lot to do today….might have lunch with T but haven’t heard from her so I’m not going to count on it….more later….

Well….welcome to the new USA…that looks a lot like Putin’s Russia…as of today, Trump has put a total blackout on all government communications unless he approves of them…yep, the FDA can’t report on foodborne illness anymore…so folks, you are on your own if Chipotle decides to poison thousands again…you’ll never find out about it…if any company decides to poison the air or water, the EPA can no longer report it…so goodbye to clean air and water….you get my drift…after all all of Trump’s promises of “transparency in government” he has just dropped a cone of silence on every scientist and every department in the federal government…if you want a hurricane report from the NWS…too damn bad, you’re not going to get it….this is how democracy dies…thanks a lot all of you assholes who thought trump would “drain the swamp”….you have killed our country…..
January 24th
Well….I did get a few things done yesterday so that was not a total waste….and I got a good bike ride in but my lower back is hurting again…went over a hundred miles and that didn’t happen until into April last year and I still almost made 3K miles….so maybe this year will be better….didn’t sleep well last night and I am feeling it today….forgot to take the allergy stuff so I couldn’t breathe too well and that had something to do with it….but, I was good last night so that should help today….really don’t have a lot to do today so I think I’ll take it a little easy and just clean some….more later…..

Well….as I said before, this series is going to be about the things I predicted would happen if the idiot trump got elected that most people said “he’ll never do that”…well, guess what? He is doing real damage already and this is to document another one….today, the idiot reinstated the “gag rule” that states that any organization that takes funds from the US can’t talk about abortion at all..not as a family planning or women’s health issue…not at all…and you know what that means? The the idiot trump has just sentenced thousands of women to death across the world and did it with a big grin on his face….and the idiots out there thought there would be no consequences for not voting….geez…
January 23rd
Well…another wasted day yesterday…okay, I did get a few things done so maybe it wasn’t totally wasted….had a weird thing happen to the car yesterday…had a headlight bulb explode inside the housing….had to take it off and shake all the glass shards out….have never seen that before….that’s the second one that failed in a couple of months….and I got some stuff done around here yesterday that will have to continue today…need to run some errands this morning so I can get more work done around here…but, I’m not feeling it right now…it was nice to hear from T yesterday and I feel for her having to go back to work today….I do need to win the lottery so none of us will have to work anymore….okay…need more coffee…more later….
The resistance begins…
Well…I don’t feel alone anymore…after watching the people across the country coming out in record numbers to protest against trump and his cronies, I know that there are enough people out there like me that all is not lost…the latest estimates are that almost 4 million people protested in the US, making it the largest protest in US history…bigger even than those for the Vietnam war by a large margin and I hope this puts the repubs on notice that they have to pay attention to us…that they will not be able to just do what they want and the protest showed that a large group in this country knows the trump is an illegitimate president and has no mandate to do anything…and the protest across the world shows that everyone knows that trump is an idiot and is only in power by illegal means…I hope it keeps up and we can show that all of us didn’t vote for the idiot in chief….geez…
January 22nd
Well…yesterday was a day that I needed to break out of the malaise that I have been feeling lately…I mean, how can you not grin when it is 62 in January in Michigan? I did get out on the bike in a t-shirt and shorts for a long ride yesterday..but today doesn’t look promising…may have to have a half thermasuit but that will be okay, too…or I may go full and get out early….I do like riding in the fog….I have been almost successful in keeping my weight down this winter but I still have gained over 5 pounds….and I hate that…but, I guess all I can do is keep trying….don’t have a lot to do today…the Wing play around noon so I will have to get out on the bike before then…and I should clean some but probably won’t…just not into that right now….more later….
