Well…with billionaires across this country putting their fingers on the scales of the election to try to throw it to the idiot trump, it highlights why there shouldn’t be billionaires and that can be prevented with a wealth tax that taxes every dollar over 10 million dollars that they “earn” at the rate of at least 90%…a great example of why there should be no billionaires came this week when the billionaire owners of the Washington Post and LA Times over ruled their editorial staff and stopped the papers from endorsing Kamala Harris for president, breaking a more than 50 year precedent for both papers…and the interference was so egregious that the editor of the Times and others at the paper quit in protest at the blatant bias they showed for the most unqualified candidate for president in the history of this country…and we all know why they did it…to make sure they get the huge tax cuts that idiot boy has promised them…so what should the personnel at the papers do now? They should go to the papers that have done the right thing for the country and write an op-ed why they think endorsing Kamala is the right thing to do to save our democracy…it’s obvious that Jeff Bezos doesn’t care about the US and some way of making him pay for this betrayal of democracy needs to be found..geez…

Elon is a Putin stooge…
Well…with the revelation that ole elon has been in constant contact with putin since 2022, how much do you want to bet that the money he is spending to install the idiot trump is Russian cash? You can be sure that every dime is going to reimbursed by putin and it is the same kind of crap that putin has pulled in every election since 2016…but he couldn’t do it without the help of traitors here in the US…and you know that includes the entire repub party at this point…but mostly three billionaires…musk, thiel, and murdoch…three “immigrants” who are a lot more dangerous than any person seeking asylum or undocumented immigrant who puts food on your table…so when are these guys going to be deported for being traitors to this country? They are naturalized citizens whose citizenship can be revoked if they are found to be criminals…do we need any more evidence that musk at least is a traitor? Look, musk is a government contractor and should have all of the government contracts he has terminated since he is obviously a security risk…get on it Joe, the country will thank you….geez…
Gas prices and inflation?
Well…the coffee has started to work so I’m going to try to continue the trend of doing a political one before I go down to ride the bike…in surveys when stupid people are asked why they are going to vote for the idiot trump, two of the things they cite are gas prices and inflation and I marvel at the shallowness of their thinking as they go on that gas prices lower during the idiot’s term…yeah, they would be after he crashed the economy and mismanaged the pandemic that led to over 10% unemployment so of course demand and prices went down…don’t any of these low intelligence voters understand economics at all? Prices are down under 3 bucks a gallon out here right now so what is their bitch? Look, yeah we know that inflation has been too high but we also know that almost half of that was just greed of corporations taking advantage of inflation to raise prices and profits…the largest grocery chains profits soared to their highest point ever during the recovery and that is a result of consolidation in the markets that led them to have pricing power to raise prices any amount they wanted…if you don’t understand that, go read a book on economics…I learned that in Econ 101 in college…and current inflation is down under 2% as the fed manages a “soft landing” and avoids a recession that all of the right wing economists have been bleating that was going to happen during Biden’s term…never did…so the delusion that things were better under the idiot trump is just that, a delusion driven by the addiction to fox news that trump supporters have…by all measurements, the US economy is the envy of the world and that is not by accident…it is by a reality based approach that uses economic knowledge to make decisions..not the bloated blathering of an idiot who has no clue what the word economy even means…vote for facts, not for fascists…geez…
Poor Rudy…
Well…I was laughing quite a bit yesterday when I read that poor old rudy had to turn over all of his property but his clothes to the two Georgia poll workers who he repeatedly slandered after the 2020 election…making up lies that they “stuffed” ballot boxes and other cheating that went on for over a year…so now rudy has to turn over his 6 million dollar apartment in New York along with any cars he owns and all other property that he has stashed around the country…and he is still going to owe them over 150 million dollars more so anything he earns from the right wing wingnut machine goes to them, too…how’s being trump’s puppy working out for ya, rudy? Look…we know that idiot boy doesn’t hire the “best people” but I think there is more to it than that…even smart people who come into the idiot’s contact seem to have their IQ lowered by half and will do things that any rational person would walk away from…just look at all the lawyers who have gone to jail or are under indictment after working for the idiot…I have no sympathy for them…they knew what trump was and they worked for him anyway…geez…
Everyone on SS is going back to work..
Well… I have a message for all of the people on SS who are now eeking by and who are thinking of voting for trump…get ready to go back to work in 2031…it was revealed by the non-partisan Committee For a Responsible Federal Budget yesterday that idiot boy’s tax plan will cause SS to go bankrupt in 2031, meaning that seniors like me whose entire income is SS can plan on going back to work in 2031 for the rest of their lives…I will be almost 80 when that happens…and even though we’ve paid into it our entire lives, idiot boy and his cronies are going to take the money that supports SS and give it as tax breaks to the rich and corporations…and yet people on SS still support idiot boy and are going to vote for him…again…does this make it personal enough that we will vote for our own interests again? Nope…people will vote for that corrupt felon, thinking that “he won’t do that” as they go broke and lose their homes as I will…and they will buy the fox news propaganda and even when we are homeless, they will blame “socialism” and the dems for killing SS as the repubs have tried to do since it was signed into law by Roosevelt…please SS recipients, get your heads out of your asses and face the reality of your vote for a senile asshole…people will starve and one of them is going to be me…geez…
This is pretty darn funny…
Well…as the evangelicals try to force their religion on everyone through the Dobbs decision that took away women’s rights to control their own bodies, there are some people who are not taking it lying down…as you know, the evangelical taliban has been using the courts to enforce their weird view of the world that says women have no rights unless men give them to them…so hitting back at them through the courts seems like fair play to me…and that is just what a religion called the Satanic Temple is doing…and yes, they are recognized as a real religion by the IRS which gives them the ability to set up the tenets of the religion and way they see fit…and one of the major tenets is the right to abortion…so last week the temple sued red states that have used religion as the justification for taking away that right from women in direct violation of all of the carveouts that the religious right has forced into red states laws…and this type of suit has been successful in the past in getting Satanic Temple displays allowed in response to christian displays in public buildings…and I really think the courts have been so skewed by religion (christian) that they are going to have no choice but to recognize the rights of the temple followers…similar suits have been filed by Jewish organizations in direct response to Dobbs an are now wending their way through the courts…live by religion, die by religion…the evangelicals have no one to blame but themselves…geez..
Making our country look like the gutter..
Well…god, I can’t wait for the orange idiot to be gone so we can stop feeling like we’re living in a gutter every time he speaks…just yesterday at one of his fascist rallies, idiot boy went on and on about Arnold Palmer’s penis and seeing him in the shower…and this from a presidential candidate? This ass and his cult followers have made this country the laughing stock of the world and made the gutter their happy place that they just love to wallow in and they keep egging him on to go lower since they are just like him…and they seem to think that kind of crap is giving them power but all it does is make them look small…that there is no objective morality to them anymore…it’s just what the idiot says…and I can’t figure out why anyone looks up to the idiot…I mean lying, cheating, stealing, and committing crimes is the person his followers like? They must all be like him…no other explanation for it…and I wonder how they live with themselves? Geez…
Skewing the polls…
Well…if you’re concerned that the polls appear to be tightening with the idiot trump gaining ground, it’s all an illusion made by right wing repub allied pollsters flooding the country with new polls that are then added to the polling averages…and idiot boy’s favorite pollster, Rasmussen, has been shown to be collaborating directly with idiot boy’s campaign to make it look like he is more viable than he is…and the same thing is happening across all the swing states so take the polls with a mountain of salt…at least the aggregated ones like 538 that are more than happy to keep the biased polls in their averages…look, the only thing you have to think about is actual votes now that early voting has started and the enthusiasm our side has…and so far, the indications are that we are in good shape but still…get out and vote…I’ve voted already since the dems made it so easy with permanent absentee voting with no reason necessary…and that’s another reason to vote dem…they want everyone eligible to vote while the repubs want to prevent even eligible people from voting…and don’t believe the bullshit coming out of the repubs that undocumented immigrants are voting…just doesn’t happen…ever…geez…
Think I saw Kamala…
Well…when I was out on the second ride heading for the part of the ride that is on the road, I saw a Harris/Walz bus heading down Lakeside drive and it had 5 identical black suvs with it…and when they got to the stop sign/cross street the two suvs in front blocked off the cross street and the bus just drove through the stop sign along with the 3 suvs behind the bus…I know she is in Michigan today for meetings in GR, Lansing, and Detroit but why the heck would they be out here? Muskegon is not on the way to Lansing and to come out here and then have to go right back to get to I-96 doesn’t make a bit of sense…oh, well…it was a weird thing to see anyway…
Selective memory…
Well…still getting used to the keyboard layout of the new laptop but I’ll get there soon…one of the things I can’t understand is how people think the idiot trump did anything good about the economy and how he polls almost as good as Kamala on that issue…but I think Obama put it the best the other day when he made it clear that idiot boy was riding on the coattails of his economic work for the first two years of his term and made it clear that it’s always the job of a dem president to come in and clean up after the previous repub destroys everything…and that is just what Joe and Kamala had to do when they were elected…and they did such a good job that the US economy is the envy of the entire world…and every damn credible economist has said that idiot boy’s narrow sighted reliance on tariffs to punish the world will lead to an economic recession or worse for the entire world…so, people…just remember that the repubs have screwed the pooch on the economy every time they have been in charge for the past 50 years…and it’s because they let ideology and wishful thinking guide their plans…and you can see that with their reliance on tax cuts over and over again when it has been proven that they don’t work other than to make the rich richer…oh, I guess that’s the point…geez…
