Well…as you have seen here before, one of the joys of my life is calling out the hypocrites on the right I guess whenever they open their mouths…now, they are at it again with the death of Antonin Scalia yesterday…now, you have heard me go on about Scalia and his wrongheadedness on almost every opinion he ever wrote, and all you have to do is read his Bush v. Gore, Hobby Lobby, and Citizens United opinions to see what I mean…he had a penchant for just making stuff up to meet his biases…and his ethical challenges were well known with his frequent trips to the Koch brothers secret meetings where at least the appearance of impropriety oozed out of him. But now that he has died, the repubs hypocrisy is on full display…on a daily basis, these idiots rail and rail about the constitution and that Obama is tearing it up….as soon as the death was announced, the repubs new meme is that, since Obama is in the last year of his term, we should wait to name a new justice until the next president is elected…and they are justifying that by constitution, constitution…something something….well…there is nothing in the constitution that says a president can’t appoint someone in his last term…not anywhere…and, to leave a vacancy on the court for a year has never been done…even saint Ronnie of Reagan appointed one in his last year….I really do hope that the repubs will carry through on their threats to not approve any nominee….and then, when we win the election and take back the senate, we can get a real progressive on the court that will start to repeal all of the wrongheaded crap that the conservatives have foisted on this country….geez…

Typical smug asses…
Well…have been keeping up with the water debacle in Flint, and every day more information comes out in e-mails that the Snyder appointees in the Department of Environmental Quality…(the state department that is responsible for the mess in Flint) were a bunch of smug asses that thought they knew better than the EPA that there was a problem with not treating the water with anti corrosive chemicals. These idiots even went so far as trying to avoid returning the EPA’s e-mails since the person there was just a pain in the ass for harping on the fact they needed to treat the water…even going so far as getting their bosses to intercede so they guy would leave them alone. This is just another reason that political hacks who think government can’t do anything right should NEVER be put in charge of an important function like protecting the people of this state from poisoning….typical repub MO….hope these idiots go to jail…geez…
New Hampshire…
Well….it was an interesting if not expected set of results that came out of the primary in NH yesterday with the clown Trump winning on the repub side and Bernie taking the dem side. And, the fallout from the others on the right has already started with Christie dropping out later today and ole Marco trying to figure out why his stumbling, bumbling performance over the past week led to his finishing 5th or 6th in the single digits…couldn’t happen to a less qualified candidate, that’s for sure. Don’t really even have to mention the others, although Bush did get above 10% for the first time…the 33% the Trump got just shines a light on the racist, homophobic base that supports him…and even it he gets the nomination, there’s not enough of them to elect him. So, we move on to Bernie…as you know, I support Bernie and it was good to see him get over 60% of the vote but that just starts the battle that moves on to Nevada next week…it is still fun to see the repub establishment flailing around trying to figure out how to stop Trump but they are getting what they deserve with their scorched earth policies that have led to the rise of the crazies…geez…
Finally, a primary…
Well….running late since I have been trying to get the tax stuff together so I can get it in tomorrow….I am a little excited that there is finally a primary to judge who is ahead and how the rest of the field is doing…I am really hoping Bernie takes it huge but the battle of ideas between he and Hillary is nothing but a good thing for our side….and if Hillary wins all the way through, I will support her just to make sure no repub can even get close to the White House…I am laughing a little the Rubiobot is falling on his face and the latest revelations from his staff that he gets anxious and uncomfortable when dealing with new things should just about eliminate him from the race. I am a little curious to see who drops out after today…we will have both Bernie and Hillary since they are pretty even but Christie and JEB! should be gone after today…at least I hope they will be….I am really looking forward to the debates between our side and their nominee….going to be a bloodbath and fun to watch….
Ted Cruz is just nuts…
Well…haven’t been feeling too well today so I am getting to this one a little late…but, it is something that I just needed to comment on…that is that Ted Cruz is just nuts…how else do you explain what happened In NH the other day? When asked what he would do about climate change if he is elected, his answer was “nothing”…and then he launched into an 8 minute screed about how climate change is a conspiracy by liberals to expand the government and take away our “freedoms”….now, when I was young and the politics on the right were not so insane, this kind of nonsense would have gotten ole Ted laughed out of the room and the guys in the white coats would have come running with the straightjacket. But, these days, this delusional behavior is a requirement to get their delusional base to vote for them…..if you could see me, you would see me shaking my head with a dejected, resigned look…something like weariness that our country has come to this…geez…
Marco Rubio is a robot…
Well….didn’t watch the repub debate last night since they are all the same as I’ve said before….but, there was one theme that came through in all of the commentary…and it made me laugh…Marco Rubio is a robot that had a glitch in his programming…in one three minute span, he gave the same canned answer three times…and the answers had nothing to do with the questions….to me, this shows just how unqualified this idiot is to be president…if he can’t think on his feet and formulate new answers to questions, how would he handle the uncertainty that comes with the job? Is he going to ask Putin to submit his challenges in advance so his people will have time to drill the answers into him? This is one of the problems that I see with politics these days…no one on the right has the intellect to take in new information and synthesize new answers without first running it by their pollsters to see if it will hurt them if they say it…even if it is the truth. After last night, I can’t see how anyone would think the empty suit Rubio is qualified to do anything other than managing a Mc Donald’s….and he would have to have his “people” help him with that…..geez….
Here comes ole GW….
Well….as you know ole JEB!’s campaign has been floundering with a 6th place finish in Iowa that cost him almost $3,000 per vote given the huge sums of money he spent there…and now, his solution to his moribund campaign? Roll out ole GW (aka the smart one) to campaign for him in south Carolina since the voters there “still think kindly” of him….now, who would roll out a war criminal, worst president in modern history to try to help his campaign? I think this just shows how insulated and delusional the folks in the Bush camp are….they still think GW was a good president, that he didn’t authorize torture, that he and his cronies didn’t crash the economy that we are still digging out from. I welcome ole GW coming out to remind everyone that he was not elected to his first term…that he was installed by the right wingers on the supreme court and then it went downhill from there…what’s next? Bring out Cheney? Just tell him to leave the shotgun at home…or maybe JEB! could get some sympathy if Cheney shot him in the face….I wish I was a comedian, it would just be so easy to write the jokes about this debacle…geez…
Now we need the EPA?
Well…as you know, there has been a huge crisis in Flint where or governor’s man allowed the city to be poisoned with lead to save a few hundred dollars a week, and now the blame shifting has started where all of the repubs that were (and still are in charge) are trying to shift the blame to the EPA saying that they didn’t do enough to prevent the problem…and not enough oversight so the water would be safe. Now, I sure hope you see the irony in this coming from the repubs…the same repubs who have spent the years since the clean water act was passed trying to gut the EPA and filing suit after suit in the courts to prevent them from ensuring that the water in this country is clean. So now, when the model that the repubs want, state control of the cleanliness of water fails, they cry and cry that it’s the EPA’s fault. I am tired of the hypocrites on the right gutting government and the programs that we need to have a safe environment to give tax cuts to the rich and then jumping up and saying “see, government doesn’t work”…..it would work if they did their damn jobs for a change instead of attacking the poor and unions…I’ve had enough of the party of “no responsibility”….geez….
It’s a tie in Iowa….
Well…not sure if you have been following the causcases in Iowa, but I’m pretty sure you’re as tired of it as I am…the cool result was that Bernie and Hillary basically tied with only two tenths of a point separating them and the policy that they stressed was what the dems wanted to hear…not like the right who are filled with crap and personal attacks that I am just tired of. I probably should mention that Ted Cruz won on the repub side with Trump being the first loser as he calls it and Rubio coming in third that he has been touting all day as a win…the delusion runs deep in this one. the one thing I want my side to remember is to not go overboard on that support…that when or if your candidate loses, we have to remember to support the other candidate on our side….to sit out to just spite the chosen candidate will hand the presidency to the repubs…and I’m not sure that damage will ever be repaired…look how long it took Obama to fix the mess left by ole GW…geez…
Snyder is such a whiner….
Well…I am just shaking my head at this latest thing from ole Snyder…our wonderful governor here in Michigan. He went on the radio a few days back to whine, whine, whine that he is being heckled in public when he goes out to eat….let that sink in for a minute….this guy who, along with his cronies, poisoned an entire Michigan city and now he is whining that he is the victim here…not the people of Flint or the rest of us who are going to be stuck with the tab for the repairs, but him. How typical is that of the repubs across the country? They screw up completely, causing untold damage to the country and then when they get called on it they whine and play the victim….hey Snyder, how about you do something about the water in Flint instead of just whining and studying it….how much more tone deaf can one person get? I guess we’ll see…..geez…
