Well…running early today and there is no reason for it other than getting up early….slept okay without earplugs last night and I think my ears like it…so, I may try it again tonight…not too sore this morning and I can move my neck today so that is an improvement over yesterday…I did get scorched lying out in the sun and that is odd since I’ve done that all week with no problems…so, I think I’ll have to take the day off and let my skin rest….I did run an errand to try to get some things I need and it was a bust…didn’t spend any money so I guess that was a good thing…didn’t get a lot done yesterday but I will do some work around here today so I won’t feel guilty about it….I am a little irritated that the storms formed to the east of us last night and we didn’t get any…there haven’t been many this summer and I really want to see some….not much to do today…need to run an errand after the bike ride but that is about it….more later….

Can’t any of his lawyers tell him to shut his trap?
Well….have been watching the start of the Manafort trial and the idiot trump’s twitter reaction to it and the question comes to me: Can’t any of his lawyers tell him to shut his trap? Ever since the trial has started, idiot boy has been jury tampering and trying even more to obstruct justice by calling the trial a “witch hunt” and continually saying that Mueller is “conflicted” in his investigation. Now, for anyone else in the US who had said and done one tenth of what idiot boy has said and done, there would be charges filed and we would have been treated to a “perp walk” with the big orange idiot heading for jail…I know that Mueller is looking at every tweet and using it to bolster his case of obstruction against trump, but, damn, he needs to do something now before the US is damaged even more by the orange menace. From everything I’ve read about his trial, Manafort is going down….and, as I’ve said before, trump used the same bank fraud and money laundering methods that Manafort did…I wonder if that is why trump is losing his mind over this trial? Hope he does…impeach…
August 2nd
Well…running a little early for a Thursday since I didn’t have a lot to get for groceries this morning….still spent 48 bucks but didn’t get a lot…slept okay last night and feel pretty good today after taking 3 nights off and being good….it’s raining a little right now so I’m going to wait a bit to get out on the bike….don’t mind getting wet but I still need more coffee and the rain may be gone by then…I did get out and got some chicken yesterday but it needs to thaw to use….okay, took a little break for a minute to talk to Brian and see some videos of him teaching his grandson to fish….it’s raining out there right now so I may run over to Menards first today….need a new trash can for the kitchen and some new wiper blades for the car…was going to wait but they’re only 5 bucks each so I should get that done….I did get some cleaning done yesterday and I think I’ll do the rest of the kitchen this aft….more later….
Some good news from Michigan…
Well…we finally got a little good news here in Michigan yesterday when the supreme court has allowed an anti-gerrymandering proposal to go on the ballot for November. You can guess the usual suspects who opposed having fairly drawn congressional districts..yeah, the same damn folks, all the repubs, the chamber of commerce and yadda yadda….who have a vested interest in still being allowed to cheat and choose their voters by re-districting since if the vote is fair, the repubs will lose. So now, if the proposal passes, and it is polling at 60% for right now, we will have a commission that will draw the lines here fairly, not “putting all the democrat scum” in one district as one repub commented when the latest lines were drawn under repub control. Maybe, just maybe, we can take our state back from the repub cheaters who have taxed retirees to give ceo’s huge tax breaks and who are still fighting against equality for all of Michigan’s citizens, not just the ones that the repubs deem worthy….vote….
Got your grocery ID card yet?
Well….as we all know, the idiot trump is dumber than a box of rocks and has no clue to how normal Americans live their daily lives…and this was on full display at a “rally” yesterday in Florida where he tried to excuse the vote suppressing voter ID proposal there by saying you need ID cards to buy groceries so it’s okay to have to have them to vote. Now, this idiot has never set foot in grocery store in his life and the people he has surrounded himself with probably haven’t either so how could he know? if I think back to yesterday, when I WAS actually in a grocery store, and I wonder if I should report the cashier since he didn’t ask me for ID when I bought potatoes or chips…and, I even used a card to buy them….if I remember correctly, and I do, I never even had to talk to anyone…just through the checkout and out to the car….I wonder how many of trump’s troglodyte supporters are now going to run out and try to get a grocery ID card today? They are just dumb enough to do it…impeach…
August 1st
Well…running pretty much on time today and I’m not sure why….could be that I’ve been good for the second day in row and slept okay….had an okay day yesterday and got a few things done and today will be the same….need to get out to get some chicken for meals later in the week and then come back here and clean some….need to do laundry and clean the kitchen…might even clean the fridge today since it has been needing it for weeks now….I am still sore from sleeping wrong the past few days and I am having trouble turning my head with the neck pain so I think I’ll take something for it before I get on the bike…at least my back has cracked and doesn’t hurt this morning so I guess that’s something….more later….
Last one for the month…
Well…didn’t really need to come back for another one today since I am quite a bit over for the month but I am really bored so I thought I’d noodle for a bit and see what happens….need some more water first….okay, I’m back….I did get a couple of errands run this morning….had to go to Target to get a few pairs of cut down socks that I needed for riding the bike to help get ride of the biker tan around my ankles that came from the normal crew socks that I push down to make as small as possible…got 6 pairs of padded black ones for 10 bucks so that was a good deal…and I ran out of some food staples that I need for meals tomorrow, so I stopped at Meijers for that stuff and now I have some good potatoes to have with chicken tomorrow…the old ones had turned to liquid inside the skins and that is just too gross to think about….I am going to go over to daily deals tomorrow to get boneless/skinless chicken breasts for 99 cents a pound and that is another good deal…will probably get new wiper blades for the car at Menards, too since they are just around the corner from daily deals…was supposed to go out for a couple with G today but haven’t heard from her so I guess I’ll save some money and hang out here…okay, I could go on with this for a while but you’re probably as bored as I am so I’ll stop here….
The trials start…
Well…it’s a pretty great day today with the first trials of trump’s cronies getting underway and I have the popcorn popped for the fireworks that are going to happen. I wonder what is in Manafort’s head actually going to trial instead of taking a plea deal? People who have seen the evidence say that the cases are so strong they really don’t need any witnesses, just the paper trail that this idiot left behind…I think part of the reason that Manafort hasn’t flipped is he thinks he is going to get away with it…after all, he has been a criminal his whole life and this is the first time he has been charged with anything…and you know that the repubs think they are above the law since they constantly break it with no consequences…just look at the Bushies who tortured people, breaking both US and international law and do you see any of them locked up? I know this trial really has nothing to do with trump’s conspiracy with the Russians, but it will send a chill down the idiot’s spine since Manafort is charged with exactly the same things that trump has done his whole life…and we know that indictments are coming…can’t wait….impeach…
July 31st
Well…I think I’m on time this morning…but, time really doesn’t exist so who knows? Had a good day yesterday and I won at pool for the first time in a month so that was cool….slept okay last night but struggled to eat enough again yesterday so today may be bad on the bike…we’ll see….I really do need to take a day off the bike since I have been on it every day for 4 months and I could use a rest day…didn’t get anything done yesterday but I do need to prepare some food for tomorrow…have thawed some fish and chicken and I need to marinate the fish to bake…and I do need to get out to run some errands today…my daily deals store has boneless skinless chicken breasts on sale for 99 cents a pound and how can you pass that up? And, I need some new, low cut socks from Target so that will be the plan after I work out and ride….more later….
July 30th
Well….back to running on time today and I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing….slept okay last night and don’t feel too badly this morning but I think I was under on calories again yesterday and I am getting really tired of thinking about it…we’ll see how bad it’s going to be when I get out on the bike here in a while….need to get some food out of the freezer to have tomorrow….didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today will be the same with pool this aft but I really don’t need to get much done….don’t have a lot to do….T is going back to work today and I am a little worried about her…hope it goes okay…the car is back to not starting and I think I may have to start using the battery disconnect switch again…can’t wait to have a garage to work on it again….not much to do today…just going to ease into it with more coffee and some news….more later….
